This was a 10/10 experience. I got the full packing service, and it was a game changer - made my whole moving process stress free! Not one item was damaged during the move! They even put my bed together and my mattress in a mattress box so it wouldn’t get dusty on the truck. The attention to detail and care is amazing, highly recommend! I will only be moving with Roadway in the future! Thank you so much!

I just had Roadway move me out today of my New York City walk up apartment in East Village. They made the move so seamless. The guys were super nice and professional they truly know what they’re doing. They did everything so fast yet meticulously packed everything perfectly and with so much care. PRINCESS TREATMENT MOVING: The roadway team goes above and beyond. My roommate and I had a last minute move so we really needed the hands on help. Roadway was amazing. They packed everything, wrapped everything (and I mean everything) even packed our closets so when we got to the new place it was an easy transfer. All three movers were super kind and really went out of their way to ask questions about where we wanted our belongings and how we liked them where they were. Each box was categorized correctly and easy to sort through. We somehow filled an entire truck and they still handled everything seamlessly! I would 100% encourage you to use roadway if you're easily stressed or know you'll need assistance completing a move (added bonus: they're great with working around your pets and packing boxes without worrying your fur baby)

I needed help moving from nyc to LA and tapped Roadway to help. They did a phenomenal job, taking meticulous detail to note all of our boxes to make sure we didn’t lose anything during transit and did a great job packing everything with great care. I’ve used them before for moves in NYC but this was the first time doing a cross country one and they still maintained the same professionalism and quality as they did in local moves. Highly recommend!

The most stress free move EVER! I’ve moved about 15 times in my life and I have never felt in better hands than with Roadway! They protected the doors and floor, packed everything so carefully, and they were just so fun and kind to be around. I’m never using another company again, I’m so glad I found Roadway!

I underestimated how much I had, but the team was super accommodating with extra boxes and helping me pack and wrap a few last-minute things.

A lot of my items are vintage + fragile and they took *such* good care of packing them up and ensuring a safe delivery. Even my plants, which I really appreciated.

I couldn’t believe how fast the team was and we got all of my items moved out in an hour and a half, with the total move only taking 4 hours.

As a single woman who also isn’t super handy, I appreciated that Jesus and his team set up my TV for me and also my bed.

I never thought the easiest part of my long distance move would be the actual move. Roadway was so easy to work with and they were incredibly efficient in packing my apartment. When it came time to deliver my items, they worked with my schedule and made sure to follow up after to ensure it was a smooth delivery. A lot of my friends have been raving about roadway honestly over the last couple of years. When it was time for me to move out, Roadway was the first company I reached out to and thank goodness I did! They were so kind, efficient and packed everything I own up so fast even the fine China from the kitchen. Easiest move of my life and I truly didn’t even have to prep much for it.

Everything went perfectly! I was so worried something would be damaged, but the crew was very careful with packing/handling and everything was delivered in perfect condition. 100% recommend! I moved from Houston, TX to Los Angeles, CA. I was given the delivery date range of June 22-July 10, and the movers came on June 22nd! Everyone involved was very kind and friendly.

Roadway and Robert's team have been AMAZING!! This was by far the easiest move I've ever done as they packed everything with so much attention and care and were so fast!! I have moved a lot and I would highly recommend using Roadway and the packing service as they did such a great job and saved me at least a few days and a huge headache.

I was so nervous about moving out of my five story walk up but Roadway Moving made it the most SEAMLESS experience EVER!! I felt supported from beginning to end, they checked in with me multiple times regarding how many items needed to be moved, if I needed to make any modifications, etc. I actually had to reschedule my move in date to earlier because I signed a lease much earlier than expected, and they were able to accommodate a change to move ASAP (only a few days out).

They came on time, packed everything up for me, took apart large furniture pieces (wrapping all valuables up nicely) and were so efficient in moving everything to the truck. When they arrived at my new apartment, they put all my furniture pieces back together and arranged the rooms to my liking for me. The entire move from end to end took about 3 hours, which was crazy and totally impossible without their expertise.

I would recommend Roadway to anybody in NYC. I understand moving on your own is a nightmare otherwise!

