Moving in NYC is stressful, overwhelming and all the above.
Fortunetly for me I had Roadway Moving help me have the easiest most hassle free move I have ever had, not only was the support team on the phone super knowledgable of what I needed but the movers that helped me were super cool. I will 100% be using them again and think everyone should too.

We recently moved neighborhoods in Manhattan and used Roadway Moving. I could not recommend their team enough. From the moment we contracted them they were super communicative about the scheduling and process. The day-of they arrived early to help finish packing our furniture, and took great care of our white sofa and art. If you're in New York ask for Diego + Crew because they were the BEST -- so professional, hard working, friendly and awesome. I would 10/10 hire them again for our next move.

I cannot possibly recommend Roadway enough. I used them to pack and move about two miles across LA. The entire team was responsive, fast, friendly, and beyond careful with all my items. I truly can't recommend having them pack for you enough -- they made my move so much less stressful!

After years of DIY/janky moves, I treated myself to Roadway’s moving services last August & had the most amazing experience. 10/10, would recommend! From scheduling to move-day, they are incredibly organized & communicative. I especially appreciated Gabriel’s patience with me as I get incredibly anxious when planning moves. The movers were VERY efficient—I think they managed to pack everything from my 800 sqft apartment in roughly an hour or so. They even discarded my AC units for me. All of my boxes & furniture were delivered with the utmost care, & the staff were respectful & on-time.

We had another fantastic move with Roadway today! Justin set us up and was available for all of our questions and changes leading up to the move. And George and Julio were super heros on the big day. They took great care with our things and were both super friendly, patient, and communicative. Unbelievable what two men were able to accomplish in under four hours! Worth every penny. Raz, Iuri and Juve from Roadway facilitated my move today and the service was beyond impeccable. They each took such care packing and moving my items. The move took them longer than usual because of their concern for my precious items. It was a seem less move not to mention they were very professional and knowledgeable. I’m very pleased with my service today and will recommend this company to family and friends.

Mitchell and the crew rolled up 15 minutes early. After a brief meet and greet. We did walk through of the house and assessed what needed to be moved. The process was as smooth and seamless as it gets. When Mitchell was running the show. His nonchalant and professionalism shined like a rising star ⭐️. I lived on the 4th floor of a walkup in NYC! My stairs we're very narrow and steep which made me nervous about having to move my valuable furniture out of there. Roadway was a life saver!!! Request Diego and his team if you live on the east coast- they created custom fitting protections for all my odd shaped items, put protective edging on all corners and sides of mirrors, dressers, bookshelves etc. They were efficient, cautious, meticulous and so knowledgeable. They also protected my apartment as to not scratch the floor or bang up any of the walls! It looked brand new when they left. My items are on a truck headed 3,000 miles across the country and I'm confident that everything will arrive safe and sound with the level of care they used while packing.

Wow where to begin! I’ve used moving companies before and the professionalism from roadway so completely unmatched. Every employee from planning to packing was kind, quick, and efficient. They were also so thorough and cautious! I was only moving a sofa (but an expensive one at that!) and wanted it done properly. Roadway did not disappoint! They used plastic wrap, furniture pads, rollers, and my sofa arrived and was put together in absolute perfect condition. If you don’t want to lift a finger nor worry about the safety of your items from start to finish, roadway is definitely the way to go!!

My move from Los Angeles to NYC was not without a few minor bumps (nothing major, it basically just took longer than I expected) but I'm giving Roadway 5 stars for the incredible movers who packed up and delivered my items, and for the way customer service handled the minor bumps. They did a full pack which went off without a hitch, every mover who was in my old apartment and new apartment was super kind, careful, clean and professional. No broken or damaged items and everything they packed up arrived to my new home and I'm super grateful for that!

