After a ton of research on various moving companies for long distance, we decided to go with Roadway for our move and I am so happy we did! From start to finish, the process was easy and exceeded every expectation we had. Diego and his team made everything effortless for us. From arriving promptly, to packing everything securely and efficiently - the Roadway team went above and beyond to ensure our move was as smooth as possible, and that our belongings were as safe as possible. Everyone was super friendly too, which made the experience that much better. Our items were delivered on time and communication with customer service was always helpful. Without a doubt, I would recommend Roadway to anyone looking for movers and will be using them again for our next move!

From start to finish the team packed everything so quick and Made our move very smooth. I expect moving to be difficult but this time it was easy. They handled every thing with care and most of all packed everything so quick it would have taken me a week.

We just moved from NYC metro (NJ) to LA with Roadway. Overall, I was very satisfied! I have a 2yo boy and the decision to move across the country was very sudden. As you can imagine, I was very stressed and believed it wouldn't be possible to move in such a short notice. Thankfully, Roadway helped me all along and they made the move an enjoyable experience for me :)

We did a virtual tour of our apartment, and they offered a competitive quote very quickly. They provided a certificate of insurance as mandated by our building, and were very professional - arrived in time, took all necessary health precautions for COVID-19, and finished earlier than I expected. They packed everything in the apartment with care, and all furniture was wrapped with blankets, tape, wrap and corner cardboard.

In the end, a day I was dreading proved to be a day I had fun watching the Roadway movers and truck with my little son!

This was hands down the BEST moving experience of my life! The staff was so kind and friendly. They took such great care packing up all my belongings. I didn’t even lift a finger.. In all my years of moving I’ve never experienced such a seamless, easy and professional move! I will only be using Roadway from here on out! Thank you guys again!

Can’t recommend these guys enough if you have an upcoming move! My husband and I moved cross-country from San Francisco to Boston and the entire process from consultation to delivery was so seamless. We went with their full-pack service and it was worth every penny (they packed EVERYTHING for us, we literally did not pack a single box, so were able to enjoy the last few weekends leading up to our move instead of being stuck at home packing). Communication is key with a big move like this and despite the fact that we had so many moving pieces on both ends of our move, their customer service team was fantastic and never failed to provide me with updates or answers to the numerous questions I had along the way. On moving day, the teams were quick, efficient and so careful with all our furniture! Roadway is the most professional (and fun) moving company you’ll come across. They took all the stress out of packing & getting all our things to our new city safely — there’s no way we could have survived this cross-country move without them!

I highly recommend Roadway Movers! I recently moved from New York to Connecticut and everything went seamlessly. They were accommodating when I needed to change my moving dates, were efficient with packing, and even helped dismount tv's at our hold home and remounted them at our new place. I recently used the services of Roadwaymoving and I have nothing to say but great things on how amazing my experience was! I have moved a few times and this one by far was the best moving experience I ever had! The team was so professional and helpful! They provided me with lots of boxes to pack all my belongings a few days before my moving date, then on the day of my moving they finished up packing all my glassware, mirrors, frames and sensitive items very meticulously to make sure nothing would break. They dissemble my bed and all my furniture, I didn’t have to lift a finger! If you’re looking to have a stress-free moving experience, don’t look further, they will take care of literally everything for you, from moving all your items from your old place to going to your new place reassembling everything back for you. Overall, I recommend their services 100% if you want a pleasant stress-free moving experience! Worth every penny!!

Wow, very fast! I was not 100% packed up when they arrived and they basically just stuck the remaining stuff in boxes and wrapped it up and we were done!

Wow, I cannot rave enough about Roadway Moving! This was the first time I used a moving company and even though it was a local move for me, I was still blown away by the service. The movers were not only timely, but were friendly, professional and efficient. They also took care of all assembly, disassembly, packing and unpacking, which made my life easier. Overall, it was a stress-free moving experience and they are the dream team that I didn't know I needed!

I had such a good experience with Roadway Moving. I have been living in NYC for almost 10 years now and i had to move to places at least 5 times already. Moving process had been always stressful for me I have to think about million things: boxes, packing, vehicle, put together furniture, etc. With Roadway moving i didn't have to think about anything. Roadway is the absolute BEST moving company in the NY area. This is my second time using them in 2 years. We have a little one, and were leaving our apartment in the city to move to the burbs. Without any time to pack ourselves, we enlisted the help of our Roadway team. They were on time, professional, and managed to be INCREDIBLY efficient while also taking great care of our belongings. We just used Roadway Moving to fully pack our NYC apartment for our move across the country. It was so amazing! A crew of 5 super friendly guys showed up right on time and assessed what we had. Very quickly, they had everything packed securely and well organized. You’ll get a bunch of barcodes on each box that identify that it’s your stuff. Quick and easy! Now we are heading west and will meet them out there! I would highly recommend this service, especially the full pack. It is so worth it!

