Cannot recommend Roadway enough-- from the professionalism, care to the friendliness of their whole team. They made the move so smooth and took so much stress off our plate. Moving is never easy, and moving cross country even less so.
Their team was prompt, and got everything in and out of our apartment from 9AM-1PM. They asked for dimensions two weeks prior for any of our heavy, fragile items (such as a heavy marble table and travertine side tables) to make sure they were packed safely + securely. All of our furniture was wrapped and corners of dressers and tables covered to make sure they wouldn't get chipped or damaged in the move. Their team was also so friendly and nice, we made sure to grab gatorades, waters and some McDonald's for everyone to have a snack + stay hydrated! I don't think we can ever move again without Roadway to be honest. They are truly the best moving company out there.

Highly recommend Roadway Moving! I vetted five different moving companies for my middle-distance (out of state) move, and I chose Roadway Moving because of their long history in the moving business, great reviews, and reasonable pricing. My booking agent started with a video consult of our home to create an inventory list of our belongings since we were hiring Roadway for a full packing service. Once I was booked, the team was very responsive and answered all of my questions. My moving agent reached out the week of my move to confirm details. Our moving team showed up on time and expertly packed our belongings with care, laying out floor and corner protectors and using lots of packing blankets. The team was very friendly and courteous! Our team arrived at our new address and took all the protective precautions again (floor coverings, corner coverings, etc.), and placed our belongings in our home with care. Everything arrived in the condition it was packed in -- no damages or anything! Hire Roadway Moving!

I had never used movers for an out-of-state move before, but overall it was a good experience. The guys were really kind and moved very quickly. For pick up, it was raining cats and dogs but the guys handled it with ease! It took a little over a week for my things to arrive, but mostly everything was in great shape.

Moving is usually very stressful, but Roadway made it as painless as possible. They moved our things quickly and carefully and disassembled/assembled our furniture as well. It was helpful to be able to live track our movers especially since it was a long distance move. Special shout out to our movers Nikola and Vlado. They were very friendly and meticulous. This was my second time moving with Roadway and my first time doing a long distance move with them. They gave me a delivery window and kept me updated along the way. I never felt like I went too long without any communication and if I had any questions, they were super quick to respond. The movers also arrived ahead of schedule! I was worried because of the long weekend that I'd see a delay, but that wasn't the case at all. They came much earlier than expected and on the day of, they were also very punctual. They rolled out mats to keep my floors clean, reassembled all of my furniture, and took out the extra boxes + wrapping supplies. Everyone I've encountered at Roadway has been nothing but professional, which is why I continue to use them!

Roadway moved all of my stuff from Maryland to California and everything arrived in perfect condition. It was all handled with care and boxed in organized, labeled boxes. The movers were quick and professional. Highly recommend for local moves or cross country moves!!

This is my second delivery with Roadway! This time they moved me cross country from Los Angeles to Florida, and they made this the easiest and most comfortable experience ever. The most amazing moving experience ever! As someone who has moved cross country twice & to a new state every 12 months for 7 years I’m speaking from lots of experience. Extremely professional, friendly & took so much care of our belongings. They never cut corners and worked so hard to make it a stress free experience. 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough.

I needed help moving from nyc to LA and tapped Roadway to help. They did a phenomenal job, taking meticulous detail to note all of our boxes to make sure we didn’t lose anything during transit and did a great job packing everything with great care. I’ve used them before for moves in NYC but this was the first time doing a cross country one and they still maintained the same professionalism and quality as they did in local moves. Having moved over 6 times in the last 7 years, I've learned to expect the worst from moving companies. However, Roadway did not disappoint!! Not only did they arrive at the time they said they would, everything went smoothly and was handled with care. Having some cheaper furniture pieces, I was worried how they would hold up during the move, but the packers actually wrapped each piece of furniture in cardboard, plastic, etc. before putting it in a box. Then everything was unwrapped, put back together, and in one piece when they delivered! Seriously impressed. Prices are competitive and they gave us peace of mind during our out-of-state move!

Roadway Moving made my cross-country move from LA to Buffalo effortless and stress-free! Both teams (pickup and drop off) worked efficiently and took the utmost care of our things when loading up and unloading. They were also very kind and respectful during the whole process. Roadway communicated extremely well throughout the whole process from scheduling, pick up, and drop off. Both the pick up and drop off teams were on time and both worked diligently to make both days fast and efficient. 10/10 first class service and would highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a moving company!

BEST MONEY SPENT! Osvaldo and his team helped us with an out of state move. They were beyond professional and took away the stress of moving day. We packed our own boxes but also had a mix of large to small furniture. They wrapped every piece in a furniture blanket and then wrapped it in plastic. Everything was packed and moved with care. It was also drizzling on our moving day and they had these non-slip water absorbing runners to lay down on the floors (which was very appreciated at our new place). We were anxious about a few bad reviews but we had zero issues. We highly recommend requesting Osvaldo and his team, if you can.

