Can we talk about moving? It is stressful and I am past the age of inviting some friends to help us move and the payment in the form of a pizza and soda.

My husband and I recently found an apartment three blocks away from our apartment and our busy work schedules would not allow for us to rent a truck and move our own items. Roadway came recommended by a friend and it was the second-best decision I made this month next to picking our fab apartment.

The movers arrived on time, wore masks, and practiced social distancing the entire time. We opted to pack our items but we had several miscellaneous items when the Roadway team came and they quickly boxed those items in a SUFFICIENT amount of padding to protect our values. We have a two-bedroom apartment and they were able to pack up the whole apartment in under two hours. The team took about an hour to move our belongings into our new apartment and even offered to take some of the boxes we broke down during the delivery.

Using Roadway allowed me to have a stress-less day so I could focus on the larger tasks associated with moving.

My experience with roadway moving was like no other, they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The movers were very courteous and were sure to follow all COV-19 safety precautions. They arrived on time to both the pick up and drop off locations, handled all my furniture including frames and mirrors with great care, and even helped us pack a few last minute things. I cant imagine ever moving without roadway movers and will be sure to use them again on my next move!

The movers were friendly and professional! They checked over all of my boxes with me to make sure everything was packed securely. I really appreciated that especially for the dishes! They also helped me remove furniture so that it could be picked up by the department of sanitation.

Roadway moved me from my first NYC apartment to my second! I absolutely couldn't have been happier with the service. I truly had no idea what to expect. I was blown away by how thorough they were planning and during the move. I selected the service for them to pack and unpack my belongings. Nothing was broken, damaged, and everything was packaged in an organized manner. The movers were respectful and very efficient. They were cautious of all safety precautions, maintained social distance at all times, and were very friendly! My movers with Roadway made the experience moving in New York so seamless. I was worried about having to do this by myself, but the three movers seamlessly were in and out within a matter of hours. They made sure everything was extremely protected in transit, placed and re-built furniture, and cleaned anything they brought in. I cannot recommend Roadway enough! All CDC guidelines were followed as well.

I first heard about Roadway Moving through social media and when it was time for me to move, Roadway was the first company that came to mind. From the very first conversations up til move day, everyone on the team was communicative, friendly, and efficient. Used Roadway twice over the last year and a half. Both times had them pack things like bulky furniture and paintings, and some kitchen supplies. Took the pressure off an already stressful event. They show up on time, get the job done quickly and professionally, and we'd definitely hire them again.

I was so impressed by Roadway from the start ! Their organization is impeccable. From the check-in phone calls, to the email confirmations, starting from the day I booked to the day of my move... made me completely stress free! I especially loved how on time and efficient their movers were! They came in , explained how it all was going to go down & executed beautifully! I am 7 months pregnant, and felt completely safe having them in my home wearing their masks correctly & practicing social distancing. I would recommend and use this company again & again !! I was blown away by the professionalism of this company. The attention to detail, follow-up and customer service I encountered was seriously better than other business has ever provided. I’m not just comparing Roadway Moving to other moving companies. I’m comparing them to all businesses as a whole. They were impeccable to work with. The owner has created something special, especially in an industry that isn’t known for its customer service. I hired Roadway to pack up my entire apartment and move everything into storage. I did not lift one finger. They took inventory of everything and had photos to back it up. The movers arrived an hour early and were waiting outside patiently until I asked them to come in. They made the moving process actually pleasurable.

Roadway Moving made my cross country move from NY to LA so much easier! I was extremely stressed about such a long distance move, and Roadway made me feel assured and at ease. From the pick-up in NY to the drop-off in CA, all items were scanned against an inventory list and labeled, and all my furniture was packed with care. They even created a custom crate for my 75" TV, and double-taped all my boxes. I couldn't have felt more secure and wouldn't trust a long distance move with any other moving company!

My family had a great time moving with Roadway Moving from Los Angeles down to Orange County. This was our 7th move in the past 8 years and we wish we had found them way back for our move #1. This wasn't an easy move going from the steep hills and many steps of Laurel Canyon down to Orange County and a brand new 3 story home making sure not to ding any of the new walls and railings. All which was a success!!

