I recently used Roadway for a winter move in New York City and had a great experience.

The crew arrived early, worked efficiently, and handled everything with care. They protected my floors, wrapped mirrors thoroughly, and packed my fragile kitchen items properly. Even in freezing temperatures, the team stayed focused and professional.

What I appreciated most was how organized everything felt. They coordinated directly with my building and managed access and security without me having to step in, which significantly reduced stress on move day. They even arrived at the new apartment ahead of schedule.

Overall, the move was fast, careful, and well-managed. I’d absolutely recommend Roadway if you’re looking for a reliable, professional moving company in NYC.

Truly the #1 movers! It was Amy first time working with movers on any of my moves. I felt so pampered. They took care of everything. I was shy because I didn’t finish packing everything but they took care of the unpackaged items and completely finished moving out of my home within 1.5hours. It was incredible! They absolutely did amazing and were very very respectful of my belongings and both residential properties. It was a blast to work with them. They made sure to secure all my pre-packaged items with extra tape. It was INCREDIBLE! If I move again they are 100% the ones I will reach out to first.

The quoting and contracting process with Natasha was absolutely great. She took time to do a virtual walkthrough of our place and the initial inventory was pretty spot on. They also worked with me to get a competitive price against other movers I contacted. She was always available for questions along the way and really helped reassure us of concerns we had for such a long term move.

The pickup experience with the team of Hugo Reyes, Juan, Orlando, and Erick was also excellent. The crew was professional, efficient, and wrapped everything extremely well. I've done one of these moves a few years ago and there was clearly a difference in how much better these guys treat you belongings. Big kudos to the crew for working such a long day and getting it all done on time!

Roadway Moving was incredibly friendly and professional. They helped us with a partial move and finished everything in under two hours. The team was so efficient we barely had to do anything. They packed everything with great care, even our TV. Highly recommend!

Incredible movers. I’ll never move with another company ever again. They’re courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and incredibly hard working. The whole process from start to finish was fantastic. Especially given how stressful moving can be.

Roadway Moving. Leon and his team were wonderful in moving all my items and furniture into my new apartment in San Francisco. They helped unpack all the boxes and reassembled the furniture well. They were efficient and their hard work was thoroughly appreciated.

10/10 for movers doing the physical labor, 0/10 for office staff. Our sales rep pressured us to put a deposit down right away before we could discuss if we even wanted to move forward. We paid it but had little time to figure out cheaper options due to the pressure the sales rep put on us (they wouldn't let us hang up till we paid). Then not only did our furniture take forever to arrive, the customer service rep gave false times multiple times and rarely answered the phone (rep told us movers were 20 min away when movers called and said they were 2 hours away). 2nd and last time we use Roadway, they've gone downhill in the years since. And some of our items were damaged in transit for a 2nd time.

After trial and error with different moving companies over the years, i was hesitant to work with another company. I’ve been misquoted, overcharged in the past but with roadway everything was clear from the beginning. On moving day, everything went so smooth and they were morneeffcne rand fader than the time slotted which made my move overall WAY easier. 5 stars across the board!

Foreman Julio Gonzales, and his crew of Gerber and Alex, did an incredible job of moving us from a fourth floor walk up in Manhattan to a home in snowy Buffalo over the past two days.
They were precisely on time, handled all our packages and furniture with great care and professionalism. They knew exactly what needed to be done. They were very polite and respectful of everyone they met. They worked INCREDIBLY hard. If 5 stars is the highest rating, they deserve Six!

Eugenio, Landys, O’Neill were wonderful. They really worked with a small space and made the moving happen in less than 3 hours. I got lucky and a few things just needed to be wrapped and not packed and it made moving so much faster. I really do appreciate them.

