I cannot say enough great things about Edgar Jimenez and his colleague Ramon from Roadway Moving! They provided an absolutely outstanding pickup experience from start to finish.

They were incredibly professional, careful, efficient, and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail when packing and protecting our belongings. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was packed extremely well, with all the corners properly covered and protected.

They handled some of our largest and most important furniture—including our king-size bed, mattress, refrigerator, dresser, and other furniture—with an incredible amount of care. Nothing felt rushed or careless. They took the time to make sure everything was properly wrapped, protected, and secured before loading it.

Edgar and Ramon were genuinely exceptional. Moving can be stressful, but having a team that you can completely trust with your belongings makes such a huge difference. Their professionalism, care, and attention to detail gave us tremendous peace of mind.

On day of the move. They have add on cost. So extra $400. They claimed a few furniture was not mentioned, when they were. And let's just stay maybe, a lil miscommunication. But they said that I didn't mention the sofa. When the main reason for the move was the bed, TV, cabinet, sofa, mainly. There's no way!!!

This is the first time I’ve ever used a moving company for a cross country move and I am SO immensely grateful for Roadway Moving. They were there every step of the way through multiple communication check ins and the kindest crew on top of it all. The movers were on it and such hardworking people with the best attitude. This experience really took a huge weight off especially in light of everything else you have to think of during a move. I will definitely be using roadway again in the future. Thank you for everything!

Run fast from this company. They misrepresent how responsive they are. Over 50 calls to them that were never answered by a human. Escalation emails that were never acknowledged because 48 hours prior to my move, I had no confirmation that it was actually happening.

Calls to my assigned associate Simeon C had him shouting at me because he “just arrived to the office” and was annoyed that I was calling him to find out details of my move the day before. My complaining apparently made him look bad. These associates need to behave a lot more professionally.

The morning of the move- no comms from Roadway when the movers were supposed to arrive at 9am. I finally received a call about 15 min before 9am saying they would be late. The same thing happened on the morning of delivery. No calls or anything until the movers were already running behind. Roadway leaves you hanging in the wind on one of the most stressful days of your life without consistent professional communications. Then they give you no way to get in touch with an actual human being if your assigned associate is an underperformer as mine was. There should be an automatic human call line once you’ve entered into a contract with Roadway. Instead you get funneled through the same understaffed (apparently) call system as everyone else where it asks you if you want to hold and then announces that no one is available to take your call and hangs up on you.

It was not a pleasant experience though I’ll give them a star because my furniture did arrive in tact. I also give credit to the pick up and delivery crew because they were at least solid hard workers who took good care of my stuff. But the rest is this experience was not great. Sadly I don’t know what the alternatives are given Roadway’s footprint but if I were doing this again I would demand to have an associate, a back up and that associate’s boss direct line. Being constantly unable to reach someone when you are moving was a stressful and frustrating experience.

We hired roadway moving from NJ to NY and they completed the job with no issues. They brought blankets to wrap our items, extra boxes, and lots of extra tape to seal the top of our boxes. No items were damaged in the move except one wine glass which may have been an issue with too little bubble wrap.

However they are very nickel and dime-y. Every little item must be written and paid for. Also the main guy was very pushy in asking for a tip, he asked us three times throughout the day on his tip. However the other guy that seemed to be the one man job wrapping and moving all the boxes was amazing and very nice. Overall the service was average/below average but they got the job done.

I recently used Roadway to move from Los Angeles to NYC. My representative throughout the process was Irina Nedoseikina and she was AMAZING. She answered any questions I had and we went through almost a dozen revisions on the quote due to me adding or subtracting stuff for the move, and she was very attentive throughout the entire process.

I will say, once the pickup crew came and took our stuff, that is when it became a bit too quiet. I had a 14-day window Roadway gave for delivery, but I was under the impression that they would at least tell me when my items left LA, and when they arrived in NYC. If it wasn't for the AirTags I had in the boxes, I would have gone over 10 days without hearing anything from them. I understand the logistics are complicated and they can't guarantee a delivery date far ahead, but small things like telling me when my stuff has left LA and when it has arrived at the warehouse in NYC would have been such a relief.

Our delivery team was great, but there was some miscommunication on where some of the disassembled furniture items were within the packed boxes. They got a bit rushed towards the end and it seemed like they might give up before I started looking through the items to find legs for one of the dressers. I did pay for the TV dismount and packing, but they did also tell me that I didn't pay for the unbox(?) of the Roadway box, so they left me with the TV in the Roadway box, and also the Roadway moving blanket that was wrapping the TV. Overall, a great experience (highly recommend booking EARLY! I booked 4+ months out, and got a great rate).

A bad moving experience across the country. The office lacks any sort of meaningful communication. They just call you the night before expecting you to be ready to go even when you explain you live in a building where you need to reserve the elevator. When our boxes arrived it was clear that they had been thrown around. The boxes were half destroyed after we spent months meticulously packing everything with bubble wrap and packing paper and labeling boxes as fragile. It was clear that the boxes were not handled with care.