My fiancé and I recently moved from NYC across the country to CA and we heard about Roadway through social media reviews, but were completely blown away by the quality of service and speed of the move. They dropped off packing tape and boxes to our apartment a week in advance so we would have plenty of time to pack, and they were responsive (text/email/phone) through the weeks and days leading up to the move to ensure we were all set for the move day and had everything we needed. When they arrived the morning of the move, they arrived 30 minutes early and waited patiently outside to ensure they'd find street parking in NYC, and they were seriously in and out in an hour. They carefully wrapped art, broke down furniture, and labeled all of our boxes to make for an easy move in to our new place. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!

I recently hired Roadway Moving Services for my local move from Downtown Brooklyn to Clinton Hill, and I am pleased to say that my experience with them was excellent!! I used them from my last move from Manhattan to BK. From start to finish, Roadway Moving displayed professionalism, efficiency, and special care, making my move an stress-free and seamless process.

First and foremost, the communication with Roadway Moving Services was outstanding. From the moment I contacted them for a quote, my moving coordinator patiently answered all my questions.

On the day of the move, the moving crew arrived early, provided me with extra packing materials (I ran out of tape and they were able to seal my boxes), and loaded the truck in half an hour (shoutout to Daniel!). Definitely felt like my items were protected and secured.

Once we arrived at my new apartment, the movers quickly unloaded the truck and assembled my bed frame and placed the furniture in the layout I wanted. Not a single item was damaged or lost during the move.

We recently moved our family of five in Connecticut, and hiring Roadway was the best decision EVER. They were on time, courteous, funny, and best of all they were like packing ninjas! I couldn’t believe how quickly everything got packed up and loaded. And we had SO much stuff.

Not even one item was broken in transit, from furniture to the smallest and most delicate dish- every single thing was handled with so much care. They even helped us move new furniture that had just been delivered to our new home up the stairs to its spot.

I have had some really awful moving experiences so maybe I’m extra appreciative of Roadway’s level of customer service and expertise, but I think they are worth every penny. 5 stars!!!

We decided to hire Roadway for a local move after having an amazing experience moving cross-country in the past. Needless to say it was the right decision.

We moved with Roadway in Florida about 40min away. They were exactly on time and the whole crew was extremely clean and efficient. They took extra care to completely wrap all furniture items 100%, even our couch, to ensure that nothing would get damaged in transport. At the destination they then unwrapped everything and took all the packing materials with them, saving us from having to navigate that after just moving in. 100% would recommend!

For as stressful & complex as cross country moves can be, this was hands down the best moving experience I’ve ever had. Starting from weeks before the move, to the day of the move and the day of delivery, communication with the Roadway team was stellar.

They were punctual, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. I wanted to help throughout the packing & delivery process but the Roadway moving team very kindly told me to not lift a finger so I did my best to stay out of their way :’)

I recently moved with Roadway and was genuinely blown away with how professional and promt the team was. They arrived at my home on time, the team was very polite and respectful. They were very careful and mindful of all of my items and delivered every piece in tact. I live alone and was really intimidated about the move but Roadway really took care of everything from packing additional items that I didn’t get to on time, to providing additional tape, boxes and paper to protect fragile items. This is our second time using Roadway for a move and they were amazing. Roadway saved our LIVES with this move. My roommate and i are both young women in our early twenties and we had no access to a cars or truck that would help us move our heavier furniture. There was a difference of about 100 blocks between our old and new apartments so to say it would have been hopeless is an understatement. Roadway came in and packed up our goods with ease and care, making sure to carefully wrap all fragile items before packing them away. They hung up our clothes and wrapped our computers/TV. From the initial calls, were they ask what I own in order to determine the best way to proceed, to the packing of the furniture. Roadway Movers has taken all the stress out of moving in NYC. Being my 5th move in the city, I had to do this one alone and I was nervous. Roadway Movers were checking in on me every step of the way and I never felt alone. They sent over the perfect number of boxes the week of so that I could get packing for my Friday morning move. They had a tracking system so you could see where the truck was morning of and while it was brining my stuff to my new place. Once they arrived, they were the most friendly group of people who got right to work. They were in and out of both of my places in under 2 hours and handled all of my things with care. I had a bed that I didnt know how to take apart, but they did it for me AND put it back together at the new place. I also had a follow up call with my move organizer which was great to see them checking in even after the move!

