Having Roadway come pick our stuff up to move across the country was a breeze. I am very confident that all of our pieces will arrive in a timely manner with everything in tact! They came and packed everything up for us and were very careful with all of our items. Our movers were Sava and Goran, both of them were very kind and helpful! They were incredibly professional, careful, efficient, and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail when packing and protecting our belongings. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was packed extremely well, with all the corners properly covered and protected.

They handled some of our largest and most important furniture—including our king-size bed, mattress, refrigerator, dresser, and other furniture—with an incredible amount of care. Nothing felt rushed or careless. They took the time to make sure everything was properly wrapped, protected, and secured before loading it.

Edgar and Ramon were genuinely exceptional. Moving can be stressful, but having a team that you can completely trust with your belongings makes such a huge difference. Their professionalism, care, and attention to detail gave us tremendous peace of mind.

This is the first time I’ve ever used a moving company for a cross country move and I am SO immensely grateful for Roadway Moving. They were there every step of the way through multiple communication check ins and the kindest crew on top of it all. The movers were on it and such hardworking people with the best attitude. This experience really took a huge weight off especially in light of everything else you have to think of during a move. I will definitely be using roadway again in the future. Run fast from this company. They misrepresent how responsive they are. Over 50 calls to them that were never answered by a human. Escalation emails that were never acknowledged because 48 hours prior to my move, I had no confirmation that it was actually happening.

Calls to my assigned associate Simeon C had him shouting at me because he “just arrived to the office” and was annoyed that I was calling him to find out details of my move the day before. My complaining apparently made him look bad. These associates need to behave a lot more professionally.

The morning of the move- no comms from Roadway when the movers were supposed to arrive at 9am. I finally received a call about 15 min before 9am saying they would be late. The same thing happened on the morning of delivery. No calls or anything until the movers were already running behind. Roadway leaves you hanging in the wind on one of the most stressful days of your life without consistent professional communications. Then they give you no way to get in touch with an actual human being if your assigned associate is an underperformer as mine was. There should be an automatic human call line once you’ve entered into a contract with Roadway. Instead you get funneled through the same understaffed (apparently) call system as everyone else where it asks you if you want to hold and then announces that no one is available to take your call and hangs up on you.

It was not a pleasant experience though I’ll give them a star because my furniture did arrive in tact. I also give credit to the pick up and delivery crew because they were at least solid hard workers who took good care of my stuff. But the rest is this experience was not great. Sadly I don’t know what the alternatives are given Roadway’s footprint but if I were doing this again I would demand to have an associate, a back up and that associate’s boss direct line. Being constantly unable to reach someone when you are moving was a stressful and frustrating experience.

We hired roadway moving from NJ to NY and they completed the job with no issues. They brought blankets to wrap our items, extra boxes, and lots of extra tape to seal the top of our boxes. No items were damaged in the move except one wine glass which may have been an issue with too little bubble wrap.

However they are very nickel and dime-y. Every little item must be written and paid for. Also the main guy was very pushy in asking for a tip, he asked us three times throughout the day on his tip. However the other guy that seemed to be the one man job wrapping and moving all the boxes was amazing and very nice. Overall the service was average/below average but they got the job done.

I recently used Roadway to move from Los Angeles to NYC. My representative throughout the process was Irina Nedoseikina and she was AMAZING. She answered any questions I had and we went through almost a dozen revisions on the quote due to me adding or subtracting stuff for the move, and she was very attentive throughout the entire process.

I will say, once the pickup crew came and took our stuff, that is when it became a bit too quiet. I had a 14-day window Roadway gave for delivery, but I was under the impression that they would at least tell me when my items left LA, and when they arrived in NYC. If it wasn't for the AirTags I had in the boxes, I would have gone over 10 days without hearing anything from them. I understand the logistics are complicated and they can't guarantee a delivery date far ahead, but small things like telling me when my stuff has left LA and when it has arrived at the warehouse in NYC would have been such a relief.

Our delivery team was great, but there was some miscommunication on where some of the disassembled furniture items were within the packed boxes. They got a bit rushed towards the end and it seemed like they might give up before I started looking through the items to find legs for one of the dressers. I did pay for the TV dismount and packing, but they did also tell me that I didn't pay for the unbox(?) of the Roadway box, so they left me with the TV in the Roadway box, and also the Roadway moving blanket that was wrapping the TV. Overall, a great experience (highly recommend booking EARLY! I booked 4+ months out, and got a great rate).