Gary, Carlos, Felipe & Luis worked so hard and diligently the entire day and late into the night and even returned a few days later for more items that didn't fit into the truck.

They were kind and pleasant to be around during the whole experience. As you know, moving is exhausting and will put you at your wit's end, but having nice guys like the Roadway Moving team helping you every step of the way made the experience so much smoother.

Also, the Roadway Moving team made sure to provide clear communication and checked in before and after the move to make sure everything was done correctly and assist with any final questions if needed.

Thank you again Roadway Moving and now we are gladly looking forward to staying put for the next few years, but whenever that next move presents itself in a few years then we know who we will be calling to do the job.

Roadway moving is the best. I never thought I would be excited about a moving company as I figured how can moving companies be different? They are detail oriented, responsive, polite, and customer oriented. The customer care staff would call me everyday to see how the packers were doing and if I had any questions. The staff was phenomenal: they asked questions during the packing and worked efficiently as a team. The items were wrapped, sealed, and protected which you can’t experience until you hire them. All the employees were polite, courteous and efficient. They even drew pictures on the moving boxes which were already clearly labeled. I highly recommend them and trust me I’m very picky. You will not be disappointed!!!!

This was our first time using Roadway, and I’m so glad we did! Chris was our lead, and he and his team were incredibly professional, responsive, and timely. They took extra care with all of our items, and even packed away some of our extra items and clothes for us. They were also great at navigating the narrow streets of NYC with a moving truck, despite excess traffic and street parking on the day of our move. I will definitely recommend Roadway to anyone moving within the NYC area!

I hired Roadway to move out of 5th floor walk up building - and they did so with ease and efficiency. Chris and the crew were so professional - they arrived early and made the whole experience stress free for me. Also want to mention my sales agent Scott who was a pleasure to work with in setting up the logistics of the move. I will definitely use Roadway again! Thank you all!

Implied tip was mandatory, Tip your movers! But it IS optional!

One computer monitor stand was bent / warped.

Many boxes were put upside down and sideways when I had asked them to be careful of that for all my boxes, i had them all labeled. They also put many boxes on top of fragile boxes that were flagged at “top” boxes so they wouldn’t be smushed. (“Top” is different than “this way up.”)

We did have one box of dished break, not a huge deal, something breaks from every move. (The guys were upfront and honest with me, polite and professional for how they handled this. It was not a big deal and they were expecting me to flip out, and were clearly appreciative when I didn’t. Always sad to see people expecting to be yelled at.)

They also did not fully reassemble everything, no a huge deal and nothing I needed power tools for, but not what I expected.

Scratched the floor a little and did scuff a wall when the salesperson had implied there was floor and wall protection. There was nothing extra done.

Salesperson also stressed corner protection- there was nothing special that they did- wrap in blankets and plastic wrap.

Our move took about 4-5 hours. They were efficient and a group of nice guys. I’ll probably look for a different company next time, but doubt I’ll have a much different experience. Moving in general is annoying 🤷🏼‍♀️

Used Roadway for my move last month and I was so pleased with the service, the professionalism, and ease of moving. Luciano was patient and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Julio and his team showed up early and worked efficiently. They finished the move quickly - very impressive! I will definitely reach out to them for any future moves. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about this moving company! My Roadway team was awesome! They were on time, prepared with FIVE guys to pack my entire apartment, and were so thorough and caring with my belongings. I have an incredibly large wardrobe of clothes and shoes, and they packed it all perfectly like the experts they are! By the end of the day I was calling them My Wardrobe Gurus :-) Thanks again for a stress free move and a lovely experience!

I cannot say enough things about how amazing Roadway Moving is! From the moment I called them to get assessed, to the day of the move, to after, they have been the most professional and amazing movers I've ever had! A cross country move is typically associated with an incredible amount of anxiety and all my fears were mitigated once my lead mover, Luis showed up. He was incredibly attentive, packed up all my things with care, and was able to navigate my tricky hallways and staircases. We had all our stuff packed up and shipped off Friday afternoon and by Sunday morning our items had already arrived! It was incredible and I could not be happier with my experience. Worth every penny and prices were even lower than some other companies I talked to!

