Roadway Movers are terrific. Walter, Juan, Jose and Antonio did a fantastic job moving my belongings! They were prompt, professional, courteous and thorough - exceeded my expectations. Can’t say enough good things about this team. Also, price worked out ahead of time and no last minute add ons. I highly recommend.

I chose this company over other similar quotes as the inventory questions I was asked when getting my quote were the most thorough. I was asked follow up questions that really helped me assess the size of my move and made me confident that I would not end up with any surprise up charges. Our delivery team of three arrived on time and worked quickly. They were all very professional and enjoyable to work with. The big move went until 7:30 pm and the movers encountered difficulties parking their truck on a narrow street to unload. Never did they complain or stop doing what needed to be done in order to get the job done, including moving a pile of trash bags out if they way. (They were careful to put on plastic gloves before going back to touching our items). Highly recommended!

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about my move with Roadway. The movers that came were extremely professional and experts on all our different items that needed attention. We didn't worry once about anything breaking or going missing - they were very diligent and considerate to the high stress situation surrounding a move! This was seriously the best move I have ever had. I have moved 3 times in 5 years and nothing compares to my experience with the team at Roadway. They were super efficient and accommodating. I was very stressed out about moving apartments, especially since my old apartment was a 4th floor walk up on a busy block with limited parking. Drago and his team arrived early to look for parking, but ultimately had to park at the end of the street and carry everything to the end of the block. However, they still moved everything out efficiently, wrapping all larger furniture to ensure that nothing broke. Once we arrived at my new building, the loading dock was quite busy and the team had to wait at least an hour to get access to the freight elevator. As it was right before Thanksgiving, I felt bad that they had to wait around for so long but they did not complain at all and were very professional. After that the team quickly reassembled my furniture asking where I wanted everything placed and helping discard of the large boxes before leaving. If I had used an hourly mover, the move would have cost me hundreds more. The flat fee through Roadway was definitely the way to go. I couldn’t have asked for a more professional and pleasant team to work with. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a moving company!

Cristian, Christopher and Joseph were an awesome team and made our move go smoother and more efficiently than I expected. They were unphased that our 2 boys under 10 climbed all over their truck and played with the dollies - which meant we could get on with last minute packing. They were punctual, polite, thoughtful and always communicated what they were about to do and when they needed feedback from us. Not a single item was damaged and all our furniture was perfectly assembled and in place within an hour. This is the second tone we’ve moved with Roadway and I would highly recommend them.

They arrived right on the dot. Packed everything we thought could break. Took apart the bed, a hammock stand. Packed our pots. And moved everything out super fast. All while being super nice. The unpacking was very similar. Everything is now in the proper room. Things they took apart are now ready to use. Great service. The price is flat so there is no worrying about the time.

Very easy to work with from start to finish. The process to get a quote from Ken (and update after packing) it was painless and with quick responses. The movers (Richard, Nick, and Juan) that came the day of we're skilled and professional. They walked us through the whole process, carefully packed all of our things and we're super efficient. They were recommended to me by a friend who was also doing a cross country move and I will continue to recommend them as well.

This was by far the most amazing moving company I have used! From the first phone call in with help on my moving check list from Angie to the actual day if the move. Absolutely incredible service. One of the movers named Richard along with 2 other roadway movers did a wonderful job packing up my kitchen with care. They packed my whole apartment with care as if it were their own! On 11/25/19, Robinson Cardenas, and his team of movers did an exceptional job with my move from start to finish. I live on a 3rdfloor walk up and Roadway Movers remained professional throughout the process without taking breaks or complaining. I was really impressed never experienced anything like the professional movers from Roadway that we’re assigned to my move, even down to the paperwork was thoroughly explained. To say the least, I will be using Roadway for my next move if the price is right!!!. 💟

I can’t say enough about how great this move was thanks to Marius and his four man team. Not even a glass or cup broken, super fast workers, utterly professional and friendly. Sure Roadway is fairly price but the efficiency, courtesy and low stress made it well worth the price. The team moved us from a three bedroom Manhattan apartment to a similar one close by. I know this sounds almost too good to be true, and actually it almost was! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

I had an amazing experience with Roadway, working with them on a cross country move from LA to NY. I had a few fragile furniture items and they packed and unpacked them meticulously (including large mirrors and a marble topped credenza, all arrived unscathed and placed in the rooms of my choosing). I was impressed with their speed as well, my 3bedroom in LA was packed in under 3 hours, and the unload on New York (including assembling, unwrapping, and placing furniture) took under an hour. Moving is such a stressful experience, but Roadway made it as painless as possible. All the moving staff was incredibly kind and professional. I’d highly recommend to anyone, either within NY or out of state!