This was my 3rd NYC move and my 12th overall move and I have never had such an easy experience. I was absolutely blown away by the responsiveness, professionalism, and careful work done by Roadway Moving. They moved my 1BR apartment in NYC with ease. They were early, efficient, and fast/hard workers. The men who completed my move were thoroughly kind, friendly, and respectful! And Roadway even called during my move to check-in and make sure it went smoothly. The whole team was attentive and helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better moving team.

Roadway moving was incredible!!!! Not only did they take incredible care of my items (both fragile and not fragile) they were extremely communicative about their arrival from LA to NY and didn't take a moment to hesitate when I had to change the plan last minute & have them help me move into a storage unit. Roadway was excellent! They arrived on time, packed everything quickly, moved everything to my new apartment and could not have been faster. The whole process took less than 6hrs and as someone who has always moved themselves it was well worth the money to avoid the moving day stress.

Had a terrible move with Roadway. I have moved 5 times in my adult life and this was the worst and most unprofessional (in small doses). The scheduling and support to book the move was good, except for our delivery window that was a month, could show up the 10 May or as late as 10 June. The packing crew was professional and nice. Once the move was underway, no status updates or delivery windows until 2 days before. We ended up missing a few boxes, externally damaged boxes with broken glasses and some records, as well as dented furniture (corners). The delivery movers also damaged our new place, ~$1k of repairs. Once the second half of the payment was completed, Roadway customer service went from good to terrible. I will not use roadway again.

I have used Roadway twice now and they were just fantastic! They moved me out of an apartment and did a full packing job into my storage facility and just moved me out of my storage into a new apartment. When I unpacked everything it was so well packed that I didn't have one broken item! They were absolutely incredibly helpful and removed all my used boxes. I will definitely use Roadway again and highly recommend them!

I've moved many times over the years in NYC, and I used Roadway most recently. They were by far the most professional, kind and fast movers I've ever worked with. Their team was also in great spirits and made the process fun, which is something I couldn't imagine a move every being. They wrapped everything very professionally and took care of everything - it was so stress free, I did basically nothing. They also de-assembled my bed frame and re-assembled which was so nice. Nothing was damaged in the slightest, everything was handled with the utmost care. They really take care of you! Thank you Roadway, I'll be surely working with you again!

Loved everything about Roadway moving. They didn’t let me procrastinate! They were extremely responsive, they stayed with me to complete the pre-move checklist to make this less stressful and accommodated my crazy work/life balance! They were pros! Can we talk about moving? It is stressful and I am past the age of inviting some friends to help us move and the payment in the form of a pizza and soda.

My husband and I recently found an apartment three blocks away from our apartment and our busy work schedules would not allow for us to rent a truck and move our own items. Roadway came recommended by a friend and it was the second-best decision I made this month next to picking our fab apartment.

The movers arrived on time, wore masks, and practiced social distancing the entire time. We opted to pack our items but we had several miscellaneous items when the Roadway team came and they quickly boxed those items in a SUFFICIENT amount of padding to protect our values. We have a two-bedroom apartment and they were able to pack up the whole apartment in under two hours. The team took about an hour to move our belongings into our new apartment and even offered to take some of the boxes we broke down during the delivery.

Using Roadway allowed me to have a stress-less day so I could focus on the larger tasks associated with moving.

My experience with roadway moving was like no other, they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The movers were very courteous and were sure to follow all COV-19 safety precautions. They arrived on time to both the pick up and drop off locations, handled all my furniture including frames and mirrors with great care, and even helped us pack a few last minute things. I cant imagine ever moving without roadway movers and will be sure to use them again on my next move!

The movers were friendly and professional! They checked over all of my boxes with me to make sure everything was packed securely. I really appreciated that especially for the dishes! They also helped me remove furniture so that it could be picked up by the department of sanitation.

Used Roadway twice over the last year and a half. Both times had them pack things like bulky furniture and paintings, and some kitchen supplies. Took the pressure off an already stressful event. They show up on time, get the job done quickly and professionally, and we'd definitely hire them again.

My family had a great time moving with Roadway Moving from Los Angeles down to Orange County. This was our 7th move in the past 8 years and we wish we had found them way back for our move #1. This wasn't an easy move going from the steep hills and many steps of Laurel Canyon down to Orange County and a brand new 3 story home making sure not to ding any of the new walls and railings. All which was a success!!

Gary, Carlos, Felipe & Luis worked so hard and diligently the entire day and late into the night and even returned a few days later for more items that didn't fit into the truck.

They were kind and pleasant to be around during the whole experience. As you know, moving is exhausting and will put you at your wit's end, but having nice guys like the Roadway Moving team helping you every step of the way made the experience so much smoother.

Also, the Roadway Moving team made sure to provide clear communication and checked in before and after the move to make sure everything was done correctly and assist with any final questions if needed.