Moving with Roadway was the best decision I could have made. I'm usually stressed out and worried about making sure my things are wrapped and transferred appropriately but I didn't have to worry even a little bit with these guys! They arrived prompt and made the entire process seamless. (Also super friendly and nice!!)

They arrived right at 9:00am (maybe a little before) and I was fully moved into my new space by 11:45am. I can't express how nice and friendly they were, too.

Roadway Moving made our move smooth and stress free. We sat back and watched as they came in in safety gear and they all practiced social distancing. All the moving blankets were brand new and clean. We felt very safe and taken care of.

They handled all of our boxes and furniture with care and make the full experience easy! If you are looking to make a move then Roadway Moving is the way to go!

I was extremely disappointed at the way Roadway took care of our move in the pandemic. My fiancé and I are both now sick with COVID and all signs are pointing to our move. One person was not wearing their mask correctly, one kept taking his off and another to my shock was not wearing one at all. Instead of 3 people moving our belongings there wound up being 6 which we would have not preferred during COVID. Random guys just kept showing up and there was no communication more people were coming in.

Moving is already a stressful situation with a million things going on and I couldn’t rely on Roadway to do the bare minimum to keep us safe. Please be cautious.

Roadway was honestly the best moving experience I've had. The team was able to come early, they were super prepared with covid precautions and careful with my belongings. Friendly, professional, efficient, they were in and out of my new apartment in 45 minutes with everything unloaded and reassembled. Highly recommend for your move!

I used Roadway for my Local Manhattan move and they were beyond professional. They arrived early, packed everything, moved it, unloaded and unpacked everything except the kitchen (at my request so i could clean everything). They all wore masks and were SO fast - I moved to a walk up and the stairs were nothing for them. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Roadway helped me move from one apartment in Brooklyn to another. I lived in a fourth floor walk up and moved into an elevator building. In 3 hours they arrived, packed my belongings, got to the new apartment and unloaded everything including a massive sofa and dresser. The team was timely, the account manager was quick to answer all questions and they followed many safety protocols for COVID including using FaceTime to coordinate with me while I waited elsewhere for them to pack.

This was one of the shorter distance moves for me using Roadway however my experience is consistent across all of the moves. I would recommend this company to everyone.
Even when accidents happen the team was very determined to fix the damage best they could. A leg of a heavy dresser was cracked and not only did they glue it but they took the time to put in a screw to secure it. Once dried they used colored putty and made it look almost unseen. Look moving sucks no matter the scenario so I don’t stray from whom I trust with my possessions.

We used Roadway for moving within our same apartment building last weekend. They did an AMAZING job and far exceeded our expectations of a moving company. I had called a few movers to get quotes and one of my main concerns was we have the Peloton Tread and it would have to be taken apart - a service Peloton usually offers but suspended during covid. Roadway was the only company who assured me they knew exactly what to do - the others basically said they might not be able to move it or couldn't guarantee it would work again! This was a no brainer to go with Roadway. They also helped us mount and dismount 3 TVs. I was so impressed by how quickly they got everything out of our current place and into the new and everything was done flawlessly. They took all the covid precautions as well and felt super safe! I highly recommend Roadway for any moving needs.

It’s pricier than other companies, but it’s worth it. They were professional, efficient, super thoughtful with the space and my more fragile items and ultimately went above and beyond. I’ll use Roadway again for sure :)

I hired Roadway to pack and move my two bedroom apartment from Brooklyn to Virginia. I was consistently impressed with them, from the estimate process (done via video due to COVID), to scheduling, packing, moving, and unloading.

Their crew chief was highly professional and took great care with every item he handled. They were able to pack and load my entire apartment in seven hours, then unloaded at the destination in about four and a half.

Because I hired them to do all my packing, the move wasn’t cheap! But it was worth every penny thanks to their efficiency, care, and professionalism. And the final charge was slightly under the estimate!

Based on this experience I would recommend Roadway to anyone making an interstate move.