The best part was, I didn't lift a finger!

My father and I had an amazing experience with our actual movers, Milan Babaic and Vladimir Stojanomc. They were exceptional. My dad was so impressed by how careful and meticulous Milan was of packing his valuables. (It is not easy to impress my father!) They arrived at my house, so friendly and warm, and were very careful with every thing they moved in and careful of my house. They didn't just want to dump it here and take off like most movers. They wanted to make sure that everything looked good and worked correctly before they left. WOW! When Milan saw that a table was wobbly because of the floor, he put a paper underneath it so that it would be flat. Vladimir assured me that whatever I needed, they would do to make sure I was happy. No amount of work was too much. They took apart my old bed and brought it outside for me--not part of their job. I didn't ask, they just did it as they could see it needed to be done. I can't imagine better movers and I hope they are commended. The only negative was dealing with Alex, in sales. He did not respond much to texts and I had to text him multiple times to learn what time they were coming to my house. Maybe Milan and Vladimir need to be promoted because they definitely know something about quality and service!

Moving can be very overwhelming. I don’t do it very often. But my experience with Roadway Moving changed the game. They took care of everything including prepping, packing and moving. Hands down the best movers I’ve used in LA. Roadway came highly recommended from friends in NY and their LA location held up to the reputation. The movers (Cesar, Humberto & Anahel) showed up exactly on time, packed everything with notable care and efficiency, and really just made my move as seamless as possible.

Roadway moving was the best!! We just hired them for our long-distance move from Jersey City to Miami and I couldn't be happier.

They were super communicative, even before our move. The week of, we got a call to let us know what to expect. The morning of, we were sent a tracker, so we could see how far out the team was. And they got to our apartment in Jersey City right on time. The team was kind, professional, organized, and efficient. They carefully wrapped up our bigger items, like our Peloton and TV. And cleaned up after themselves.

A week later our stuff arrived in Miami. The crew there was just as good! They made sure to ask what boxes/furniture went where, which made unpacking super easy.

this was our 2nd time with roadway and we can say hands down, the most stress-free moving experience. if you are wondering if you should have them pack AND move, do not hesitate and go for it! moving is already such an inconvenience, roadway does the work for you! they were such experts at packing, their crew came in and took care of everything! we just went out for breakfast, a workout and met them at our new home to direct where the furniture goes. yes, it was that simple. we will never move without roadway.

I just used Roadway Movers for my recent local move in San Francisco from The Marina to Cole Valley. They were AMAZING. It was door to door service, they came at 9:30am and packed everything up. And when I say everything, I mean everything: closets, kitchen, glasses, artwork, oversized items, etc. They were incredibly careful to put down mats to protect the floors. The RoadWay team took exceptional care with delicate and valuable items, you can see how well they wrapped the golf clubs. They cleaned up after as well and took all of the trash. It was door to door service. We were completely moved into our new house and unpacked by 4:30pm the same day. We didn't have to lift a finger. We both worked the entire day and just hung out. I cannot recommend enough, 100% worth the price and will be using again for our next move!

Roadway was an absolute blessing when it came to my move and so happy that I chose their services! This is the first time I’ve had to handle a long distance move out of the city by myself and Roadway made it so seamless and effortless. Being in the fashion industry I have a lot of clothes and items in general, and having to tackle the packing by myself was very daunting, but Roadway and their crew handled everything.

The best movers! It’s the first time I’ve ever had a smooth and seamless move. They were excellent, specifically their packing services!—a move game changer. They took my furniture apart and reassembled it perfectly in the new apartment, carried my couch down 8 flights of stairs because it didn’t fit in the elevator and brought up about 20+ boxes by hand in the new apartment when the elevator went out! All with smiles on their faces. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.

In full transparency, I have PTSD from my last move, when I moved from LA to NYC. The move was ethically and financially completely unjust. It also left me without 50% of my belongings (as they were lost and/or shattered). This being said, I'm sure you can imagine how hesitant I was to move again, albeit only 5 blocks away. I've seen many of my friends use Roadway, and I knew why as soon as I called for a quote. The agent, Nick, was so accommodating and caring to my needs - going as far as notating the most fragile items to be moved, for peace of mind that a terrible move would not happen to me twice!

