had an outstanding experience with this team - moving from Southern CA to NYC included a bunch of logistics and timing - and Ken and Jon and their teams on both ends (and the road between) did a terrific job! The cost was reasonable and fairly negotiated and not nickel and dimed. The communication was great! Highly recommend.

Run fast from this company. They misrepresent how responsive they are. Over 50 calls to them that were never answered by a human. Escalation emails that were never acknowledged because 48 hours prior to my move, I had no confirmation that it was actually happening.

Calls to my assigned associate Simeon C had him shouting at me because he “just arrived to the office” and was annoyed that I was calling him to find out details of my move the day before. My complaining apparently made him look bad. These associates need to behave a lot more professionally.

The morning of the move- no comms from Roadway when the movers were supposed to arrive at 9am. I finally received a call about 15 min before 9am saying they would be late. The same thing happened on the morning of delivery. No calls or anything until the movers were already running behind. Roadway leaves you hanging in the wind on one of the most stressful days of your life without consistent professional communications. Then they give you no way to get in touch with an actual human being if your assigned associate is an underperformer as mine was. There should be an automatic human call line once you’ve entered into a contract with Roadway. Instead you get funneled through the same understaffed (apparently) call system as everyone else where it asks you if you want to hold and then announces that no one is available to take your call and hangs up on you.

It was not a pleasant experience though I’ll give them a star because my furniture did arrive in tact. I also give credit to the pick up and delivery crew because they were at least solid hard workers who took good care of my stuff. But the rest is this experience was not great. Sadly I don’t know what the alternatives are given Roadway’s footprint but if I were doing this again I would demand to have an associate, a back up and that associate’s boss direct line. Being constantly unable to reach someone when you are moving was a stressful and frustrating experience.

A bad moving experience across the country. The office lacks any sort of meaningful communication. They just call you the night before expecting you to be ready to go even when you explain you live in a building where you need to reserve the elevator. When our boxes arrived it was clear that they had been thrown around. The boxes were half destroyed after we spent months meticulously packing everything with bubble wrap and packing paper and labeling boxes as fragile. It was clear that the boxes were not handled with care.

I had a great experience with Roadway from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with—from my initial request for an estimate through the completion of my move—was friendly, competent, responsive, and easy to work with.

The crew that moved my belongings into storage was efficient and extremely careful with everything. When it was time to move back into my newly renovated apartment, Darko, Marko, and Nemanja took equally good care of my belongings as well as my newly refinished floors and freshly painted walls. They made sure everything was placed where I wanted it and were a pleasure to work with.

Fantastic movers. Moved across 3 state lines, which took 2 days. We did the full house pack, which the team completed in 6-7 hours. The following morning they were able to unpack everything in 4 hours. Arturo and his team were amazing, couldn't recommend them any higher, the best team out there!

This was my first time using professional moving services in NYC—and now, definitely not my last because of how easy the whole process was.

The Roadway Moving team arrived perfectly on time and with wonderful, positive attitudes and smiles on their faces. I gave them no easy feat considering my move out day was in the heat of the summer in 90+ degree weather. On top of that, I had more clothes & shoes than actual furniture and required hours of packing. The Roadway Moving team did it all with no issues and no complaints. My moving coordinator also checked in with my multiple times to make sure everything was going well, which I also appreciated. She was also available at all times during my move in case I had any questions.

Special shoutout to Bratislav, his moving team, Sharline, and Dalton from Roadway Moving who made this an effortless experience. My move would have been so stressful without them. Would HIGHLY recommend the Roadway Moving team during your NYC moving process.

Terrible company. I used them twice. Once cross country that crew was great but the New York City staff are terrible. I paid for full packing plus thousands of dollars for storage. Then when my items arrived, they damaged thousands of dollars of leather goods, packed food items with hazardous cleaning products. Threw things in boxes. They broke the arm of an expensive handmade Danish wooden dining chair. TV power cords and kitchen clock vanished. Cracked the marble top of my dresser drawer. I’ll never use then again

Claire and Becky were great in helping me schedule my pack and move to make sure I had everything I needed. Jonathan Osvaldo and his pack and move team were amazing. Kind, efficient and took care great care with all of my items and furniture. They always had a positive attitude, even when it was 100+ degrees outside! They packed my entire place in 4 hours. I'd highly recommend Roadway Moving to anyone I know.

