This was our second time moving with roadway. Yes, thats how INCREDIBLE they are! We moved during this unprecedented pandemic COVID -19 which is terrifying in itself but the team at Roadway moving put us at ease. We were their only move of the day and they arrived 30min early!. Huge plus for me.
The truck was fully sterilized and they arrived with masks , gloves and booties. They were sanitary and maintained their 6 feet social distancing from me and my family. They were organized and efficient with such a wonderful sense of humor to make light of a very stressful time! We also have many complex large pieces of furniture and art that are difficult to maneuver. The Roadway team came with creativity and delicately lifted and packed our chandelier and wall hangings as if they were crowned jewels! I cannot recommend this company enough and I know that if we move again, we will certainly be using Roadway. - Sincerely, Iz & Jase

From the “Black Family Crew” (as they told us they like to be called) in New York, to the delivery/assembly crew in Florida (Julian Martinez & Robin Madera), Roadway Moving is by far the very best we’ve ever seen. Their A+ rating by the Better Bussines Bureau(BBB), Angie’s List, Newsweek,etc is the best evidence that you’re getting the very best there is. No need for family & friends to look anywhere else when it comes to moving.

We recently dealt with Alex, a sales specialist, who conducted a Zoom meeting to go through our apartment for an estimate. He and Roadway were very professional from the beginning, especially with regard to answering our many questions very promptly. Alex was also very flexible as we were figuring out what to keep or donate, and he was quick to adjust our estimate accordingly. Recommend Roadway for their professionalism and responsiveness!

Moctar Kante, delivered my home furniture including breakables from NYC to Aberdeen SD in the agreed time. He kept me in touch with the moving details. He assembled my bed set and the dresser. Non of my things was lost or broken. I highly recommend this company.

Roadway moving did an exceptional job for our move from Midtown Manhattan (and picked up more things from our storage along the way) to our new apartment in New Jersey.
They were professional, efficient, and managed to do the ENTIRE move from 9am to 6pm, which was just amazing! And we were moving into a loft in NJ, Alon (not sure if I mispelled?) and his team found a way to move 3 wardrobes and a couch up to our loft!!
Even though we're in the midst of a pandemic (like many people are), Roadway movers were professional and made us feel assured that everything is done safely with masks. I've moved several times in NYC and Roadway movers are by far the best company I've worked with. We were truly amazed by their work and super happy with the move. 100% recommend!!!

I had big plans to force friends and family to help me move out of state, and then COVID-19 happened and it all went out the window. I spoke to several companies and Roadway had the kindest employees, the best pricing for the small amount of items I needed to move, and by far the most positive reviews. I'm so happy with my decision. I wasn't looking forward to my move at all, but they made it a breeze. Extra special shout out to Howard, Sheke, Andrew, and Sam for answering a million questions while they worked and helping me stay calm. Best movers ever.

Professional and friendly, my scheduled move on Saturday 6/27 went smoothly from start to finish. Roadway movers was very professional, responsive and packed all my large stuff (ex. bed frame, mirror, etc.) better than I ever did in previous moves! They showed up early too (which I love because moving day wasn't dragged on) and we were able to get everything done fast! Really appreciate the efficiency during my two part move!

I booked Roadway last minute after a failed attempt to use U-Box. Very happy with the choice I made, opting for quality and professionalism over a customer service nightmare. It was a cross-country move of a 1-bedroom apartment from New York to California. The movers arrived on time, were efficient, friendly, and ultra careful with packaging all of our stuff. A short 10 days later everything arrived in Los Angeles and was unpacked with similar ease to the packing in NYC. Communication was easy and fast -- overall 10/10 will use again if I move back to New York 😅

The crew came in and basically re-wrapped our entire apartment because we had done such a bad job on our own packing boxes. They were incredible! Seriously they packed up and moved out our entire apartment in NYC in 3 hours, then unloaded everything to our new place in ATL in no time at all. Moving is a nightmare but it was truly awesome and a seamless experience with Roadway!

I had to move out of my two bedroom (5 story walk up) apartment due to Covid. The roadway team was quick to call me with a price estimate - very reasonable! After booking they called to confirm. On the day of, the driver arrived 10 minutes early to assure parking. The team arrived in their gloves and masks, even provided masks for my husband and I (which we did not need as we already had our own). They were kind and quick. Will definitely use them again next time.