I recently used Roadway Moving for an apartment move in NYC and had a really positive experience. The movers actually arrived a little early, which gave us some extra time to make sure everything was organized before getting started. They were professional, friendly, and very careful with my furniture throughout the move.

They wrapped all of my larger furniture, carefully loaded everything onto the truck, and handled the logistics of getting everything out of my old apartment and into the new one. It also started raining during the move, but they kept everything moving and made sure my furniture and boxes were protected from the weather.

Once we got to the new apartment, they helped unload and get everything situated, which made a big difference since I was juggling a pretty busy day at the same time. Overall, the movers were easy to work with, communicative, and handled the unexpected parts of the move without any issues. The whole experience went smoothly from start to finish.

I had the best experience with Roadway Moving! They were so helpful in scheduling my super last minute move and working with me to find a time that worked. My moving crew was super communicative throughout the whole process and so careful with all my belongings. 10/10 experience, no notes!

I give five stars for Bryan and Danny’s customer service, and for the second set of movers sent by the company, who were great. The below review is for the movers who came earlier who refused to do the job (I hope their boss reads this because their behavior was simply unacceptable).

These movers in Queens we have are lazy. Go with another company. Currently, the movers have been sitting in their truck for HOURS. I had to cancel a stop because not all of the stuff going to storage stop and the house (total of 4 items) were together. I can’t move a 100lb.+ dresser and nightstand to the kitchen. They didn’t want to deal with getting minimal verbal instructions. YET THEY STILL WONT MOVE MY STUFF. Claim it’s too “disorganized”. Photo attached. Moves are messy. This is not outrageous. And they are claiming they need to pack 25 boxes when they don’t have to pack any. I even signed a waiver in case whatever they THINK needs to be packed gets damaged and they’re still sitting in their truck, refusing to move anything and are making me wait for a new crew.

Roadway saved the day on a very hot NY summer day! Their team arrived exactly on time and quickly moved us out — even providing wardrobe boxes at no additional cost for my closet. They delivered all furniture without any scratches into a walk up apartment in the summer heat like champions! Could not have done it without them. Also worth noting that there were no added fees or charges. What they said on the phone (prior to the move) is the same number I got at the the end of the move. Worth every penny!

I cannot recommend Roadway enough! Such an exceptional experience with them moving from NYC to Florida. The price was reasonable, the service top notch, and the speed of both pickup and delivery was amazing. I had a great experience with Roadway from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with—from my initial request for an estimate through the completion of my move—was friendly, competent, responsive, and easy to work with.

The crew that moved my belongings into storage was efficient and extremely careful with everything. When it was time to move back into my newly renovated apartment, Darko, Marko, and Nemanja took equally good care of my belongings as well as my newly refinished floors and freshly painted walls. These guys are such pros. I moved from Utah all the way to NYC. They were incredible and the NYC team was in and out in a blink, took all packaging and trash with them, and put my furniture back together. I couldn't be happier and I won't be moving without them ever again!!

Fantastic movers. Moved across 3 state lines, which took 2 days. We did the full house pack, which the team completed in 6-7 hours. The following morning they were able to unpack everything in 4 hours. Arturo and his team were amazing, couldn't recommend them any higher, the best team out there!

I was extremely impressed with the two gentlemen who handled my move. My move was a little tricky, since some items were going to my personal storage while others are being held in your storage until I’m ready for them. I had everything color-coded for them, and they paid close attention to my coding, which put me at ease. Additionally, they took great care with my items and belongings — everything was packed thoroughly. It took longer than I expected, but that was because they were making sure nothing broke. They were patient with my requests and so kind. I was very pleased.

The Roadway Moving team arrived perfectly on time and with wonderful, positive attitudes and smiles on their faces. Terrible company. I used them twice. Once cross country that crew was great but the New York City staff are terrible. I paid for full packing plus thousands of dollars for storage. Then when my items arrived, they damaged thousands of dollars of leather goods, packed food items with hazardous cleaning products. Threw things in boxes. They broke the arm of an expensive handmade Danish wooden dining chair. TV power cords and kitchen clock vanished. Cracked the marble top of my dresser drawer. I’ll never use then again

Claire and Becky were great in helping me schedule my pack and move to make sure I had everything I needed. Jonathan Osvaldo and his pack and move team were amazing. Kind, efficient and took care great care with all of my items and furniture. They always had a positive attitude, even when it was 100+ degrees outside! They packed my entire place in 4 hours. If you want a trustworthy moving company to get the job done, then Roadway moving is a must pick. From booking the move to making it to the final destination was a breeze. We chose Roadway Moving based on its reputation, but our experience was extremely disappointing.

We were given a price range that depended on how much we packed ourselves. We packed virtually everything ourselves before pickup and did not have any furniture to move. We also paid 50% of the high-end estimate before the move.