Roadway did a terrific job with our move. They were careful with our things and took excellent care of everything while packing, moving and unpacking. Nothing was broken or damaged. Will and his team were so incredible with my move from NYC to Jersey! Everything was packed with such care, but also quickness. I was very impressed with how fast they moved up and down my fifth floor walk-up, and how they packed my things. Will and his team were very kind and made my moving day completely stress free. Couldn't recommend more!

I just used Roadway Moving for a second move. The team was SO helpful and assisted in packing up two apartments that we were moving to one new place. They dismounted my TV and wrapped up large mirrors and artwork with care. It was such a smooth moving day!

Highly recommend. The movers showed up on time and packed up my entire apartment with great care. They even brought garment boxes for my hanging clothes. They took apart my bed frame and dressers, and reassembled at the new place. The unpacking process was seamless and the entire move was done in less than 2 hours (from start at the old apartment to end at the new one!)

Julio and team were incredible! Extremely professional organized and speedy. I’ve never had packing services before and they packed up kitchen, clothing, bathroom, and our (slightly overwhelming) book collection. Really went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. I’ve never felt this good at the end of moving day before. It was an investment but worth it. Thank you!!!

Naseem and his team did an amazing job. They packed our whole apartment with care, moved everything over to our new house, and made sure our beds and furniture were to our liking so we could sleep there that night. We didn’t have to lift a finger, service was incredible.

Wow, I’ve never thought moving across states could be this easy and professional. I’ve moved all over the US and this time with Roadway blew me away by their thoroughness and professionalism. I had an incredible experience with Roadway Moving from beginning to end. Their team arrived exactly on time (9am-11am window and they arrived at 9:30, AND let me know when they were almost there) and was incredibly professional, kind, caring and EFFICIENT throughout the entire process.

They didn’t just move my things, they carefully packed my entire apartment for me. I have a lot of clothing, skincare, kitchenware and fragile items, and everything was handled thoughtfully and professionally. The team worked quickly without ever making the process feel rushed or careless. Also- I was in their way WFH the entire time (I felt so bad) but nobody in my calls even noticed!

They were also so sweet and patient with my dog, Kaia. Moving can be stressful for pets, but everyone was friendly with her and made both of us feel completely comfortable.

The entire team was punctual, respectful and hardworking, and it was clear that they cared about both my belongings and my overall experience.

José Rodríguez and crew we absolutely amazing! 🤩 how they packed everything to safely and diligently and even had to dismantle some items to make it smaller to pack better and safer. They use a lot of wrapping to protect all the items. He doesn’t take too long either which I thought was a miracle. His work is truly professional. He explains to me why he does everything. I would highly recommend asking for his crew specifically for your job!

I just did a cross country move from NYC to LA and I would've never been able to do it without Roadway! I had so much stuff I needed to move and they made the process so easy with full packing, and all my stuff got delivered to my new place in LA in about 2 weeks! Everything was intact and no damage :) Packing my 1 bed took about 2 hrs. and delivery (unloading) was like 30 minutes they work so fast and efficiently. Always going with Roadway they made my life so easy.

Update: Just did another move with Roadway, and they moved my 2 roommates and I into our new place so seamlessly! I was nervous of getting all of our things mixed up during moving, but the movers made sure to label every box so every thing went to the right rooms. The movers are always super kind and efficient, I don't think I'd ever be able to move again without them :)

My grandmother got cancer and I wanted to spend sometime with her. I collected some art pieces I didn’t have any idea how I could reasonablely tranpsport them and the stuff I wanted to keep from my time in Los Angeles. From quoting, checking in, and moving roadway made it very seamless , manageable , and something I could do with the limited time and resources available to me with how little time I had. This is my second time using Roadway for an apartment move in NYC, and I can't recommend them enough. Their team is professional, kind, and incredibly gracious. This time we also used their packing service, and it was a total game changer. We have several oversized, heavy, and delicate pieces, including a huge floor mirror, a vintage marble dining table, and large artwork, and everything was handled with so much care. They truly make the entire moving process feel seamless and surprisingly stress-free, which is no small feat with a dog and a one-year-old!