This was BY FAR the best experience I’ve ever had with a moving company and crew. Roadway Moving is shockingly good. They arrived right on time. Cleared our entire home in under 3 hours and we had a LOT of stuff and loading out was inconvenient because of stairs and layout. They even fixed a chair leg that was broken before they got there! When we arrived at the new location they loaded in quickly and efficiently. Every person on the crew was kind, efficient, professional and just generally trustworthy and easy to work with. The foreman, Jose, is a dream come true when it comes to moving. He removed a banister AND replaced it perfectly so that we could get our box springs up to our bedrooms. I cannot gush enough about how wonderful, fast and (shockingly) painless they made this move. Thank you, Jose and crew and Roadway!!! THANK YOU. If you need to move, use them. You absolutely won’t regret it and you’ll have the best moving experience in the world.

A first rate experience. Crew of 5 packed our apartment in Manhattan on day one and three of the five delivered our furniture and furnishings 350 miles later the next day. The crew was a pleasure work with. Goods were packed with care and delivered without any problems. Every person was a delight to know and work with. I would use Roadway again in a heartbeat.

The guys did an outstanding job over the course of our two day move. They were incredibly professional and courteous - showed up early both days and were extremely neat as they went about their work. If you are contemplating a move I would highly recommend Roadway

We had a fantastic cross country move from NYC to LA with Roadway pick-up crew led by Jose Rivera. They arrived early for our full pack move and took great care with all our belongings at two pickup locations, and arrived in a very new-looking truck. They also expertly crated some fine art for us and I liked their corner covers (had never seen those before). I will definitely use Roadway again. Thanks Jose!

We chose Roadway's full packing/move/unpacking service, and couldn't be happier that we didn't have to re-live the past stress and burden of previous moves that involved us having to purchase all of the moving materials (boxes, protective paper and blankets, countless rolls of tape, etc.), pack up all of our our stuff, unpack it all at the new place and then grapple with what to do with all of the leftover boxes and packing materials.

Alex Artimon, the site estimator who came several days prior to our scheduled move date, quickly—but patiently—went around the house and created an inventory of our move. He clearly knew the logistics of how to move, and given the ease with which he was able to quantify our move, and translate it into something that could then be priced, and breakdown how it would all happen logistically on the day of the move, as well as the day prior to it, when all most of the packing would take place, it wasn't hard to believe his tales of experience on the truck and in the field for many years prior to becoming an estimator. Despite a minor discrepancy between the handling of a relationship discount between Roadway and the building I was moving into, Alex honored, in good faith, the pricing I believed I was entitled to. This went a long way toward fostering good will with him and with Roadway. He followed up every step of the way, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with Alex again during a future move.

The packing and moving crew was headed by Roadway Supervisor Jose Rivera, whose stellar reviews on Google, Yelp and beyond are in no short supply. Jose was personable, yet confident—and competent—and his presence throughout the move served to provide a feeling of reassurance during such a stressful event. Jose and his crew were positive, respectful and patient, and experienced and skilled professionals in the logistics of residential packing and moving.

Apart from some damage to my stoop during the move of my baby grand piano (which they didn't report to me, but nevertheless did their best to repair with a bit of Krazy Glue), a jar they broke (and also didn't tell us about, but that I didn't care about), and the remains of quite a bit of glue on our couch legs from the packing tape used to bundle them together after being removed during packing, Jose and his team did an incredible job, and I wouldn't hesitate to use the packing and unpacking services of his team for another move in the future.

Ross S. (Roadway's owner)—you need to give Jose a raise post-haste! And a bonus, too, should the option be available to him as part of his compensation package! Thank you, Roadway, for making things easy during such a difficult time.

