We moved from NYC (Manhattan) to Tampa, FL last month. Our move was smooth from start to finish. I understand why Roadway gets such great reviews. Each of our items were boxed or crated with care and professional expertise. Then each item was scanned for proper tracking. The load in was fast and easy and the crew was wonderful. After we arrived in Tampa, I was contacted to let me know when to expect delivery and they arrived on time with no issues. Even though the crew had to walk a bit further than expected to unload, they did not charge us, nor did they complain. I would highly recommend Roadway to my friends and family. A terrific, stress free experience. Thank you!

I have moved several times over the last decade; and I must say I have never had such an experience with my moving company which I hired. Lot's of reviews summarized the great service, and products they provide which is true once everything goes well - Allow me to add a great review for Roadway which stepped up once, things didn't go well - And to me this when it matters the most.
The short version; During the off load and the unpacking, for foreman discovered that few of the items were broken - he took it personally, and promised to take that to their workshop for FREE repair. Things got worst when Roadway lost these items.... However few weeks later once provided quotes for items replacement they paid for these items in full.

Very efficient, fast AND Super Careful. The Roadway crew was great from Avi Ohana who set everything up to driver Babayu and his crew Vasily and Gleb. And the plastic "City Bins" are great - much better than having a hundred boxes to dispose of! Hope we never move again - but would use Roadway again in a heartbeat and we enthusiastically recommend them.. AND - it was a very fair price.

I recently moved from NJ to CO and Adrian Tarnovetchi is the guy who helped us right from initial estimate till the delivery. We were thoroughly satisfied with the move and they were thorough professionals especially Adrian as he took up the responsibility of handling my job till the end. The price was perfect for the long move (even though it was a bit pricey initially but later on Adrian helped during negotiations and finally ended up in a win-win situation) and the handled everything right from loading the house hold stuff, packing the fragile items until unloading them to perfection. I will highly recommend Roadway Moving for any move as they are very polite, gives us the right estimate and there are no delays. Call them for the move and ask for Adrian Tarnovetchi - he is the guy you can rely on completely.

Roadway Moving is my go-to company if/whenever I have to move in the future. From the interaction with Tony Jeter over the phone for an estimate, to Miguel Rivera, Rolando Rivera and Manuel Triana (Professional Movers), I have absolutely not a single complaint.

First, the price they quoted me was very fair for a 2BR worth of stuff ($1,000 + toll charges for the entire move from NY to NJ and no time restriction) but they also disassembled and reassembled any large furnitures that can't fit through doorways or elevators with no extra charges. The previous company I used was "OZ Moving & Storage", they were not bad, but they can definitely learn something from Roadway Moving.

The best part of the entire move was the 3 movers, Miguel, Rolando and Manuel. They arrived on time, Miguel did a quick walk-through and they started right away. They were courteous, efficient, fast and meticulous. Being fast yet careful with my belongings is the most important quality I look for in a mover. We had a few small talks here and there but they were hauling butts the entire time. I didn't hear a single "bang" or "crash". They pointed out all the nicks and scratches and missing screws before they disassembled any furniture to avoid any "finger pointing" which I thought was very smart on their part and very necessary for my own peace of mind. And they reassembled all the furnitures and placed them in respected areas requested by us in my new apt. I haven't gone through half of all my boxes yet but so far, nothing was damaged and I have a strong feeling that the rest of my belongings are ok as well.

Long story short is that, I had an absolutely wonderful and painless experience with Roadway Moving and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a hassle-free and worry-free move. I don't know if one can do it, but if I move again and the three of them are still with Roadway Moving (but I also secretly hope that they each move onto bigger and better opportunities in their future endeavors), I'll be sure to request for them. I can't explain how wonderful this company is,I moved in sept.from nj to az and I have to say from the day an associate came to give me a quote my experience was nothing but the best.they kept in touch with me every step of the way.my delivery was perfect along with all the men who did the job from nj men to the az men.it was a great pleasure to know my move was going as planned and so smoothe.so today 5 months later I get a flower delivery. ....from roadway thanking me for choosing them.no thank you !!!!! I have recommended them and my friend used them also and also had a great experience. Again thank you a class act company. ..