Today was the second time using a moving company for a move and based on my first positive experience with Roadway last August, I chose to use the same moving company again. While the last move was from a shared two-bedroom in an elevator building to a walk-up studio down the block, this move was moving out of NYC to a new place in central New Jersey. To make a potentially complicated move even harder, I couldn’t be in the city for the move. However, Roadway assured me this wasn’t a problem — they arranged to meet my superintendent, packed up the apartment on their own, loaded up the truck carefully, sent me pictures of the emptied apartment and drove everything over to New Jersey before meeting me at the destination. I was impressed by Roadway’s communication, professionalism, safety and speed throughout the whole process (especially in the time of COVID-19) — from planning the move with Angie to day-of logistics with the movers Cristian and Ishmael. Once again, I’m blown away with Roadway’s service and will use them again for my next move!

I used Roadway Moving for my out of state move from New York to TN and it was incredible!! The movers were on time, quick, incredibly thorough with making sure everything was taken care of. I had a pretty last minute move in the middle of Covid-19 and they were quick to respond and answered any concerns I had. The movers came with masks and gloves and kept their distance the entire time. They kept me updated on when my things would arrive in TN and it actually came much quicker than I was expecting! This was by far the most seamless move I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

📦 We went with pack and move which was a DREAM! These guys are EXCELLENT packers they honestly packed better than I ever would have taking great care to protect fragile items and write IN DETAIL the contents of each box.
📦 They were FAST! They spent one day packing the entire apartment (and y’all know I got a lot of dresses 😂) and loading the truck (about 9am-3pm) leaving only the bed then they came 9am the following day and moved everything to the new place and were completely wrapped by 12:30pm)
📦 They were incredibly communicative - from the estimator who did the estimation via Zoom to price the move to all the movers, everyone was very respectful and communicative throughout the process. When they arrived to unload at the new apartment they asked where each item should go and diligently put each box in the proper place to make it easier for us to unpack.
📦 They use very high quality wardrobe boxes for all my beloved clothes which have a hanging bracket on the box so the clothes are hung on the hanger inside the box and upon arrival to the new apartment they unloaded all my clothes into the closet!! What a joy to have all my hanging clothes already hung in the new place!

I had a great experience with Roadway! I'd been carefully socially distancing for so long and wasn't sure what a move would look like in the heart of a global pandemic. From Ruth's virtual in-home estimate to Marius and his crew arriving punctually in full personal protective gear, I was really put at ease. They used all new boxes and materials and were so careful with my belongings. I've moved a few times before within NYC and no other crew was this friendly or well-orchestrated.

This was the best moving experience I’ve had. They team of three guys showed up about 20 minutes early so they were ready to start promptly at 9. They were professional and extremely efficient. I had no idea they would be able to pack and move everything in 2 hours! Roadway is the only way to move.

OMG! This was the best moving experience from start to finish. Everyone that we talked to was professional and extremely responsive to all of my emails/calls. The movers showed up 30 or 40 minutes early to look at the space and started promptly at 9AM - the scheduled start time. The movers were extremely careful with all my furniture. It felt like they were packing their own things. They did not waste any time. The whole process took 2 hours which is amazing! The movers were outstanding and made moving as stress free as possible. I will never use another moving company.

We love Roadway Moving, we moved cross country and had a miracle happen. One box that contained my grandmother's paintings was missing from our delivery.
The movers spent the extra time looking thru each box to see if we could locate them with no luck, the delivery before us was to a photographer and he had a large number of picture boxes.
Our driver made a special stop back at this photographer's house to look thru those boxes again and found my box! They were delivered safely back to me today and I am beyond grateful for all the concern and effort our movers put into finding this very special and irreplaceable box.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Alon, Kimmy, and Tino were amazing! We had to move during COVID and Roadway provided us with a thorough plan, made sure everyone had protective gear and were practicing social distancing during the move. Their truck and equipment were super clean and they did not reuse bins or boxes for the move. They wrapped up all of our furniture with so much care and dedication. The overall move was quick and painless. We're so happy and grateful for everything that they did!

Moving is trauma (especially during a global pandemic) , but if I ever have to do it again I will use these guys and request Robert's team. They made this experience fun. They were fast, thorough, and took special care with our stuff. Thank you.

This was my first time using a moving company and it was by far the easiest move I have ever had. The movers arrived right on time and packed up my entire one bedroom apartment and had me fully moved into my other apartment in 4 hours. I highly reccomend this company they were very professional and packed everything very carefully and if they had any questions they asked me. This was all while the COVID-19 Pandemic was occuring. They arrived wearing masks and took every precaution to keep everyone safe. I will be using them for every move!

The agent handling my move was helpful, and the movers picking up my stuff in New York were great, but when I received my items about a third of the boxes were completely broken and torn open. Custom made furniture was destroyed, pieces from inside the broken boxes were missing, dishes were shattered. Every breakable item was wrapped heavily in bubble wrap, but it seems like the boxes had been crushed or seriously dropped. Really disappointed when unpacking, because everything up to pickup went smoothly.