Could not recommend Roadway Moving more highly! The entire process was seamless from start to finish. The team was professional, efficient, communicative, and incredibly careful with my belongings. Moving is stressful enough, and they made everything feel easy. Would absolutely use them again!

I had a great experience with Roadway from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with—from my initial request for an estimate through the completion of my move—was friendly, competent, responsive, and easy to work with.

The crew that moved my belongings into storage was efficient and extremely careful with everything. When it was time to move back into my newly renovated apartment, Darko, Marko, and Nemanja took equally good care of my belongings as well as my newly refinished floors and freshly painted walls. They made sure everything was placed where I wanted it and were a pleasure to work with.

These guys are such pros. I moved from Utah all the way to NYC. They were incredible and the NYC team was in and out in a blink, took all packaging and trash with them, and put my furniture back together. I couldn't be happier and I won't be moving without them ever again!!

Fantastic movers. Moved across 3 state lines, which took 2 days. We did the full house pack, which the team completed in 6-7 hours. The following morning they were able to unpack everything in 4 hours. Arturo and his team were amazing, couldn't recommend them any higher, the best team out there!

I was extremely impressed with the two gentlemen who handled my move. My move was a little tricky, since some items were going to my personal storage while others are being held in your storage until I’m ready for them. I had everything color-coded for them, and they paid close attention to my coding, which put me at ease. Additionally, they took great care with my items and belongings — everything was packed thoroughly. It took longer than I expected, but that was because they were making sure nothing broke. They were patient with my requests and so kind. I was very pleased.

This was, by far, the best experience with movers I have ever had. A friend recommended them, and I am doing the same! My team was prompt, friendly, professional, efficient, and handled everything with care. My furniture was all wrapped, disassembled, then assembled upon arrival. Not a single item was damaged! We chose Roadway Moving based on its reputation, but our experience was extremely disappointing.

We were given a price range that depended on how much we packed ourselves. We packed virtually everything ourselves before pickup and did not have any furniture to move. We also paid 50% of the high-end estimate before the move.

Then, on the evening before pickup, we were presented with a substantially higher price than we had been expecting. We had little choice but to address it at the last minute because our move was scheduled for the following day. After we pushed back, the price was reduced, but it was still significantly higher than what we had anticipated based on the original estimate.

The problems didn’t end there. We were later informed that the truck transporting our belongings had broken down, requiring another truck to retrieve and transfer everything. As a result, delivery was delayed beyond the promised window.

When our shipment finally arrived, numerous boxes were crushed, collapsed, and punctured. We also discovered that at least four boxes were missing.

Moving across the country is stressful enough without unexpected pricing changes, delivery delays, damaged belongings, and missing boxes. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Roadway Moving.

They did a fantastic job with my move from Georgia to California. I had zero stress. They handled absolutely everything and nothing was messed up. The price is unbelievably low for the quality of service that they provide. I would 100% choose them again for future moves.

I did my first (and hopefully last) cross country move and went with roadway for a number of reasons… the first thing that stood out to me was the hospitality and attentiveness which was incredibly helpful along the way as a big move can call for a lot of steps, details, planning and doing. They were able to help me book my car shipment as well which took the stress and worry off of choosing the right company and the time it takes to do the research. Team from Roadway moved me out of my apartment today. Richard, Dioni, and Sasa were friendly, professional, orderly, and handled all my items with care including packing the entirety of our kitchen. They were very attentive and even moved a table to the bedroom for my wife (7mo pregnant) to sit on. They were at our door 9AM sharp for a 9-10 arrival window. We’re on a fifth floor walk up and they took care of everything properly up and down the stairs including our big sofa which I found to be sturdily packed and protected with materials. All other non-boxed items were thoroughly wrapped with carpet and corner protectors. Would definitely have this team move me again.

I used Roadway Moving for my first out of state move...and let me tell you how fantastic my experience was. When Josue, Sammy, Edgar, Osmar, and Arlington first arrived (on time), they were so polite and walked the house with me to go over everything on the plan for the day. Let me start by saying that Richard called to greet me and say he was on the premises for the move. Under stress and lack of sleep from packing last minute items I robotically replied “I’m good how are you.” His response was “I am great, today is a great day!” Honestly that impression immediately changed my mood.

