Extremely happy I did the right thing by choosing Roadway Moving to be my movers!! Long distance moves can feel stressful and vulnerable, especially while working on a tight timeline and hearing stories of dishonest moving companies out there charging all kinds of hidden fees and holding valuables hostage... So, I knew I had to go with the most reputable company I could find. The entire process, from getting quotes to moving days, was very efficient; their moving coordinators checked in on my inventory updates, and I received constant communication from Roadway, keeping me posted on the status of my items. My new building had strict moving requirements, and Roadway handled all of it perfectly. This is the first move where I did not have to lift a finger, and I am relieved to see all of my furniture arrive safely from all of the layers of packing. They even handled some of my oddly shaped vintage furniture with loads of care, and disassembled + reassembled everything. Roadway was AMAZING in my move from SoCal to Oregon. I was worried about my items not making it quickly due to the fires happening at the time, but Roadway still arrived only 48 hours after I did. They packed everything up so efficiently and loaded the truck so fast, and when they arrived it took under 30 minutes for them to unload my 15 boxes. They were so kind and silly and made the experience so fun! 10/10 would recommend.

I cannot recommend Roadway moving enough! From going through inventory ahead of the move to the actual move itself, I always felt like I was in good hands. I opted to do a partial packing and on the day of the move, the guys came in and worked their magic making sure everything was handled with the utmost care. if you're thinking about having them pack for you, it should be a major yes, especially if you're a busy professional looking to catch-up on work, etc. 11/10

Arturo and his crew went above and beyond to help me on my move day. The day before, they scout out both locations to make sure they can find ideal spots to park the truck. On the day, they came early, packed everything professionally, and when it comes to unpacking, they made sure to unpack the baby room items first (parents will understand). They even re-did our bed (I can assure you no other movers will do this). Then when they saw that our dogs were scared they went to look for and unpack the dog beds and toys and found our lamp so that I can have light since we don't have lighting in the new place yet. Finally, they spent so much extra effort moving boxes to where they should be so that unpacking is easier for us.

They are friendly, courteous, and above all, so thoughtful with how they can make the day easy for us.

I did two major moves using roadway and the team made it such an easy process. Their efficiency and communication were the highlights of my move.i personally would use them time and time again because they insure protection over all items and continued to be mindful of the entire home. They unmounted TVs , disassembled furniture, and kept everything organized. I’ve used Broadway for three separate moves and I wouldn’t want it any other way. They are the most efficient when it comes to packing. They make sure my things are packed well and protected. Roadway always delivers satisfactory every time. They helped me move from Brooklyn to Manhattan and then Manhattan to Los Angeles and now Los Angeles to another location in Los Angeles.

Roadway was an absolute lifesaver, packing our 2 bedroom apartment in a matter of hours. They were so thorough (unmounted our TV and shelves, wrapped all our ceramics, took out our AC units) and moved everything so quickly despite having a walkup on both ends. They disassemble and re-assemble your bedframes so your rooms are immediately good to sleep in for the night, and the movers were so kind and professional in response to all my little requests. I'll absolutely be using them for my future moves - don't think I can ever go back to packing and moving myself!

Due to a last minute job change my husband and I had 3 weeks to move from New York to Florida… all while I’m 9 months pregnant. This was my first time ever using a moving company and after this experience I can say with total confidence that Roadway set the bar VERY high and I cannot imagine having done this without them. We used roadway to move across the country from Seattle to New York City and I was very happy with the experience. I’ve hired movers in the past and roadway provided the most comprehensive level of service and communication. Joe was responsive and helpful getting me a quote for my items, which was lower than many others I received and competitively priced. I was assigned a move coordinator who checked in with me before, during, and after the move. The movers themselves were excellent. Walter and Alex packed up my items with more care than any other movers have in the past and didn’t leave any damage to my home. Unpacking was just as easy, only took two hours, and my times arrived well within the timeline they gave me (took about 2 weeks from Seattle to NYC). None of our items broke and they provided all the documentation I needed for our nyc apartment such as COI. I look forward to using roadway again when we eventually move back to the west coast!

Moving can be such a pain and STRESSFUL, but the Roadway team made the whole experience a breeze. Communication is key, and the team was on it every step of the way. We started with a super informative and helpful intro call to go over the specifics of my move. The team delivered the perfect amount of boxes and packing materials in advance so I could get everything packed up. They also very efficiently got me the certificate of insurance that my new building required. When it came to the actual move day, the team showed up early and motivated, despite it being one of the coldest days of the year thus far. They expertly disassembled furniture and packed artwork for me, and then got everything loaded into the truck with the utmost care and precision. Then a quick drive over the bridge and everything came into my new apartment smoothly. Our dining room table wouldn't fit in the elevator so the team carried it up to the NINTH floor and didn't break a sweat. They reassembled furniture, unpacked artwork, and took away some boxes and packing materials. The whole thing happened so fast and smoothly that there wasn't a single moment of stress. I recently decided on roadway moving for a cross-state move and was disappointed. The sales representative gave me a quote with a promise of no additional charges, but I ended up paying over $500 in surcharges. Throughout the preparation and moving process, I received multiple phone calls from their team, and every time, it involved a surcharge, which was exhausting.

A floor lamp went missing during the move, and I received no updates even after reaching out many times.

On the positive side, the packing team was very professional and handled furniture with care.

I needed to move from Atlanta to Los Angeles with less than a month’s notice! This would not have been possible with the amazing people at Roadway! The customer service was phenomenal. They were so accommodating and happy to help!

