We had such a great experience with Roadway Moving. The movers were punctual and worked quickly and diligently. I was very anxious about our moving day because moving can be a huge undertaking, however our day went by so smooth! My husband and I couldn't stop talking about how fast they moved! I loved working with Roadway for my CA to TX move. John was incredible at facilitating the move and consultation, a truly kind guy. Carlos who packed up my CA home was a ray of sunshine and had a wonderful attitude. Linda helped me with a claim and was beyond understanding. Overall, they made this entire process much less stressful. I appreciate all of the kind personalities I met along the way!

I just used Roadway Moving to move all my belongings across the country! I was incredibly stressed out move out day but once the Roadway Team arrived they took over and made it an easy day. They wrapped my furniture with such care. As part of my package I also got some wardrobe boxes from Roadway which I recommend to everyone! It made unpacking my closet super easy.

Who's ever heard of an out-of-state move that is quick, easy, and painless?! And yet, Roadway Moving made my move exactly that! Allen was my initial contact, and my contact all the way through - thorough, friendly, professional, knowledgable, so very patient, with great follow up! Absolutely wonderful!! Also, I was so lucky to have Shaka, Horris and Kevin as my movers! They're skilled, have great ideas about how put way too much stuff into small apartments, and in general, they were kind, calm, and clearly very experienced dealing with people who are stressed out about a move! :) So glad we found you, Roadway Moving - and if I move out of state again, you'll be the people I call. Roadway Moving made my move an absolute breeze. My boyfriend and I felt overwhelmed and underprepared to move and the guys from Roadway got us out and into our new place quickly and without incident. They were also both very nice and polite. I couldn't imagine a better experience, if i could give 6 stars, I would! Use Roadway Moving, you won't regret it!

I had the most amazing moving experience of my life thanks to Carlos and his team. They were so hard working and took pride in what they were doing. “We’re at your service!” was said with a smile at the beginning and end of the move. My belongings were packed as neatly and efficiently as possible, while also being careful to protect all of my important furniture pieces with blankets and plastic wrap. People like Carlos is what Roadway really excels with. I’m so glad I picked these guys!

I have only used roadway to move since I first used them a few years ago. I recommend them to everyone I know who I hear is moving! The movers are personable and polite, they treat your items as if they are their own. I used them first in New York and most recently to move across the US to LA. Roadway moving was amazing during our move from California to Tennessee, they came on time, packed the truck very quickly. They even laid down a rug so they didn't track dirt in! We were told it would be about 2 weeks for our items to get to us in Nashville, and they actually came early! It was raining pretty hard when they were unloading everything and the movers were so kind and didn't mind. They were very careful with our items, we had a very fragile baby grand piano and they carefully wrapped it and made sure it was damaged while unloading. We were extremely impressed!

I am so grateful to roadway moving for making this such a stress free experiment, moving is tough but they made it a lot easier, I cannot recommend them enough!

Roadway Moving made it so easy for me to move all of my furniture from my home in Florida to my new apartment in New York. The movers handled all of my belongings with care and even wrapped and protected my furniture to ensure no damage happened during the moving process. As a first time mover, this was such a breeze and made it so seamless to get my things across the country. I worked in furniture logistics for years and have seen it all when it comes to movers and Roadway Moving is the BEST of the best. I know how scary it can be when putting your valuables in the hands of strangers. I'm a vintage collector, so nearly all of my pieces are one of a kind and worth quite a bit of money, so this move was something I was dreading.

Roadway took so much care in packing every single piece for my move from Brooklyn to Miami. I've just finished unpacking everything and not a single casualty—that's something to celebrate.

Both teams (packing / unpacking) were so helpful and had the best attitudes. Everyone was super organized and the delivery team made sure all pieces and boxes were accounted for and furniture was unwrapped, reassembled, and positioned before heading off.

If I ever have to move again, there's no one else I would trust with my pieces.

So glad I chose Roadway for my recent move! It was the best moving experience in my 10+ years in NYC. From getting a quote to actual move, everything was so smooth and stress free! Hands down the best moving experience I have ever had!!!! Osvaldo and his crew treated our home as if it were their own. From the very beginning, Gabriel’s calm and assuring voice helped me to put my trust and faith in the expertise of the company. I had a few unusual requests, like storing boxes down the hall because my apartment needed to be "show ready" because it was on the market! I was assured that wasn't a problem and any other questions I had were answered quickly and succinctly.