Editing a week and a half after my original review. Roadway was really impressive in their handling of our unfortunate damages. The agent who reached out was a pleasure to work with and we feel fairly compensated for the damages, plus it was all hassle-free on our end. I imagine accidents occasionally happen at all the best moving companies, and Roadway clearly excels in their handling of accidents when they occur.

We were the unlucky customers who had their posessions broken. While the team was halfway done unloading our things from their truck, they had to pause to circle around the block to let another oversized vehicle pass. They failed to adequately secure our remaining items in the truck before this drive around the block, and our expensive coffee table we love had it's top surface broken in half, a large framed artwork we care a lot about had its glass shattered (luckily the art was undamaged) and a large potted plant was completely destroyed.

We are currently in the claims process with Roadway, and they are attempting to fix the glass on our artwork in-house. The claims department seems promising, so I will update this review with more info and adjust the rating once all is resolved.

Note that aside from this mishap, the movers seemed very professional, friendly, and were clearly experts at moving.

Roadway made it EFFORTLESS for us to move across the country from NYC to Florida. I packed up my clothes and things I needed, but they did the hard work, packing all the delicate objects and furniture.
In a matter of hours my apartment was empty and then within a few days everything was securely delivered to my home.
Every single item is given a unique number, scanned in the system and double checked before it is loaded onto a truck, so there is never any worry about anything being missing.
I couldn't recommend this company more, and even though I don't plan on moving again anytime soon, I would use them, if I were going to.

The team at Roadway was such a pleasure to work with. Everyone was super helpful, responsive and extremely helpful. Moving can be so stressful and they made the process so much easier. The estimate I received was quick, accurate and informative. A week before my move they dropped off boxes with plenty of tape and supplies. On the day of my move, the moving team was clean and professional, they all wore masks the entire time and wrapped up all my belongings with care; they handled all my fragile items with extreme care too. They disassembled my furniture and wrapped everything better than when it was delivered when I bought it. On the receiving end in FL the delivery team updated me with their scheduled arrival and kept the lines of communication open. They showed up on time and immediately got to work and they left everything clean and in place. They took all the empty boxes with them and unloaded many of my boxes at an off-site storage facility neat and organized. I'd definitely recommend Roadway to all my friends & family and will use them again on my next move. Thanks again!

Just completed an NYC to NJ move of a heavily furnished two-bedroom apartment with crew chief Christain, and his four-person team: Chris, Ishmael and two Alexes. Can't say enough good about how well they managed a complex load in the City with tight serviceways and distribution of furniture and 60+ boxes to multi-level home in icy conditions after freak snow! All of this with absolutely not a scratch on anything due to astonishingly careful and skillful wrapping and crating and consistent extra care, particularly of items identified as valuable monetarily or sentimentally. No rushing, slamming, thumping, bumping or cursing. Just quiet, courteous, efficient and complete professionalism from all 5 team members. Have done lots of moves; this one absolute best, hands down. Not incidentally, all wore masks consistently and correctly, maintained distance whenever physically possible and used lots of sanitizer. Back office support and estimation process was great too, as was management accessibility for routine questions and last minute adjustments to the move. Hire 'em! Period.

Cristian and his team did a great job with a difficult move. They were punctual, professional, and seemingly able to bend the laws of physics in getting a big couch up a narrow set of stairs and around a tight corner. This is the third time I've used Roadway and would not hesitate to do so again.

I moved from NYC to Denver and used Roadway for my move. I'd never done a long distance move and wasn't sure what to expect. Roadway was fantastic. They made it simple, explained each step, gave a good quote, arrived on time. I'm glad I used them.
What's important to know is they are not a broker. They transport your furniture end to end.

We recently moved within NYC from the financial district to Chelsea and had a terrific experience moving with Roadway. Our team from Roadway was quick, efficient and took great care of all of our stuff, even up the stairs in a fourth floor walk up! They were also very extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure our experience was a good one. Moving during COVID was a bit stressful, but we felt safe the entire time and protocols were followed along the way! We will certainly use Roadway for future moves!