Roadway does an incredible job. The movers are courteous, professional and thorough. My wife said it was so easy and trouble-free that she will never move with anyone else! They even disassembled and reassembled my fragile coffee table and nothing had so much as a scratch. Outstanding experience all around👌💙

Scheduled an estimate with this company was probably the best decision i made with this move, the did an excellent job moving my belongings from NYC to D.C., couple other companies i dealt with was a waste of time telling us that I have to wait days to a week before I get my items and gave me some bs bait and switch bid just to waste my time, some people just have too much time on their hands I guess, on my move day I saw one of the company I spoke with having a yelling match with someone across the street about money, so glad I avoided those fools

The quote I got from roadway was not the cheapest but well worth the money, they packed my tv and furniture items and moved my pre-packed boxes, the quote stayed the same and for the first time i don't feel like I was getting hustled, I guess all these years I have been doing it wrong hiring the cheapest mover that wind up costing me more

Everything went smoothly as planned, no damage, no drama, and genuinely nice guys that worked hard and didn't complain about my stairs or having to deal with me two days in a row

I've used so many different movers in the city and Roadway is the best. Moving is incredibly stressful and Roadway really understands that. Their whole mission is to remove the stress from moving and that's exactly what they do. From my first sales call to the Roadway team coming to pack us up to the last box being delivered, the while moving experience was actually a pleasure! My wife was amazed...she is really hard to please lol and she thought they did a fantastic job. They called ahead and let us know exactly what they were doing during the whole process. BEST OF ALL THE COST WAS EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID IT WOULD BE!!

We researched many companies before we decided to go with Roadway. Ruth, from the time she conducted our estimate, was so wonderful, the right choice became obvious. She patiently answered numerous questions and advocated for all our needs.
The rest of the moving team was as professional, caring, and courteous. The movers that loaded our possessions treated each box and piece of furniture with the care they would for their own. They worked efficiently and with a wonderful demeanor. They also bar-coded every single item so that they would have an account when unloading.
Our truck arrived halfway across the country right when Ruth said it would. And the team that unloaded matched the loading team in their efficiency and care. They placed each item exactly where we asked, unwrapped all our furniture, and removed the trash. Our boxes and furniture arrived in superb condition. It was a truly wonderful welcome to our new home!
There were absolutely no disappointments with our Roadway move! The whole process was handled so well by all the people involved. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a heartache free move!

I bought the hype. I chose Roadway for my in-town move last week because of their consistently good reviews. I'm glad I did. Moving is miserable, but these guys made the process as painless as possible. Avi, our sales associate, came to our apartment and provided a firm estimate on the spot. Our movers, Carlos, Colon, Efrain and Andres arrived on time, were extremely friendly and had us moved across town super quick. This is the first moving experience I've ever had positive things to say about. While I hope not to move again soon, when I do, I'll be using Roadway.

We received everything from New York and I can now complete my review.
Very happily, I am giving another five star rating!
Ramiro, Junior, Alex and Edwin did a wonderful job. From calling us to let us know when they would be arriving, and arriving when they said, to unloading and putting everything where we said everything belongs, they did a wonderful job.
As with the first crew in New York, they were respectful and responsive and just very nice gentlemen.
As I said in the first part of my review, we were both very nervous about this entire process. Your movers made this move so much better than we could have ever expected.
We are in the process of unpacking right now and are halfway through and, so far, we have lost only three crystal glasses.....& those glasses were something that we had packed, not your guys. Everything that your movers packed seems to have come down exactly the way it was when it was packed up in New York.
I'm very satisfied and very happy and wanted to make sure to post this review for others who, like me, check out reviews of companies online.
It was also nice to hear that your movers had such nice things to say about their company. I truly believe that the fact that they are happy with their company made them that much better than they would have been if they were not happy with you.
I also appreciated the call that I received today asking if I was happy with the move.
All in all, I highly recommend Roadway and I want to make sure to do that with this written review and I will also recommend you via word-of-mouth.

Just in case anyone wants to see part one of the review, I am attaching it here:
Joselin, Mike, Alex and Freddy made our move out so much more comfortable than we could have ever expected. They were respectful and kind and they were so very careful with our belongings. I couldn't believe how securely they packed everything.
From the beginning of the process, speaking with Ken in the main office, a very responsive man, to having our home emptied, we couldn't have asked for a better process.
This is phase 1. Phase 2 will be when our belongings are delivered from NYC to Florida.
I am hoping that the move into our new Florida home will be as well done as our move out of our NYC home.
We have heard horror stories from friends, families and neighbors about their moves and their movers and we were not expecting to be so satisfied.
Roadway did cost more than other movers we checked out but, as of now, we are not sorry that we went with them.
I will give part 2 of this review when we have our stuff delivered, but that will be with other Roadway movers. I wanted to make sure to thank these gentlemen for all their hard work.