The move went perfectly. Roadway helped us plan the move and provided accurate information about what to expect and the costs. Marius and his team came on time and were just great - very professional. They took time to pack and handle our belongings with care. They were easy to work with and kept us informed about what was happening along the way - they never did anything without checking with us first. They did what they said they would do at the price we were quoted. We plan to use them for any future move.

A three -man team (Roman, Julio, and Diego) moved me from a one-bedroom in Jersey City to a similar apartment in Brooklyn. This is our 2nd time using Roadway and they were an absolute pleasure to work with both times! They have a courteous and knowledgeable administrative staff who does a great job at making sure all of your needs are met and questions are answered up until the moment you move. Their pricing is very fair and extremely reasonable based on the service they provide. Both crews were incredibly helpful and respectful even despite the backbreaking nature of their work. Given the fact that I'm 6 months pregnant, it was a true relief that the process of both moves went as smoothly as it did. No damages to anything! Super friendly and efficient crews. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND OVER ANY OTHER MOVER OUT THERE!!!! I did extensive research...simply put, calling anyone else is a waste of your time.

I have moved over 13 times in my life and dreaded it every single time because of how stressful it always was. Roadway moving made our move from apartment to home so stress free and incredible. I actually got to enjoy the excitement of being in a new home. The team, Alon, Kimmy, Mandale, Livingstone, and George were so thorough and wonderful. They not only packed our apartment from top to bottom (I’m talking everything from our couch and desks, to clothes, to pots and pans, to my face serums!) but they moved everything in so swiftly and unpacked our items so we could place them where we want very easily. I just finished my second moving in NYC with Roadway Moving.
I was very satisfied with my first moving and didn’t hesitate to hire this company again.
For my first moving, movers came late because earlier scheduled job wasn’t done on time. However they completed my moving in time. Coop buildings in nyc have strict house rules, but they completed it on time by having more guys.
And my second moving today was done smoothly. Again my building had strict rules. Movers came on time. Arrival window i requested was 9-10am, confirmation department accepted my request and movers really arrived at 9am! Two gentlemen were VERY VERY POLITE and carried all packages very carefully. This was a moving into newly renovated apartment and we put papers and paddings on the floor. They only stepped guided walkways and didn’t even leave a mark on new floor. OMG best movers ever!
Customer service and sales rep were all great! When i call with questions, whoever took my calls gave me clear answer.
I highly recommend this company to any one in the city. I’m very difficult and picky client ( my contractor hated me) and I’m satisfied!

We had to across state lines. It ended up being very complicated because of how much stuff we had accumulated and they need to also move a piano. The folks who worked with us to set up the move were transparent and honest and worked with us to meet our budget. On the day of the move the group of six men came well prepared, they were kind, supportive, and exceptional. I took immaculate care of our things, we’re kind to us and my two little girls, and were efficient and professional every step of the way. It felt like a white glove service through and through. I would never work with another company again.

Jose and his team were great! They were on time, very professional and took good care of our stuff. Moving can be extremely stressful but Jose and his team made it seamless for us. If you need movers, Roadway Moving comes highly recommended!

FYI: long distance move from NYC to SF. Brian and Willy were a great duo in packing up our 1 br in about 2 hours. After assessing our items, they got to work right away. They were focused, meticulous, and careful throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

After being burned many a time by different moving companies, I was anxious and very hesitant to move yet again - this time across two apartments, and across states and into Jersey City.

From the moment I inquired about the move, Milos did an incredible job coordinating and pricing my move reasonably for what it was. (Planned very last minute, and was a lot of moving parts).

Cristian, Jon & Sam moved me from Manhattan to New Jersey yesterday and I was incredibly impressed. As someone who has never hired a moving company before I was very anxious and nervous about my belongings being moved. Especially since I had to drop some things off at a storage unit before my final destination. From the initial sales call with Angeleena, to going over inventory and to the actual move, Roadway moving has blow away my expectations. Cristian is a hard worker with such attention to detail. I trusted him and his team every step of the way with my possessions. They were quick, professional and took such great care of my things. The bubble wrapped everything going into storage as I was nervous my things were going to get ruined in a storage facility. The price was fair and they even went BACK to my storage unit after my move was supposed to have ended to bring back some boxes of gifts I had received that we’re taking up space in my apartment!! If you want your move done right and at a fair price I would 1000% recommended Roadway and especially Cristian and his team!!! My husband and I can’t wait to use them when we purchase our first home. It’s one less thing I have to stress about! Very happy customer!