I had a move today,10/6/21, and I had a great experience with Roadway Moving. They came on time and made my move seamless and super quick and easy. I literally did nothing as they packed everything for me and transported it into my new apartment! They even built my bedframe for me which was so nice of them. I truly recommend their moving company to anyone looking for movers. They are the best!!!

(I partnered with Roadway for my move but all opinions are my own). This was my family's first big cross country move and Roadway made the experience a lot less stressful. The crew of 6 guys showed up on time and were very friendly and helpful. Our Foreman was especially kind and made us feel at ease with the whole process. I was also impressed with how they wrapped and packaged our items and furniture. Overall, we are very happy with the move. Our only complaints are that they forgot to pack up one of our small bathrooms. So we ended up having to get rid of all the items in there because we couldn't take them with us. Luckily, the items were not valuable or sentimental so it wasn't a huge deal. The movers also left one of their drills behind. I wish one of the guys had done a final check of the apartment to make sure they had packed up/cleaned up everything. But other than that I feel like the whole process went smoothly and that our items are secure in the truck.

After a ton of research on various moving companies for long distance, we decided to go with Roadway for our move and I am so happy we did! From start to finish, the process was easy and exceeded every expectation we had. Diego and his team made everything effortless for us. Richard and his team from Roadway Moving made my move from Mineola, NY to Williamsburg, NY an absolute breeze. They were prompt, professional and friendly and they were very accommodating and helpful with last minute things that I needed help with (for example, they moved all of my separate hand weights and kettlebells, wrapped my lamps, art work and TVs, provided wardrobe boxes and other resources as needed). I would use them again in a heartbeat!

From start to finish the team packed everything so quick and Made our move very smooth. I expect moving to be difficult but this time it was easy. They handled every thing with care and most of all packed everything so quick it would have taken me a week.

I used Roadway Moving a couple of days ago and it was an absolute masterclass when it comes to moving.
The movers were extremely friendly and really took care of everything, packed, wrapped, rebuilt furnitures… it was really stress free and extremely efficient.

We just moved from NYC metro (NJ) to LA with Roadway. Overall, I was very satisfied! I have a 2yo boy and the decision to move across the country was very sudden. As you can imagine, I was very stressed and believed it wouldn't be possible to move in such a short notice. Thankfully, Roadway helped me all along and they made the move an enjoyable experience for me :)

We did a virtual tour of our apartment, and they offered a competitive quote very quickly. They provided a certificate of insurance as mandated by our building, and were very professional - arrived in time, took all necessary health precautions for COVID-19, and finished earlier than I expected. They packed everything in the apartment with care, and all furniture was wrapped with blankets, tape, wrap and corner cardboard.

In the end, a day I was dreading proved to be a day I had fun watching the Roadway movers and truck with my little son!

Pricy but worth the piece of mind. Inventory was done via in person walk through. Movers accommodated changes and additional requests. Waldina was in charge during loading and delivery, she was excellent - took pride in getting the job done right, ensured all our needs were met, very professional. The crew was hard working and followed all of our directions. Overall everything went smoothly and on time.

I’m so impressed with Roadway! They were very communicative during my consulting process and did a FaceTime of the place to get the right pricing. And there were no hidden fees - or showing up day of to ask for me (which I know can be common for nyc movers). On the day of the move, the guys were on time and ready to go and Richard & his team were amazing. They made sure it was stress free on my part and got the job done in under 3 hours. They wrapped my furniture and handled my fragile items with care. Don’t hesitate and make sure you use roadway for your next move - and ask for Richard & his team!

Roadway made my least favorite thing - moving - easy. I used them yesterday to move my things from storage unit to my new house. My only regret is that I didn’t use them to move my stuff into storage the studio. I didn’t know about them yet, and so I used movers who had good yelp reviews and who’s hourly rate looked cheap, but they were slack and sloppy, and it ended up costing the same amount anyway as Roadway’s absolute WHITE GLOVE service. Roadway were so easy to communicate with, so careful with everything, and went above and beyond!

Roadway is great! So professional and responsible. The customer service is impeccable with excellent communication and the movers themselves are incredibly diligent and detail-oriented. I just moved this weekend with the help of Andrew, Salamanca and Eusebio, and they made my moving experience completely painless. Very professional and job well done. Thanks so much!