The movers handled our out of state move, exceptionally from start to finish. They were professional, efficient, friendly and treated all of our belongings with great care as if they were packing up their home. The crew worked hard, communicated well throughout the process, and made what could have been a stressful move feel smooth and organized. We couldn’t be happier with the service. 10 out of 5 stars! This is far and away the best moving service I’ve ever had/used. I have moved across the country four times, and I’ve never had such a great service from start to finish. Boyan and his crew were spectacular. Friendly, timely, efficient, and exercised the utmost care over my belongings. Boyan treated my move as if it was his own, and it shows. Roadway even worked around and met my extremely complicated schedule for “single day of the week delivery window.” I will use Roadway every time from here on out. Cannot express my satisfaction enough!

I just did a cross country move from NYC to LA and I would've never been able to do it without Roadway! I had so much stuff I needed to move and they made the process so easy with full packing, and all my stuff got delivered to my new place in LA in about 2 weeks! Everything was intact and no damage :) Packing my 1 bed took about 2 hrs. and delivery (unloading) was like 30 minutes they work so fast and efficiently. Always going with Roadway they made my life so easy.

Update: Just did another move with Roadway, and they moved my 2 roommates and I into our new place so seamlessly! I was nervous of getting all of our things mixed up during moving, but the movers made sure to label every box so every thing went to the right rooms. The movers are always super kind and efficient, I don't think I'd ever be able to move again without them :)

Roadway moving exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, we could not be happier. We received 3 quotes for our long distance move, and Roadway was the only one to send an estimator in person. That meant a lot to us. They were the only ones to also provided an array of different sized boxes and a thick stack of wrapping paper. We were convinced they were going to be the most expensive quote BUT they were the least expensive. We couldn’t believe it. Boxes were delivered a week ahead as promised. Arturo and his crew arrived on time and even shifted the start time since we had a closing to get to. They were so expeditious, we made our closing with time to spare. Communication was top notch. They arrived at our new home the next morning as promised and unloaded everything with precise efficiency. Everything was placed where they needed to be and nothing was damaged. If I ever needed to move again, there is no question who’d we’d call. We’ve already referred them to our friend who is moving next month. Highly praise and recommend.

My grandmother got cancer and I wanted to spend sometime with her. I collected some art pieces I didn’t have any idea how I could reasonablely tranpsport them and the stuff I wanted to keep from my time in Los Angeles. Having completed numerous long-distance relocations over the years, I know firsthand how difficult it is to find a moving company you can truly trust with high-value & luxury wardrobes, décor etc. Entrusting your life’s possessions to strangers is never easy, which makes exceptional leadership stand out all the more.

What impressed me most was watching Antonio professionally lead, encourage, and direct his team under some of the harshest working conditions imaginable. The Air Quality Index exceeded 254, while temperatures reached approximately 97°F. Anyone with boots on the ground in those conditions understands just how physically demanding and dangerous that environment can be. Despite the extreme heat and poor air quality, Antonio remained calm, focused, respectful, and solution-oriented, ensuring both his team and my belongings were cared for with exceptional attentiveness.

Before my move, I worked closely with Ms. Lindsay Oliver, providing detailed information with additional Google Drive photos—of my inventory. One room alone contained upward of 150 large storage bins, along with numerous large/ severely heavy items, décor, TVs, beds, and more throughout the home. I truly appreciate Lindsay for taking the time to discuss my move in detail and for working to coordinate everything.

However, when her team member, Antonio, arrived with a single moving truck, it became clear that some of the inventory details and photographs I had previously shared had not been fully shared with Antonio. Based on my previous seven years of moving experience, which typically required a minimum of five movers and two trucks, I realized my moving details were not accurately or successfully communicated..

What truly distinguished Roadway, however, was how quickly this was addressed. Rather than allowing the situation to become stressful, Antonio immediately assessed the circumstances, developed a practical solution within minutes, and worked together with Lindsay and I to ensure the remaining items would be completed promptly. Lindsay assured me that Antonio would return to finish loading my remaining items on Monday, with delivery scheduled for Tuesday. I genuinely appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown in making things right.

Antonio, thank you for recognizing the challenge immediately, communicating honestly, and creating a solution without hesitation. Your leadership, experience, and dedication gave me confidence throughout the entire process.