Roadway moving is the best. I never thought I would be excited about a moving company as I figured how can moving companies be different? They are detail oriented, responsive, polite, and customer oriented. The customer care staff would call me everyday to see how the packers were doing and if I had any questions. The staff was phenomenal: they asked questions during the packing and worked efficiently as a team. The items were wrapped, sealed, and protected which you can’t experience until you hire them. All the employees were polite, courteous and efficient. They even drew pictures on the moving boxes which were already clearly labeled. I highly recommend them and trust me I’m very picky. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I used Roadway for my Local Manhattan move and they were beyond professional. They arrived early, packed everything, moved it, unloaded and unpacked everything except the kitchen (at my request so i could clean everything). They all wore masks and were SO fast - I moved to a walk up and the stairs were nothing for them. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I hired Roadway to pack and move my two bedroom apartment from Brooklyn to Virginia. I was consistently impressed with them, from the estimate process (done via video due to COVID), to scheduling, packing, moving, and unloading.

Their crew chief was highly professional and took great care with every item he handled. They were able to pack and load my entire apartment in seven hours, then unloaded at the destination in about four and a half.

Because I hired them to do all my packing, the move wasn’t cheap! But it was worth every penny thanks to their efficiency, care, and professionalism. And the final charge was slightly under the estimate!

Based on this experience I would recommend Roadway to anyone making an interstate move.

Just completed an NYC to NJ move of a heavily furnished two-bedroom apartment with crew chief Christain, and his four-person team: Chris, Ishmael and two Alexes. Can't say enough good about how well they managed a complex load in the City with tight serviceways and distribution of furniture and 60+ boxes to multi-level home in icy conditions after freak snow! All of this with absolutely not a scratch on anything due to astonishingly careful and skillful wrapping and crating and consistent extra care, particularly of items identified as valuable monetarily or sentimentally. No rushing, slamming, thumping, bumping or cursing. Just quiet, courteous, efficient and complete professionalism from all 5 team members. Have done lots of moves; this one absolute best, hands down. Not incidentally, all wore masks consistently and correctly, maintained distance whenever physically possible and used lots of sanitizer. Back office support and estimation process was great too, as was management accessibility for routine questions and last minute adjustments to the move. Hire 'em! Period.

The guys that moved me were amazing!!! They were very nice and made my transition smooth. The process was on time and very speedy with care! I couldn't believe how quick they were. I love Roadway! And would never choose anyone else to move me across the country!

Once you go Roadway, you don't go back! I'm never moving with anyone else. This was my first time using a professional moving service and WOW! The movers were SO quick and were so delicate to make sure nothing got broken, and even took apart and put together my bed frame for me. My in-state move was done, top to bottom, in less than four hours!!

This business is the worst. I chose it because it had great reviews. The only part that went well was the initial sales call when they sold me a bunch of lies. I overpaid for an experienced NY team to get out to Portland, OR to move my high end furnishings back to NY. I requested full coverage insurance prior to their arrival because I was worried about my items being damaged - in particular one expensive chandelier. The sales rep told me they would have crates for all the items I asked to be crated - some glass & marble table tops/ the chandelier, artwork - I even sent him pictures of the items so they would have the supplies on hand. The movers didn't lift ANYTHING. They rolled the items that were supposed to be crated down the hill to the truck. They flipped my very expensive couches down the hill. The shoved my nice lamps into boxes without removing the shades. I even took a video of them rolling an octagon marble table and sent to the company. I was overcharged for insurance and crates that I did not use. I wouldn't even trust them to take the chandelier after I saw this. They ran out of packing paper twice. When I went back to check everything to make sure nothing was missed - I found a cabinet of glasses. When I asked why didn't they pack - they said we didn't have the paper. I found some paper and began packing myself. They were just going to leave behind!! They were so rushed so the lead mover could make a flight - he packed haphazardly. The whole thing was unreal. Their customer service team says they will give $1k credit for crates - which I haven't seen yet. But that's not the point - the didn't even give me the requested insurance until day after the move, which was mostly to cover for the chandelier - so that was a waste of money because they didn't take it. They have been a nightmare to work with - $1,000 credit on a $68,000 move is a joke. Horrible service and treatment of items. I have such anxiety about how much will be damaged and broken upon arrival. Stay away from this company unless you don't care about your stuff.

Our team Cristian, Ishmael and Sebastian helped us with a long distance move and were absolutely fantastic. So professional, communicative and accommodating, and we felt very safe and taken care of during the move. Their adherence to COVID best practices was perfect and they protected our belongings and furniture with great care and walked us through the paperwork and process multiple times throughout so we were clear on what was happening.

Jose and the Roadway team were amazing! We had a multi-day multi-pickup move and these guys were awesome. We hired them for packing, transport and unpacking. Organized, prepared, professional, on-time, pleasant and helpful. They were super careful with our more fragile and valuable items (we have a lot of valuable art). They were also neat, always cleaning up, protecting floors, etc...They were so friendly, they made moving fun!! They handle moves all over the country. We had a wonderful experience with Roadway and highly recommend them to anyone!

