Jose and the Roadway team were amazing! We had a multi-day multi-pickup move and these guys were awesome. We hired them for packing, transport and unpacking. Organized, prepared, professional, on-time, pleasant and helpful. They were super careful with our more fragile and valuable items (we have a lot of valuable art). They were also neat, always cleaning up, protecting floors, etc...They were so friendly, they made moving fun!! They handle moves all over the country. We had a wonderful experience with Roadway and highly recommend them to anyone!

We used Roadway for our out-of-state move and it was worth every penny! Christian and Sebastian were honestly the best movers we’ve ever worked with. They were professional, careful, courteous, and arrived early each day of our move. They handled every item with care, and made this process the least stressful as possible. I cannot recommend Christian and Sebastian, as well as Roadway, enough!

We have had an amazing time using Roadway so far. The initial coordination and video walkthrough with Steven was beyond easy and he was more than willing to help me with any questions I had. On moving day, Richard’s team took an amazing amount of care with our belongings and we are incredibly thankful. For now, our things are headed to storage before moving across country but I have confidence that the rest will go smoothly. Highly recommend.

The crew that packed up my apartment was professional, careful, and detail oriented. They put me at ease and instilled confidence that my furnishings and belongings were in great hands. In particular, Richard the lead mover was friendly and caring and was wonderful to work with. I have done a few interstate moves with varying results. This team was by far the best team I have ever worked with. I will definitely choose Roadway for any future moves. Worth the price.

Roadway is the best! They were so fast and easy to work with. NOTHING was damaged. They bring all of the boxes and pack everything for you. They communicate very well before, during and after the move. We did a local move but they also have long distance moves. They took all the safety precautions for COVID. I could go on and on about how awesome they are. 100% recommend.

Everyone from Angie and Angelina in the office to Jesus and his team in NYC to Aaron and his partner that dropped our stuff off across the country were 100% professional, friendly and calm. It was our first time moving across country and the whole Roadway team made the move easy and stress free. I would highly recommend.

My daughter just moved from N.Y.C to San Diego,CA. We used Roadway based on their 5 star reviews. They did not disappoint and were great!! Pick up and delivery were handled by friendly and very professional movers. They arrived each time as was planned. We were worried after reading reviews about other moving companies and all of the problems people had with them. This was not the case with Roadway. Not one item was broken or damaged and the cost of the move that was agreed upon was, in fact, the final cost with no surprises. This move was made easy and stress free by Roadway. I would use them again without hesitation.

Roadway moving helped me so much during this pandemic. I could not travel back to NYC and I had just signed a new lease in Florida. The Roadway Moving team handled the ENTIRE move for me. They carefully packed all of my NYC apartment items, all while wearing masks and gloves. They even FaceTimed me during the move and updated me on everything that I had concerns about. This was my first out-of-state move, and I was a bit nervous, but the team made sure I felt happy and satisfied! All of my boxes made it to Florida within a few weeks! Not one item broke! They even put my bed together for me in my new Florida apartment. The team was professional, kind and friendly. Highly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with Roadway Moving, this is our second time using their service and I continue to recommend to friends. Our first move was a local move but this time we went from NY-CA and we are so impressed with how professional and organized the movers were. They arrived on time for the pack up and loading of the truck as well as for the arrival of the boxes once they made it to California. Everything was perfectly in tact and packaged nicely with care.

We were hesitant to undertake this move due to COVID19, however Roadway made us feel much more comfortable about bringing a moving team into our home and new home. All of the movers were wearing masks and gloves and kept social distance between us.

I used Roadway to move across country. From my 1st phone conversation I knew I was working with the best company! Everyone was extremely professional, so nice and cared about myself and my belongings. My movers showed up on time, wearing PPE and were so quick and careful with my stuff as they packed everything up. The move out of NYC was so easy with Roadway! Loved using Roadway for my move cross country. At first I debated shipping everything myself, but after talking with one of my friends who recommended roadway, I am so happy that I chose to tackle my move. The customer service agents were so helpful. Each email they sent was packed with all the information you would need and more. The movers for my move always showed up right in time or a few minutes early and didn’t waste anytime packing/unpacking my things. Highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again when I move back to the city.

I had big plans to force friends and family to help me move out of state, and then COVID-19 happened and it all went out the window. I spoke to several companies and Roadway had the kindest employees, the best pricing for the small amount of items I needed to move, and by far the most positive reviews. I'm so happy with my decision. I wasn't looking forward to my move at all, but they made it a breeze. Extra special shout out to Howard, Sheke, Andrew, and Sam for answering a million questions while they worked and helping me stay calm. Best movers ever.