Roadway Moving was absolutely great to work with! They helped us with a two day move and made it so seamless. For any questions or concerns we had throughout the two days, the Roadway team addressed them right away and found solutions. All of our belongings were carefully packed up and delivered with care - I especially appreciated the time and care that went into wrapping all of our glassware! We used Roadway/Veteran Movers for an inter-brooklyn move and would recommend! Osvaldo Martinez and his team were very efficient and took care with our items and made that part of the move relatively stress free. They were communicative and friendly (even though were were moving into a 4th floor walk up!) Beyond actual moving day I appreciated the pre-move video chat where our items were inventoried so we could get an accurate price quote, then a follow up a couple days before the move to make sure it was still accurate. No surprises, which is greatly appreciated during moving.

I called for a quote, they did a virtual, from NY to Florida. Quote was almost $8,000.00. One bedroom apt. No refrigerator, no stove, no washer....ridiculous, l rather rent a truck and drive myself, which is exactly what l decided...

Your agent told me, he would use a 18 truck and if it wldnt fit the road to my property, they wld switch to a smaller truck, at an extra cost..does that make sense to you...?????. Thats the response, l got when l asked why the 18 truck, and also, no guarantee, if anything happened to my belongings...Don't take it up with me, question your agent...l have a small one bedroom apartment, l don't have 8,000 worth of furniture and belongings...l don't know about others reviews, but l stand by my own..Funny thing, before we started the walk through, he asked if l had seen the reviews, now, why would he ask me that..GO FIGURE

Roadway Moving is absolutely the best!! This was my first time using movers, and I was very worried, but Roadway made this entire process SO MUCH less stressful.

They were extremely responsive from the very start- we went over all the details and what I will be bringing via FaceTime. Leading up to the move, whenever I had a question, I got a comprehensive and prompt answer back.

On the day of the move, they even arrived early, and the move was so fast and efficient- I was amazed. The movers themselves (shout out to the team leader Raz!) were so friendly and kind, and never hesitating to go the extra mile to help us out. They even came earlier than the expected time frame the next day to make sure that there wouldn’t be a problem with undocking all the boxes in the new apartment, and everything went seamlessly. Even more, upon arrival, they also assembled my new bed frame!

Moving can be extremely stressful for anyone, but Roadway made this entire process so much more enjoyable. The customer service here is top-notch. Will definitely be contacting them again for my next move!

Steven, Krystal, and the movers (especially Joel and Bab) were incredible. This was my first time ever doing a long-distance move (South Florida to Washington D.C.), and I was doing it alone too, so I had nerves and lots of questions. Steven, Krystal, the pickup crew, and delivery crew were efficient, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and went above and beyond. The movers were especially courteous, friendly, polite, and gentle with my belongings. And Steven and Krystal always responded so quickly to any questions I had, and I felt very taken care of the whole time. And all of my furniture and boxes arrived in perfect condition!!!! I'm so glad that I chose Roadway Moving to be my movers for this whole journey!

INCREDIBLE experience with Roadway Moving during my most recent move in NYC. Can't tell you how painless the moving process was. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Roadway. I collected so many estimates; not only were they affordable (for a x-country move!), every person I spoke with was kind. I received multiple calls on the day of pick up and drop off to communicate when the teams were en-route, estimated delivery time, and to ask about my experience. I don't remember my drop off team's names but they were very efficient and asked for the placement of every single item. My pick-up team was Elliot, Ever, and Lalo (Northridge, CA location). Respectful, clean (it started raining and they were prepared) and efficient, helped to make a stressful day that much better. All I had to do was sit with my cat and watch!

Jorge, Julio and Sofia helped me move from Long Island to a three flight walk up in Manhattan and they were absolutely amazing! I could not have asked for a better moving team ever and I have moved over 15 times all around the world. Roadway Moving did an astonishing job during our move from New Jersey to North Carolina. They arrived early, and loaded the truck efficiently. They laid down a rug so they didn't track dirt in or damage the floors. They stayed professional and friendly even when it was raining/snowing.

Our items arrived in a timely matter, and they made sure to be extremely careful with our items. My wife and I were impressed with their loading/unloading expertise.

Roadway was incredibly helpful with my move from Nashville to New York, they were great with communicating and got my things to me quickly! I didn't have any damaged items, both the movers that loaded the truck and unloaded the truck were incredibly nice. Would definitely reccomend for anyone moving long distance!