We hired Roadway for an interstate move and were extremely happy with their service. They packed a two bedroom apartment and moved us all in one day. Everyone on staff was brilliant and professional. My moving experience was the best. I literally did not lift a finger. Moving is so hectic and such a production and unfortunately life doesn't stop while we move. Roadway packed every single thing, wrapped everything with extreme caution, and unpacked everything. I am extremely satisfied!

My family and I moved last week and used Roadway for our move. There are no words to explain how amazing our team of movers were. They were efficient, kind, and didn't break a single thing in our 4 bedroom home. They even let my 2-year-old daughter check out their pink moving trucks. I highly recommend Roadway. I have nothing but amazing things to say about my recent move with Roadway. I was seriously traumatized from using a different company in NYC for my last move and was so nervous. However, Diego and his team absolutely went above and beyond. I moved from Brooklyn to Weehawken (2 bed, 2 bath) and they started at 9 am and were done by 2:30 pm. I was completely shocked and cannot recommend them enough, esp Diego;'s team. Our last experience took over 12 hours because the movers continuously disappeared...moving is stressful enough without worrying about the reliability of the crew. Cannot recommend Roadway enough!!

Roadway made my move 10x easier and left me and my roommate totally stress free! Moving (especially in NYC) can be such a hassle and is always stressful, but the roadway team assured us they would take care of everything for us and make it as easy as possible, and they definitely delivered! The three men who came to pack up and move out my home, especially Roman, were exceptionally kind, capable, professional, and helpful. I feel very grateful for them! Also Angie, who I booked my move with was equally kind, professional, and helpful. I've not received my things yet as that is going to take some time across the country but the booking, the packing up, and the moving out was easy and smooth due to Roadway. Every person so far has been really wonderful and I'm grateful for that.

I cannot recommend this company enough! The Roadway team is absolutely incredible and very sweet. The team showed up right on time, packed up my apartment (very carefully), and moved everything into my new one only in about four hours. I even had class this day so I couldn’t be there while they moved everything but I was stress free since they were able to take care of everything while I was in class. Great experience. Roadway showed up on time the morning of my move. Rafael, William, and Raldy were very professional and handled all my furniture and boxes with care. My girlfriend and I used Roadway to move our one bedroom apartment in NYC. They were awesome! They came in, moved all of our things to the truck (down 4 flights of stairs), drove it across Brooklyn, and had everything unloaded in under 3 hours total. The guys were super friendly and professional and took good care of our things, which is all you can ask for when moving in New York. I'd definitely recommend them!

My husband and I used Roadway to pack and move out of our apartment, store our belongings for three months, and into a new apartment. When I reached out for a quote, they came out to our apartment to give us an accurate quote and even helped us schedule a move during off-peak timing to help us stick to our budget. During both moves, they arrived right on time and made moving as stress-free as possible. Everything (including a glass bar cart) came back undamaged and they even put everything back together that they had taken apart for the move. Hopefully we don't have to move again for a long time, but if we do we will be using Roadway Moving again.

On Moving Day, you already dealt with the stress of packing and being on time for the move day, the last thing you want is to worry about the movers. We had none of that nonsense with Pedro and his team. Professional, competent, expedient. They really take pride in their work and work as a cohesive team. It was a Navy Seal grade operation.

I am naturally a very anxious person and was dreading moving, having moved 5 times in NYC before. Roadway was the best decision I have ever made. They moved everything I had quickly and with great care and the entire process from booking to the actual move could not have been easier. You're quoted based on how much stuff you have and the distance/amount of stairs, not by the hour, which I liked a lot better because I didn't feel rushed and the inventory list made me take stock of everything I have. If you have to move, choose Roadway.

Sales representative Ryan was very patient with going over quotation process, and Moving team members of James, Shaka, and Howard were very accommodating and courteous during the moving process. The Moving team arrived early, explained paperwork very thoroughly, and finished the whole process in a timely and efficient manner. I was very impressed with the whole process and I really appreciate all of members who were involved.