It was my first time using a moving company and I am so glad that I did. The team arrived on-time and went to work. Luis (the team lead) was very professional and courteous and so was the rest of the movers. This made my move so much easier and stress free. I had to move very last minute and had to move everything into storage while I figure out where I'm going next. I was freaking out about what to do with my things, but Roadway came to the rescue. They talked me through the process and made it all feel a LOT less overwhelming. The movers showed up on time and were absolutely lovely! They worked quickly and efficiently, despite dealing with incredible heat and my 4th floor walk up. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough!!!

I recently had a last minute move and Roadway was able to take care of the job beautifully. The packing and moving team were incredible, kind, and took great care of all of my possessions. Even with larger furniture, everything was wrapped and transported with no issue. I highly recommend!

I was honestly pretty nervous about moving because I’ve heard so many horror stories, but Roadway made the whole process so much easier. The crew showed up on time, was super friendly, and took great care of all of my furniture and boxes. They wrapped everything really well and were careful moving things through the apartment. We have used Roadway (previously they were UpLine Moving) for a move last year, and then again earlier this year to move some of our things to storage and bring them back. First off, shout out to the actual movers - they were absolutely fantastic. Near perfect - no walls were scuffed, no doors were dinged. And they work HARD. Second shout out to our sales contact Eithan - very professional, always responsive - all the way through the process.
My ding is on the customer service side - for the move today, they arrived 2.5 hours later than expected - and I never got a heads-up. Customer service went to voice-mail, and they never called back. Thank god for Eithan who jumped in and gave me an update. And I have been asking for some clarifications on the billing (not that there is a mistake, but a breakdown on what I was charged for storing our things) - has been a week - and no response.

I’ve now used Roadway Movers for not one, but two moves, and I can confidently say they’re the best moving company I’ve ever worked with. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, efficient, and genuinely kind.

So friendly, fast, and professional! I moved out of a 3-floor walk-up in Brooklyn and the Roadway team handled my move so seamlessly. They wrapped my furniture so quickly yet carefully and kept everything clean with their shoe protection and carpet runner. I also didn’t do the best job packing my heavy books so they kindly re-packed them for me in smaller boxes. I was amazed at how prepared they were. Incredible experience from start to finish! We did a huge family move and Roadway was so accommodating, quick, and efficient the entire time. They came with all the tools needed and just took care of everything. We knew this was going to be a massive job, and honestly, we couldn't have done it without them.
They didn't just move boxes, they helped with unpacking and assembly too, saving us so much heavy lifting. And the whole team was smiling the entire time, they actually made moving fun, which if you've ever moved before, you know is basically unheard of.

My white couch made it to the new apartment without one speck of dirt! They also rebuilt all my furniture and set everything back up upon arriving at the new place. I was handling a move from Fla. to NY, and then to CA....I had a lot of expensive artwork as well as furniture and some heirlooms.... I was very worried about trusting movers...Well, it turned out that Roadway did the move and they were in constant touch with me almost everyday.... all three moves went as they promised: They were on time, communicated with me constantly, and not one piece of anything was damaged! Alejandro and Sebastian from the South Florida team were on time, great communication and took care of packing all of my items with a lot of care.

Only taking one star off due to having difficulty at times reaching customer service but once I was able to reach them they always took time to answer my questions and solve any issues.

The crew that came with Brahim and Illyes were great - super efficient, mindful and willing to go the extra mile - and willing to work around my dog! Roadway was also extremely responsive and checked in the day of the move to ensure all was set and going well. 5 stars!