Shout out to Lukas and his crew team, very responsible, kind, respectful, excellent performance, and most important packing all my furnitures with professionalism and appropriately secured them with safety manners and diligence. Roadway is amazing and worth every penny. We did a local Brooklyn move— our 2 bedroom was packed up in under 3 hours. Didn’t lift a finger all day. If you opt for the packing service roadway will assign a mover to each room and they will wrap every single one of your fragile belongings carefully. I have about 30 bottles of perfume and could not believe how carefully they were packed. My clothes and shoes were treated with such care by the lovely Jose who was absolutely fantastic. Our foreman Ismael was an absolute pleasure to work with— efficient, hard working and fun to spend the day with. On the back end the admin and coordinator girls could not have been more helpful and communicative. Thank you Karla, Fabjola, Ilda and Alba for all you help. Genuinely can’t say enough good things about roadway and cannot wait to work with them again!

I cannot recommend Roadway Moving enough. I’ve had terrible experiences with movers in the past (broken items and furniture), so I went into this move already anxious. On top of that, the morning of the move my sister injured her neck, so the day was off to a rough start.

Our movers:Johnny and his team (I never got the other names, sorry!!) were super patient, kind, and understanding right from the beginning. They worked efficiently, packed everything with care, and moved quickly. Honestly, given the circumstances, they made the day go as smoothly as it possibly could.

They turned what could’ve been a nightmare into a genuinely good experience. If you’re dreading moving day or have trust issues with moving companies like I do, this is the team you want. I had a great experience! I was shopping around for different movers and they were the most affordable for the service that I received and on such short notice!

They delivered everything to my new apartment in record time! I was amazed at the speed and care that they displayed when moving my things.

Not to mention that every one that I had contact with from the operators who booked everything to the movers, EVERYONE was polite and patient. I have been telling people to book them if needed because it was a wonderful stress free experience. I will DEFINITELY be booking them again when I move out of state (I moved to a different borough). They were amazing!

Roadway moving surpassed all my expectations! This was my tenth (yes, tenth) time moving in New York City, and it was by far the most seamless. The moving crew was kind and respectful and they packed everything so carefully. Not to mention they were QUICK. In the past, moving has been one of the most exhausting experiences—but with Roadway it was kind of enjoyable? Highly recommend!

It has been 3 years since this review and I’ve just completed yet another move with Roadway. The crew never ceases to amaze me with their hard working attitudes along with being incredibly kind and carrying such a respectful demeanor.

So beyond grateful to have completed another move with this company. The best!

I cannot say enough great things about Roadway Moving. I’ll be the first to admit that moving is a nightmare. The decluttering, packing, moving heavy items, hauling it to the new space, figuring out which box belongs in what room… it’s just not fun. Roadway Moving actually made the move exciting. Marcos and his team were incredible from beginning to end. They showed up charismatic and ready to get to work. They packed everything with the ultimate care, laid out a runway mat to avoid damaging floors while rolling boxing and heavy furniture out, and just all around SO kind and so patient. You can tell they really care about making the customer happy and leaving them stress free. Everything was organized and they were so meticulous and even did a video walk thru at the end to show they packs everything since my boyfriend and I couldn’t be there in person. They genuinely went above and beyond. I can’t imagine ever working with any other moving company again. Roadway Moving is the BEST OF THE BEST.

I moved to our dream home in the middle of the holidays and truly thought I could do it all. Hosting, attending events, packing up an entire apartment, and prepping for a trip to the Philippines all within three weeks. I was fully delusional. It finally hit a point where I was completely overwhelmed, and hiring Roadway Moving ended up being the best decision I made during that season.

I called them, and literally the next day their movers were at our place. From the start, the experience felt seamless and professional. I had them pack our entire home, and I didn’t have to lift a single finger or even be there the whole time. They handled everything with so much care and intention. Every item, every box, everything mattered.

Two movers handled our entire move from apartment to house, and I was honestly blown away by how thoughtful and efficient they were. Even our clothes stayed perfectly hung. I didn’t have to rehang a single thing. I just placed them straight into our new closets. Boxes arrived organized, intact, and exactly where they needed to be.

It was hands down the smoothest move I’ve ever experienced and a major lesson learned for me. Sometimes the best thing you can do is not do it yourself. Roadway took something incredibly stressful and turned it into a total treat. I would trust them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who wants a truly seamless, worry-free move.

