Bryan deleon, D.Angeli and Audierys Gomez were terrific. They were pleasant, patient and remarkably fast. They were moving my late partner's art materials and they were kind concerning how difficult this was for me. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Had Jose R and has team come and pick up our stuff for our move to GA and from NYC. They arrived on time and ready to get to work and boy did they! They got all of our stuff, including some bigger pieces of art, packed and on the back of the truck in no time. We had a second pick up at our storage unit and once completed, went through the paper work and the delivery steps for once we are in GA! Looking forward to seeing the RoadWay movers in GA in the coming weeks! To add, incredible customer care, very professional, very courteous #thedreamteam

Definitely the best moving experience we’ve ever had. We had to get our stuff out of Storage in Charleston. They arrived and efficiently wrapped our furniture for the journey to NYC. When they showed up the day of in NYC the guys carried everything up our four flights and even assembled our bed for us. Everything arrived just as it was packed and we are so happy to be home now. Exceptional service and staff. The moving crew were on time, and despite the fact it was a scorching hot day, they kept moving to meet the restrictive 2 hour elevator reservation schedule of my new building. I would use them again with my next move :)

Ok! You want great movers it's simple! Use Veterans Movers in NY and Roadway Movers for the long hauls! Both companies fall under the same umbrella so I can evaluate both here and I did use both to go from NY to Florida. Daniel Abehssera of Roadway Movers came over to my house and worked it all out for me!! Great guy he saw me through the whole move. ( Hope I didn't bug you too much Dan😂! And by the way thanks for the Military Service to! It's easy to see you're a squared away guy!) As for Veterans Movers that's what you get! They are all Military Veterans and the three that came over my house were efficient and professional! (All the best Staff Sgt James, Sgt Shocka, and Howard "The Marine"! And thanks for keeping us all safe with your service). The guys from Roadway Movers who drove my stuff to Florida and who unpacked it were Cristin and (another) Daniel! Both were hard workers and very pleasant! So what can I say! I had a great moving experience! Both these companies are 5 star movers!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍🌴

Roadway moving literally made this one of the easiest days for us. Moving or not. They packed our apartment in NY and delivered and unpacked in another state on the same day. Bed made and furniture built. They even rolled out our rugs and helped line up the room.

What an amazing experience! Roadway was awesome to work with, they helped us pack up and more our entire apartment in about 4 hours and the team was tremendously helpful. They were respectful, professional and make the whole process enjoyable. Highly recommend for any of your moving/storage needs!

they were super friendly and fast and efficient. they brought very nice quality boxes and packing materials to help us pack away our fragile items like screens and frames. literally, our entire one bedroom apartment was packed up and moved out in two (maybe even less) hours by just two guys - christian (chris) alvelo and eric torres! no damage was done to the property and they were respectful of our belongings and even paid attention to the arrows on what should stand in whichever direction. zero fuss zero drama zero hassle and cant recommend enough.

I can’t recommend the Roadway team enough! They labeled, packed and moved everything in my apartment with the upmost care and in half the time I anticipated. They are so fast and prepared! It made moving completely stress free (which I didn’t know was possible).

I've lived in NYC for 16 years and moved more times than I can count on one hand but this was by far the most incredible, seamless and pleasant moving experience I've ever had!!! Jose R. and his team packed up our 2.5 BR apartment with astonishing efficiency and expertise. They were communicative with us the whole time, and even helped us navigate some miscommunication issues we had with the sales representative. They took the approach of “better safe than sorry” with some of our more delicate and valuable items, which was very much appreciated.