I HIGHLY recommend roadway. I am doing a cross country move and wanted to make sure I found a reliable company to trust with my things! From start to finish they took such good care of my things and even going the extra mile to put down protective carpet to protect my wood floors. Easily the best moving company I have ever worked with! The office and technical aspects of the move were so professional, transparent, and communicative. The movers themselves were incredible - very kind, efficient, and prompt. Waldina was a godsend - it was refreshing having a woman as the point person throughout the day for the move! Can’t say enough how wonderful our experience was - will definitely be turning to Roadway for any future moves and recommending to everyone we know.

Can’t recommend these guys enough if you have an upcoming move! My husband and I moved cross-country from San Francisco to Boston and the entire process from consultation to delivery was so seamless. We went with their full-pack service and it was worth every penny (they packed EVERYTHING for us, we literally did not pack a single box, so were able to enjoy the last few weekends leading up to our move instead of being stuck at home packing). Communication is key with a big move like this and despite the fact that we had so many moving pieces on both ends of our move, their customer service team was fantastic and never failed to provide me with updates or answers to the numerous questions I had along the way. On moving day, the teams were quick, efficient and so careful with all our furniture! Roadway is the most professional (and fun) moving company you’ll come across. They took all the stress out of packing & getting all our things to our new city safely — there’s no way we could have survived this cross-country move without them!

The movers did not complete the move and abandoned my couch on an NYC sidewalk.

I paid $500 extra in advance for the movers to disassemble and reassemble my couch because my new building has narrow doorways. The sales rep repeatedly assured me that the movers would be capable of doing this during the move. However, when the movers arrived on Saturday at the pickup location, they said they couldn’t disassemble the couch, and they would call a carpenter while they were driving into NYC to meet us at the drop-off location.

When they arrived at the drop-off location, they told me that they had not called the carpenter at all. They moved my boxes into the apartment, then finally decided to call the carpenter, but they told me that he might take 2 hrs to arrive. Instead of at least trying to move my couch into the lobby, they left it on the sidewalk and took off, leaving one young guy behind to stay with the couch until the carpenter arrived.

No carpenter ever showed up.

After six hours went by, my father and an elderly porter in my new building helped move the couch into my apartment. They shouldn't have been put in this position, but we had no choice after the three, young, professional movers couldn't be bothered to do it.

Roadway doesn't have customer service after 3 on Saturday (or at all on Sunday) so there was no one to help us. The foreman who left was the only one who answered his phone, but all he did was tell us that a carpenter would eventually show up. I asked if he had a backup plan if the carpenter did not make it to us, but he had no plan. Even the young kid they left to wait with the couch just got one text saying the carpenter would be 30 min late, then no further communication.

Days later, no one from Roadway has reached out to make sure the situation was resolved.

Best case scenario, this business is shockingly incompetent and highly disorganized. Worst case scenario, this is a scam. Either way, don’t waste your money.

I am writing my first google review ever because I want to share the great experience I had with Roadway Moving. I had to do two moves, one to move out of my old apartment, then putting my furniture and boxes in storage for a few weeks, and moving into a new apartment. Roadway Moving took care of storage and all of my things came back in perfect condition. When my lamp was having trouble during reassembly, Andrew and his team (Salamanca and Eusebio) went the extra mile to take it to the warehouse and brought it back perfectly fixed. For both of my moves, the crew was communicative, on time, and very efficient. I had extra boxes I needed during my first move and they were prepared with wardrobe boxes to help complete the move. I really appreciate the crew that made my move so manageable!

I highly recommend Roadway Movers! I recently moved from New York to Connecticut and everything went seamlessly. They were accommodating when I needed to change my moving dates, were efficient with packing, and even helped dismount tv's at our hold home and remounted them at our new place. They were on time, so fast, and handled my entire move with such care! They had my entire apartment boxed up and on the truck within a couple hours and swiftly delivered my belongings to my new home! All in all I would definitely recommend Roadway Movers to anyone looking to move and needing an efficient/capable team to get the job done!

One star for hard working road way movers.. the rest is horrible, especially for the delivery. This service do not worth the $3800.

1, Delay delivery for couple days(beyond the delivery windows) and really bad communication, only inform me of the exact window ONE day before..Roadway said will compensate $25 each day. my time is more valuable than that!

2, Floppy delivery. Helper did not show up and let the driver do all the works. As much as I appreciate drivers hard-work, it is not the service I paid for. For example, I found two "cap" on the ground and figured it is from the TV stand... I also found the wheel on the ground and later discovered it is from the chair...

3, Water damaged delivery: this is not only damaging my item, but also super gross... it smells so bad... more ironically this is a fragile box. For the kitchen ware I don't even know if I should use it anymore. All the computers, camera, monitor arm, vaccum, are smelling very bad at the delivery. Apparently, the leakage happened all the way from New York, and my items was in the water for 3 weeks..