I moved from New Jersey to Miami with this company. From Adrian the Sales/Consultant to the movers in NJ - led by Ionut & his band of guys - to the movers in Florida - led by Elad & his guys - I received absolutely top service. I was blown away. They boxed up a glass curio cabinet as part of their service - where another firm wanted $425 for that alone! The company kept me apprised every step of the way; and truly, they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. The price was the price: no games. I would recommend this company to anyone. Blown away by such customer service.

WOW!!!!! BELIEVE THE RAVE REVIEWS!!! I'm a military veteran and former military dependent that has moved more than 30 times in my life and this, by far, was the BEST moving company I've used in the world!!! I chose to pay for everything, the packing and all and from beginning to end, the process was seamless. My sales person kept in touch prior and during the packing, even giving a new estimate based on pictures of a new area to move and trusting my word when I decided to personally move some items already added into the 1st estimation. I have a 3 story home and they showed up with 6 people initially and about an hour in realized they needed back up, so 4 more showed up for a total of 10 workers, ON A SUNDAY!! Because I had to be out by the 1st. They professionally interacted with neighbors and even spoke with the plumber when he arrived so I wouldn't have to. They were all very pleasant, all in the same shirt and I bought them all lunch, they acted surprised. Let me tell you, if you aren't giving a moving team endless water and athletic drinks and springing for lunch, you're not doing it right. It should be understood. Another thing, I was FAR behind schedule on moving due to my schedule, so the place was a bit of a mess, at one point a guy came up to me and asked if it was ok to wash the dishes I had left in the sink so they could pack them ... I was surprised at the service and politely and embarrassingly said yes. The drop off the next day , more than 60 miles away, was just as professional. Let me tell you, I'm loyal, but only as far as customer service is concerned...I used to have a mover I used faithfully for several moves within NJ, NY and a cross country move once. They are based in Jersey City, NJ "All Inclusive Moving". When this move came up, I looked them up and they had since suffered a spate of horrible reviews. I was surprised and assumed it to be just trolls. Just in case, I called the company to assess if they had changed any and just from the 1st call and the follow up calls, I knew the reviews were right. Customer service was not as it had been before. It'd been 10 years since I'd used them. So I decided to see if there was another company with better reviews. I found Roadway by googling "Best movers in NYC" and they were #1. I read all the reviews and took a chance, I'm so happy I did. Only one leg broke on a couch and immediately they offered to transfer it to their factory, have a furniture company repair it, and redeliver it. TOP NOTCH. No need for insurance paperwork, with the professionalism of the team in my home, I trust the team in the factory to restore it. My move was a little over 7k, and I also ended up tipping about $1500 over 2 days and spent about $400 on meals and drinks on top of that. Every single cent was worth it! EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. I will continue to use them...until they change, if they ever do. Kudos to Avi, Ben and the entire team!!!

Hired Roadway for my recent move to Brooklyn. There were a lot of different choices out there for moving companies, all offering similar quotes, but I checked online and Roadway seemed to have the best and most convincing reviews.

Sure enough, their service was awesome from start to finish.

Every step of the moving process was efficient, professional, and quickly achieved. And everyone from the initial reps I spoke to on the phone, to the movers who came to shift everything was incredibly friendly and helpful every step of the way.

The guys that helped with our move was very efficient timely and respectful. They handled our goods with the utmost respect and I would recommend them for any long distance or local move. I personally will use their service again In the future.

The estimate will be higher than all the other scammers, but they don't raise the price at delivery. They were easily the best movers I've ever used. They also take credit cards, so you can rest assured they are above board. Highly recommend anyone using them. Our move was from NYC to Charlotte, NC and it was done in 48 hours.

Transferring to a new location is quite hassle so we decided to hire these people. We had a doubt at first but when the work is done, we really appreciate their efforts in helping us. We love this company. They offer excellent service and easy to work with.