After spending weeks researching moving companies to handle our NYC to SF move, we decided to go with Roadway Movers. As of this review, we have not officially moved to SF so this is a review solely on the pickup of our possessions. I decided to go with Roadway for many reasons, but i appreciated that instead of providing an inventory list online so that they can give you an estimate, they scheduled a time for a representative to come to our home (3 bedroom apartment) to assess everything we planned to take with us so that they could provide a more accurate estimate of our move. I was able to ask every question i could think of and felt like Avi was being completely transparent with me about possible additional costs, what to expect, etc. Roadway regularly communicated with us to let us know what was happening next. On move day, our movers arrived early. Danny and his team of 3 were remarkably efficient, fast, polite, and thoroughly wrapped all of our furniture, which made us feel very confident that it would arrive in the same condition as it had left. Danny, Eduardo, Victor, and Jhon couldn't have done any better and we're extremely appreciative and feel lucky that we chose the right company. I was a little skeptical reading all the positive reviews online and felt it was just too good to be true. But our initial experience with Roadway has been great. I'll add another post once we receive our possessions to complete this review.

Could not have made moving ANY easier if they tried. The 3 guys arrived EXACTLY on time, packed everything in my apartment which turned out to be over 15 boxes in just under 2 hours. The movers then moved my completely into my new apartment in under an hour and left absolutely NO damage. They were reliable, efficient, easy to work with and couldn't have been nicer. This was hands down the easiest move I have ever had!!!

Roadway Moving made our move from Jersey City to the Upper West Side as smooth as it could be! They quickly, and carefully, packed up all of our belongings making this a stress-free experience. Honestly can't say enough positive things about Roadway. I was initially hesitant because I received quotes from other companies that were cheaper, but the service is 100% worth the money. They are consumate professionals in every sense, and were absolutely incredible throughout my entire moving process. It was the most CHILL move I’ve ever done in all of my years living in new York. I can’t recommend them enough.

The best moving experience I’ve ever had. We set up for them to arrive between 9 and 10 am, and they were ready at my door at 9:02 am.

They were fast, friendly and took all the stress of moving away, even with a little hiccup at my new place.

OMG!!! The absolute best experience! Lucio and his crew communicated with us perfectly. They gave us a time range for arriving and loading up our stuff. We were ready and they arrived just a touch early, I really appreciated that. They took care of our things like it was their own. I was amazed at the care they showed along with the speed that they completed the pickup. When I was a little late arriving at our new place, they were patient and kind. You don’t always see this kind of professionalism and courtesy. Lucio and his crew went above and beyond my expectations. They handled the job and our belongings perfectly. These guys are the best! Just sit back and they take care of the rest. Courteous, helpful and they know their business. Even the most delicate items were handled from pick-up to drop off.

Roman Reyes, Diego, and Michael did an amazing job. They were early, worked very efficiently, and were incredibly polite. They made the entire moving process painless. I highly recommend using them. I moved a lot, and they were by far the best movers I ever had.

This was our first professional move after living in our home for the past 38 years. Everyone has been great to work from Ruth for the estimate to Jose and his crew for the packing.

Cristian (x2) and Daniel helped me move today and they did such a phenomenal job! So nice being able to sit and watch / work while they packed, moved, and reassembled all my things. It was a humid day and they had to move up 3 flights of stairs, but they didn’t complain and did such a great job! All my emails were responded to super quickly. Such pleasant people to work with- would highly recommend for anyone in the NYC area!

Jose Rivera and his crew arrived at my mothers home right on time to pack her up They did so smoothly and without a hitch She’s 90 years old and was very nervous and they took care of her very valuable sentimental pieces that she was so worried about The next day Jose arrived again with his Crew and delivered all the furniture to her new address. Everything was brought into the house seamlessly and placed where it was supposed to be placed Not one piece of property was damaged Jose went above and beyond with his crew to help place all her items and unpack many things It was an extremely hot day and they worked tirelessly Jose was Professional courteous, cleanup was done I couldn’t ask for anything more. Excellent service. We moved furniture, paintings and a number of boxes from a NYC apartment to two different storage locations in New Jersey. The gentleman, Bryan, Criss and Michael, that is the correct word to describe these men. They packed the paintings and furniture with care. They took their time to make sure every item was deliver to the right facility. They were very friendly and nice even though they started work at 9am and did not finished until 8pm and the weather was hot and humid. We had a great experience with Roadway, the initial estimator told us there was a number of things they wouldn't move which we were fine with. But then when Richard and his team arrived they said they would move everything! It made our move super easy. The team was very professional, and everything arrived in perfect condition. They were also very accommodating because we had a bit of an issue with getting into our new building, but they were very willing to work with us while we sorted everything out. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Roadway.