I had a great experience with Roadway and will definitely hire them again! I moved out of downtown and even with the awkward streets they were so efficient. They were super sweet and patient with my cat. I also had a lot of dishes and kitchen supplies and was overwhelmed trying to pack everything carefully but they took care of that and also brought plenty of wardrobe boxes so my closet was ready to go right away. Unpacking was also quick, they disassembled and reassembled my bed and put my desk back together so I could get right back into work in the next couple days. They wrapped all my electronics, cat stuff and furniture and we were done in half a day. Amazing job, thank you again!

Roadway Moving is AMAZING!! I can't even begin to describe how much of a stress free cross country move this was. I have alot of very delicate decorations and tech that I was very concerned about when packing. Roadway got rid of any concern I had. They packed things in a careful organized manner and QR coded every box and kept every room as together as possible. My biggest issue with movers was the lack of organization and shoving things in boxes but with roadway I was so happy to feel like they cared about my stuff as much as I did to properly and carefully package everything. Being a control freak (from bad moving experiences) they were very kind and receptive to any direction I had. They were doing such a wonderful job I felt comfortable enough to go run some errands while they did their magic! Thank You Roadway Moving!!!

Roadway did a great job with my second cross country move! The teams on both sides were quick and efficient. I was wrapping Christmas gifts while the team moved me out, they handled everything. I’m so glad I went with Roadway for the second time, they took the stress out of my cross country move and I highly recommend them!

They responded to my booking request quickly, provided all the information I needed to book my move & we’re extremely flexible with my move date! They arrived a little earlier than expected which was appreciated because I was so excited to get started. The movers were extremely professional, polite and handled of all our items with care! They moved quickly but efficiently, and I was so impressed by all of their strategies when it comes to packing certain items like large furniture and TVs. Roadway Moving made our across-the-country move smoother than we could have imagined. Every single item in our home was carefully wrapped, securely packed, and placed into clearly labeled boxes, all of which were scanned and tracked so nothing could be misplaced. The team was organized, professional, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. They will both disassemble and reassemble your furniture. Moving long-distance can be incredibly stressful, but Roadway’s attention to detail and transparent process gave us peace of mind.

We had Edgar managing drop off for us and Steve managing our packing. Both sides of the process were easy and the guys were friendly and careful. Had to deal with a shitty parking situation at our place and they handled it with lots of grace and care. Really appreciate their positive attitudes!

From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. I actually booked Roadway before I even locked in my new apartment so I could get a quote and plan ahead and I’m so glad I did. The team showed up right on time, super friendly, calm, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing.

I packed most of my things ahead of time, but they came fully prepared to handle everything else from artwork and clothes to lamps and the random things you forget about until moving day. They also use a barcode tracking system, so every single item gets scanned before loading and unloading. Honestly, you could walk away and let them handle it all. They just get it.

Efficient, careful, and zero stress. This was hands down the best moving experience I’ve ever had. Roadway is officially my go-to moving company from here on out.

Had a really great experience with Roadway Moving! Jony and his crew packed and moved my apartment interborough within a few hours even with the rainy/sleet-y weather. The whole team communicated consistently and really well throughout the move asking where I wanted things placed, checking what needed to be packed, explaining what they were checking in the walk-throughs and what the paperwork I signed meant. They were professional, efficient and overall super pleasant. My things and the physical spaces were handled carefully and damage-free. They took a really daunting event and made it easy and stressless! Very grateful and happy for my experience with Jony and his crew!!

Roadway Moving made a stressful cross-country move feel completely manageable. From the first call to final delivery, communication was clear, professional, and consistent. My entire life was packed out of a storage unit in L.A. and delivered to Rochester on time and with real care. The crew was efficient, respectful, and treated everything like it mattered. When you need a move handled the right way without added stress, Roadway absolutely delivers.