We have had an amazing time using Roadway so far. The initial coordination and video walkthrough with Steven was beyond easy and he was more than willing to help me with any questions I had. On moving day, Richard’s team took an amazing amount of care with our belongings and we are incredibly thankful. For now, our things are headed to storage before moving across country but I have confidence that the rest will go smoothly. Highly recommend.

The movers themselves were great - but everyone in their office is incompetent. Was lied to over the phone by a supervisor telling me the wrong delivery day after I voiced my concerns of it being delivered that day. Would not recommend to anyone.

We had an excellent experience with Roadway Moving, this is our second time using their service and I continue to recommend to friends. Our first move was a local move but this time we went from NY-CA and we are so impressed with how professional and organized the movers were. They arrived on time for the pack up and loading of the truck as well as for the arrival of the boxes once they made it to California. Everything was perfectly in tact and packaged nicely with care.

We were hesitant to undertake this move due to COVID19, however Roadway made us feel much more comfortable about bringing a moving team into our home and new home. All of the movers were wearing masks and gloves and kept social distance between us.

Loved using Roadway for my move cross country. At first I debated shipping everything myself, but after talking with one of my friends who recommended roadway, I am so happy that I chose to tackle my move. The customer service agents were so helpful. Each email they sent was packed with all the information you would need and more. The movers for my move always showed up right in time or a few minutes early and didn’t waste anytime packing/unpacking my things. Highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again when I move back to the city.

We were hesitant to move, even a local move, in the epicenter of the pandemic, but luckily we found Roadway Moving who was completely understanding of the situation and made this decision easier as our move date continued to change due to things out of our control.
Our move couldn't have gone any smoother. Roadway arrived on time, and even a few minutes early to get the boxes set up outside before coming to our apartment. We were told 3 guys would be coming to do our packing and move, but 4 arrived! Out of the 4, 2 were veterans of the US Army. We've never seen 4 guys work so hard and efficiently, while being sweet and attentive at the same time, and in 90 degree weather, and during the pandemic. It was obvious that these guys were true professionals, knew what they were doing, and actually enjoyed their work. Cleveland, James, Jason and Ishmael were great and Roadway was amazing! We will definitely be using Roadway for future moves!

My wife and I moved from NYC to SF in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic - perhaps the worst time in history to have a major life change afoot. Despite the very challenging operating environment - Roadway Moving delivered ON TIME and with no material damage to our belongings. I am happy to recommend Roadway to anyone moving near or far. They charge a slight premium to their peers but it is fully worth it for the piece of mind that their service provides. We had fairly nice belongings and I was beyond thrilled that NOTHING was really damaged.

Roadway generally executes moves through three teams - shipment, transfer and delivery. The 6 person shipment team that came to pack us up in NYC was excellent - led by Jose. They took great pains to wrap everything and carefully box the items so as the minimize the risk of damage in transit. In watching them it was almost as if they were packing their own belongings. Over the course of 7 hours they packed up our 1,500 sq foot apartment - never compromising on quality of packing in favor of speed.

Similarly the delivery team led by Mo showed up to SF in the throes of the COVID pandemic and carefully unpacked all our belongings. They only left when we were fully satisfied with the move. There was one particularly tricky piece of furniture from Design within Reach that we all struggled to reassemble. Mo and his team tried numerous times to piece it together and only left when we were happy with the result.

Also after some initial hiccups (understandable during COVID given overall dislocation, staffing issues, work from home adjustments), the customer service team led by Chakira and Sharline did an excellent job of communicating with us on timeline and effectively managing our expectations.

I would rate Roadway a 10/10 and will be using them for all my future moves.

I booked Roadway last minute after a failed attempt to use U-Box. Very happy with the choice I made, opting for quality and professionalism over a customer service nightmare. It was a cross-country move of a 1-bedroom apartment from New York to California. The movers arrived on time, were efficient, friendly, and ultra careful with packaging all of our stuff. A short 10 days later everything arrived in Los Angeles and was unpacked with similar ease to the packing in NYC. Communication was easy and fast -- overall 10/10 will use again if I move back to New York 😅

The crew came in and basically re-wrapped our entire apartment because we had done such a bad job on our own packing boxes. They were incredible! Seriously they packed up and moved out our entire apartment in NYC in 3 hours, then unloaded everything to our new place in ATL in no time at all. Moving is a nightmare but it was truly awesome and a seamless experience with Roadway!

📦 They use very high quality wardrobe boxes for all my beloved clothes which have a hanging bracket on the box so the clothes are hung on the hanger inside the box and upon arrival to the new apartment they unloaded all my clothes into the closet!! What a joy to have all my hanging clothes already hung in the new place!