Honestly just need to shout out Roadway Moving because they were incredible. We moved from a one bedroom in Midtown Manhattan to Connecticut and I was already dreading it but they showed up early, got straight to work, and were packing so fast it was almost hard to keep up with them.

They were so careful with everything too. I have an embarrassing amount of perfume and every single bottle was individually wrapped. They even saved the ribbons off a piece of furniture and packed them neatly. Didn’t ask, just did it.

The team actually told us it was the most stuff they’d ever seen come out of a one bedroom, which checks out. Zero damage, zero stress, and they had us unloaded faster than I expected.

If you’re debating whether to hire movers, just do it. 10/10 would call them again.

We recently moved from Manhattan to England and chose Roadway Moving as our moving company. We have moved around (due to work) to 9 countries and this has been one of our easiest moves! The guys, Alon, Kimmy, Mandel and Ralph, were polite, efficient, very careful packing our stuff, and very fast. Ben and our admin contacts made all the paperwork hassle free (even with a demanding and complicated building). Being 5 months pregnant and with a little toddler running around, ease and efficiency was paramount. Highly recommend them!

They were awesome! Efficient, kind, smart packing and didn’t miss anything! Arrived early. Super polite! Even gave me back my house keys which I had forgotten to grab out of the way of the packing. I would definitely use them to pack again. They were even able to unmount and pack our huge flush-mount TV!

The salesperson who can to my home before the move,Joe Hamill was also very courteous and accommodated me by getting me boxes prior to my move so I could pack some things beforehand. Moving in NYC while eight months pregnant is not for the faint of heart, but Roadway made it so much easier than I expected. My husband and I didn't lift a finger. The team had to navigate some unexpected challenges during the move, including stairs and service elevator restrictions. They took great care of both apartments, using corner protectors and floor coverings throughout to prevent any damage.

As a bonus, they were wonderful with our pup, which meant a lot to us. We would absolutely use Roadway again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a full-service moving experience that actually delivers on its promises.

The team packed quickly, but they did a HORRIBLE job of packing. They didn't make any effort to pack things nicely. They didn't even keep pairs of shoes together. Multiple pairs were split and packed in separate boxes. Expensive electronics equipment was shoved in with clothing haphazardly. 2 bottles of liquid leaked. No thought was given to how things were packed. Anyone can just throw things in a box. We regret paying for packing. We also regret giving the workers large tips. They lost one of the feet of our bed, and assembled the bed so poorly that it almost broke the 1st time we lied down. They damaged our media unit. And we found 2 cigarette butts inside boxes. The boxes were also labelled terribly - 10 boxes marked “bedroom” is useless. A complete disappointment. I see all the positive reviews. Maybe we got their worst workers, but I would not recommend them.

Richard and Alex handled our cross-country move to California, and their level of care and professionalism was outstanding. They wrapped every large piece of furniture incredibly thoroughly - I was genuinely amazed. Everything was essentially scratch-proof from every angle.

Their inventory system was also impressive: every item and box receives its own barcode, which is scanned during packing, and we received a detailed inventory list almost immediately afterward.

They were fast, efficient, and highly organized, but never rushed. They took the time to make sure every furniture corner was protected and every glass item was packed securely and safely.

The easiest move I have ever had. I always dread moving, but Roadway made this move the simplest experience ever. They helped me finish packing, labeling, and most importantly did all the heavy lifting. Nothing was broken, damaged or even slightly askew at the end of the move. We had a very complex situation, which involved separating possessions and making thorough inventories, and the Roadway team worked with us all the way using their impeccable packing and moving skills, while ensuring that everything works out the way we need it. Alex was the first one to visit a few weeks in advance, taking inventory of our possessions, giving us the quote and answering all questions. Then, Klaudio stepped in to assist with additional questions (and followed up after the move), Kejsi handled the COIs, and Christian made sure everything was in order the day before the move. Everyone was personable, responsive and helpful throughout.

As the day of the move approached, we became very anxious, but once Ryan’s crew arrived on the day, it was clear we were in good hands.