I am happy to report that my move with Roadway was seamless. It was actually enjoyable! The movers showed up on time, they wrapped everything they could in reusable blankets and recyclable paper (instead of plastic bubble wrap!) and they were very careful with packing. In fact, my coats looked like they were packed by a department store :)

Additionally, I have a broken arm, of which the movers were so supportive. They partially packed my home, labeled all the boxes and fully delivered just like the agent originally slated. They were also super sweet with my dog and a move coordinator checked in with me every step of the way throughout the day.

I am so grateful for Roadway! 10/10 recommend. My only qualm? The fact that I did not work with Roadway for my cross country move, too! Thank you Roadway, for bringing back support and care to the highly dreaded 'moving day'.

Roadway Moving made our cross country move the easiest move I’ve ever experienced (and I have moved A LOT)!

From start to finish, they helped guide us along the entire moving process. A couple of weeks leading up to the big day, we connected with our moving coordinator, Shawnise. She was amazing — she alleviated so much of our stress surrounding the move. She answered any questions that came up, confirmed our moving location logistics, and helped with any last minute changes.

On the actual moving day, a Roadway Moving team of 3 came in to quickly pack up our 2 BR 2 BA apartment. They were super friendly, communicative, and efficient. They treated everything with so much care! We have a custom-made Kumiko bench that was a wedding gift from a friend — and they made sure to secure it well by triple wrapping it and protecting the corners. They also triple wrapped all of our furniture pieces and carefully handled the packing of our more fragile possessions like our paintings, artisan lamps, and some of my framed travel photography pieces.

10/10 would recommend Roadway Moving to anyone who wants a stress-free move. I’m so grateful that we went with them!

They packed everything securely and all furniture/valuables were double wrapped for protection. They moved so quickly and made the day feel like a breeze. They took care of us, and we took care of them, because quite frankly, I would not have been able to do it without them.

Initial meeting was great, salesperson navigated us through the virtual tour. They did forget to add a few things to the invoice but waived 50 dollars from it which was nice.

However they underestimated the invoice by ~200 dollars. During pickup everything went smoothly. However, during dropoff they seemed to be rushing haphazardly through our new house, causing scratches and dents in multiple places. Had to tell them repeatedly that the desk comes apart and to not try to fit it through the door. They ignored me and damaged another wall. They had to then disconnect the legs like I said in the beginning. To top it off, they forgot to drop off our two large indoor garbage/recycle bins. We didn't notice as they rushed through the item inventory check (we had the afternoon slot so it seemed like they were trying to go home), until we started unpacking. I emailed them once we found out, and they never replied. They were receptive during and before the move. I would not recommend.

Roadway provided me with the absolute best experience with moving I have ever had. I used another company to move me from Alabama to LA and that was a big mistake. A lot of my things went missing and it was just a horrible experience. So this time when I moved locally in LA I hired Roadway and they were AMAZING!

I packed nothing! I woke up like a regular day and it was moving day. They arrived on time and came and packed everything. If I stood still too long I thought they were going to pack me lol! They were so professional and cared about my things and my family. We have great conversation during the process and they honestly made me feel like they cared about me, my life and my things all getting to my new home safely.

I recently just used Roadway Moving and I kid you not, I have never in my life have had a better experience than I did with this company. Even before my actual move day, I had two company representatives who really guided me through the whole process and made sure I was going to have enough boxes, etc., and that I was comfortable or there to answer any questions. I truly just kept thanking everyone and reiterating I’ve never had a company this organized and helpful. On actual move in day the 4 guys came in and were so nice and respectful and HELPFUL, they packed up my whole kitchen (plates, silverware, etc)- we didn’t touch one thing + they put all my hanging clothes into hanging packing boxes, it was amazing. They had my whole entire apartment packed up in just 3 hours and my new apartment they had everything like my couch, bed, bookshelves all put together and in place and everything moved in just 2 hours. Roadway Moving absolutely exceeded any expectations I could've had for a moving company. Robert Lopez and his team were very professional. They arrived right on time and started packing away some of the remaining items so fast. I have never had such an easy move. The team took care of wrapping all of our furniture and the packing option we chose for our kitchen wares was expertly done. Really, they wrapped all our items with a lot of care and nothing was damaged. Also, something that was really helpful was any furniture that needed to be disassembled was reassembled in the new room!