OMG! This was the best moving experience from start to finish. Everyone that we talked to was professional and extremely responsive to all of my emails/calls. The movers showed up 30 or 40 minutes early to look at the space and started promptly at 9AM - the scheduled start time. The movers were extremely careful with all my furniture. It felt like they were packing their own things. They did not waste any time. The whole process took 2 hours which is amazing! The movers were outstanding and made moving as stress free as possible. I will never use another moving company.

This was my first time using a moving company and it was by far the easiest move I have ever had. The movers arrived right on time and packed up my entire one bedroom apartment and had me fully moved into my other apartment in 4 hours. I highly reccomend this company they were very professional and packed everything very carefully and if they had any questions they asked me. This was all while the COVID-19 Pandemic was occuring. They arrived wearing masks and took every precaution to keep everyone safe. I will be using them for every move!

The agent handling my move was helpful, and the movers picking up my stuff in New York were great, but when I received my items about a third of the boxes were completely broken and torn open. Custom made furniture was destroyed, pieces from inside the broken boxes were missing, dishes were shattered. Every breakable item was wrapped heavily in bubble wrap, but it seems like the boxes had been crushed or seriously dropped. Really disappointed when unpacking, because everything up to pickup went smoothly.

I can’t praise this moving company enough. When I made an initial online request, I received a call right away and was guided through the entire process. Joseph had incredible patience and kindness. He walked me through everything and told me not to worry. And he was right! Everything went seamlessly and the movers went above and beyond. So professional and nice. My apartment was completely set up by the time they left. I can’t wait to share them with any friends and family that have moves in the future.

They showed up early, had our entire house packed in lightning speed, and everything showed up unscathed at our new apartment in Manhattan. On top of all of this, the whole team were incredibly friendly. I will continue to advocate for Roadway to everyone I know whose moving!

I’ve moved many times and this was by far the best experience. They packed and moved my 5 person family and were awesome. Ben came to do a walkthrough (took only 10 mins) so I didn’t have to take pictures and try to explain everything or make estimates about the number of boxes I would have. The price they quoted was the price I was charged! I received a number of other quotes and it was a very reasonable price. The team that came was friendly, efficient, and careful with my things. Elon was the leader. They asked to make sure they were doing what I wanted during packing and moving. I asked them to switch something and they did it without question. Elon even suggested items to hold off on packing until the end so my little kids could have what they needed. And then they told me which boxes had those things were once we arrived at our new home. I highly recommend this company!

Our move was full-service from Lansdale, PA to NYC but had a date change at the last minute due to our apartment building. Our move estimator and coordinator, Kevin, from Roadway accommodated quickly and happily, rescheduling the delivery for the nearest date possible. The movers arrived early both times, after Lucio, the team head, gave us a 30 minute heads up call. They were so sweet, upbeat, and helpful! They did a fantastic and speedy job packing everything but ensured everything was packed well at the same time. They delivered earlier today and everything was done quickly and cheerily once again, and our furniture and fragile items arrived safely and in perfect condition!

Roadway Moving gets the job done! Richard and crew were on time, friendly and very helpful. They helped us finish up packing our remaining items, took care wrapping and packing all of our furniture, paintings, and knick knacks. Cristian, Christopher and Joseph were an awesome team and made our move go smoother and more efficiently than I expected. They were unphased that our 2 boys under 10 climbed all over their truck and played with the dollies - which meant we could get on with last minute packing. They were punctual, polite, thoughtful and always communicated what they were about to do and when they needed feedback from us. Not a single item was damaged and all our furniture was perfectly assembled and in place within an hour. This is the second tone we’ve moved with Roadway and I would highly recommend them.

They arrived right on the dot. Packed everything we thought could break. Took apart the bed, a hammock stand. Packed our pots. And moved everything out super fast. All while being super nice. The unpacking was very similar. Everything is now in the proper room. Things they took apart are now ready to use. Great service. The price is flat so there is no worrying about the time.

We chose Roadway's full packing/move/unpacking service, and couldn't be happier that we didn't have to re-live the past stress and burden of previous moves that involved us having to purchase all of the moving materials (boxes, protective paper and blankets, countless rolls of tape, etc.), pack up all of our our stuff, unpack it all at the new place and then grapple with what to do with all of the leftover boxes and packing materials.

Alex Artimon, the site estimator who came several days prior to our scheduled move date, quickly—but patiently—went around the house and created an inventory of our move. He clearly knew the logistics of how to move, and given the ease with which he was able to quantify our move, and translate it into something that could then be priced, and breakdown how it would all happen logistically on the day of the move, as well as the day prior to it, when all most of the packing would take place, it wasn't hard to believe his tales of experience on the truck and in the field for many years prior to becoming an estimator. Despite a minor discrepancy between the handling of a relationship discount between Roadway and the building I was moving into, Alex honored, in good faith, the pricing I believed I was entitled to. This went a long way toward fostering good will with him and with Roadway. He followed up every step of the way, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with Alex again during a future move.