I've moved a few times over the years in NYC and I've done everything from loading up an SUV, packing out a work van, renting a u-haul with a couple friends, and hiring a couple people from task rabbit. Every time I moved was such a stressful experience that this time I talked my girlfriend into hiring a moving company. We reached out to a few places and they were all priced roughly the same, but Roadway had some of the best reviews so we went with them. Now I understand why, they definitely made the entire process much easier than we ever thought it could be.

They were quick to respond and did a virtual walkthrough to check what needed to be moved, once that was done they sent me a quote that detailed everything including the time the movers would arrive. We approved that, and Roadway followed up to confirm everything with me.

On the day of the move we were a little worried because we had more small items that we originally thought. We informed the movers and they contacted Franklin who had been handling the process and he reached out to give me an updated proposal for the additional items. The price was very reasonable, we agreed to pay the difference and Pedro and his team of movers had the entire apartment packed under two hours. All we had to do was travel to the new apartment and let them in, and direct the placement of items. They even disassembled and reassembled our queen bed, dining room table, and a 3 piece sectional. Rather than spending the entirety of a day struggling to move everything ourselves, we got to just relax as a team of professionals moved everything faster than we could imagine.

As much as I never want to move again, the next time I move I'm definitely going to be contacting Roadway first.

The guys that moved me were amazing!!! They were very nice and made my transition smooth. The process was on time and very speedy with care! I couldn't believe how quick they were. I love Roadway! And would never choose anyone else to move me across the country!

The entire staff wore masks and gloves upon entry, showing they prioritize health and safety. They were incredibly in depth with their description of the process of how things worked. Once the process began, the team had a majority of my things boxed and in the truck within an hour. Once we arrived at the end destination, the team handled all of my items with care and had them unloaded AND unboxed within 45 minutes. I was so pleased with the speed and care they took. Only way I’ll move in NYC going forward!

My husband and I had lived in the same apartment for nearly a decade since we first moved to NYC so naturally we were intimidated by the moving process especially considering we were making that move during COVID. As soon as our crew showed up and started the move, those worries went right out the window! We had three movers for our one bedroom who were very professional and extremely fast. They moved about 15 boxes, the TV, a bookshelf, couch, mattress, bed frame, and two dressers all in about 2.5 hours. Not only was the process surprisingly seamless, but their use of PPE made us feel comfortable having strangers in our new and old home. Thank you Roadway, 10/10 would recommend.

What a fantastic move during Covid-19! We were nervous, but the movers/Drivers were all in full safety gear and equipped with hand sanitizers, masks and gloves. They even had extra masks for us!

The move itself was also amazing - they took such great care with all of our belongings and everything got to our new home in perfect condition. Would use again for sure!

Easiest move of my life despite rain, double booked elevators, parking, and other challenges of a city move. Pedro and the rest of the team made it a breeze to pack, move and get set up in my new building. No surprise costs and finished hours ahead of time. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had to move across the country during the pandemic and was looking for a safe moving company that I could trust. I found roadway through some friends and was really pleased with how they moved me. They took such great care of my stuff and extra wrapped my furniture and TV's since they knew it would be a cross country move. They also followed COVID protocols and moved me out all on their own. The team was super friendly. I would 100% use them again and I recommend them to all my friends who are looking for reliable movers.

Roadway was not only professional, but they were over- accommodating. They actually refused to let us leave with anything but a backpack. They were very kind and everything arrived safely, in good condition, fairly quickly. They even put our bed together which would have been a gigantic task for me to do on my own.

Once you go Roadway, you don't go back! I'm never moving with anyone else. This was my first time using a professional moving service and WOW! The movers were SO quick and were so delicate to make sure nothing got broken, and even took apart and put together my bed frame for me. My in-state move was done, top to bottom, in less than four hours!!