Roadway moving was the most expensive option from the range of quotes that I received. They were worth every penny. Raz, the foreman, was the kindest, most hardworking mover I've ever met. He was incredibly diligent, set my mind at ease and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible.

He and his team went above and beyond in our packing and move. Every little thing was packaged thoughtfully and well. Nothing was damaged in the move. Even days later, we'd find a thoughtful detail in the packing. The dude really, really cares about doing a great job. They refused to cut any corners, everything was done right. The Supers from both buildings also said Raz's team was THE best movers they've ever worked with. Those are high praises considering the number of moves they've seen.

This is my 3rd time using Roadway, and they get better each time. The one time I used a different mover, Piece of Cake Movers extorted me for $400 more in the middle of the move. Roadway is the best, by far, and if you're lucky to get Raz, you're set.

Roadway Moving made me realize moving doesn't always have to be a nightmare! We decided to move in the same building, but knew that we wouldn't be able to do it ourselves (especially while I'm pregnant!). I looked around at different companies but eventually found Roadway through other friends in NYC. And all i can say is that Roadway EXCEEDED all expectations!! Even with such a unique, short move! The crew was incredibly nice, showed up ON TIME (so rare these days!) and took care of everything without stress. From vacuuming out the furniture before putting it in the new place to dismounting/remounting the TVs to packing up the closets... the crew went above and beyond. We were so impressed. They even brought us coffee unsolicited!

Don’t believe all the stellar reviews. Roadway Moving is too expensive without delivering the quality of work they promise. Their packing & delivery teams are decent but when it gets to organization and logistics they are a disaster. You literally cannot rely on anything they tell you. Save yourself a lot of headache and inconvenience. Go with a better company.

When my Wife and I decided to move across the country from VA to LA we didn’t factor in the time crunch we were in. Luckily Roadway was available to provide assistance with our long distance move with only a few days notice. The Roadway team demonstrated professionalism as well as provided quality packing of all of our items. From start to finish there were no hiccups when it came to our move. I will absolutely use Roadway again with any future moves we may have!

I had the best experience ever with Roadway from start to finish! When booking the move, they are extremely thorough in planning and coordinating ahead of time. The day of the move, the movers literally arrived early (that's never happened for me, usually movers are super late if anything)! They were beyond kind, especially the foreman who was super communicative, professional and kind. All of my furniture was thoroughly wrapped by them and handled with the utmost care. When they were unpacking everything in my new apartment, Andrew my foreman tightened the screws on my sofa legs because he said they looked loose and even installed my deadbolt for me - talk about going above and beyond. They genuinely care about their customers so much. Before my move, a customer care employee called me to introduce herself and tell me to reach out at any time with questions or concerns and then called me after my move to make sure I had a good experience. Literally the best customer service ever! Which took so much stress off my plate during the move.

I'm embarrassed on this company's behalf for the prices they are charging. I was quoted $2,005 for a one bedroom move from UWS to LIC. Other well-reviewed companies have only quoted me $600-800.

To give context, I only have 14 large items (couch, desk, mattress, etc.), 12 medium sized items (chair, bedside table, air purifier), and 25 boxes (mostly medium sized) that I will be packing myself.

This means that they will be charging me $40 PER ITEM. While a higher price is justified for the couch, table, and TV, the rest of the items are extremely easy to move. They are also not providing any additional services like packing.

The salesperson tried to justify their exorbitant price by emphasizing how well they would wrap things. But an extra layer of cardboard or cloth does not justify charging double the price.

They also said that their company was very fair about compensating for damaged items, even though their written policy only gives you $0.60/pound. Once again, I am not paying double the price for an insurance policy based on anecdotal evidence. Especially since I could buy actual insurance for $100.

In conclusion, talking to them was an absolute waste of time. For $700 I can have my items moved, buy full coverage insurance for damage, and still have $1300 left over to buy a new TV and couch.

The most seamless, professional, and easiest move I've experienced!! I used them for a local move in LA and the entire move, from packing my 2 bedroom apartment in Studio City to their perfect placement of furniture and boxes in my new DTLA apartment, took less than 5 hours!!! The movers were INCREDIBLE. At the start they set me aside to tell me to relax cause they got it covered. Within the first hour everything in my closet was packed. They were so efficient and speedy. When they were packing my kitchen they wrapped each items so carefully I was SO impressed. All my furniture was also padded and wrapped. They were so friendly and smiled through the whole thing. They made the move day So stress free and I'm so thankful for them!