They packed up my 2 bedroom apartment and moved me within the city. This was the first move I made where nothing broke. Nothing - not a single item was broken when I unpacked it. That's service!! They disassembled my king bed, unmounted my TV/bookshelves and took legs off of my desks/chairs and TV consoles and reassembled in my new apartment (sans mounting). Everything inside the boxes was wrapped meticulously - maybe that's why nothing broke! Each box was labeled with the contents or what room it belonged to and the team placed the boxes in their respective rooms so it was extremely easy finding my belongings! Along with the packing, they laid down protective materials so that nothing would get damaged within either apartments. I can't recommend Roadway Moving enough. After getting multiple quotes for my cross country move from NY to LA, myself and my family decided to go with Roadway based on their seemingly stellar reviews. But as usual things are not what they seem.One of the few boxes The company packed for us was so poorly packed that our very nice coffee machine was crushed and ruined . We informed the movers packing it was a very expensive machine , and they proceeded to throw it in a box with no protection or packaging. When it made it the LA it was ruined . The foreman in LA of the movers (Who were otherwise pretty good) informed us he was in a slack chat with the owner of the company and told us he will take care of the broken machine. He said submit the paperwork for the broken item, which we did. Now the coffee machine is worth $800. In the end the company offered us about 200$. Now while I'd understand if we packed the machine this would be our issue. But the company packed this machine in their box. If you are at all using Roadway , just be aware if they say they are packing something and it's expensive, if anything happens to the item you will be out of Luck

UPDATE. The company has reached out, and is paying for the replacement of the machine.

I requested their full service packing and I was so impressed. You give them an inventory breakdown and they bring all of the boxes you will need. Milanko, Roberto and Milan individually wrapped everything and labeled every box. With this service you don’t have to lift a finger. When we arrived to the new apartment they placed the labeled boxes into their specified rooms to make unpacking super easy.

Such a stress free moving experience. They came and packed everything with care and was very efficient with time. Then drove to the new place and placed the furniture in a great way for me to begin to unpack. Super kind and communicative the entire process as well.

I used Roadway Moving Company for a recent local move in New York City, and am so glad I chose them. They were easy to work with from start to finish. They delivered boxes of all sizes and packing materials two weeks ahead of the move, which was a huge help. They called the week of the move to confirm all of the details, and were quick to respond to any follow-up questions I had via email. They arrived on time the day of the move, and were friendly and efficient. Our boxes were handled with care, and they took their time wrapping our furniture. Not a single item was damaged during the move which is a first for me! They stayed to help assemble the furniture at the new apartment, and helped to break down boxes as we were unpacking. I would use them again for my next move in a heartbeat.

Words can't express just how unbelievably grateful I am to Roadway Moving for making my California Dreaming a reality! I recently moved across the country from NYC to LA and couldn't think of a better moving crew to make this move with! I was so impressed by Roadway's careful packing, thorough inventory lists, attention to detail, and their kindness and understanding throughout the whole process!

I absolutely loved their inventory system because I got to watch them meticulously label each of my items with a unique barcode including my name and route- so none of my things would be misplaced on their journey. Upon their arrival/delivery, they even gave me a printed out inventory list where I could follow along as the movers checked off their own electronic inventory list as well! My favorite moment of my move was the unboxing of all my items in my new place and seeing that not one of my things were lost or damaged!! I was especially happy that my beautiful amethyst geodes were transported perfectly from one coast to the other- not an easy task but Roadway did it perfectly! Sending a huge THANK YOU to the whole Roadway Moving team for making this move as stress free as can be! If I could give you guys more than 5 stars, I would!

As a solo girl, moving can be incredibly stressful with all the heavy lifting, packing, and cleaning. I was so relieved to finally sit back and relax when my Roadway team arrived. I opted for self-boxing to get rid of some things I didn’t want to take with me. I had a couple of items left to pack, and they took all the work out of my hands. They came with extra boxes and supplies I had forgotten, and even relabeled my boxes with their own system, making it easier to identify everything. I am using their storage for the summer, and I am confident my belongings are safe and sound. Only move with them if you want a stress-free moving experience! Thank you, Roadway.

I spoke with Ken on the phone and he was great with working out a quote based on pictures and was very understandable and supporting in this stressful time. I had to reschedule my move last minute and they were very flexible and accommodating. They sent a great team- Bratislav and his team were like ninjas packing up my stuff!! I asked repeatedly if there was anyway I could help and they told me just to sit back and relax (things that are never associated with moving)! They were very careful and efficient. I was dreading moving in NYC because of all the horror stories but these guys made the process extremely smooth. I’m so grateful to have found Roadway! Looking to request this team specifically for my move to my new space soon 😊 this was the first company I called and will be the only ones I trust with my moves in the future. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

The last time I moved 10 years ago I didn’t have professional help. I just had my friends family packing their cars and prayinggg we could carry the heavy stuff together. And as if moving isn’t stressful enough, my Father needed to have an emergency surgery the same week as my move. So needless to say I had a lot on my shoulders on top of the decade worth of boxes and emotional weight of change. I really didn’t know how i was going to get through this but Roadway showed up today and lifted all the weight off my shoulders as if they were my family (Carlos, my Dad says thank you) Genuinely I wasn't expecting this level of care but l'm so grateful and relieved that I'm getting emotional writing this lol. They went above and beyond with compassion and professionalism. Hopefully I don’t need to move again soon but if I do, there’s no question of who I’m calling.

Used Roadway for a very local move in Miami last week. Discovered after unpacking that we had three parcels missing, two of which are artwork. Have called Roadway multiple times to no avail with no updates on the status of this search or claim. Extremely disappointed in this customer service, will absolutely not be using again.
UPDATE: Customer service did reach out and their solution was to provide me with a measly sum of money after this total breach in my safety and security after their crew stole from me. In total between the move and stolen items, I lost $15,000 in this move and they went "above and beyond" to refund me $1000. This company is a joke and completely fraudulent. Stay far away!!!!!!!!!!!!