Would not use this company again in future. Shipped a bedroom set from Las Vegas to Virginia. Paid $2380. The communication from my sales rep was satisfactory. I requested a quote and was able to schedule the move within a week. I received constant updates and inquiries for the pickup to ensure everything was smooth the day of. However once everything was packed up and picked up, I had no response from my move coordinator, Claudio. I reached out about confirming delivery times/dates, questions about damages and filing reports, no response. It has been 4 days since I initially reached out about delivery details. Bed frame arrived damaged. A hole in my ceiling from the mover bringing in the items.

My delivery contact, Luis, was great. He was the one to reach out to me to confirm address, date/time, etc. He was very transparent with me about assembling the items and documenting the damages he found from the pickup/transit as he unloaded the items. He assembled everything to the best of his ability and offered to try to fix the damage to the bed frame while assembling.

When signing the contract for delivery, I added a note about the damages but there’s no detailed location to describe them or upload pictures on the customer side. I asked the delivery POC, Luis, but he said there isn’t a spot for that except for the notes. The inventory list has a section for the condition of the items upon pickup and delivery but there’s no way for the customer to add details to that as far as I was informed. I was told to put in the claim afterwards. It seems incorrect to be required to sign for items “in good condition” without having an option to actually detail the condition if they are not.

I had the absolute BEST experience using Roadway in my move from Las Vegas to Dallas. I was impressed not only with how quickly they loaded my things into the truck, but just how fast they unloaded everything - took less than an hour and they were so efficient and friendly. I can’t recommend them enough - highly suggest Roadway for your next local or long distance move!

We love Roadway!! They moved us from LA to Jenkintown PA. It’s really true what they say in their advertising: they really took all of the stress out of both our moving days. The crews could not have been friendlier or more efficient. We had Junior as our foreman in LA, and Darwin in PA. Both were excellent leaders and their team members were so courteous, fast, and strong! One of our movers in PA, Brian, even gave our daughter one of his old skateboards. She was jumping up and down with excitement after they left! From the initial assessment with Jorge, to the check-ins with Christine in New York, everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Roadway!

We used Roadway for a long-distance move and could not have asked for a better experience. Both crews were professional, efficient, and so patient with our pet, who has some special needs - respectful, kind, and accommodating with every request. They packed everything carefully, delivered right on time, and even helped put things back together on the other end, which made settling in after a long drive so much easier. I moved with Roadway from Dallas to Los Angeles and had the best experience! I have a lot of fragile instruments and equipment and they made sure to take extra special care to ensure those items made it safely. I would definitely use Roadway again for another move. It was so great knowing I didn't have to stress about the moving process!!

We worked with Naseem Alrawi and his team from Roadway Moving and they were truly exceptional. After they left, my husband said “that was the equivalent of Michelin star restaurant service but for moving”. I would highly highly recommend him and his team if you have an upcoming move. This was by far the best move we’ve ever had - they made every step incredibly easy.

We moved from a large two bedroom in Manhattan to a house in Wilton CT. First of all, they did this job - which would typically be a 2 day job - in one day for us. They worked almost 12 hours straight, and by 8:30pm same day we were fully settled in our new house. Second of all, they handled everything with such care - we have a lot of nice things, especially glassware, as well as a lot of white furniture - and everything was unpacked in perfect condition, down to our hand blown/thin stem wine glasses. Additionally, they were on time, communicative, extremely efficient, and very thorough. The team was also just incredible to work with - Naseem is very thoughtful and makes sure everything is going to the exact right spot and that they’re doing everything in the way that you want it to be done, and the rest of the team are just awesome - they go above and beyond, treat your house with care, and are kind/good people. If they see an opportunity to help, they do it no questions asked. We’re so happy with their work, and truly cannot recommend them enough.