This business is the worst. I chose it because it had great reviews. The only part that went well was the initial sales call when they sold me a bunch of lies. I overpaid for an experienced NY team to get out to Portland, OR to move my high end furnishings back to NY. I requested full coverage insurance prior to their arrival because I was worried about my items being damaged - in particular one expensive chandelier. The sales rep told me they would have crates for all the items I asked to be crated - some glass & marble table tops/ the chandelier, artwork - I even sent him pictures of the items so they would have the supplies on hand. The movers didn't lift ANYTHING. They rolled the items that were supposed to be crated down the hill to the truck. They flipped my very expensive couches down the hill. The shoved my nice lamps into boxes without removing the shades. I even took a video of them rolling an octagon marble table and sent to the company. I was overcharged for insurance and crates that I did not use. I wouldn't even trust them to take the chandelier after I saw this. They ran out of packing paper twice. When I went back to check everything to make sure nothing was missed - I found a cabinet of glasses. When I asked why didn't they pack - they said we didn't have the paper. I found some paper and began packing myself. They were just going to leave behind!! They were so rushed so the lead mover could make a flight - he packed haphazardly. The whole thing was unreal. Their customer service team says they will give $1k credit for crates - which I haven't seen yet. But that's not the point - the didn't even give me the requested insurance until day after the move, which was mostly to cover for the chandelier - so that was a waste of money because they didn't take it. They have been a nightmare to work with - $1,000 credit on a $68,000 move is a joke. Horrible service and treatment of items. I have such anxiety about how much will be damaged and broken upon arrival. Stay away from this company unless you don't care about your stuff.

The moving experience with roadway moving was great from initial contact to the day of the move everything went as planned. Richard and his team arrived on time and took care of everything plus more I would definitely recommend roadway moving and Richard and his team. Thank you for a such a great experience

Unfortunately I have to update my old review from 5 stars to 2 stars. We had a great experience with Roadway packing our apartment and putting our stuff in storage, but when we got our stuff out of storage after several months we found several pieces of furniture were damaged because they were either packed poorly or handled badly, and several items in boxes packed by Roadway were damaged as well due to poor packing: for example, 3 small framed pictures were wrapped together in one piece of paper with no insulation in between them, so the frames were scratched as they rubbed against each other. Moving is always hard, but in this case we chose Roadway at 2x the move price and 3x the storage price of other movers due to their reputation and did not get comparably better results. Once I finish unpacking I'll make a claim, but I'm not expecting much. Everyone at Roadway we worked with was very nice, and some were clearly professionals, but the results speak for themselves -- badly.

Our team Cristian, Ishmael and Sebastian helped us with a long distance move and were absolutely fantastic. So professional, communicative and accommodating, and we felt very safe and taken care of during the move. Their adherence to COVID best practices was perfect and they protected our belongings and furniture with great care and walked us through the paperwork and process multiple times throughout so we were clear on what was happening.

Jose and the Roadway team were amazing! We had a multi-day multi-pickup move and these guys were awesome. We hired them for packing, transport and unpacking. Organized, prepared, professional, on-time, pleasant and helpful. They were super careful with our more fragile and valuable items (we have a lot of valuable art). They were also neat, always cleaning up, protecting floors, etc...They were so friendly, they made moving fun!! They handle moves all over the country. We had a wonderful experience with Roadway and highly recommend them to anyone!

Excellent service. They moved our bulky furniture and heavy boxes in a torrential downpour and nothing was damaged. They took everything apart and put it all back together exactly where we wanted it. They were also very polite and friendly. They were pricy but worth it. Five stars!

We used Roadway for our out-of-state move and it was worth every penny! Christian and Sebastian were honestly the best movers we’ve ever worked with. They were professional, careful, courteous, and arrived early each day of our move. They handled every item with care, and made this process the least stressful as possible. We have had an amazing time using Roadway so far. The initial coordination and video walkthrough with Steven was beyond easy and he was more than willing to help me with any questions I had. On moving day, Richard’s team took an amazing amount of care with our belongings and we are incredibly thankful. For now, our things are headed to storage before moving across country but I have confidence that the rest will go smoothly. Highly recommend.

My moving company went dark on me two days prior to the move. Roadway Moving was unfortunately booked up but they suggested three different moving companies. You have no idea how much that is appreciated and you are staying top of mind for future moves and recommendations!

I used Roadway Moving from NYC to Long Island. I highly recommend their service! Robert and Anthony were extremely kind and very helpful. They made what could have been a stressful move into a very stress free move! I will definitely be using them again!