Once we arrived at our new home, they helped assemble everything and get us set up — and when we decided to part with one older piece of furniture that didn't quite fit the vibe, they even carried it downstairs to the curb for us. We're not planning to move again anytime soon, but one thing's for sure: We'll be using Roadway again the next time we do.

Our move with Roadway (Muuv team) could not have gone more smoothly! Our move took place during the Pride Parade, which led to our road being blocked off - the crew had to carry all of our belongings a number of blocks down the street to their truck, and easily could have canceled the move, but instead did the entire move with a positive attitude. They were also so careful with all of our items, packing everything to ensure they would be extremely secure in storage. And not only were they careful - they were also very efficient. The last thing I’ll mention is that the team was able to accommodate our move on very short notice, due to another moving company canceling on us last minute. I first FaceTimed with a Roadway staffer to assess my apartment belongings / furniture and arrange for the best option for our move. I lived on the 4th floor of a walkup in NYC! My stairs we're very narrow and steep which made me nervous about having to move my valuable furniture out of there. Roadway was a life saver!!! Request Diego and his team if you live on the east coast- they created custom fitting protections for all my odd shaped items, put protective edging on all corners and sides of mirrors, dressers, bookshelves etc. They were efficient, cautious, meticulous and so knowledgeable. They also protected my apartment as to not scratch the floor or bang up any of the walls! It looked brand new when they left. My items are on a truck headed 3,000 miles across the country and I'm confident that everything will arrive safe and sound with the level of care they used while packing.

Wow where to begin! I’ve used moving companies before and the professionalism from roadway so completely unmatched. Every employee from planning to packing was kind, quick, and efficient. They were also so thorough and cautious! I was only moving a sofa (but an expensive one at that!) and wanted it done properly. Roadway did not disappoint! They used plastic wrap, furniture pads, rollers, and my sofa arrived and was put together in absolute perfect condition. If you don’t want to lift a finger nor worry about the safety of your items from start to finish, roadway is definitely the way to go!!

Roadway is by far the best moving company. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Prior to the move, Roadway reached out numerous times to communicate the moving process, plus the steps they were going to take to ensure that we had a smooth move out. All of the team members are responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Roadway has an immaculate process in place. On the move-out/move-in date - the crew arrived at 9 am, and once again, the captain of the team (Lucio) explained the steps and mapped out the day for us. Our package included full packing of every single item in our home, from bathrooms to pantry items.

They had us leave for a few hours so that they could get right to work. During our free time, we were able to step away and have lunch, buy flowers, spend quality time as a family and tour our new apartment. At around 1 pm, we went back to meet the crew, had a final walk-through of the apartment, and ensured that all of the items were packed and ready to be delivered to the new apartment.

Once we arrived at the new apartment, the crew unpacked and assembled all of our furniture, placed them in their designated areas + unpacked and hung our wardrobe. They even took the empty boxes with them, and offered to come pick up the remaining empty boxes the next day. The crew and the experience were EXCEPTIONAL (they were so good we even overtipped). One more thing, Roadway also provided us with an assistant for the day so that we could contact them with any questions we had - Michelle was responsive and answered every text message within seconds.

Extremely easy process. They do everything for you! All the packing. My boyfriend and I literally just sat there scrolling on social while everything was being packed up. Process is easy, the lead of the team walks you through the process, puts post it notes on what you want to keep/ not touch, asks you when they’re not sure if you want to move something or not (if it looks broken), shows you when there are pre existing damages on your items, and then the team comes in (5 people) and then wrap everything. All the kitchen ceramics and toiletries were wrapped individually in paper and all the furniture was wrapped in blankets, had corner protectors and then wrapped in tape. All the boxes were labeled. Roadway helped me move from my first condo of 6+ years to my new condo within Manhattan. They arrive with 3 men and all the materials to do a full packing service. I especially liked that they listened to me, were patience and were careful with my items. They packed everything up from my first condo - individually wrapping each dish, cup, food item, etc and nicely and gently wrapped up all of my plants and transported them over. They removed their shoes at my new home upon my request and protected all corners of my new condo with a covering. I highly recommend them if you're looking to move! When I first heard of Roadway I was pleasantly surprised at how professional they were. Everything was done in a timely manner and they followed up religiously to make sure I was covering all my bases. I knew Roadway was the company I wanted to facilitate my move when they came to my home and we walked through the entire home (cabinets and everything) and they articulated how they were going to pack all my belongings. They seemed to have a box/ packing method for everything (this made me feel very assured). I was shocked! They also informed me that they make an inventory list for everything and each box has a corresponding barcode along with a camera in the truck. With all of this noted, I knew this was a company that I could fully trust, which I feel can be rare when it comes to moving companies.