Dzenis, Advan, and Camillo were the movers I was lucky to get. They arrived on time, answered questions, and made sure everything was accounted for—what was moving and what wasn’t. They assured me we’d be able to pack and move everything on time, since at our new location we needed to finish by 4:30 PM. We managed to do just that and finished on time. I’d use this company again, especially if I get these movers again. 5 stars!

I can’t say enough about Roadway Moving most especially Osvaldo Martinez and his team. We had an interstate move from NY to Connecticut. There is honestly not much more stressful than moving. From when they showed up exactly on time to when they departed, this crew was careful, compassionate, extremely attentive to every detail, helpful and just the nicest guys! Moving is always something I dread, especially living in New York City. Roadway has changed that for me completely. I had 2 of the nicest, sweetest guys help me move and I have never seen people work so efficiently while doing an amazing job and taking care of all of my belongings. They packed all my boxes for me and unpacked my hanging clothes at my new place so I barely had to do anything. They carefully taped screws that were needed for my TV's and Mirror so they could easily be re-mounted at my new spot. I absolutely love Roadway and won't be using another moving company again!

This was THE MOST stress-free move I have ever done. I usually try to do everything myself as I try to save money but also don't always trust 3rd parties to handle everything I own with care. I have some very expensive and fragile items. Roadway moving made it so I didn't have to lift a finger. They inventoried my things via video call and when moving day came, everything was done for me. When I tell you - Roadway changed the way I will move for the rest of my life. I chose a packing service for the first ever and let me tell you - they were THOROUGH (cue me laughing to finding an old contact lens left on my night stand packed). They were nothing but smiles and determination during an LA Rain move. My rate did end up going up in the end due to needing more boxes and some delicate items, but honestly it was worth it. Everything arrived same day, boxes brought in, and furniture rebuilt within 2 hours. Awesome.

I’m writing this review because my experience with Roadway Moving in NY, and especially with their representative Danny Abehssera, was extraordinary. I rarely write reviews, and I only do so when a company shows a level of professionalism, honesty, and care that stands out. Roadway did exactly that.Before choosing them, I looked into several companies. One in particular advertised an impressive “white glove” service, but after multiple conversations I discovered that many of their claims didn’t hold up. Their “wood crates” were actually cardboard boxes made from cut-up packing materials, and their “secure overnight facility” turned out to be a motel. That was enough for me to step away.Roadway was different from the very beginning. Their reputation and the way they handle feedback gave me confidence, but it was my interaction with Danny that truly set them apart. During the virtual walkthrough, he addressed my concerns with a level of openness I hadn’t seen elsewhere. He explained exactly what my move required, including a temporary stop, and immediately gave me the address of the secure warehouse. I verified the information myself and appreciated the transparency.What impressed me even more was Danny’s sensitivity to the circumstances I was dealing with at the time. Without me needing to explain much, he understood that this move required not just logistics but care and steadiness. He assigned a highly skilled packing team normally reserved for complex or high-profile moves, and it made a tremendous difference.Danny reviewed every item in advance, sent a detailed follow-up, and responded quickly to every email. I'm sure we can all agree that moving is typically never a fun experience but if you are going to move, Roadway is the only way to go. I have used several moving companies in the past but Roadway made our move as simple and stress free as possible. The movers were very professional and efficient and provided everything from wardrobe boxes, to packing services, to the cleanest move I have ever experienced with zero damage to our belongings and property. I cannot thank these guys enough for making our move an enjoyable process and I almost want to move again just to hire Roadway (almost) :)

Mo's Team was by far the best moving experience I've ever had. They were incredibly nice, professional, quick and easy to work with. I couldn't recommend Roadway enough and especially Mo's Team. Really appreciated them being flexible with any additional items, helping with disassembly and reassembly, packing everything safely, nicely and overall being knowledgeable about apartments, neighborhoods, and coordinating with the Super Intendent in each building.

I worked with Roadway Moving again and I enjoyed the move again!