Excellent services, I cannot imagine what this company can possibly improve upon! These people handle you belongings door-to-door, and do not sub-contract to vanlines which is super rare. Great price and professionalism, very glad I chose to move with this company.

These were the fastest movers I’ve ever worked with! The crew of three were so nice and professional. They did a great job and worked quickly, despite the fact I’m in a 5th floor walk up they didn’t complain once and made it happen within an hour! Highly recommend this company to anyone!

Because it's a long distance move, everything was wrapped with care, tagged, and entered into their tracking system which was very reassuring. I can’t praise this moving company enough. When I made an initial online request, I received a call right away and was guided through the entire process. Joseph had incredible patience and kindness. This is our fourth time moving in NYC (Manhattan) and the Roadway Moving company made it the best move yet. Due to a hectic travel & work schedule, we were totally unprepared and couldn't pack much of our 1200 sq. ft apartment. The Roadway team arrived at 9:30AM and immediately packed the entire apartment and began the move. By 12:30PM much of the apartment was already done. They packed by room and clearly labelled every item thoroughly. It made the move so much easier and set us up for success in our new apartment.

Checked out mentally. And was ready to start my next chapter. The men finished and I did one last walk thru old apartment, Uber it to my next home. The movers were already parked and unloading to start to climb 5 flights of stairs.
Nothing was broken, no walls scratched
Most importantly they were not hurt...
I sent them off with a big tip for each one

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Roadway. I have lived in the city for over ten years and have done numerous moves. My furniture is high quality and valuable so it needs to be wrapped and moved with care. My expectations were exceeded by Robinson, Miguel and Moises. They wrapped each piece with such care. I’ve moved many times and this was by far the best experience. They packed and moved my 5 person family and were awesome. Ben came to do a walkthrough (took only 10 mins) so I didn’t have to take pictures and try to explain everything or make estimates about the number of boxes I would have. The price they quoted was the price I was charged! I received a number of other quotes and it was a very reasonable price. The team that came was friendly, efficient, and careful with my things. Elon was the leader. They asked to make sure they were doing what I wanted during packing and moving. I asked them to switch something and they did it without question. Elon even suggested items to hold off on packing until the end so my little kids could have what they needed. And then they told me which boxes had those things were once we arrived at our new home. I highly recommend this company!

We moved from New York City to Columbus, Ohio and Alex and the team at Roadway made it so smooth! Because Alex did a walk-through before our quote I was confident that the price would not change and it didn't! Diego and his team were amazing packing up! We used Roadway for our move within Manhattan. Richard's crew showed up promptly at 9am and communicated with ys as they were arriving. I don't think I can fully do Roadway Moving justice in just a Google Review, but I can try! From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic, responded quickly, did everything to accommodate any changes or bumps that arose, and consistently went above and beyond.

Our move was full-service from Lansdale, PA to NYC but had a date change at the last minute due to our apartment building. Our move estimator and coordinator, Kevin, from Roadway accommodated quickly and happily, rescheduling the delivery for the nearest date possible. The movers arrived early both times, after Lucio, the team head, gave us a 30 minute heads up call. They were so sweet, upbeat, and helpful! They did a fantastic and speedy job packing everything but ensured everything was packed well at the same time. They delivered earlier today and everything was done quickly and cheerily once again, and our furniture and fragile items arrived safely and in perfect condition!

Overall, Roadway was such a pleasure to have move us. From start to finish and across every team, everything was done with excellence and efficiency! I can't recommend them more!

This was the best moving experience I could have imagined. Diego and his crew are amazing. We were moving within Brooklyn, so it all took place in one long day. My movers Cristian, Sebastian and Christopher did an incredible job moving all of my stuff today. They not only moved the things they were putting in the truck but they also helped me move my bed and my sofa out of the apartment as well as put all of my luggage in the car. Needless to say they went out of their way to help me without complaints or hesitations. The move was done efficient and incredibly fast without me having to lift a single item. Highly highly recommend this moving company and these movers!! :)

Service definitely exceeded expectations. We ended up having much more than the quote anticipated, and when we arrived at the new destination... the loading dock required them to use a ramp/ stairs (not anticipated!). The team was so easy to work with and they made it work! Super nice and hard working team, thank you!!

Robinson and his team did such an excellent job with the move. Very professional and friendly. The whole process from moving my things to storage, to moving into the new place went very smoothly. Robinson made sure each of the items on my storage list was checked off and in good condition. I am really happy with how everything went and I would highly recommend roadway.