Lucio and his team were fantastic. Professional, efficient, on time, and polite. They took great care of our stuff - including a large TV and some tricky glass pieces. We were very impressed and would recommend Veterans Movers to anyone looking to make a move in NYC

My boyfriend and I are moving out of state to California from New York. Our friends who moved last year recommended their service.

These guys are the real pros when it comes down to moving! The scheduled time was 2pm-4pm and they promptly arrived right before 2. They were able to move all the boxes out fast enough, and then they started wrapping our medium sized furnitures, we felt that our belongings are being handled very safe and professionally. Anytime you has any questions or concern, feel free to communicate with them because they got you covered!

We had about 40 pieces or boxes and furnitures together, the whole process took no more than an hour. We’ve also had other moving services before roadway moving, and they were alright. But with Roadway Moving, I never knew moving could be so fast and easy. Their rate is very reasonable consider how much more hassle it would be if we were to do it ourselves. Would definitely use their service again in the future!

Roadway Moving did a fabulous job on my recent move feom Fort Greene to Bed Stuy
i hired them to pack and they took far more care than I could have done myself. they navigated tricky stairs and doorways beautifully. and they were so kind and warm to deal with. also went above and beyond in helping me make small adjustments to furniture in the new place (e.g., helping to adjist furniture for a slanted floor). I feel so fortunate to have had Diego and his superb team handling my move.

Our moving team, led by Lucio, was highly professional and a pleasure to work with. It was our first time using movers, and I appreciated how they put us at ease. For instance, we had a couch that had been a *very* tight squeeze when it was delivered to our apartment, but the team patiently moved it out and treated it (and all our other items) with great care. Furniture items were wrapped in moving blankets, and Raul even disassembled and reassembled our queen-size storage bed, which was really helpful. The move was expensive, but it seems like it's one of those "you get what you pay for" experiences, and I highly recommend Roadway.

We used Roadway to move from Queens to New Jersey and the experience could not have been better. Jose Rivera’s team was incredibly courteous and diligent and just downright nice. And they work super fast and super clean. We had a ton of stuff and they were taking it from a 6th floor apartment and still got it out in record time. I’m very impressed with how professional everyone was and the expertise in getting these large bulky items into narrow doorways and navigating the city streets to get to the truck. I can’t say I ever want to move again, but I assure you, if I did, I’m calling Roadway and nobody else. Request Jose Rivera, he’s great!

Very happy with the services provided by Roadway Moving. Our consultant, Ken, was very helpful. Scheduling an onsite estimate was going to be a challenge, but when Ken found out our apartment was for sale and pictures were up on real estate sites, he pulled up the pics and evaluated each piece of furniture. An easy and fair estimate!
When move out day arrived, foreman Richard and his team, George and Francisco, really impressed us. Richard walked us through the process as the team went right to work. They all did a great job of packing our furniture, efficient and with care. No surprises with the move out, except possibly that the team exceeded our expectations!
Roadway is storing our furniture until our new place is ready. After this move out experience, we are very confident that our belongings are in the right hands. We are going to ask that Richard and his team be assigned to our move in.

My husband and I just had a baby and needed to move into a place with more space. Obviously we didn’t want to deal with the stress of a move but had no choice, so I started putting out feelers for good movers on Instagram. Several people recommended movers that I was already familiar with, but then my dermatologist slid into my DM (along with a few other people) simply RAVING about Roadway movers and their service. My ears perked up. At the same time, my cousin texted me that her neighbor had used this company and they were amazing: “They’re called Roadway.” Boom. Using them. I immediately called the company and scheduled our move.

After I spoke with one of their employees, they set up an appt for me to assess how much stuff we have. I met with my move coordinator Ben and he gave us a quote. I’m always apprehensive with moving but this company already seemed to have their stuff together.

