Roadway Moving made our move incredibly smooth from start to finish. From packing and loading to unloading and unpacking, the entire team was professional, efficient, and handled our belongings with great care.
Moving is usually stressful, but they made the whole process feel seamless and organized. The crew was punctual, hardworking, and went above and beyond to ensure everything arrived safely and was set up properly in our new home.

Roadway made this experience seamless and so fast! The guys were incredibly nice, took great care of our items, and placed everything in our new home where we wanted it like we had never even moved in the first place. Would recommend Roadway to anyone 🙏🏼
The team packed quickly, but they did a HORRIBLE job of packing. They didn't make any effort to pack things nicely. They didn't even keep pairs of shoes together. Multiple pairs were split and packed in separate boxes. Expensive electronics equipment was shoved in with clothing haphazardly. 2 bottles of liquid leaked. No thought was given to how things were packed. Anyone can just throw things in a box. We regret paying for packing. We also regret giving the workers large tips. They lost one of the feet of our bed, and assembled the bed so poorly that it almost broke the 1st time we lied down. They damaged our media unit. And we found 2 cigarette butts inside boxes. The boxes were also labelled terribly - 10 boxes marked “bedroom” is useless. A complete disappointment. I see all the positive reviews. Maybe we got their worst workers, but I would not recommend them.

roadway literally wowed me because i had no idea they would do literally everything! they disassembled and reassembled everything, unmounted my TVs and anything else mounted on the wall, and wrapped everything with care. literally did not have to lift a finger i was so impressed.

I cannot recommend Roadway Moving enough. I hired them to move me from Ithaca down to New York City for a summer internship, and they genuinely exceeded every expectation…The two things I was most nervous about were my piano and my TV, both of which arrived in absolutely perfect condition. They handled the piano with such care, and watching them navigate everything so professionally put me completely at ease. What really blew me away was the speed and attitude despite the weather. It was pouring rain the entire move, and they didn’t slow down or seem phased once. My clothes and everything else made it without a single issue. Thank you to my amazing movers!!!

The team in Dallas (Stefan, Gorge, and Allan) were incredibly nice and professional during the move. The Vehicle transport was already incredibly easy and was delivered in 2 days!
Ricky and Ray were the best! They came right on time and were super quick with moving all of my things. They were super carful with everything and wrapped things that needed extra protection. They also were able to put my clothes in wardrobe boxes which was great. Overall great experience with using Roadway moving and will definitely use them again in the future!
Roadway Moving made my cross-country move (NYC to Southern California) feel so much less stressful. From the start, Peter was incredibly helpful throughout the quoting process. I kept going back and forth adding items to my inventory, and he was always quick to respond, patient, and thorough in explaining everything along the way.
On moving day, Julio and his crew were punctual, efficient, and handled everything with great care. They packed and moved several large items, including my couch, TV, and other heavy furniture, all while dealing with a fourth-floor walk-up. I was really impressed by how smoothly and quickly the team worked without sacrificing professionalism or attention to detail.
So far, the experience has been very positive, and I’m hoping the rest of the process, including shipping and delivery, goes just as smoothly.
Post delivery update : Luis and his partner had great communication regarding the delivery of my items. He communicated with me the day before to coordinate drop off time. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. He packed my items into my storage unit without issue.

Packed our whole apartment within a couple of hours and took great care of all of our items as they packed. Didn't need to be micro-managed and asked questions when they needed to. Professional and positive! Moving day can be stressful, but the Roadway team really kept the positive energy alive and gave us a stress-free move. They moved us into a three story walk up and never complained (or slowed down) once.
I used Roadway Moving for a recent move in Austin and I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. I’ll be honest, I was dreading the whole process. Moving is stressful and I’ve heard enough horror stories from people about damaged furniture and unprofessional crews to have my guard up going in.
From the very start, their communication stood out. I filled out a detailed questionnaire, had a full phone call to go over everything being moved, and received multiple confirmations leading up to move day, including a check-in just a few days before to see if anything had changed. That alone set them apart.
On the day of the move, the crew was fast, efficient, and incredibly careful. They wrapped every piece of furniture tightly in plastic and used corner and edge protectors I had never even seen before. Everything was handled like it actually mattered. Before touching anything, they walked through and photographed any pre-existing damage, which showed a level of professionalism and accountability I really appreciated. They checked in with me multiple times throughout the job and even after they were done to make sure I didn’t need anything else.
My belongings arrived in perfect condition. No damage, no stress, no drama. They made one of the most chaotic days of my life feel manageable, and that is not something I take lightly. If you have a move coming up, do yourself a favor and book Roadway. You won’t regret it.

