The best movers in NYC by far! I have moved over 5 times in NYC and this was the first time I actually had a no stress experience. They packed all my things with care, disassembled and reassembled my restoration hardware couch, and took apart all the beds and put them back together. It was a relief to be mostly settled from day 1 of moving.

Roadway has made moving in nyc such a breeeeze!! I was so thankful to have my move coordinator check in and do an inventory check in with, they provided all my boxes and even came to pack my wardrobe. Did such a great job wrapping and securing all of my important art and we’re ON TIME which is incredible! We were able to get me moved in and unpacked in 4 hours!!! I’m so happy! My movers Raul and alex were the best,kind and efficient! Will never not use roadway again! would recommend to everyone <3

I was so stressed about moving because I waiting last minute to organize it all but I am so grateful I called Roadway. With hours or first reaching out, I was all set to move. The team came and packed my two bedroom apartment in a few hours and too everything to Roadway's storage until they were able to move into my new home. They packed and handled everything with care and protected all my items and the apartment I was moving out of. It was all so seamless and easy and really made the experience of moving so much better. I would highly recommend working with Roadway, and wouldn't consider working with anyone else for my own future moves! 10/10

Johnny and his team were superb. They took great care with all of our belongings (many of them fragile) and delivered them without one scratch or nick. They were FAST, even though we live in a 4th floor walk up. They are also just really fun and great guys to be around. Highly highly recommend!!!!!

The movers are amazing, but unfortunately can't say the same about corporate. Zero price transparency and unresponsive customer support. The "no hidden fees" is false advertising; I was charged $500 more for storage this month without any notification or explanation. Consider taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a trustworthy company that prioritizes your best interests.

Incredibly smooth and snafu-free moving experience! I’ve used many companies to move and this was by far the best, most streamlined and competent process. From my first contact at the company who took all my initial info, to the move manager who was responsive, thorough and understanding, to the three-man moving team that was incredibly efficient, careful and FAST, this was a first rate move experience. I could not believe how fast Hernan and his team worked! It was my first time working with Roadway Moving and they blew me away with their preparedness and professionalism. The entire process was so easy, I dont think I could ever move again without hiring them. Everything was labeled perfectly and nothing was broken during packing or our multi hour drive to the new house. The whole team was so kind and positive even when having to move up lots of stairs or rearrange items during the unpacking. SO GRATEFUL.

UPDATE SEP 2025: I used Roadway again for another move and they continue to blow me away. Their packing process is SO fast and yet they take the utmost care with your items. I especially love how they label every box so they can bring it to the proper room of your new home, making unpacking super easy. Disassembling a queen-sized bed seemed like light work for them - I could never do that myself! Plus their crews are always so nice, it really eases stress on a day that can have a lot of it. Roadway packed up my two-bedroom apartment more efficiently than I’ve ever seen - a process that would have taken me weeks was done in one day, all while I worked from my couch. But the little details blew me away even further - like how they did my dishes so they could pack them, or asked if I wanted to leave out a coat so I wouldn’t get cold on the move. When the movers came the next day, they took the time to walk through everything with me and spent extra care on the items that made me the most anxious (like my tv). They thought outside the box, finding solutions to save time (and my newly-painted stairwell walls) like hoisting my bed frame up over my balcony and through the sliding doors. I can’t thank Roadway enough for the way they put my mind at ease during the smoothest move I’ve ever experienced!

I’ve hired Roadway for three moves within NYC and have found them reliable, friendly and efficient. My most recent experience was with Jose Rivera as foreman, he supervised the 5-person job with smooth and easy style. Alex Artimon was always responsive and precise as my sales rep negotiating the contract, and Jurgen as coordinator of the move was helpful, checking in throughout the 2-day packing and loading of an entire townhouse, and advised me that storage fees are pro-rated by calendar month and not move-in / out day. I now have a period of storage relying on Roadway to take care of my belongings and deliver them in one piece to my new home. So far, so good!

This was my first time having professional movers handle the entire process and WOW I am so glad I went with roadway. Not only were they extremely professional throughout the logistical process but our actual movers were incredible. They packed everything with care, handled it all in a timely fashion and beyond friendly. I can’t recommend roadway movers enough and thanks again for taking the stress out of our move :)

Worked with Roadway on my inter state move from NYC to Miami. Hugo’s team was super patient and flexible with my timing constraints. They did a great job unpacking and assembling my furniture and even helped me try my rugs out 1000 different ways. Exceptional service, would recommend again for sure.