I booked Roadway last minute after a failed attempt to use U-Box. Very happy with the choice I made, opting for quality and professionalism over a customer service nightmare. It was a cross-country move of a 1-bedroom apartment from New York to California. The movers arrived on time, were efficient, friendly, and ultra careful with packaging all of our stuff. A short 10 days later everything arrived in Los Angeles and was unpacked with similar ease to the packing in NYC. Communication was easy and fast -- overall 10/10 will use again if I move back to New York 😅

I used Roadway Moving for my out of state move from New York to TN and it was incredible!! The movers were on time, quick, incredibly thorough with making sure everything was taken care of. I had a pretty last minute move in the middle of Covid-19 and they were quick to respond and answered any concerns I had. The movers came with masks and gloves and kept their distance the entire time. They kept me updated on when my things would arrive in TN and it actually came much quicker than I was expecting! This was by far the most seamless move I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

We love Roadway Moving, we moved cross country and had a miracle happen. One box that contained my grandmother's paintings was missing from our delivery.
The movers spent the extra time looking thru each box to see if we could locate them with no luck, the delivery before us was to a photographer and he had a large number of picture boxes.
Our driver made a special stop back at this photographer's house to look thru those boxes again and found my box! They were delivered safely back to me today and I am beyond grateful for all the concern and effort our movers put into finding this very special and irreplaceable box.

I have moved many times in my life, but this was by far the easiest and smoothest experience I've ever had. Miguel and his team were professional, quick and exceptionally nice. Because it's a long distance move, everything was wrapped with care, tagged, and entered into their tracking system which was very reassuring. I can't recommend this company enough, and my heartfelt thanks to Miguel and his team.

This is our second time using Roadway to move, and I’m so glad we went with them again. They showed up early, had our entire house packed in lightning speed, and everything showed up unscathed at our new apartment in Manhattan. On top of all of this, the whole team were incredibly friendly. I will continue to advocate for Roadway to everyone I know whose moving!

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Roadway. I have lived in the city for over ten years and have done numerous moves. My furniture is high quality and valuable so it needs to be wrapped and moved with care. My expectations were exceeded by Robinson, Miguel and Moises. They wrapped each piece with such care. It was as if I was moving cross country. I was beyond impressed not only with their attention to detail in packaging all of my belongings but also with how fast and efficient the team worked. They made what is normally a very stressful day, a smooth and enjoyable experience! Highly recommend!!

Marius and his team were beyond efficient. They handled my massive move from Brooklyn into Manhattan easily. I’m actually blown away by how smoothly this move went due to their hard work. I’ve had cross country moves as well as short distance and this has got to be the best move I’ve had to date. Highly recommend and will use them for the next move.

Very easy to work with from start to finish. The process to get a quote from Ken (and update after packing) it was painless and with quick responses. The movers (Richard, Nick, and Juan) that came the day of we're skilled and professional. They walked us through the whole process, carefully packed all of our things and we're super efficient. They were recommended to me by a friend who was also doing a cross country move and I will continue to recommend them as well.

I had an amazing experience with Roadway, working with them on a cross country move from LA to NY. I had a few fragile furniture items and they packed and unpacked them meticulously (including large mirrors and a marble topped credenza, all arrived unscathed and placed in the rooms of my choosing). I was impressed with their speed as well, my 3bedroom in LA was packed in under 3 hours, and the unload on New York (including assembling, unwrapping, and placing furniture) took under an hour. Moving is such a stressful experience, but Roadway made it as painless as possible. All the moving staff was incredibly kind and professional. I’d highly recommend to anyone, either within NY or out of state!

We had a fantastic cross country move from NYC to LA with Roadway pick-up crew led by Jose Rivera. They arrived early for our full pack move and took great care with all our belongings at two pickup locations, and arrived in a very new-looking truck. They also expertly crated some fine art for us and I liked their corner covers (had never seen those before). I will definitely use Roadway again. Thanks Jose!

FYI: long distance move from NYC to SF. Brian and Willy were a great duo in packing up our 1 br in about 2 hours. After assessing our items, they got to work right away. They were focused, meticulous, and careful throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

100% recommend! I was actually nervous at how perfect their reviews were- like it had to be fake because what moving company is gets that many glowing reviews? But so happy i went with them. Moving is already crazy stressful- especially if you’re going cross country and on pretty short notice. With these guys, you’re in the best hands. Professional and friendly, they reassure and communicate with you every step of the way. They take care of your stuff as if its their own. They sent boxes beforehand too so i could get started packing. The price in my case was super reasonable too. If i have to do it again, i’ll be calling them.

So glad I picked Roadway for my long distance move. Strong communication from them from Day 1 and a seamless experience. My boyfriend and I are moving out of state to California from New York. Our friends who moved last year recommended their service.