We moved from NYC to Westchester in late August. The team, lead by Alon, and supported by Kimmy, Jose, Mondale, Ismael, and Andres, was AMAZING. They arrived early, packed our entire 3 bedroom apartment very quickly, arrived in Westchester 5 minutes after we did, and unloaded very quickly. We did not need to lift a finger. We have been unpacking for the last three days and have not found one broken item! I cannot stress enough how great this team was. furniture moved to two different locations but Roadway made the moves go smoothly. Excellent work!

We hired Roadway to help us with our one bedroom move and paid for a partial pack (the kitchen and small bar). We spent three years in our last apartment and have accumulated way too much stuff. We could not have been more impressed with the service. They insisted we enjoy our coffee and relax on the couch and that is exactly what we did — with ease. As we went to unpack our stuff at our new apartment the care and consideration they took for each and every item was abundantly clear throughout every box they packed.
The whole pack/unpack took 9 hrs. It would have taken us days.
All-in-all, everything has been accounted for and every piece for art is in perfect condition. I hope I don’t have to move for a few years, but if I do I’ll be calling Richard and his team at Roadway.

Chris and his team were amazing! They arrived early and worked every minute/second they were helping us with our move. Highly recommend them. They were so professional, so speedy, and efficient. We moved out of a 5th floor walk up and they did such a fantastic job. We can’t thank and recommend them enough!!

My experience with Roadway was 1000% positive. After scouting out several competitors, I landed on Roadway because of the attentive and consistent customer service. I needed a two bedroom walk up apartment packed and moved into multiple drop off locations. I had expensive and heavy furniture and a lot of personal fragile items. Having worked in logistics for years, I expected a lot in terms of professionalism, efficiency and work ethic. Roadway over delivered by a landslide. They were punctual, polite and extremely hard workers. I had a team of three; Chris Alvelo, Eric T, and Shawn H. Additionally, Angie in sales ensured all changes and updates were made on time and I felt comfortable at all stages of my move. I could not be happier with this experience and recommend Roadway to anybody who is looking for sanity and peace of mind during the transition of moving.

Cristian, Daniel, and Sebastian recently help me move apartments and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. They were efficient and professional. They managed to get a giant sofa out of our tiny doorway and didn’t break a single dish or glass. They made a hard process a little easier. Thank you guys!

Danny and his team were friendly and professional. I was happily surprised by how quickly they performed the move, and they took great care of our belongings. They handled everything-- parking, bagging our mattress, protecting our tv. Great experience. Highly recommend!

There are cheaper options out there but they made life so easy and you get what you pay for. I strongly recommend their service!

Moving with Roadway was a really great experience. After living in my shared 2-bedroom apartment in NYC for 5 years, I hired Roadway to help me move into my new studio apartment down the block. With a limited time window to move (9 am - 4 pm) and one of the buildings being a narrow fourth floor walkup, I was worried about the logistics of how it would all work out. The relocation consultant, Angie, assured me this wouldn't be a problem and thoroughly answered all of my first-time NYC moving questions. On the day of the day of the move, the three guys, led by Josef, arrived right on schedule at 9 am and were finished packing and moving my belongings out of the first apartment by 11:45 pm. Soon after, they arrived with the truck at the new apartment (the walk-up) and were done with all the moving and reassembling by 2:30 pm. The team was reliable, efficient and treated my belongings with a lot of care. Even with complicated furniture like a heavy standing desk and my photo backdrop set-up, the team had no problem disassembling, moving and reassembling the items in the new place. Overall, I am very impressed with Roadway Moving and would highly recommend them to anyone moving in the NYC area!

I contacted Roadway to help me pack and move from Manhattan to New Jersey based on their great reviews on Yelp and I’m so glad I did!!! I was overwhelmed just thinking of how I was going to have to move everything my husband and I had accumulated over the past 45 years. Then Lucio, Raul, Mark, and Angel arrived and took over packing and moving for me and saved the day. It’s difficult to even describe how great they are. They are so professional, fast, and handled everything with such care as if it was their own; and made it fun in the process! Just awesome !! Roadway team arrived early and even said we could relax and let them pack for us. We were packed up , moved out, crossed state lines and back in our own bed the same day! The guys were literally running around.