This should be the first company you call for any kind of move. They helped me with a cross-country move and made what could have been a very stressful situation super easy and stress-free! I worked primarily with Scott in getting the move going. He was the best! Super professional, kind, and proactive when it came to communication. Asael then stayed in touch while my stuff was in transit and always checked in. Yusuf transported my stuff and delivered it to an empty apartment as I was not there yet. Even though I wasn't there, he left the boxes in each room they were labeled for, carefully placed the boxes and bulky fragile items, and even put together my bed frame for me, which I already wasn't looking forward to so it was a great surprise to see he had already done that for me. Everyone was so professional and genuinely kind to work with. You'd be doing yourself a disfavor looking anywhere else for moving help-Roadway is the best (and trust me, I've moved a lot)

This is my second time working with roadway and they were amazing! I have A LOT of stuff and they were super careful with my belongings and moved everything over to my new apt in a timely manor. They packed for me as well which i've never done before and was a HUGE help. Thank you roadway!!

We had an amazing moving experience with Roadway from beginning to end. From our initial assessment with Alex, support along the way from Krystal to the move itself with Luis and his crew, everyone was truly excellent. Can’t recommend them highly enough as it was easily the best move I’ve ever done.

Roadway is by far the best moving company. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Prior to the move, Roadway reached out numerous times to communicate the moving process, plus the steps they were going to take to ensure that we had a smooth move out. All of the team members are responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Roadway has an immaculate process in place. On the move-out/move-in date - the crew arrived at 9 am, and once again, the captain of the team (Lucio) explained the steps and mapped out the day for us. Our package included full packing of every single item in our home, from bathrooms to pantry items.

They had us leave for a few hours so that they could get right to work. During our free time, we were able to step away and have lunch, buy flowers, spend quality time as a family and tour our new apartment. At around 1 pm, we went back to meet the crew, had a final walk-through of the apartment, and ensured that all of the items were packed and ready to be delivered to the new apartment.

Once we arrived at the new apartment, the crew unpacked and assembled all of our furniture, placed them in their designated areas + unpacked and hung our wardrobe. They even took the empty boxes with them, and offered to come pick up the remaining empty boxes the next day. The crew and the experience were EXCEPTIONAL (they were so good we even overtipped). One more thing, Roadway also provided us with an assistant for the day so that we could contact them with any questions we had - Michelle was responsive and answered every text message within seconds.

This is my first time using a moving company and I can't express enough how so impressed I am with this company. I have to pack myself on the back for doing research and picked a great moving company. I'm moving from NYC to Houston so this was a cross state move.
Roadway Moving actually help you move, pack and assemble your things. My boxes came in intact. And, it only took them one week to deliver my boxes. Also they call you to update you on their whereabouts. Service was beyond excellent. All movers especially Jesus and Jhon were beyond helpful and sweet. I already recommended Roadway Moving to my family and friends. I will definitely use them again.

I just completed my third move with Roadway Moving and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. When we moved out of NYC, across the river, Roadway was there. When we then left all together during the Pandemic June 2020, Roadway was there and went above and beyond to not only move and care for our belongings but also go above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and protected. Best moving company we have ever used! We recently moved from NJ to Seattle and it was a breeze with Roadway. They let us know when they were roughly 5 days out so we could book flights and again 48 hours before. They arrived earlier than expected and we weren't quite ready for them so they came the following day no questions asked. I also love that they use their own trucks and movers and do not outsource like most other moving companies do. All of their movers were extremely friendly, prompt, and reliable. They handled our things with the utmost care. Will be using them again in the future!

We all know moving can be really stressful, but roadway team Alex,Andrei and Fausto made so easy. They help me pack, carefully wrapped everything for me even my vacuum. That’s how you know they are taking care of their customer really good. Definitely 5 star worthy.

The Roadway crew did a great job. Juan handled the early coordination and estimates and Diego led the team on moving day. I was a bit apprehensive going into this after having read bad reviews of most NYC moving companies. I worked closely with Juan to get the inventory list accurate and it was a piece of cake from there. No surprises, no issues. Diego and his crew made moving day a breeze, showed up on time, worked quickly and carefully. If it wasn't in a box it either got boxed or got thoroughly wrapped in protective bubble wrap and blankets for the trip. I couldn't have been more pleased with how well it worked out!