When I did the quote, Roadways has the highest price, yet they fail delivering the basic service.

Ongoing claim process, but I am sure this will take forever and at most roadway will come up with couple hundred dollars refund and still earn a lot more money for this type of service.

Our Roadway moving crew set an incredibly high standard for moving. Chris and his team went above and beyond in every way possible to make sure our move was smooth and efficient, and were friendly and communicative during the entire process. I can’t describe how different the move with Roadway was from every single other moving experience we’ve had. I will never, ever use another company and would recommend Roadway (and specifically Chris and team) to anyone/everyone.

I recently used the services of Roadwaymoving and I have nothing to say but great things on how amazing my experience was! I have moved a few times and this one by far was the best moving experience I ever had! The team was so professional and helpful! They provided me with lots of boxes to pack all my belongings a few days before my moving date, then on the day of my moving they finished up packing all my glassware, mirrors, frames and sensitive items very meticulously to make sure nothing would break. They dissemble my bed and all my furniture, I didn’t have to lift a finger! If you’re looking to have a stress-free moving experience, don’t look further, they will take care of literally everything for you, from moving all your items from your old place to going to your new place reassembling everything back for you. This is the third time we’ve used Roadway Moving and they exceed expectations every time. Extremely professional and courteous crew - this time led by José Rivera. They had us all packed and unpacked in less than 8 hours, while taking extra care with all our stuff, including kitchen, heavy furniture, delicate art etc. Jóse (aka Building Bob) went above and beyond to fix light fixtures and a desk that needed repairs. The movers extremely professional, quick, kind and very respectful with my belongings. When they brought my items in they did it with care and when they were done moving the items inside they put it certain items I’d requested in its proper place. Great movers and worth every dime.

Roadway was incredibly organized for my local move. The sales representative and I had a zoom consultation to see what items needed to be moved. He was very quick to respond to all questions and concerns. On moving day, they were perfectly on time. They had four men and they wrapped everything safely with a lot of tape and blankets. I moved from a third floor walk up to a one floor walk up. They worked with each other very easily. No mishaps while carrying any furniture or boxes. They took their time on the stairs so they wouldn’t fall or trip. They were wearing masks. They completed the move in 2.5 hours. I subtracted a star because they didn’t use the corner protectors which I was hoping for; didn’t protect the floors and didn’t wear gloves. But that can be fixed on their next job. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

I've moved a lot in the past several years, but my move a couple of days ago with Roadway Moving was by far the smoothest. Richard + the team were right on time at 9am in the morning, and got all of my boxes and furniture out of my old apartment in the East Village within an hour and a half. From there, I met them at my new apartment in Kips Bay, and they had everything there within the next hour and a half.

All of my furniture and boxes were transferred safely with no breakages, and Richard + team also helped me to break down and re-place my furniture. The team was extremely friendly and helpful and I felt super comfortable having them handle all of my things. Also, the team wore masks the entire time, as an extra COVID precaution.

I would absolutely use Roadway Moving again in the future, and can't recommend them enough!

Wow, very fast! I was not 100% packed up when they arrived and they basically just stuck the remaining stuff in boxes and wrapped it up and we were done!

Wow, I cannot rave enough about Roadway Moving! This was the first time I used a moving company and even though it was a local move for me, I was still blown away by the service. The movers were not only timely, but were friendly, professional and efficient. They also took care of all assembly, disassembly, packing and unpacking, which made my life easier. Overall, it was a stress-free moving experience and they are the dream team that I didn't know I needed!

I had such a good experience with Roadway Moving. I have been living in NYC for almost 10 years now and i had to move to places at least 5 times already. Moving process had been always stressful for me I have to think about million things: boxes, packing, vehicle, put together furniture, etc. With Roadway moving i didn't have to think about anything. Guys made such a good job with a providing excellent service. Customer service is on top of everything as well.

Roadway is the absolute BEST moving company in the NY area. This is my second time using them in 2 years. We have a little one, and were leaving our apartment in the city to move to the burbs. Without any time to pack ourselves, we enlisted the help of our Roadway team. They were on time, professional, and managed to be INCREDIBLY efficient while also taking great care of our belongings. They brought a team of 6 rockstars, and made our move seamless and stress free. We probably wont have to move anytime soon, but if we do, we know who to call!