Then, on the evening before pickup, we were presented with a substantially higher price than we had been expecting. We had little choice but to address it at the last minute because our move was scheduled for the following day. After we pushed back, the price was reduced, but it was still significantly higher than what we had anticipated based on the original estimate.

The problems didn’t end there. We were later informed that the truck transporting our belongings had broken down, requiring another truck to retrieve and transfer everything. As a result, delivery was delayed beyond the promised window.

When our shipment finally arrived, numerous boxes were crushed, collapsed, and punctured. We also discovered that at least four boxes were missing.

Moving across the country is stressful enough without unexpected pricing changes, delivery delays, damaged belongings, and missing boxes. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Roadway Moving.

Moving is always super stressful so I decided to hire movers this time around. Roadway sent 4 movers to move my 1 bedroom across town and we were done within a few hours. They packed everything so carefully and everything was moved into my new place in the same condition which is rare with movers. They packed all of my hanging clothes for me in wardrobe boxes which truly changed the game not having to move the clothes off hangers. I did my first (and hopefully last) cross country move and went with roadway for a number of reasons… the first thing that stood out to me was the hospitality and attentiveness which was incredibly helpful along the way as a big move can call for a lot of steps, details, planning and doing. Which is a lot for one person to do on their own. They were able to help me book my car shipment as well which took the stress and worry off of choosing the right company and the time it takes to do the research. Not to mention, they helped me plan & execute this move in roughly 3 weeks! Roadway has been amazing to me and I definitely will use them for my next move as well. I am so happy with my choice, thank you Roadway you are absolutely amazing!!

Alex and team were amazing! We had them move of all things a large piano. Not only did they take over 45mins wrapping it perfectly and ensuring safe transport, they placed it in our new house in a perfect location. They were efficient, fast, cautious, and amazing!! 100/10 recommend roadway

I hired Roadway for packing and moving services. Leon was the leader and he was a great communicator and extremely nice! Carlos, Jesus, and Walter helped with the job as well. Roadway Moving provided the best moving experience I've ever had! I've moved 5 times of the past 6 years, and each year I'd get nervous about my moving experience because it never went smoothly. The second Roadway showed up, I knew we were in great hands. They were efficient, took such good care of our furniture, and they were so kind and nice to work with. Texted updates (which I 100% prefer over calling). Showed up during the window of time as they said. Professional. Quick. Yes the stuff they had to wrap took a while, but that’s because they did such a safe job! I have no worries anything they packed will have any damage. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

Roadway team did a great job. Very detailed and communicative through the quoting and booking process. On the day of, the team showed up early and ready to go. The team worked quickly and carefully and went above and beyond to problem solve. Follow up was thorough as well. Would highly recommend.

I recently used Roadway to move from one third floor walk up in nyc to another third floor walk up. These guys were incredible. They took such good care of my furniture and belongings and were so quick. I will never move without Roadway again.

I just used Roadway Moving for a second move. The team was SO helpful and assisted in packing up two apartments that we were moving to one new place. They dismounted my TV and wrapped up large mirrors and artwork with care. It was such a smooth moving day!

Highly recommend. The movers showed up on time and packed up my entire apartment with great care. They even brought garment boxes for my hanging clothes. They took apart my bed frame and dressers, and reassembled at the new place. The unpacking process was seamless and the entire move was done in less than 2 hours (from start at the old apartment to end at the new one!)

Julio and team were incredible! Extremely professional organized and speedy. I’ve never had packing services before and they packed up kitchen, clothing, bathroom, and our (slightly overwhelming) book collection. Really went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. I’ve never felt this good at the end of moving day before. It was an investment but worth it. Thank you!!!

I couldn't be more thrilled with my Roadway Moving experience. On both legs of my journey from Ohio to Miami, the Roadway Moving teams executed what needed to be done with precision and efficiency. Apart from the teams handling all of our items with care and professionalism, each individual was cordial and pleasant, making the time spent together quite enjoyable. I also appreciated the attention to detail, whether that was rolling out a blue carpet in my new apartment or ensuring that each piece was wrapped and checked in properly. Naseem and his team did an amazing job. They packed our whole apartment with care, moved everything over to our new house, and made sure our beds and furniture were to our liking so we could sleep there that night. We didn’t have to lift a finger, service was incredible.

Team from Roadway moved me out of my apartment today. Richard, Dioni, and Sasa were friendly, professional, orderly, and handled all my items with care including packing the entirety of our kitchen. They were very attentive and even moved a table to the bedroom for my wife (7mo pregnant) to sit on. They were at our door 9AM sharp for a 9-10 arrival window. We’re on a fifth floor walk up and they took care of everything properly up and down the stairs including our big sofa which I found to be sturdily packed and protected with materials. All other non-boxed items were thoroughly wrapped with carpet and corner protectors. Would definitely have this team move me again.

When Josue, Sammy, Edgar, Osmar, and Arlington first arrived (on time), they were so polite and walked the house with me to go over everything on the plan for the day.