This was the first move that I can honestly say was a breeze and it was all because of Roadway Moving. The communication was excellent right from the beginning when they called me 25 minutes before arriving to tell me they’d be at my apartment for the 9am start time right on time. They were extremely professional and efficient while taking the time to wrap up every piece of furniture. They had no issues getting bulky furniture down a 4th floor walkup and up a 3rd floor walk up. They did an incredible job especially my mover Lizeth and her helpers. They were professional, punctual and took great care of my furniture and other belongings. Their packing was amazing and they made me feel at ease considering that I am disabled and suffer from anxiety, agoraphobia and several other difficult conditions. I hate packing! I hate packing for even a weekend trip. So imagine my anxiety over a big move. Roadway moving moved my husband and I into our first house and the whole experience from beginning to end was top tier! Allen and his team were amazing and super fast. Difficult pieces like our couch and mattress was slight work to this team! All our items were handled with care and this was by far my best moving experience. Moving is usually stressful, but with Roadway everything was so easy and stress-free it was the best move I've ever had. I couldn't have been any happier with my move thanks to Roadway Moving. I knew it would be an easy move when I hired movers but they honestly went above and beyond. They thought of every little detail and nothing was too much. Patrice and Diego were amazing and they moved me out in 1 hour and moved me in in less than an 1hr including building my bed! Without hesitation, all my items were wrapped, and boxed with the greatest of care. All items made it up a third floor walk up without scratches - these guys were impressive! My experience with Roadway had been nothing short of exceptional. We had so many last minute changes and they were able to accommodate every single one seamlessly. We only had two days to prep our entire apartment for our move, needless to say we did our best to prep but there was still so much to be done. This was my first time using movers and Roadway Movers made my move SO easy and stress free.

They were super responsive and helpful from the very beginning. After I reached out they promptly called me to go over all of my belongings and move details. Every person I interacted with (from my move coordinator to the movers themselves) was so kind and helpful. The movers arrived early, with masks on, and within just a couple hours I was settled into my new apartment.

They really went the extra mile too. I had some miscellaneous stuff that I hadn’t packed and they boxed it up for me in no time, they disassembled and reassembled all of my furniture, put all of my boxes in the correct rooms, and to top it all off they even hung up my hanging clothes in my new apartment.

One of the worst things about living in NYC is moving (if you know, you know) but Roadway made this the most enjoyable move I’ve ever done.

I have moved about 6 times over 12 years in NYC and Roadway is far and way the best experience I have ever had. Moving is such a stressful experience but they made it feel easy.

From the booking experience to move-out day, utilizing them for storage and then move-in day, we felt so incredibly taken care of and didn't have to lift a finger. The movers were kind, professional and so attentive to detail. They ensured everything was packed extremely well and managed to do so with quick speed. They even laid down runners to protect the floor (see pic). I would highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

Extremely easy process. They do everything for you! All the packing. My boyfriend and I literally just sat there scrolling on social while everything was being packed up. Process is easy, the lead of the team walks you through the process, puts post it notes on what you want to keep/ not touch, asks you when they’re not sure if you want to move something or not (if it looks broken), shows you when there are pre existing damages on your items, and then the team comes in (5 people) and then wrap everything. All the kitchen ceramics and toiletries were wrapped individually in paper and all the furniture was wrapped in blankets, had corner protectors and then wrapped in tape. All the boxes were labeled. This was my first time using Roadway and I have nothing but good things to say about them! From start to finish every single person I dealt with was so kind and professional. I was moving from a 6th floor walkup building to an elevator building and the movers moved everything out of my old apartment and into my new apartment in only about 3 hours. The movers were so kind and gentle with all of my things - even with carrying them down all the flights of stairs! They were right on time and were incredibly careful with everything. I will 100% be using Roadway for all my future moves!!!