The team was great! It was a super quick process to get the move scheduled. This time I got my own boxes but when the movers came they bought some extra boxes for lamps, tables and other larger items. I did a move to a storage unit, and I was not expecting the amount of love and care the team brought. The move team made sure that everything was covered to the inch, as there could be insects in the unit. From the queen mattress which was double bagged and then put in a box to the even small artwork, the team made sure all my items would be protected while in storage. I also love how friendly the team is. They are timely, quick, professional, and made sure to make me feel comfortable and rest assured that all my things were in good hands.

I appreciate the whole Roadway Moving team and want to thank them for another wonderful move!

Between New York, New Jersey, Miami and Pennsylvania I have moved countless times, all more painful than the last. This time, moving with a baby and a puppy seemed like the greatest challenge of them all. If all moving experiences were like mine today with Eugenio and his team, people would be MUCH more inclined to try out new places to live. I can’t express my gratitude loudly enough. I was so impressed with how diligently, and with expertise, Eugenio led this move. I truly feel confident, for the first time, that all of my boxes will be opened to find items in perfect condition. While it was an expensive option, you can’t always put a price on peace of mind. They were thoughtful, patient, extremely thorough and kind. Will be telling all my friends. 10/10 recommend.

The office staff were helpful and flexible (Momo), also Nancy was fantastic, as were the other two guys (sorry I don't remember their names). The delivery in Massachusetts was also five-star. Moved from Brooklyn, NY to Chicago, IL and also had the Roadway team do the packing. Efficient move, good communication throughout and they accommodated a last minute change to the arrival window which was much appreciated. Everything arrived in perfect condition and both the pick up and delivery teams were a pleasure to work with.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! The team was so clear about the moving plan and gave me a window of 9–10 a.m.—they arrived right at 9:15, which I appreciated since other companies I’ve used gave such large windows that made planning impossible. They got to work immediately and handled everything efficiently. None of my items were damaged, and once we arrived at my new place, they placed everything exactly where I asked.

I recently moved locally in LA and I was always skeptical about having movers handle all my tech gear and heavier furniture, but Roadway Moving went above and beyond during this move. They packed everything carefully (Especially the fragile ones). The movers were so kind, organized, and professional. When it comes to bigger furniture, they took it apart, but also put them together in your desired spot at your new home. They really made sure I didn't have to do any of the heavy lifting and that everything was in good condition before they left. Will definitely hire them again for my next move! Highly reccomend!

I just did my move with Roadway today. My husband and I tried our best packing ourselves, but when Johnny and his team came today it was like the calvary. These guys were fantastic and on top of their game. They were friendly and fast. I can’t say enough great things. When my family and I first moved to our former home, we hired a neighborhood moving firm. Our furniture was damaged including a broken leg on my 2 year old couch. These took great care of our things including pointing out things that I didn’t realize that were there. I definitely would recommend them to family and friends.

I’ve used Roadway for my last two moves so at this point it’s a no brainer. They moved my whole two bedroom apartment in the blink of an eye and were able to assist with any extra scheduled services I needed. The main reason I continue to use a roadway is because the men they employ are genuinely so nice and make the whole experience something that doesn’t need to be questioned— they just get it done. Not one missing or damaged item. 10/10!

A great crew from the inside out. From the moment I spoke to the surveyor, I knew I was in the right hands.

He made sure to detail everything that I had, and because I had started packing before, he still let me know that we would include some wardrobe boxes and other things just in case.

He was also generally just a cool person. Felt a lot less anxious because while we were getting the logistics together, we were able to laugh about our interest.

After they got me a quote, their turnaround time was absolutely mind-boggling. I genuinely was so afraid that I was just gonna have to start from scratch and just avoid the stress. But they made sure they were on top of everything and got back to me in such a timely manner.

In 48 hours they were able to get me a quote, and get the movers at my front door to move me.

On the day of the move all the movers were so kind.They didn’t ask for anything. I was insistent on buying them lunch, but even then they were so chill about it. They worked around my cats that were at my old apartment, we laughed about their cats.

When we made it to the secondary location, they even helped me handle some stressful last-minute problems. Working with their internal team, they all conduct themselves with so much kindness. I hope I don’t have to move for a while, but if I do will definitely reach out again.