We just used Roadway Moving to fully pack our NYC apartment for our move across the country. It was so amazing! A crew of 5 super friendly guys showed up right on time and assessed what we had. Very quickly, they had everything packed securely and well organized. You’ll get a bunch of barcodes on each box that identify that it’s your stuff. Quick and easy! Now we are heading west and will meet them out there! I would highly recommend this service, especially the full pack. It is so worth it!

This was my 3rd NYC move and my 12th overall move and I have never had such an easy experience. I was absolutely blown away by the responsiveness, professionalism, and careful work done by Roadway Moving. They moved my 1BR apartment in NYC with ease. They were early, efficient, and fast/hard workers. The men who completed my move were thoroughly kind, friendly, and respectful! And Roadway even called during my move to check-in and make sure it went smoothly. The whole team was attentive and helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better moving team.

For having a really busy schedule, we needed movers who were going to pack up everything for us and make it less stressful and that's exactly what they did. They packed our apartment in 4 hours while we were able to continue to work and didn't have to lift a finger. They delivered it safely and even helped unpack some things. Not only did they take incredible care of my items (both fragile and not fragile) they were extremely communicative about their arrival from LA to NY and didn't take a moment to hesitate when I had to change the plan last minute & have them help me move into a storage unit. I was extremely, extremely impressed by their professionalism and kindness. I've heard so many horror stories about the moving experience and roadway singlehandedly made my move cross-country pleasant and enjoyable. forever loyal to roadway!

I got stuck in another state because of the pandemic and was so grateful Roadway movers moved me out of my place so seamlessly, everything was stored safely and they took care of everything when I was ready to move back, great bang for your buck!!

Roadway was excellent! They arrived on time, packed everything quickly, moved everything to my new apartment and could not have been faster. The whole process took less than 6hrs and as someone who has always moved themselves it was well worth the money to avoid the moving day stress.

Had a terrible move with Roadway. I have moved 5 times in my adult life and this was the worst and most unprofessional (in small doses). The scheduling and support to book the move was good, except for our delivery window that was a month, could show up the 10 May or as late as 10 June. The packing crew was professional and nice. Once the move was underway, no status updates or delivery windows until 2 days before. We ended up missing a few boxes, externally damaged boxes with broken glasses and some records, as well as dented furniture (corners). The delivery movers also damaged our new place, ~$1k of repairs. Once the second half of the payment was completed, Roadway customer service went from good to terrible. I will not use roadway again.

I have used Roadway twice now and they were just fantastic! They moved me out of an apartment and did a full packing job into my storage facility and just moved me out of my storage into a new apartment. When I unpacked everything it was so well packed that I didn't have one broken item! They were absolutely incredibly helpful and removed all my used boxes. I will definitely use Roadway again and highly recommend them!

I've moved many times over the years in NYC, and I used Roadway most recently. They were by far the most professional, kind and fast movers I've ever worked with. Their team was also in great spirits and made the process fun, which is something I couldn't imagine a move every being. They wrapped everything very professionally and took care of everything - it was so stress free, I did basically nothing. They also de-assembled my bed frame and re-assembled which was so nice. Nothing was damaged in the slightest, everything was handled with the utmost care. They really take care of you! Thank you Roadway, I'll be surely working with you again!

Roadway was absolutely fantastic! The team was both professional, on time and incredibly responsive. We had a smaller move, but they handled it in no-time! Roadway is the best moving company I have ever used - will never use another! I was downsizing apartments and happened to be traveling on my moving date so I hired Roadway to do my move for me and they were incredible. I have a lot of vintage and fragile furniture that I’ve collected over the years as well as tons of plants and I was really careful about who I chose to do my move. I found Roadway after a ton of research and after being referred by a few friends and could not be happier with the communication from them throughout the planning process, their responsiveness every time I reached out with questions, and their transparency with pricing.

They dropped off boxes a few days before my move based on the size of my apartment and on the actual moving day my boyfriend didn’t have to lift a finger. Besides their efficiency and professionalism, the team of 5 movers was so nice and charismatic which made a stressful time enjoyable.

We were provided a quote for 72 hrs over the phone and then called back in less than 24hrs later only for the quote to go up over $2k and then they tried to “compromise” by splitting the difference. Beware of very shady business practices and changing prices at time of booking.

Showed up on time, did all the work, packed everything very nicely, not even a hint of damage on anything, and were responsive to my needs. When we got to the new place, they unloaded everything exactly where we wanted and even offered to move things around as we decided where everything should go. Fantastic work and a very friendly group and company to work with. The move felt fairly effortless. Would highly recommend.