The most INCREDIBLE moving company!!! I made the move from LA to NY and Roadway not only made it stress-free, but fast and efficient. The LA team (shoutout to Carlos!!) was in and out of my apartment under 1.5 hours and the NY Team (Marcelo and Jose Hernandez) were just as fast putting everything back together in NY. Not to mention, the customer service from the internal team is incredibly responsive and communicative. I will be using them in the future because they are SO worth it!!!

Moving in NYC is such a stressful undertaking, but Roadway made it so simple (and dare I say relaxing?!). They were responsive throughout the entire process, following up with me before and after the move. On moving day, all we had to do was have our boxes packed, and the moving crew did the rest. I was amazed at how quick and professional they were, and the care they took to ensure our items wouldn't get damaged. I think my favorite part of the service was that they disassembled AND reassembled our furniture pieces. The team did such a great job and all of my anxiety melted away once they started working. Highly recommend Roadway if you're moving in NYC!

WOW! Roadway Moving was absolutely a dream to work with. They arrived on time and got right to work! It was pretty amazing that they worked so quality yet handled our items with such great care. The team also wore masks and practiced social distancing the entire time- very appreciative of this :) ! The team was a joy to work with and I am so happy we chose this company to handle our move. Roadway did an incredible job with my move, they took care of all of my stuff, the movers were timely and friendly, and they took COVID precautions seriously which I appreciated. They also wrapped up my stuff with blankets and plastic, they placed my furniture and they even gave me some extra boxes for something I needed. Overall a great experience and I would use them again!

Roadway helped me move from my first condo of 6+ years to my new condo within Manhattan. They arrive with 3 men and all the materials to do a full packing service. I especially liked that they listened to me, were patience and were careful with my items. They packed everything up from my first condo - individually wrapping each dish, cup, food item, etc and nicely and gently wrapped up all of my plants and transported them over. They removed their shoes at my new home upon my request and protected all corners of my new condo with a covering. I highly recommend them if you're looking to move! They also accept gratuity via cash services like Venmo, which is very convenient for the customer. Thank you!

So many amazing things to say about Roadway moving. For anyone the thought of moving is overwhelming and stressful as is. Thinking about everything that needs to be done from the packing to ensuring that all items arrive in one piece can be extremely stressful! Being someone that already has so much on their plate I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to get it all done on my own.

When I first heard of Roadway I was pleasantly surprised at how professional they were. Everything was done in a timely manner and they followed up religiously to make sure I was covering all my bases. I knew Roadway was the company I wanted to facilitate my move when they came to my home and we walked through the entire home (cabinets and everything) and they articulated how they were going to pack all my belongings. They seemed to have a box/ packing method for everything (this made me feel very assured). I was shocked! They also informed me that they make an inventory list for everything and each box has a corresponding barcode along with a camera in the truck. With all of this noted, I knew this was a company that I could fully trust, which I feel can be rare when it comes to moving companies.

When it came to moving day the team came in very professional and got the job done on time. They finished packing my family size home in 2 days and before I knew it the truck was on the way to my new home. I am very pleased with my experience with Roadway and can't recommend them enough. Truly a one of a kind moving company.

Not to mention they were able to move my 1,000 lb crystal which is very intimidating!

Roadway Moving made our move into our new home so easy, we can't thank them enough! The team was incredibly professional and efficient. I had a very last minute move, and I tried calling so many places. They were either fully booked or offering insane prices. Roadway Moving helped me get everything moved to my new place in just a few hours, and I had quite a bit to move. They even helped disassemble some furniture that was tricky to get into the narrow doors of my new apartment. The movers were really kind and respectful. Not only that, they called me a day or two later to make sure I was satisfied with everything. I will definitely be using them for my next move!

Moving in general is not easy, but moving in December in NYC is especially difficult. Roadway made it seamless. They came in, packed us, moved us, and set our furniture up in the new apartment. And even through a delay with our new building, they were incredibly nice and accommodating throughout the whole move. We didn’t have to do much except unpack our boxes which I prefer doing myself anyway. Shoutout to the great team at Roadway for making this a move that will be easy to forget (that’s a good thing)!