This was the second time we have used roadway moving. The first time we thought they were awesome and we were happy they still had competitive rates when we were ready to move again. And this time, we ABSOLUTELY LOVED them. They spent the time and effort to make sure our delicate furniture got to our new home safely. The 4 guys were friendly and respectful (wore masks). Really, they were like superheroes by the end though. Our boxspring wouldn’t fit up the narrow staircase to the second floor and the guy literally took the darn thing apart and put it back together. This probably took 2 hours keep in mind to take the fabric off, mark it up, cut through all the slats, get it upstairs, and freaking patch the whole thing into one solid piece again. I am so thankful for them. I have a cat and a baby and was super stressed about moving, but they made moving day as unstressfull as possible. SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!! We will 100% use roadway again next move!!!!

From my first phone call to the pack and load...top notch. Great customer service and care. Just waiting for delivery from NY to Illinois. The pack up crew were kind , courteous and helpful. You pay a little more at Roadway but well worth the piece of mind and the attention to detail. All employees wore masks the whole time. Wonderful 5 star service so far. Keep it up Roadway!

The crew that packed up my apartment was professional, careful, and detail oriented. They put me at ease and instilled confidence that my furnishings and belongings were in great hands. In particular, Richard the lead mover was friendly and caring and was wonderful to work with. I have done a few interstate moves with varying results. This team was by far the best team I have ever worked with. I will definitely choose Roadway for any future moves. Worth the price.

Roadway is the best! They were so fast and easy to work with. NOTHING was damaged. They bring all of the boxes and pack everything for you. They communicate very well before, during and after the move. We did a local move but they also have long distance moves. They took all the safety precautions for COVID. I could go on and on about how awesome they are. 100% recommend.

Everyone from Angie and Angelina in the office to Jesus and his team in NYC to Aaron and his partner that dropped our stuff off across the country were 100% professional, friendly and calm. It was our first time moving across country and the whole Roadway team made the move easy and stress free. I would highly recommend.

My daughter just moved from N.Y.C to San Diego,CA. We used Roadway based on their 5 star reviews. They did not disappoint and were great!! Pick up and delivery were handled by friendly and very professional movers. They arrived each time as was planned. We were worried after reading reviews about other moving companies and all of the problems people had with them. This was not the case with Roadway. Not one item was broken or damaged and the cost of the move that was agreed upon was, in fact, the final cost with no surprises. This move was made easy and stress free by Roadway. I would use them again without hesitation.

Roadway moving helped me so much during this pandemic. I could not travel back to NYC and I had just signed a new lease in Florida. The Roadway Moving team handled the ENTIRE move for me. They carefully packed all of my NYC apartment items, all while wearing masks and gloves. They even FaceTimed me during the move and updated me on everything that I had concerns about. This was my first out-of-state move, and I was a bit nervous, but the team made sure I felt happy and satisfied! All of my boxes made it to Florida within a few weeks! Not one item broke! They even put my bed together for me in my new Florida apartment. The team was professional, kind and friendly. Highly recommend them.

The movers themselves were great - but everyone in their office is incompetent. Was lied to over the phone by a supervisor telling me the wrong delivery day after I voiced my concerns of it being delivered that day. Would not recommend to anyone.

We had an excellent experience with Roadway Moving, this is our second time using their service and I continue to recommend to friends. Our first move was a local move but this time we went from NY-CA and we are so impressed with how professional and organized the movers were. They arrived on time for the pack up and loading of the truck as well as for the arrival of the boxes once they made it to California. Everything was perfectly in tact and packaged nicely with care.

We were hesitant to undertake this move due to COVID19, however Roadway made us feel much more comfortable about bringing a moving team into our home and new home. All of the movers were wearing masks and gloves and kept social distance between us.

Would definitely use them again!

I'm pretty sure the five stars for your service from other clients are all real. But I would sadly like to inform that I was very disappointed with the service from your Bronx location. I was going to use your service, but whoever is in charge of contacting the client is very unprofessional and rude. Needs to work on the way they speak to prospective clients!