These guys are the real pros when it comes down to moving! The scheduled time was 2pm-4pm and they promptly arrived right before 2. They were able to move all the boxes out fast enough, and then they started wrapping our medium sized furnitures, we felt that our belongings are being handled very safe and professionally. Anytime you has any questions or concern, feel free to communicate with them because they got you covered!

We had about 40 pieces or boxes and furnitures together, the whole process took no more than an hour. We’ve also had other moving services before roadway moving, and they were alright. But with Roadway Moving, I never knew moving could be so fast and easy. Their rate is very reasonable consider how much more hassle it would be if we were to do it ourselves. Would definitely use their service again in the future!

I moved from NYC to FL and after long distance moves before was concerned about time and care. I was super impressed with Roadway. They were kind, professional, worked quickly and everything arrived super timely to FL (sooner than expected!) They took special care of large mirrors and other pieces that needed care, and everyone on the team answered all my questions. Seamless move, which was appreciated as moving is hectic enough. Definitely will use them again and recommend to all my friends.

Bryan D handled my move. He was great. Very personable, explained things well, worked efficiently, protected my furniture/boxes appropriately. Couldn't be happier. This reflects the move out part of this cross country move. Hopefully the delivery process will live up to this experience.

Great first impression! Adrian came to our apartment to do an in-home estimate.

On move day, 3 movers (Danny, Eduardo, Victor) came 15 minutes early to allow for parking adjustments in Queens. They started our 2 bedroom apartment around 9am, left around 12:30pm. They packed our furniture exceptionally well and took extreme care. They were efficent, respectful, quick but not careless. The paperwork was all put together and I received carbon copies of everything I signed. Really happy with the pickup and look forward to seeing my items in CA!

Although a cross country move is expensive, Roadway Movers was amazing. They were in and out in 2 hours, were extremely pleasant, wrapped large items securely and walked me through all the paperwork.

My fiancee and I used this company for a out of state move. Worse experience ever. This company is a broker actual people that move your stuff not affiliated with them. We had to delay the day we left because the people that actually moved us rescheduled twice , than made it like it was our fault. We scheduled the move 2 months in advance. And they screwed us. Didn't even make to second location before it closed we made it very clear about the time frame we needed it done by. Came to the apartment 5 hours late didn't finish till 930 at night . Had to drive to Florida right after that. Just don't trust this company..wish i could give them 0 stars.

White Glove Treatment
Roadway movers did a fantastic job packing my house and moving my stuff..Prior to my move date, Adrian came to my house, promptly at our 12:00 appointment time, impeccably dressed in a suit and tie (what a nice way to present yourself and represent your company). Adrian went through my house room by room and made a detailed list of everything that I needed packed and moved and even pointed out some things that I had over-looked. He promised me a detailed price quote within 1 day and sure enough the quote was in my email box on time. The price was fair and very reasonable. The day of my move, Maurice and his crew came promptly at the designated time of 9:00 and even gave me a text when he was close to arriving. The entire crew worked so hard without pause or break to pack my entire home for a move of 126 miles. Some things I was hesitant about letting them pack but they assured me that they would take excellent care of them from a treasured antique book case all the way down to a ceramic salad bowl which I had carried back all the way from Italy, and a very delicate seashell collection. The crew bought everything to my new home and treated my stuff like gold. The only thing that broke was a ceramic lantern that I had packed and bought down myself because I felt it was too delicate to let some one else pack. I wish I had let them take it because not a single thing that they had packed and moved broke or was damaged. My friend had moved out of state a few years ago and raved about what a great job they did which is why I initially chose Roadway. It's great to see that they have maintained their high level of standards, service and excellence. Thank you Adrian and the entire Roadway moving crew for making moving day a wonderful experience