Roadway made my move from Maryland to NYC so easy! They packed up my storage unit that contained a one bedroom apt’s worth of belongings and delivered them to Brooklyn, NY. They were communicative every step of the way and handled my items with care! Every thing was in one piece. Besides tip, I also gave them breakfast and waters! Will def use them again for my next move❤️

Horrible experience. Expect all your careful packing to be casually tossed around.

- I had carefully packed and marked storage bins as extremely fragile, mentioned it to them as soon as they entered, they decide it was a good idea to stack them up and drag them down the stairs... Literally slid nearly $10,000 of equipment down 2 flights of stairs and I heard the loud slamming at each step and came around and watched in horror. Reassured me that we will open boxes at destination and check if anything was broken (I was moving into storage), didn't stick around to check.

- Didn't know how to unscrew a simple sofa leg. Suggested I remove the full sofa arms because guy was too lazy to go down to get his toolbox. After unscrewing it he put a sofa screw in the toolbox. I was lucky that I counted the parts to have caught this bungle.

- Accidentally (yet unapologetically) kicked and tossed fragile boxes across the floor.

- When bringing in boxes for packing + heavy packing supplies, loudly and animatedly smashing them on the floor. This is a wooden hoist building and my neighbors must have been rattled all morning.

- Had to ask to add better protection each and every step of the way. One thin layer of blanket was thought to be sufficient for a large floor mirror.

- Talking extremely loudly across the hallways (cracking jokes this way)

- At the time of loading, I asked to help separate miscellaneous items when unloading, did not care to stick around to do that.

- Used the toilet, made a mess and did not even flush. Lol You get the whole package with these guys.

All in all I've worked with and seen enough movers to know that you can get waayyyy better moving elsewhere. (Where they actually care for your belongings like they were their own.)

When I was looking for a moving company I wanted one that would be 1) highly recommended by others, 2) handle my items with great care, and 3) have great customer service.

From my very first contact with Roadway, the experience was seamless. They were responsive, accommodating and fast in providing COIs. I had to change my move date a few times and they were understanding about this as well. On the day of the move, the team arrived 1 minute before our scheduled time, worked quickly and took a lot of care wrapping my furniture. They were also friendly and a pleasure to be around.

I can't say enough great things about Roadway and have already recommended them to all of my family and friends.

I waited months to post this until I had unpacked everything from my cross-country move. Roadway moving was absolutely excellent! They were incredibly communicative throughout the quoting and hiring process, the movers were very friendly, thorough and fast, and scheduling delivery couldn't have been easier. Not one item in my move was broken. While overall a little more expensive than other quotes I received, it was absolutely worth the cost given the professionalism and care with which my items were packed.

I recently moved using their packing and moving service. It was easily the best moving experience! The movers were friendly and took into account all of our needs in packing, and they packed FAST. Extremely professional crew that made everything seamless. All of my items were wrapped really well so there were no damages, and they even built my bed at the new place. Communication with the company was super easy as well!

My wife and I had an amazing experience with Roadway this week. We just bought our first home and right after closing I had to leave for tour, but Roadway were true saviors. I am the CEO of a startup business and had such a wonderful experience with Roadway Moving that I needed to share! Not only did RM pack our business spaces with immense care but also worked within tight spaces with lots of stairs. Let me just say, they were speedy! I couldn’t believe how fast they packed up all my spaces (2 storage units, my biz and my walk up home office 😅) They were prepared for any situation from clothes to memorabilia to fine vases and general household goods. In the city, it can be hard to find people to care for your things as you do. Roadway Moving cared and did it all in such good spirits. The team of people that packed and completed our move were kind, respectful and absolute professionals.

It literally took them 2 hours to pack up all of my stuff and get it out of my apartment on moving day. Everything arrived safely and they even made my bed for me. The only thing that they broke was one of my tv's, but they promptly made the arrangements to replace it for me. It can be really scary trusting all of your valuables with a moving company, which is why I would 100% recommend Roadway Moving to ANYONE because they are honest, trustworthy, efficient, and just the greatest!