I’ve lived in three countries and seven cities and I can hand on my heart say, this is the BEST moving company I’ve ever used. I’ve used countless services and the price is VERY GOOD - I was honestly shocked. From the moment I talked with them, they made sure everything was prepared properly and I felt like a human rather than just a job (I’ve had other companies make me feel this way). They communicated accurately about pick-up and came exactly on time. Everyone who worked with my stuff was extremely kind and very hard working. I never realized how much stuff I had! GET THE PACKING OPTION. Trust me. It’s worth it. It’ll save you time, your mental health, and you know it’ll be packed correctly. There’s literally no way I could have moved all this stuff without them. Also, my movers were truly kind people. The type you can trust with your most precious valuables and who understand moving can be an emotional process. They were empathetic, kind, and genuinely positive. Next time I’m getting the “unpacking” service too! And I will be using them 100%. Thank you!!
Lured by positive reviews, I almost moved with Roadway, but their second, more considered estimate for my move, after more specific information from me, was almost double the estimate, at nearly $100 more per hour, than what I actually paid with the mover I chose instead. By then I had paid a 10% refundable deposit, also double that of the mover I chose. I canceled the move and requested the refund only 4 days after ordering service and 3 weeks before the move. I received an email response stating my requested refund would be reviewed for eligibility. I complained about that message. I was told that it was an automated response. Bad automation. I was also told I would receive the refund within 2 weeks.
2 weeks. I have never waited anywhere near that long for a refund. They generally take a few days, even 1 or 2.
Did I receive my refund in 2 weeks? I did not. I complained. Did I receive a response, an apology? I did not.
I had the credit card company reverse the charge. They advised, understandably, that if Roadway did refund the charge, then the reversal would be removed. Makes sense.
Has Roadway since processed the refund? It has not.
Interestingly, when I paid the moving company I did use, I mistakenly used a credit card different from the one I intended, which offered more advantageous credit terms. The next day, I contacted the moving company and asked if they could possibly reverse that charge and make it again to my preferred card. They very kindly agreed, saying they would charge the new card first and after that, reverse the charge on the first card. Which they did.
Had such a great experience with roadway moving. Isma & Tino were the best! They took great care of all my items and we were amazed at how fast they were moving! Will absolutely use them again in the future!

Richard and Alex handled our cross-country move to California, and their level of care and professionalism was outstanding. They wrapped every large piece of furniture incredibly thoroughly - I was genuinely amazed. Everything was essentially scratch-proof from every angle.
Their inventory system was also impressive: every item and box receives its own barcode, which is scanned during packing, and we received a detailed inventory list almost immediately afterward.
They were fast, efficient, and highly organized, but never rushed. They took the time to make sure every furniture corner was protected and every glass item was packed securely and safely.

Serhii and Andrew were great they took extra care to wrap and protect my furniture and were also very careful not to damage any floors and walls. I have done a few moves in the past and I am confident that this was the best furniture wrapping I have seen. They placed corner guards and shrunk wrapped everything. The Roadway app is very useful as it allows me to track my items electronically. I also appreciated the text I received that showed me the driver’s location prior to arriving.

They offer storage as well which helped me since I have a gap between my leases. Even their telephone service was very sweet. Would definitely recommend and use their services again!

The easiest move I have ever had. I always dread moving, but Roadway made this move the simplest experience ever. They helped me finish packing, labeling, and most importantly did all the heavy lifting. Nothing was broken, damaged or even slightly askew at the end of the move. They even helped me take apart furniture and packed everything that went into storage like a perfect Tetris cube. I will absolutely be giving them a call if and when I need to move again.

I've only hired movers twice in my life thus far, and after not having the best experience with another company the first time, I was pretty nervous about my move from LA to NYC. I decided to go with Roadway after hearing so many great things (aka the influencers on instagram / tiktok haha) - and I am SO happy I did.
From the very beginning, the logistics coordinator was incredibly patient and took the time to understand my move, willingness to pay, the items that needed to be handled with care, etc. The communication leading up to the move was also excellent and also made the process much less stressful.
My furniture was disassembled and packed with so much care in LA, even though I wasn't physically there to facilitate/oversee the pick-up. When everything finally arrived in NYC, Ismael and Ale were the KINDEST movers. They were so friendly, calm, efficient and honestly kept my anxiety at bay. I went into the delivery thinking I would need to micro-manage everything or jump in there to get my hands dirty / move things around, but they handled it all so seamlessly!! All of the furniture and boxes were properly reassembled and everything arrived perfectly.

Roadway helped me with my move from New York City to Northern California and I've never had a move go so smoothly or in such timeliness. They packed up my apartment (about a bedroom's worth of stuff) in about 3 hours on a Monday, and my things arrived across the country the following Wednesday! No delays and no questioning where my stuff was throughout those 9 days because they kept me updated constantly.
As for the packing service itself, I was really impressed with how much they wrapped each piece of furniture with blankets, cut cardboard, and wrapping. I had a completely different experience with my last long distance moving company so I was pleasantly surprised.
The teams on both ends were extremely nice and helpful. They made sure that I was able to lable each box myself and see what was going into each box. I really appreciated their patience with me! Then upon arrival, I was having them put my stuff in a specific location to store. They made sure everything fit securely and even wrapped it all up again while it's being stored! I was also able to tell them which boxes to set aside that I wanted to unbox first.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely use Roadway movers again and recommend it to any of my family/friends.
We moved from San Diego to Charleston ~ cross-country and truly cannot say enough good things. We’ve done this move 4 other times on our own and this truly changed the game for us! The actual movers are so kind, timely, and respectful. The consistent follow up from the team via email/phone call is remarkable. All of my questions were always answered and they were so so fast getting across the country. Everything arrived perfectly and still organized in every box. We will never move without Roadway again - for all long distance and short distance moves. :)

Okay I literally cannot say enough good things about Roadway Moving. I was SO stressed about moving and hiring movers but the guys who showed up made the whole thing actually so fun and enjoyable. They were cracking jokes the entire time, super friendly, and somehow also incredibly professional at the same time. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Every box and every piece of furniture was handled with care. I genuinely trusted them with all of my stuff and that’s not something I say lightly. If you’re on the fence, just book them. Seriously.