The day before our move, three men—Augustin, Anthony, and Christian—came to pre-pack our lives (and did it with such attention to detail that my mind was blown.) I cannot tell you how immensely helpful this was with a baby. My husband and I weren’t worried AT ALL—we even went out for lunch while the guys packed everything (my mom was watching the baby).

The next day would make or break what we thought of Roadway, and they did not disappoint. They arrived on time at 8am, immediately got to work, loaded up and unloaded our items with precise care (DIDN’T EVEN GRAZE OUR NEW FRESHLY PAINTED WALLS at our next apt), were so helpful when I asked them to move our huge carpet 5,000 (anyone else picky, AF?)—basically they went above and beyond. So because of that, I had to leave this review to say that HOLY SHIT, this moving company is simply the best and I’ll be hiring them again when we move—whenever that may be!

Moving is such a dreaded task and on the morning of, my husband and I were anxious but as soon as we were greeted by Richard Solano I felt the weight lifted. He was so courteous, informative of the process and instructed me to go have a coffee and let his team do the work!!!! I couldn’t believe how comfortable he made me feel in a matter of minutes. He displayed incredible leadership skills with his team and ensured everyone introduce themselves to us. In about 44 minutes, what we collected in 5 years was packed up and moved out of our apartment. Francisco Diaz and James Bell made an incredible team with Richard. Once arriving to our new apartment, the team was faced with a non working service elevator but this did not deter them from efficiently unloading the boxes. It was very helpful of them to put each box in the appropriate room, when it came time to me unpack. Once it came time to have my couch come up the non service elevator, it did not fit but Richard again saved the day by contacting Roadway for storage options. I hope to not have to move in the near future, but if I did I would choose Roadway again without hesitation and will recommend them to anyone I come across that needs movers. Roadway did a wonderful job cultivating exceptional employees, and providing above average service. I hope Richard Solano, Francisco Diaz, and James Bell get raises for upholding Roadway’s mission.

Bryan deLeon and his boys Vladimir and Jesus were fantastic today. They arrived in time and packed everything very gently and with great care, while Bryan walked me through the details and paperwork of the process. There were a couple of small extra items I forgot to list that they had no problems loading as well. After they had loaded the truck and left, I realized I forgot about my whole closet... ten minutes later Vladimir and Jesus were back with wardrobe boxes, and one minute later they were gone again. Very polite, professional, efficient and understanding, excellent team that I would recommend to anyone!

My experience moving went amazingly smooth with this company. I worked with Brian (foreman), Jose, and Vladimir. They were all incredibly professional, personable, and took extra care with my belongings. Brian was lovely to chat with and quite funny as well! Professional crew moved us over the weekend. They were very friendly. Crew chief Alex was second to none. They moved me out and in in less time than expected. They unpacked and arranged everything for me. Nothing was damaged. The customer service to set up and arrange the move was Excellent. My representative Benjamin was easily accessible. He always picked up the phone on the first or second ring and responded to my emails immediately. If I move again I will definitely go with Roadway.

Bryan, Vladimir, and Jesus were an absolute dream to work with! They called in advance, arrived on time in the window, and quickly and very efficiently packed up my entire apartment in a matter of less than two hours. I moved from NYC to FL and after long distance moves before was concerned about time and care. I was super impressed with Roadway. They were kind, professional, worked quickly and everything arrived super timely to FL (sooner than expected!) They took special care of large mirrors and other pieces that needed care, and everyone on the team answered all my questions. Seamless move, which was appreciated as moving is hectic enough. Definitely will use them again and recommend to all my friends.

Danny Salce, Eduardo H, Victor Arras, Rolan, and Jose Mercedez were my movers and they were AWESOME. My sister and I are the typical cliche of girls having a ton of clothes and shoes and random other things and they were efficient, polite, hard workers, friendly, respectful and quick (especially considering the amount of stuff we have)! I’m very happy with our experience and would absolutely recommend!