My family and I had to make a big move this month from New York (not an easy task when you have three kids I might add) We hired Roadway moving to help ease the process and I would never consider doing it another way ever again. The whole process was just easier and far less stressful than I could have imagined. The movers were very friendly and made me feel confident that everything would work out just fine. My job is such that I have had to move a lot over the past few years, so I have hired my fair share of movers. I can say without a doubt that Roadway is up there with the best of them. Professional, efficient, low cost, and just overall a really good moving experience. Will certainly use them again.

I wanted to share my great experience I had with this company.
I'm expecting a second baby and only the thought of moving and wha it takes brought me to a high level of stress. I called Rodeway moving and 2 more others. From the beginning of the process it felt right with them. The estimator Ben called me and schedule the visit, he came on time and was very helpful and professional. He calmed me down and promised I will have a smooth moving day, I got the email with the estimate and we schedule a move date.

A day before the move date a crew of 3 men came to my place to wrap up all my stuff, I was shock how nice they worked on my kitchen. They wrap most of the small details and came on the day later with the truck. On the same day they came with bigger crew and washed my apartment in a smooth and clean way. I ordered also unwrap service at the end of the move and by 05:00pm I was almost set at my new apartment. I couldn't believe how on the same day all of that happened. I expected to the worst and I was amazed how easy and stress free a move with the right company can be.

I want to thank Rodeway moving for helping me with my move, I was happy with your level of service and with all the staff, I highly recommend on them.

SO AMAZING. I've moved back and forth across the country three times and it has never been a positive experience - my things have been lost and damaged and the timing has always been inconvenient. Living on an air mattress for weeks is not fun. Roadway was AWESOME. From David who did the estimate to Alun, Pedro and Roland the moving crew in Manhattan and Ibrahim and his crew in Chicago - every member of the team was a pro. They were efficient and respectful and all of my expectations were exceeded. From initial call to receiving my items in Chicago was a 10 day process total! From pick up to delivery was 4 days! I cannot say enough good things. I had three in apartment estimates and their price was the best as well.

My husband moved our home and business from New York yo Las Vegas. That's a long way for our inventory to go. We first chose another moving company that a friend of ours used for the same relocation, but they left us feeling uneasy. That led us to do further research and thankfully, my husband found Roadway Moving.
5+ Stars for courtesy, speed, care and professionalism. Ken was very courteous and helpful. The person who came to do the assessment was great. The movers were on time to the minute and very fast without sacrificing care. Very detail oriented.
Our stuff came much earlier than estimated and anticipated, much to our relief. Most companies, including Roadway gave a 3 week window which is understandable, especially considering we moved in the middle of winter, but our stuff came within a week! Amazing.
The movers that unloaded showed the same speed but extreme care and were just pleasant people. Every single item was accounted for and absolutely nothing was damaged (again we relocated personal items and a full business with much inventory).
My friend who made the same relocation with different movers had so many issues from waiting more than a month to get her stuff to nasty attitudes, and damaged stuff, that I'm so happy that I didn't go with them.
Roadway made an extremely stressful process so much smoother. Thank you very much Roadway. I cannot praise this company enough. Keep up the great costumer care. I wouldn't think of using another company and I'll only recommend Roadway. 2 months later and finally settled and I'm still grateful for the company.

Definitive, “Roadway Moving” is The best of the best! The guys that moved me were super sweet, very professional, and REALLY fast! While they were very efficient, they were super careful as well and everything got to its destination in one piece. They turned a really stressful situation into a very smooth one! They helped me tremendously and did a really great job!

Not Happy! The movers who showed up were prompt and professional. However, what I am not happy with is the time is has taken to deliver the goods. This move was across country. Delivery date was 9/3/2014. I was expecting it to arrive around that time, give or take a few days. However , I have been informed that my delivery "window" extends to the 9-24! And as of 9-11it has not even been shipped, nor can they tell me when it will be shipped! What? To me this is unacceptable and an unfair delivery window. Can you imagine moving into a place for three weeks without your stuff? Again, I am not happy with this company and would NOT recommend it to anyone. I am paying them a lot of money and would have expected prompter delivery.

I have nothing but good things to say about Roadway Moving. I moved last month from Brooklyn, NY to San Antonio, TX with my family. Ken the Sales rep is very honest and polite. On the move date Gary the Forman and his crew arrived on time, they did a great and professional job. I felt confident that my move was in safe, expert hands from start to finish. I would recommend Roadway Moving to all my friend and family!