The packing and moving crew was headed by Roadway Supervisor Jose Rivera, whose stellar reviews on Google, Yelp and beyond are in no short supply. Jose was personable, yet confident—and competent—and his presence throughout the move served to provide a feeling of reassurance during such a stressful event. Jose and his crew were positive, respectful and patient, and experienced and skilled professionals in the logistics of residential packing and moving.

Apart from some damage to my stoop during the move of my baby grand piano (which they didn't report to me, but nevertheless did their best to repair with a bit of Krazy Glue), a jar they broke (and also didn't tell us about, but that I didn't care about), and the remains of quite a bit of glue on our couch legs from the packing tape used to bundle them together after being removed during packing, Jose and his team did an incredible job, and I wouldn't hesitate to use the packing and unpacking services of his team for another move in the future.

FYI: long distance move from NYC to SF. Brian and Willy were a great duo in packing up our 1 br in about 2 hours. After assessing our items, they got to work right away. They were focused, meticulous, and careful throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

100% recommend! I was actually nervous at how perfect their reviews were- like it had to be fake because what moving company is gets that many glowing reviews? But so happy i went with them. Moving is already crazy stressful- especially if you’re going cross country and on pretty short notice. With these guys, you’re in the best hands. Professional and friendly, they reassure and communicate with you every step of the way. They take care of your stuff as if its their own. They sent boxes beforehand too so i could get started packing. The price in my case was super reasonable too. If i have to do it again, i’ll be calling them.

My moving experience was the best. I literally did not lift a finger. Moving is so hectic and such a production and unfortunately life doesn't stop while we move. Roadway packed every single thing, wrapped everything with extreme caution, and unpacked everything. I am extremely satisfied!

On Moving Day, you already dealt with the stress of packing and being on time for the move day, the last thing you want is to worry about the movers. We had none of that nonsense with Pedro and his team. Professional, competent, expedient. They really take pride in their work and work as a cohesive team. It was a Navy Seal grade operation.

We moved from NYC to Westchester in late August. The team, lead by Alon, and supported by Kimmy, Jose, Mondale, Ismael, and Andres, was AMAZING. They arrived early, packed our entire 3 bedroom apartment very quickly, arrived in Westchester 5 minutes after we did, and unloaded very quickly. We did not need to lift a finger. We have been unpacking for the last three days and have not found one broken item! I cannot stress enough how great this team was. Moving with Roadway was a really great experience. After living in my shared 2-bedroom apartment in NYC for 5 years, I hired Roadway to help me move into my new studio apartment down the block. With a limited time window to move (9 am - 4 pm) and one of the buildings being a narrow fourth floor walkup, I was worried about the logistics of how it would all work out. The relocation consultant, Angie, assured me this wouldn't be a problem and thoroughly answered all of my first-time NYC moving questions. On the day of the day of the move, the three guys, led by Josef, arrived right on schedule at 9 am and were finished packing and moving my belongings out of the first apartment by 11:45 pm. Soon after, they arrived with the truck at the new apartment (the walk-up) and were done with all the moving and reassembling by 2:30 pm. The team was reliable, efficient and treated my belongings with a lot of care. Even with complicated furniture like a heavy standing desk and my photo backdrop set-up, the team had no problem disassembling, moving and reassembling the items in the new place. Overall, I am very impressed with Roadway Moving and would highly recommend them to anyone moving in the NYC area!

I contacted Roadway to help me pack and move from Manhattan to New Jersey based on their great reviews on Yelp and I’m so glad I did!!! I was overwhelmed just thinking of how I was going to have to move everything my husband and I had accumulated over the past 45 years. they were super friendly and fast and efficient. they brought very nice quality boxes and packing materials to help us pack away our fragile items like screens and frames. literally, our entire one bedroom apartment was packed up and moved out in two (maybe even less) hours by just two guys - christian (chris) alvelo and eric torres! no damage was done to the property and they were respectful of our belongings and even paid attention to the arrows on what should stand in whichever direction. zero fuss zero drama zero hassle and cant recommend enough.

Could not have made moving ANY easier if they tried. The 3 guys arrived EXACTLY on time, packed everything in my apartment which turned out to be over 15 boxes in just under 2 hours. Very happy with the services provided by Roadway Moving. Our consultant, Ken, was very helpful. Scheduling an onsite estimate was going to be a challenge, but when Ken found out our apartment was for sale and pictures were up on real estate sites, he pulled up the pics and evaluated each piece of furniture. An easy and fair estimate!
When move out day arrived, foreman Richard and his team, George and Francisco, really impressed us. Richard walked us through the process as the team went right to work. They all did a great job of packing our furniture, efficient and with care. No surprises with the move out, except possibly that the team exceeded our expectations!