Cannot recommend them enough. Our movers- Augustin, Cristian, and Teodor- showed up promptly for our move at 7am. In less then 4 hours they were finished. I started my process with Scott C who was so accommodating with my requests and when I had to change some dates at the last minute he was great and always followed up with me. The Customer Service Rep, Charline was amazing, she called throughout the day to keep me informed in the process.

I must say this is my second time using this moving company and they will always get 5 stars . They’re professional and work as a team , you will not regret using them . They come on time and start to get to work right away . They dissembled my beds(King and Queen ) and furniture (Dining table )and wrap the couches. They’re are pricey , but guess what you get your money worth . Not only do they dissemble your beds but, when they assemble it back it’s actually better than when it’s first purchased from a furniture store (assembled tighter ) . Anywhere you want your furniture placed you just point . I’m not exaggerating the type of service I received . I will always recommend this company to anyone I ever know that needs good moving services . Thank you Richard , James and Francisco for making our final move a smooth and comfortable one . I truly appreciate it . I’ve used Roadway twice now and I’ve had the MOST AMAZING experiences both times. First of all, everyone that I’ve ever spoken to at the company is incredibly nice! On the day of the moves, they made the process so easy and they were so accommodating and took charge of making sure everything went smoothly. They don’t try to nickel and dime you and the price is so reasonable. I’ll never use another moving company again! Shout out to our man Richard! He and his team were so friendly and kind! Exactly the team that I want during such a stressful process.

Thank you roadway moving for taking care of my stuff and making it stress free. A special shout out to Ramon for coordinating the pick up and also to Julio and Diego for getting it done. Glen and Elvis were super helpful with the drop off. Great communication all around and everyone was dependable. I did have one issue with a broken box and stuff falling out but I know they tried to fix it.

Our move could not have gone more smoothly! From beginning to end, our experience with Roadway was great. Coordinating the assessment, contract and scheduling with Avi was seamless and easy. On moving day, Alex and his team were the best - prompt (even early!), friendly, courteous, careful and so organized. We felt our belongings were under the best of care the entire time. Roadway team showed up 10 minutes early to speak with my doorman about arranging elevator access, knocked on my door promptly at agreed on time, and got right to work. These guys know what they’re doing and we’re personable as well. Once they packed up and loaded the truck, I got a call from Roadway HQ making sure I was happy with the move (which I was) and this call shows how obsessed they are with customer happiness. The movers themselves were respectful, careful, and almost silent during the move. These guys are driven and committed to getting a job done right.

If you’re moving in NYC, you have a few we’ll known options, but you can not go wrong with Roadway. I can’t imagine a better moving experience than I received today. Keep up the great work!

The three men who carried out my move...Elroy, Jose, and Luis...were outstanding in every way.
From the expected excellent job of packing, loading, and unloading, to the unexpected sensitivity, skill, and patience with which they moved the furniture into the apartment of a very angry woman with dementia...I haven’t stopped talking about this experience or these wonderful men. I would recommend Roadway to anyone.

Roadway guys were absolutely fantastic. Byran and his team were really professional, courteous, and fast. True to their words, all the furniture were wrapped up properly. Things were dropped off at all the right places in our new place. They keep us in communication and the main office's customer service was also very helpful. I will definitely use them the next time!

Overall I give them very high marks. I would definitely use them again next time I move. I hired them to pack the contents of my apartment and move it the same day.

Pros: They were on time, and very professional. The foreman was intelligent, easy to communicate with, and seemed well-prepared. The two other men were friendly and thoughtful. All three of them worked VERY hard, and efficiently. They worked right through lunch.

Cons: Due to my huge underestimation of how many boxes I'd need, which I take full responsibility for, they had to go back for more, and the packing portion took many hours longer than anyone had estimated. In their haste they ended up taking several furniture items that I'd said didn't need to go, and leaving behind a few things (fridge contents, mirror). I would have preferred they'd charged me more and followed through on their promise of a final walkthrough to make sure everything was correct.

In Summary: I take most of the blame for the mishaps. Compared to any other movers I've had they were light years better, so I would definitely recommend them. The packing service was a lifesaver. I feel like this was an excellent deal.