Veteran Movers part of Roadway, moved us during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were on time, actually early, pleasant to be around, followed all COVID safety needs throughout the entire move. I used Roadway to move across country. From my 1st phone conversation I knew I was working with the best company! Everyone was extremely professional, so nice and cared about myself and my belongings. My movers showed up on time, wearing PPE and were so quick and careful with my stuff as they packed everything up. The move out of NYC was so easy with Roadway! We used Roadway for our move from Manhattan to Brooklyn and it was nothing short of seamless. They packed up our apartment for us and got everything there safely with nothing broken or scratched! They even went above and beyond when there was a dead bird (hope that isn't a bad omen) on the terrace of our new apartment and they disposed of it so we wouldn't have to! SO NICE. We had a dope experience with Roadway Moving. When I personally have to pack up to move, it's super chaotic. But Rich and team had it down to an art. They knew the exact box configurations and supplies they needed for everything: furniture, artwork, dishes and cups, etc.

My homie came through to hangout, and even though we were joking and conversing with Rich & co., they never slowed down the pace. They were all very personable and we had a good time.

The whole pack up (for our 1 BD/BR) took like 4 hours (about 10x shorter than when I do it myself). Then the drop-off only took about an hour total. This service is well worth the money due to time, effort and strain that you save.

Loved using Roadway for my move cross country. At first I debated shipping everything myself, but after talking with one of my friends who recommended roadway, I am so happy that I chose to tackle my move. The customer service agents were so helpful. Each email they sent was packed with all the information you would need and more. The movers for my move always showed up right in time or a few minutes early and didn’t waste anytime packing/unpacking my things. Highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again when I move back to the city.

Moving can be very stressful (especially in the midst of a pandemic) but Roadway Moving could not have made it more easy/safe!!! The team was right on time, extremely kind/professional and all of the movers wore protective gear and took extra precautions to keep us feeling safe. They packed up everything/cleared out our apartment in less than 3 hours, wrapped our furniture beautifully and worked tirelessly and quickly to get everything on the truck. 10/10 would recommend for your next contactless move!!! We were hesitant to move, even a local move, in the epicenter of the pandemic, but luckily we found Roadway Moving who was completely understanding of the situation and made this decision easier as our move date continued to change due to things out of our control.
Our move couldn't have gone any smoother. Roadway arrived on time, and even a few minutes early to get the boxes set up outside before coming to our apartment. We were told 3 guys would be coming to do our packing and move, but 4 arrived! Out of the 4, 2 were veterans of the US Army. We've never seen 4 guys work so hard and efficiently, while being sweet and attentive at the same time, and in 90 degree weather, and during the pandemic. It was obvious that these guys were true professionals, knew what they were doing, and actually enjoyed their work. Cleveland, James, Jason and Ishmael were great and Roadway was amazing! We will definitely be using Roadway for future moves!

My wife and I moved from NYC to SF in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic - perhaps the worst time in history to have a major life change afoot. Despite the very challenging operating environment - Roadway Moving delivered ON TIME and with no material damage to our belongings. I am happy to recommend Roadway to anyone moving near or far. They charge a slight premium to their peers but it is fully worth it for the piece of mind that their service provides. We had fairly nice belongings and I was beyond thrilled that NOTHING was really damaged.

Roadway generally executes moves through three teams - shipment, transfer and delivery. The 6 person shipment team that came to pack us up in NYC was excellent - led by Jose. They took great pains to wrap everything and carefully box the items so as the minimize the risk of damage in transit. In watching them it was almost as if they were packing their own belongings. Over the course of 7 hours they packed up our 1,500 sq foot apartment - never compromising on quality of packing in favor of speed.

Similarly the delivery team led by Mo showed up to SF in the throes of the COVID pandemic and carefully unpacked all our belongings. They only left when we were fully satisfied with the move. There was one particularly tricky piece of furniture from Design within Reach that we all struggled to reassemble. Mo and his team tried numerous times to piece it together and only left when we were happy with the result.

Also after some initial hiccups (understandable during COVID given overall dislocation, staffing issues, work from home adjustments), the customer service team led by Chakira and Sharline did an excellent job of communicating with us on timeline and effectively managing our expectations.

I would rate Roadway a 10/10 and will be using them for all my future moves.