My husband and I just had a baby and needed to move into a place with more space. Obviously we didn’t want to deal with the stress of a move but had no choice, so I started putting out feelers for good movers on Instagram. Several people recommended movers that I was already familiar with, but then my dermatologist slid into my DM (along with a few other people) simply RAVING about Roadway movers and their service. My ears perked up. At the same time, my cousin texted me that her neighbor had used this company and they were amazing: “They’re called Roadway.” Boom. Using them. I immediately called the company and scheduled our move.

After I spoke with one of their employees, they set up an appt for me to assess how much stuff we have. I met with my move coordinator Ben and he gave us a quote. I’m always apprehensive with moving but this company already seemed to have their stuff together.

The day before our move, three men—Augustin, Anthony, and Christian—came to pre-pack our lives (and did it with such attention to detail that my mind was blown.) I cannot tell you how immensely helpful this was with a baby. My husband and I weren’t worried AT ALL—we even went out for lunch while the guys packed everything (my mom was watching the baby).

The next day would make or break what we thought of Roadway, and they did not disappoint. They arrived on time at 8am, immediately got to work, loaded up and unloaded our items with precise care (DIDN’T EVEN GRAZE OUR NEW FRESHLY PAINTED WALLS at our next apt), were so helpful when I asked them to move our huge carpet 5,000 (anyone else picky, AF?)—basically they went above and beyond. So because of that, I had to leave this review to say that HOLY SHIT, this moving company is simply the best and I’ll be hiring them again when we move—whenever that may be!

Bryan deLeon and his boys Vladimir and Jesus were fantastic today. They arrived in time and packed everything very gently and with great care, while Bryan walked me through the details and paperwork of the process. There were a couple of small extra items I forgot to list that they had no problems loading as well. After they had loaded the truck and left, I realized I forgot about my whole closet... ten minutes later Vladimir and Jesus were back with wardrobe boxes, and one minute later they were gone again. Very polite, professional, efficient and understanding, excellent team that I would recommend to anyone!

From the expected excellent job of packing, loading, and unloading, to the unexpected sensitivity, skill, and patience with which they moved the furniture into the apartment of a very angry woman with dementia...I haven’t stopped talking about this experience or these wonderful men. I would recommend Roadway to anyone.

Overall I give them very high marks. I would definitely use them again next time I move. I hired them to pack the contents of my apartment and move it the same day.

Pros: They were on time, and very professional. The foreman was intelligent, easy to communicate with, and seemed well-prepared. The two other men were friendly and thoughtful. All three of them worked VERY hard, and efficiently. They worked right through lunch.

Cons: Due to my huge underestimation of how many boxes I'd need, which I take full responsibility for, they had to go back for more, and the packing portion took many hours longer than anyone had estimated. In their haste they ended up taking several furniture items that I'd said didn't need to go, and leaving behind a few things (fridge contents, mirror). I would have preferred they'd charged me more and followed through on their promise of a final walkthrough to make sure everything was correct.

In Summary: I take most of the blame for the mishaps. Compared to any other movers I've had they were light years better, so I would definitely recommend them. The packing service was a lifesaver. I feel like this was an excellent deal.

I had Danny salce, Victor arias, and Eduardo H come by and pick everything up. They were very helpful throughout and helped us through everything super quickly! They offered their help packing things that weren't quoted and we were grateful to have them do that! So far my experience has been awesome and I'd recommend anyone to use roadway.

Richard and his team were AMAZING!!! They showed up a few minutes early, did not rush the walkthrough or the paperwork, and reassured us that they would treat our home like their home. They took great care with our belongings, and the whole thing was done in less than six hours.

In addition to being polite and professional, all three were friendly! As they started loading the truck at our old apartment, we swapped tips on on recycling and talked about where we'd all gotten breakfast. While we started unpacking our new home, I chatted with James about Game of Thrones and traded theories. It was like moving with friends- except these friends actually know what they're doing.

In general, Roadway Moving was very easy to work with. I did my inventory over the phone, and they were responsive when I had questions or needed to make changes. They even called in the middle of the move to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Not only do I wholeheartedly recommend Roadway Moving to anyone who wants a bit less stress during their move, I suggest you ask for Richard.

Spectacular experience! Jose managed the entire process and packed all of our furniture with the assistance of two additional guys.

I got a call from Jose to let me know they were on route and would arrive at 9am which they did. Jose introduces himself, did a walk around the apartment to assess the job and then got right down to business.

They commenced the job in the living room then worked their way through the rest of the space. I was present during the entire packing process and they did not skimp on quilting, boxing, plastic wrapping, taping, adding extra cardboard on the corners, dismantling any furniture that legs could be removed from like our dining table and foyer table.

We have some custom made furniture with curves including an oval wood dining room table, curved club chairs, oval lucite table, curved wood foyer table, a huge custom desk with an inlaid glass desktop, deco veneered bedroom set (dresser/ headboard/footboard) that needed to be taken apart so a lot of special care and attention to details to protect and prevent any possible damage to our furniture.