Let me just say I was hesitant to book a moving company because the move was for my dad. He’s a senior and very particular about his personal items. But then what they did at our apartment was magic! They packed everything SO thoroughly and ensured everything was protected with paper and shrink wrap. We’re putting our belongings in storage, so it was important that they were wrapped well and they truly delivered. They were super respectful of our belongings and home and went above and beyond. The next day with delivery in DC was the same thing — clear, prompt communication and exactly on time in the morning. They were so efficient and maximized space in our storage unit and were super intentional about how they packed it to protect delicate items. Im moving from Tampa to Nashville and just had Hugo Reyes’ team pickup my things and it was THE most seamless service! The Roadway team came a few minutes early to reconfirm my inventory (all the items that needed to be packed/transported) and started right on time. I recently had to move from NYC to Las Vegas and I was very stressed that I had a lot of things to move and I wasn't sure how to do it cross country. Using Roadway was actually so helpful because they made the whole process so easy. They were in and out of my apartment within the hour packing all my things and then when they arrived in Vegas with all my things, everything arrived safely. When they arrived everything also done and moved within the hour. Highly recommend using Roadway for your next move.

We had 2 moves with roadway this month, one local and one long distance. Roadway made them both so easy. Our local move from Chicago to Wisconsin with Edgar and his team was a full packing as well and they crushed it. So friendly, funny, on time, and respectful of our belongings.
Our long distance move from LA to Wisconsin was also a breeze. Edwin and his partner Henry were so kind. They shared some crazy stories from their moves across the country! I mentioned we were expecting a baby and Edwin was as excited for us as our own family. When leaving he came back to the house just to let us know he’d be back in the area in a couple days and to call him if we find we need help with something.
Forgot to mention, Roadway also helped us ship a car from LA to Wisconsin! With all these moves, Roadway gave us a great price. I hope to not have to move for a long time, but if I do Roadway will be our first call.

Just wrapped up my move from NYC to LA with Roadway Moving and honestly, these guys were incredible. I was dreading the whole cross-country moving process but they made it so much easier than I expected.
The crew that showed up was ridiculously energetic in the best way - like, I don't know what they put in their coffee but they had me feeling motivated at 9am on moving day. I was really impressed by how carefully and meticulously they packed all my furniture. They actually took some pieces apart to pack them safely and then reassembled everything perfectly upon delivery, which was awesome and not something I was expecting!

Excelling packing, moving and unpacking service. Oswaldo and his team were top notch. Only hiccup was the TV mounting, there was no clarification upfront that they couldn’t hide the wires (I would have hired someone else to do the mounting had I known).

They even moved my Peloton which I was very anxious about, but the create option they have is well worth it. The most seamless move I have ever done, despite it being the most complex in theory. I was moving out of an apartment and loading things into multiple locations. After connecting the Owner/CEO, my delivery was scheduled within 24 hours. Ross is an ideal small business owner. He actually cares about his customers and wants to make sure satisfaction is guaranteed. He listened to me and offered a solution to my delivery issue. I also spoke with Shakira in customer service to confirm price and move time frame and she was incredibly professional and understanding. Within 24 hours, a talented move team arrived to my apartment (early!! YAY!!) and they were ready to delivery my household goods. Milan and Milan were super easy to work with and I just let them do their thing. They were very respectful of parking at my apartment complex along with the door and elevator rules. I am extremely overjoyed that the quality of the pick up is continuing with the drop off. The move teams are consistent with why Roadway Moving is rated so high. Customers are number 1. They respect your belongings and your property. They take such care in packing, unloading, and reassembling furniture. Roadway made good on the delivery snag and I am beyond grateful for it.

Almost perfect moving cross country. Wish I could give 4.5 stars...because really almost perfect. Jose Rodriguez and his team did an amazing job packing and organizing in NY. Shout out to packer Fatima:) LA team very fast and careful I can’t remember names they were so fast! Much to my disappointment, 1 box was missing upon arrival in LA. They are still trying to find the box and were very kind to compensate me for the confusion and worry about it. They really are a great moving company, almost perfect:)

My movers showed up right on time the morning of my move, and got to work immediately. They disassembled large furniture, kept all parts and pieces organized, and were able to pack my one bedroom apartment up, in full, within 3 hours.

That said, I did encounter a few challenges after the move while unpacking. Some items weren’t packed with the care I expected—like personal care products being packed alongside bathroom cleaning tools, and some fragile or open items not being secured properly. Box labeling was also very general (e.g., every box labeled “kitchen” or “closet”), which made unpacking and locating things a bit frustrating.

However, when I brought these concerns to Roadway’s attention, I was extremely impressed by how they responded. My contact took the time to acknowledge each concern and shared how the feedback would be used to improve future customer experiences. That level of customer care really made a difference and showed me they value feedback and take it seriously.

If you’re considering Roadway, I’d still recommend them—especially for the professionalism and quality of the move itself. I’d just advise being clear on how you want things packed and labeled ahead of time, and reviewing everything before signing off at the end. Manuel and his team were extremely thorough in their full day pack & move job for my wife and I. They were very professional and were VERY careful with packing everything up for us and took extra care with our fragile items. They did the most gentle pack job of any movers we’ve ever had and did it in the least amount of time. We have never moved fully in one day! They were able to problem solve when tricky situations arose such as miscommunication with the sales office and customer, tight corners with large items and they took extra care in disassembling and reassembling our items.