I hired Roadway for my cross-country move. The rep came to do the estimate and said it would be a one day packing and loading job. That sounded kind of hard to believe given it was a full 4br house, but that was his assessment. Given I was starting a new job I needed to know when they would be arriving at the destination so that my wife and kids would not be stranded in an empty house while I was at a new job all day. The estimate rep told me they would assuredly be there at a certain date. He said they charge extra for a 3 day window guarantee, but said he didn't recommend it because for me it would be a waste of money, as the movers would definitely be there on there date he quoted. I didn't believe it (thankfully...) & I paid the extra fee for the 3 day window guarantee. He assured me that this was overkill because ours would be the first stop for the truck, saying delays happen when there are stops/jobs along the way before ours, but this wouldn't be the case with our job. Well that was complete BS.
The first issue was the day of packing and loading- the poor crew that came to pack and load said they couldn't believe the estimator booked it as a one-day pack and load job, saying this was clearly a two day job. Unfortunately we already booked airline tickets based on what the estimator told us. These guys were phenomenal. They worked so hard, we felt bad. It was torture for them and torture for my family, especially my kids, because it took them about 12hrs. Toward the end they were just throwing things in boxes to get done. We have boxes labeled "master bedroom" that have kitchen appliances and silverware in them. Not that big of a deal, but I felt bad for them.
The second part of the move- the arrival. Thank goodness I paid for the three day window guarantee because the driver told me he almost didn't even make it within the window guarantee. He said they had a "few" jobs ahead of ours they had to complete first along the way. He was very good about calling and giving updates, but clearly they had a few moves to do before even getting to me. So the estimate rep lied. They showed up on the last day of the 3 day guarantee window. That was also a big job and even though we paid for unpacking, they left a ton of boxes unpacked. I didn't push them to finish the unpacking, & here's why- the house was newly renovated and in the short time they were there they damaged some things. One of them is a newly done custom staircase; one of the guys thought it was a good idea to literally drag a fully loaded hand truck up the stairs, slamming the hand truck step by step, scratching and damaging each step as he went up. I told him to stop. They also ripped a shelving unit off a wall accidentally. At that point I would rather finish the unpacking myself than continue to allow them to damage more things in the house.
In summary- the crew that packed us up at our starting point was stellar. They worked incredibly hard and didn't cause any damage. The rest of the move- not so stellar. Don't believe a word the person doing the estimate tells you, number one. Number two, watch them like a hawk when they unload. If I did not monitor what they were doing I would have had a wrecked newly done custom grand staircase along with some other things.

Response from owner says I must be mistaken and used a different mover. No mistake. I did not use Roadway movERS. I used Roadway Moving. I have emails from Sharline Tulloch from the "customer success team" clearly coming from "Roadway Moving & Storage, Inc.".

WOW!!!!! BELIEVE THE RAVE REVIEWS!!! I'm a military veteran and former military dependent that has moved more than 30 times in my life and this, by far, was the BEST moving company I've used in the world!!! I chose to pay for everything, the packing and all and from beginning to end, the process was seamless. My sales person kept in touch prior and during the packing, even giving a new estimate based on pictures of a new area to move and trusting my word when I decided to personally move some items already added into the 1st estimation. I have a 3 story home and they showed up with 6 people initially and about an hour in realized they needed back up, so 4 more showed up for a total of 10 workers, ON A SUNDAY!! Because I had to be out by the 1st. They professionally interacted with neighbors and even spoke with the plumber when he arrived so I wouldn't have to. They were all very pleasant, all in the same shirt and I bought them all lunch, they acted surprised. Let me tell you, if you aren't giving a moving team endless water and athletic drinks and springing for lunch, you're not doing it right. It should be understood. Another thing, I was FAR behind schedule on moving due to my schedule, so the place was a bit of a mess, at one point a guy came up to me and asked if it was ok to wash the dishes I had left in the sink so they could pack them ... I was surprised at the service and politely and embarrassingly said yes. The drop off the next day , more than 60 miles away, was just as professional. Let me tell you, I'm loyal, but only as far as customer service is concerned...I used to have a mover I used faithfully for several moves within NJ, NY and a cross country move once. They are based in Jersey City, NJ "All Inclusive Moving". When this move came up, I looked them up and they had since suffered a spate of horrible reviews. I was surprised and assumed it to be just trolls. Just in case, I called the company to assess if they had changed any and just from the 1st call and the follow up calls, I knew the reviews were right. Customer service was not as it had been before. It'd been 10 years since I'd used them. So I decided to see if there was another company with better reviews. I found Roadway by googling "Best movers in NYC" and they were #1. I read all the reviews and took a chance, I'm so happy I did. Only one leg broke on a couch and immediately they offered to transfer it to their factory, have a furniture company repair it, and redeliver it. TOP NOTCH. No need for insurance paperwork, with the professionalism of the team in my home, I trust the team in the factory to restore it. My move was a little over 7k, and I also ended up tipping about $1500 over 2 days and spent about $400 on meals and drinks on top of that. Every single cent was worth it! EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. I will continue to use them...until they change, if they ever do. Kudos to Avi, Ben and the entire team!!!

Not Happy! The movers who showed up were prompt and professional. However, what I am not happy with is the time is has taken to deliver the goods. This move was across country. Delivery date was 9/3/2014. I was expecting it to arrive around that time, give or take a few days. However , I have been informed that my delivery "window" extends to the 9-24! And as of 9-11it has not even been shipped, nor can they tell me when it will be shipped! What? To me this is unacceptable and an unfair delivery window. Can you imagine moving into a place for three weeks without your stuff? Again, I am not happy with this company and would NOT recommend it to anyone. I am paying them a lot of money and would have expected prompter delivery.