As I mentioned previously they started at 9am and were “wrapping up” at 2pm.

We required this move out, with our furniture going into storage, due to a leak that damaged our flooring needing us to unfurnish the apartment to be able to replace the flooring in the entire apartment.

Needless to say moving is stressful without having the added stress of dealing with insurance companies, moving into temporary housing, coordinating contractors....etc.

I also want to give a shout out to Ryan, the salesperson I dealt with, for his follow up and the confidence he had in the movers professionalism, competence and attention to detail. This “Roadway Crew” were excellent.

Lastly, I got FOUR moving quotes and checked reviews on Google, Yelp and Angie’s List. I got 2 mover referrals from my insurance company and the other 2, Roadway and another company, from my own research.

Roadway BY FAR was the least expensive of all the movers AND Roadway had 4.5-5 star reviews consistently.

WOW! Roadway moving truly impressed us from the beginning to end. They were early ( which is huge for us), extremely prepared and handled all of our large complex art work, big bulky furniture and delicate items. They were professional , efficient, speedy and such a pleasure to be around. We were able to relax on our couch and enjoy this move which I was not able to say with prior moves. I can't believe how fast and easy our move was. From start to finish they get an A+++. My partner and I move a lot. We were moving from a large 2 bedroom apartment in New York to an apartment in DC. Having dealt with more than 10 relocations due to our jobs, we knew exactly that when choosing a moving company, you don't go with the lowest bidder.

When Adrian from Roadway came to give us an estimation, we were immediately sold. He knew what he was talking about and that's' very reassuring.

Four movers arrived at our place to do the actual packing and moving.They said they were going to arrive at 9 am to pack and they actually arrived 10 minutes early which was awesome. They said they were going to finish everything including loading up the truck by 4 pm ( we had a train to catch at 5 pm) and that's exactly what happened. We were told to expect our delivery the next day between 9 to 10 am in Washington DC and that's exactly what happened.

Each mover was very nice and we didn't get the sense that they were rushing to finish the job. They treated our belongings as they would theirs. I don't think I have ever seen anyone doing such an amazing job with packing.The way they covered corners of our furniture, the amount of recycled paper they used to wrap breakable stuff, these were just a couple of things that we noticed. They also kept us informed about certain things such as how they were going to pack delicate items or where to find the nuts and bolts that they have taken apart. We immediately felt at ease and we just knew that everything would be alright.

Today we finally finished unpacking everything and there was not a single broken thing. Not even a glass.

As I mentioned earlier, they were not the lowest bidder for the job but it's definitely worth every cent we paid them to do the job.

When we move in two years we will call them again to do the job.That was the best moving experience we have ever had.

I had a complicated start to my move: three location pickups which required consolidation and ultimate delivery from New York City to Texas. The final trip from NYC to Texas is yet to occur; however the three pickups have impressed me. The Roadway personnel were the most professional I have ever seen. They wrapped each piece with numerous blankets, tape and corner beading.
They worked quietly, efficiently and were extremely neat in removing any residual packing materials. I WOULD STRONG RECOMMEND ROADWAY MOVING WITHOUT RESERVATION.

Absolutely amazing! Can't recommend highly enough - Pedro and his team were superb! My move was only a few blocks, but they packed everything w/ extreme care and loaded / unloaded everything gently. For pieces requiring disassembly/assembly, they put everything back together far better then they found it (I'm not that handy!). All of this on a 24 degree day in Brooklyn, up and down brownstone steps - no elevator. They were very cordial during those trying circumstances. Everything arrived without a scratch. I moved out of a 1 bed apt in Manhattan, had them keep my stuff for a month and then deliver yo new address in Bed Stuy. At every stage they were really good. Detailed electronic inventory. Expert packing. Fast. Courteous. Everything arrived in perfect condition and when the bed frame wouldn’t fit up the stairs, they called in an expert carpenter and made it happen.

We have just spent two days with Rolando’s crew at Roadway Moving. Our aging parents needed to move from the upper East Side of Manhattan to Providence, Rhode Island. Since our parents had been living in the NYC apartment for 27 years, there was a considerable accumulation of memories and many, many things. We asked for the moving service and packing—and happily the unpacking service. During those two days, every time I turned to Rolando, he said « Talk to me. » He always stopped, listened and reassured, clarified and adjusted on the fly.

Rolando and his crew came in the first day and were so fast, careful and effective that everything, including the baby grand piano, were wrapped, packed, protected and sometimes dismantled to ensure all our parent’s belongings would arrive safely. They started out from New York at 5 am and arrived half an hour ahead of schedule, and then proceeded to doing everything they did the day before but in reverse. Furniture in, assembled, adjusted, boxes unloaded, books on shelves. I particularly appreciated Rolando pulling aside two large cartons with our great-grandmother’s dishes so I could store them safely until we had the proper (and safe) place to put them.