Roadway Moving is the BEST moving service I've ever used. After five moves living in LA, this one was by far my BIGGEST yet EASIEST, all thanks to the fantastic, kind, and hardworking crew from Roadway. They were so mindful of protecting my floors and items throughout the journey. All of my paintings and mirrors were pristine. And they wrapped my entire couch AND mattress?!?!? The best part is that they disassembled and reassembled some of my pieces, like my bed frame. I fear I will never use any other moving service again if it ain't Roadway! BRAVO!

Roadway movers didn't listen to my repeated instructions and packed kitchen items that needed to be treated for pests in with our other boxes, potentially resulting in contamination in our new apartment. I found the rest of their service to be professional and accommodating, but because of this grievous error, I would never recommend this company to those I know. For the price, you should hire a local company.

Working with Roadway Moving was truly the best moving experience I’ve ever had. I’ve moved a lot and Roadway made this process soooo easy. Easily the best moving experience we've ever had. Our three Roadway guys were the absolute A team — they were so sweet and insanely efficient, they made what we'd assumed would be a stressful day really easy and relaxed. Nothing was a big deal, not our heavy vintage credenza or oversized art or our huge, awkward plants. Everything arrived at our new perfectly, and we got through the move so much quicker than expected. Roadway was PHENOMENAL! My husband and I were doing a long distance move from Albany, New York down to Marietta, Georgia. From the very beginning - the team was incredible. The communication was quick, thorough, and clear. On moving day, the team came in right on time according to the moving window. The team was very sweet and made sure to take immense care of our things. They laid down blue carpets to protect the floors, and strategically worked through our apartment to pack all of our things. We are in the busiest season of our lives: recent weddings, dance competitions, building businesses - so the fact they packed EVERYTHING was beyond helpful. It felt like a normal work day. I will never go back to moving the old way again. They got our stuff safely down to Georgia - nothing was broken - and unloaded everything into the respective rooms in the house. I've moved with Roadway twice now - once between two apartments in Manhattan, and once long-haul from North Carolina to Long Island (both including them packing). They are the best in the business: not a single thing is ever broken; they are fast & efficient, but never rushing or hasty; they are extremely communicative and punctual; and they are polite, thorough, and help you arrange your furniture how you want it (even when you change your mind after the first place you had them put something!). They legitimately make it a stress-free move: I changed nothing in my lifestyle up until the day before the move, when I just packed an overnight suitcase for myself, and let the movers do their thing. I can't speak highly enough of Roadway — they really are a game-changer for moving.

Roadway is THE BEST hands down. Moving cross country was really intimidating for me but they made the process so easy and seamless!! I seriously couldn't have done it without them. We moved from NY to California. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like without Roadway. They came to our 3 story house in NY and over the course of a day and well into the evening packed everything that we had not already packed so beautifully that, when the furniture, etc. came less than 2 weeks later, everything was in perfect shape! Once here in CA, they unpacked the biggest pieces and moved them carefully into our 1200 sq ft new home and, of course, into the garage. Everything was labeled so well that we were able to organize ourselves and our stuff within another 2 weeks. Worth every dollar that we spent!

Moved from Santa Monica to Hollywood with Roadway and had a super easy experience. We had a virtual estimate to put together an inventory checklist and estimate how many boxes I might need, then they day of the move I got a text where I could track my movers as they were on their way. Everything was Roadway from the truck, movers, to boxes. My movers were super efficient securely packing everything I had and labeled boxes as they went (“coffee machine” “cleaning supplies” “living room linens” etc) so unpacking was as straightforward as possible. I can’t say how good of a deal they were since this was my first time working with movers, but if you’re in a position where you’d rather save yourself the stress and pain of taking furniture apart, reassembling, and packing all your miscellaneous items, definitely consider Roadway and their packing service.

As always, Roadway made the entire moving process absolutely seamless. From the moment they arrived to carefully pack up my home, it was clear I was in expert hands.