Walter, Juan Hernandez, and Andres Agudelo did an excellent job with a tough move from the suburbs to midtown Manhattan. They went above and beyond to safely move my things, and their efficiency and care was truly impressive. I recommend them and Roadway in general without hesitancy.

I had Danny salce, Victor arias, and Eduardo H come by and pick everything up. They were very helpful throughout and helped us through everything super quickly! They offered their help packing things that weren't quoted and we were grateful to have them do that! So far my experience has been awesome and I'd recommend anyone to use roadway.

Diego and his crew were outstanding. They were fast, careful, knowledgeable, polite, and genuinely interested in doing great work from beginning to end. I've moved dozens of times over 45 years and I can't think of a more professional and more pleasant experience than the one Roadway just provided. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Richard and his team were AMAZING!!! They showed up a few minutes early, did not rush the walkthrough or the paperwork, and reassured us that they would treat our home like their home. They took great care with our belongings, and the whole thing was done in less than six hours.

In addition to being polite and professional, all three were friendly! As they started loading the truck at our old apartment, we swapped tips on on recycling and talked about where we'd all gotten breakfast. While we started unpacking our new home, I chatted with James about Game of Thrones and traded theories. It was like moving with friends- except these friends actually know what they're doing.

In general, Roadway Moving was very easy to work with. I did my inventory over the phone, and they were responsive when I had questions or needed to make changes. They even called in the middle of the move to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Not only do I wholeheartedly recommend Roadway Moving to anyone who wants a bit less stress during their move, I suggest you ask for Richard.

Spectacular experience! Jose managed the entire process and packed all of our furniture with the assistance of two additional guys.

I got a call from Jose to let me know they were on route and would arrive at 9am which they did. Jose introduces himself, did a walk around the apartment to assess the job and then got right down to business.

They commenced the job in the living room then worked their way through the rest of the space. I was present during the entire packing process and they did not skimp on quilting, boxing, plastic wrapping, taping, adding extra cardboard on the corners, dismantling any furniture that legs could be removed from like our dining table and foyer table.

We have some custom made furniture with curves including an oval wood dining room table, curved club chairs, oval lucite table, curved wood foyer table, a huge custom desk with an inlaid glass desktop, deco veneered bedroom set (dresser/ headboard/footboard) that needed to be taken apart so a lot of special care and attention to details to protect and prevent any possible damage to our furniture.

As I mentioned previously they started at 9am and were “wrapping up” at 2pm.

We required this move out, with our furniture going into storage, due to a leak that damaged our flooring needing us to unfurnish the apartment to be able to replace the flooring in the entire apartment.

Needless to say moving is stressful without having the added stress of dealing with insurance companies, moving into temporary housing, coordinating contractors....etc.

I also want to give a shout out to Ryan, the salesperson I dealt with, for his follow up and the confidence he had in the movers professionalism, competence and attention to detail. This “Roadway Crew” were excellent.

Lastly, I got FOUR moving quotes and checked reviews on Google, Yelp and Angie’s List. I got 2 mover referrals from my insurance company and the other 2, Roadway and another company, from my own research.

Roadway BY FAR was the least expensive of all the movers AND Roadway had 4.5-5 star reviews consistently.

Richard, James and Francisco were amazing. We had some items that were oversized and difficult to move. They were never bothered and made sure that we were taken care of 100%.

They packed all of our items with care and were a pleasure to talk to as well.

Overall, this was the best moving experience we’ve ever had.

It was our first time using a moving company in general, so we didn't really know what to expect. However, the moment Roadway Moving guys stepped into our apartment we were surprisingly shocked how professional and efficient the whole team was.

Danny, Victor and Eduardo brought all our stuff downstairs super fast (that fell like 15 minutes) and also helped us to pack a few closets and put everything from our bathroom into to the boxes (they even wrapped all delicate pieces separately). It was so nice because we were able to focus on other things and even have a coffee break in the meantime :))

We honestly couldn't be happier with the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a stress-free moving experience :)