I totally recommend Roadway!! I used them for a long distance move from NYC to LA. I had compared many moving companies, and Roadway had super competitive pricing despite being its own carrier (they do the entire move from state to state, vs some other companies broker out to other trucks and there’s less care for your items). I originally estimated about 330 cubic feet and Roadway estimated around $3,000+ I think, while another very reputable company quoted me $7,000+, and other broker companies quoted me a few thousand as well. I ended up only having about 200 cubic feet of stuff when I better calculated it, and my total went down to about $2,200 with roadway. This was such an amazing price to pay. The delivery to LA was extremely quick as well, which I was surprised by.
I bought moving insurance for my furniture just in case, but everything arrived in pristine condition, all items accounted for, still in their secure packaging, etc. Roadway put plastic, cardboard, and moving blankets on all furniture.
In NY, the movers put out a roller carpet in my apt which I really appreciated. Both the movers in LA and NY did a great job and seemed trustworthy, and communication prior was amazing. Definitely will use again and highly recommend for local or long distance moves!

Moving really has never been easier! Roadway arrived right on time to help us move out of our narrow 3 story townhome. It only took them about an hour to get our furniture loaded before we were off to our new home. We had a move from Dallas TX to Tampa FL. Every loading/unloading employee was kind. Also our rep Jonain was great! However, both of our 70 and 65 inch TVs were broken. Both desks of ours were also broken. Screws were also lost by the team during our move so the legs to our coffee table, and end tables were left unconnected and are unusable now. Unfortunately quite a few glass items broken as well. We haven’t gone through all boxes yet but unfortunately from what we’ve unpacked this is already the amount broken so far. I know it’s a risk and we were to expect sometimes to be broken, especially with an interstate move, but honestly did not expect the large and expensive items to be the items to break. I hate to leave a low rating review, but I’ve never had so many items broken with a moving company. 😢 I’m hopeful these items can be recovered considering the amount paid for the service and the 2 week wait window it took for our items to arrive.

I know coordinating an interstate move is no small task, and aligning schedules and deliveries isn't always easy. After explaining how important it was for us to receive our belongings by a specific date, the team made it happen, and we truly appreciate the extra effort and flexibility.

The only feedback I would offer is around communication after items are picked up. More frequent updates throughout the interstate moving process (even if there isn't a major update to share) would go a long way in giving customers peace of mind! Moving to a new state without your belongings can be stressful, so simply just knowing where things stand makes a big difference and builds higher trust. I also think it would be a really neat feature in the future if customers had a way to track their shipment or the truck carrying their belongings, similar to package tracking just as an extra layer of visibility.

We hired them for a very large move, and not a single thing was missing or damaged upon arrival. This is my second time moving with Roadway, they're just the best! My first move was within Brooklyn but this second move was long-distance from NYC to Ohio. I truly couldn't have done this move without Roadway.

They moved our two bedroom apartment across states with such care and attention to detail. My partner and I have a LOT of vintage/fragile/antique items that needed to be packed delicately to ensure everything made the trip safely. The guys brought a bunch of extra materials and basically created custom wrapping on the edges and surfaces of the furniture to ensure nothing was damaged in the travels.

Everything took a few hours and it gave my partner and I the space to take care of other last minute tasks before we left.

We were quoted a three-week delivery time period and I was pleasantly surprised that our stuff arrived at the earliest delivery date they'd provided, just three days after the packing. We had everything put in a storage unit and they scan and check every box to ensure all the items made it.

Overall, can't recommend Roadway enough, especially for long-distance moves! So much less stressful than doing it yourself and worth the money.

This was such a big transition and a major move, so I was really nervous about moving all of my things such a long distance. I looked into several different moving companies, and while some were cheaper, Roadway was absolutely worth the cost.

Roger was amazing throughout the entire process. He called, checked in, and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. Nicolina was also wonderful and so helpful throughout the process. Both of them made me feel confident and comfortable from start to finish.

During my move out of New York, I had some elevator issues, and they were not upset or impatient at all. They handled everything professionally and made the process feel so much less stressful. I also chose the full pack-up service, and I am so glad I did. They took their time packing everything carefully, boxed everything perfectly, and nothing broke.

I also received a guaranteed delivery date, and they arrived on time. During delivery, they took their time unpacking and made sure everything went smoothly. I have used other movers in the past where I felt like everything was rushed, but that was not the case with Roadway. I felt taken care of throughout the entire move.

Update from after the move: Once my delivery came a couple weeks later, I was suprised when I found my tv, bedside table drawer, and crystal glass broken, alongside a few other things. Also my tv and tv stand was missing many of the screws and my outdoor furniture never arrived. The moving crew was very nice, but it’s upsetting to still not have all of my stuff and it’s been over a month later.