Roadway Moving gets the job done! Richard and crew were on time, friendly and very helpful. They helped us finish up packing our remaining items, took care wrapping and packing all of our furniture, paintings, and knick knacks. Excellent and professional movers. They came on time, were kind and caring with my belongings, reassembled my bed frame without my even asking, and even packed up a few last minute things for me after I ran out of boxes--all of this on relatively short notice and just a few days before Christmas. We’ve had a couple TERRIBLE moving experiences since moving to New York 5 1/2 years go. ROADWAY, however, gave us an easy, SEAMLESS one! Three guys arrived 10 minutes early to assess the moving situation, and then by 9 a.m., they got underway. We were mostly packed, but they promptly wrapped the furniture and placed TVs, pictures, and plants in boxes to make sure they were protected. They moved quickly while taking extra care of all of our belongings. Within 4 1/2 hours, we were completely moved from Harlem to Downtown Brooklyn. They were professional, courteous, careful and appreciative of the drinks and tips we provided them. No accidents or hidden fees. Moving was a BREEZE because of them! We recommend, and will definitely be using, ROADWAY MOVING again!

We had an absolutely amazing experience. They arrived early, helped us pack up our few remaining items, and even took apart some furniture that wouldn't fit through the door in our new place. In addition to great service the crew were easy to talk to and made us feel super comfortable about our move. 10/10 would use them again!

Our crew of Cristian, Joseph, Sam and Jonathan were terrific. They were on time, friendly, helpful, and professional. Their time estimates of when the move out and move in would be completed were very accurate. They went above and beyond to ensure furniture was placed with care and exactly where we wanted it. I would highly recommend this crew.

I had the 'Opportunity' of moving my office this year right around the holidays and but out for bids from several companies. It was a short move in distance but very complex in execution we were moving 3 floors in one building to a large floor in a Class A building. Roadway came in with a professional attitude from the very start. Their bid was very Competitive amongst the ones I received. Danny Abehssera was my representative that handled all the contracts pre-move walk throughs, estimate COI and any other issue I could throw at him. We divided the move over the course of two weekends. Loading on Friday, and Unloading on Saturday Jose Rivera and his crew worked like they had just shown up for our move rather than been working all day long. Communication was great I would show Jose in the initial walk around what was going where (including our Servers which received top priority and excellent handling) was packed according to my wishes and was placed exactly where i showed the staff where is should go. The job went quick and fast with no complaints or issues. (Second day was Raining) They were even were so reliable I was able to show them what I wanted done on the second week, and I was able to attend the company Holiday party and return before they were done to give final OK. I showed up at the agreed upon time to find everything I wanted moved and everything I didn't not. 100% 10 Stars. Highly recommended for your office or home move. HIGHLY!!

If there were more than 5 stars to rate this company & these gentlemen, they would have them all. Shout outs to salesman Alex A. too. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was very responsive any and every time I expressed a concern. I’m a government worker and my husband is a Veteran - we’ve both experienced all types of moves and moving companies but this one by far exceeded them all. The team notified me ahead of time like clockwork and wasted NO time to get down to business. They were very friendly and professional. Hands down would hire and recommend these folks over and over again!

Drago and Miguel were wonderful! Responsive, detailed, and went the extra mile for our company. They packed, disassembled and moved all of our belongings in a very timely manner. I usually don't write online reviews but the service from Roadway was outstanding and really deserves one. The onsite quote was quick and easy (and gave me a flat rate so there were no surprises the day of my move) and Ruth didn't bat an eye when I made several adjustments afterwards. Our movers (Walter, Antonio, Juan H., Jose H. and Jose P.) were kind, quick, and careful. They continually asked us questions about where things should go and how furniture should be arranged to ensure it was just how we wanted it, and worked without complaint even in the pouring rain. I've used other movers in the past who were fine, but these guys were genuinely nice in addition to being good at their jobs. Hopefully I won't be moving again anytime soon but I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I've moved within NYC 6 times, and my experience with Roadway Moving was hands town the best I've had, by a long shot! Even before the actual move, the customer service was incredible helpful, efficient, informative and friendly. The scheduling process was easy, as well as receiving the necessary COI. Moving day itself was a complete breeze. My movers were Alon, Kimmy and Mandale - they were all very friendly, professional, and took great care of my belongings. Everything remained in perfect condition. Couldn't recommend Roadway Moving any more!

Unreal! Unsurpassed! attention to detail! exceeding expectations! Jose Rivera and his crew did a huge job moving me from the city to hudson valley and were finished in my building moving delicate and heavy boxes (an entire library) without exaggeration 4 hours before deadline!!!!!! in all seriousness these Vets are strong healthy well rested polite and even swept the floors when they were done! look no further these bc are the men for the job!