When it came to moving day the team came in very professional and got the job done on time. They finished packing my family size home in 2 days and before I knew it the truck was on the way to my new home. I am very pleased with my experience with Roadway and can't recommend them enough. Horrible experience. Expect all your careful packing to be casually tossed around.

- I had carefully packed and marked storage bins as extremely fragile, mentioned it to them as soon as they entered, they decide it was a good idea to stack them up and drag them down the stairs... Literally slid nearly $10,000 of equipment down 2 flights of stairs and I heard the loud slamming at each step and came around and watched in horror. Reassured me that we will open boxes at destination and check if anything was broken (I was moving into storage), didn't stick around to check.

- Didn't know how to unscrew a simple sofa leg. Suggested I remove the full sofa arms because guy was too lazy to go down to get his toolbox. After unscrewing it he put a sofa screw in the toolbox. I was lucky that I counted the parts to have caught this bungle.

- Accidentally (yet unapologetically) kicked and tossed fragile boxes across the floor.

- When bringing in boxes for packing + heavy packing supplies, loudly and animatedly smashing them on the floor. This is a wooden hoist building and my neighbors must have been rattled all morning.

- Had to ask to add better protection each and every step of the way. One thin layer of blanket was thought to be sufficient for a large floor mirror.

- Talking extremely loudly across the hallways (cracking jokes this way)

- At the time of loading, I asked to help separate miscellaneous items when unloading, did not care to stick around to do that.

- Used the toilet, made a mess and did not even flush. Lol You get the whole package with these guys.

All in all I've worked with and seen enough movers to know that you can get waayyyy better moving elsewhere. (Where they actually care for your belongings like they were their own.)

I waited months to post this until I had unpacked everything from my cross-country move. Roadway moving was absolutely excellent! They were incredibly communicative throughout the quoting and hiring process, the movers were very friendly, thorough and fast, and scheduling delivery couldn't have been easier. Not one item in my move was broken. While overall a little more expensive than other quotes I received, it was absolutely worth the cost given the professionalism and care with which my items were packed.

I recently moved using their packing and moving service. It was easily the best moving experience! The movers were friendly and took into account all of our needs in packing, and they packed FAST. Extremely professional crew that made everything seamless. All of my items were wrapped really well so there were no damages, and they even built my bed at the new place. Communication with the company was super easy as well!

I just used Roadway Moving to move all my belongings across the country! I was incredibly stressed out move out day but once the Roadway Team arrived they took over and made it an easy day. They wrapped my furniture with such care. As part of my package I also got some wardrobe boxes from Roadway which I recommend to everyone! It made unpacking my closet super easy.

I'm a vintage collector, so nearly all of my pieces are one of a kind and worth quite a bit of money, so this move was something I was dreading.

Roadway took so much care in packing every single piece for my move from Brooklyn to Miami. I've just finished unpacking everything and not a single casualty—that's something to celebrate.

Both teams (packing / unpacking) were so helpful and had the best attitudes. Everyone was super organized and the delivery team made sure all pieces and boxes were accounted for and furniture was unwrapped, reassembled, and positioned before heading off.

If I ever have to move again, there's no one else I would trust with my pieces.

I had a move today,10/6/21, and I had a great experience with Roadway Moving. They came on time and made my move seamless and super quick and easy. I literally did nothing as they packed everything for me and transported it into my new apartment! They even built my bedframe for me which was so nice of them. I truly recommend their moving company to anyone looking for movers. They are the best!!!