I never thought the easiest part of my long distance move would be the actual move. Roadway was so easy to work with and they were incredibly efficient in packing my apartment. When it came time to deliver my items, they worked with my schedule and made sure to follow up after to ensure it was a smooth delivery. I look forward to using them for my next move - whether it be local or long distance.

Roadway help me with my cross country moved from New York to Los Angeles and they were incredible. They packed my apartment for me which was amazing and they were in and out of my house within a couple of hours. Everything arrived safely. They take such good care of your stuff, they make custom boxes and crates for valuables, wrap everything individually, and provide a high level of care to make sure everything arrives in perfect condition. The team is also really amazing and work so hard to make sure the move is fast as well. They assemble everything for you when it arrives. Truly the best!! they made an extra stop for me to pick up art and I know they also offer packing and long distance moves. They do it all! Couldn’t recommend more!!

We decided to hire Roadway for a local move after having an amazing experience moving cross-country in the past. Needless to say it was the right decision.

We moved with Roadway in Florida about 40min away. They were exactly on time and the whole crew was extremely clean and efficient. They took extra care to completely wrap all furniture items 100%, even our couch, to ensure that nothing would get damaged in transport. At the destination they then unwrapped everything and took all the packing materials with them, saving us from having to navigate that after just moving in. 100% would recommend!

For as stressful & complex as cross country moves can be, this was hands down the best moving experience I’ve ever had. Starting from weeks before the move, to the day of the move and the day of delivery, communication with the Roadway team was stellar.

I hired Roadway Moving for my move from Los Angeles to New Jersey and the entire team was absolutely wonderful. The movers showed up right on time and they were beyond professional. They wrapped up our furniture meticulously making sure that everything was packed securely for the cross-country haul. The TVs got their own special boxes, along with small pictures and mirrors. Communicating with the team was easy and straight-forward. Everyone was so accommodating, from booking my moving date to the day of the move. I would recommend this company to anyone and I would most definitely use Roadway again.

We're about to move cross country and decided to use Roadway Moving to make sure all our items arrive in one piece. This was my first time using a full service moving company and I am so impressed. First of all, I compared prices with multiple moving companies and Roadway was the most affordable by almost $1000. Secondly, they arrived on time and worked so efficiently. They took an hour to pack all our furniture and smaller items and everything was wrapped so well (see picture). Can't wait for our items to arrive in a few weeks and I'll definitely use them again for future moves.

Honestly a perfect moving experience. They were on time, friendly, took apart furniture and then put it back together upon arrival. The best part, though, is that I ended up paying EXACTLY what I was quoted for a long distance move. That has never been my moving experience before! First and foremost, I cannot explain how accommodating Roadway has been throughout this entire process as my plans have changed like 4 times. From the walkthrough to the final box, every item photographed and labeled--my cross country move could not have been in better hands. I wish I had known of Roadway for any prior move! Diego and his team were on time, professional, and great to work with. Whether you are moving across the city or across the country, your things are the last thing you need to worry about.

Roadway moving was the best!! We just hired them for our long-distance move from Jersey City to Miami and I couldn't be happier.

They were super communicative, even before our move. The week of, we got a call to let us know what to expect. The morning of, we were sent a tracker, so we could see how far out the team was. And they got to our apartment in Jersey City right on time. The team was kind, professional, organized, and efficient. They carefully wrapped up our bigger items, like our Peloton and TV. And cleaned up after themselves.

A week later our stuff arrived in Miami. The crew there was just as good! They made sure to ask what boxes/furniture went where, which made unpacking super easy.

After reading all the raving reviews from others, I can't help but ask myself, what happened with me? Where did I go wrong? Why was my service SO bad?? I have so many questions and no answers. I moved out of state and my experience was a complete fiasco, from start to finish!!

My price MORE than DOUBLED from my original quote, if I hadn't had a little extra money put to the side, I would have been screwed, literally!! My sales representative turned into a complete jerk after booking a date that was not available, which pushed me out another several days and as a result, I had to fly back into town to meet the movers.

*deep sigh* Damaged furniture. Several lost belongings, and, I lost ALOT, ALOT of money in the process!! The amount of ADDITIONAL money that was spent on this move was alloted for something else and was not in the moving budget. My move was extremely stressful and disheartening.

I guess the silver lining is, I did receive my things 2 days later from the quoted two weeks. The movers that delivered my furniture worked a miracle; they were in very large trailer that almost didn't make it onto the apartments property, and If they hadn't figured it out, it would've cost me ANOTHER 500 plus dollars for a smaller truck, that at that point, I just didn't have!!!

I'm disappointed just writing this review and rethinking the events.

Everyone else had a positive experience. Unfortunately, I did not. My move and experience with Roadway was extremely frustrating and stressful.

Luckily for me, I won't be doing another out of state move.

Roadway was an absolute blessing when it came to my move and so happy that I chose their services! This is the first time I’ve had to handle a long distance move out of the city by myself and Roadway made it so seamless and effortless. Being in the fashion industry I have a lot of clothes and items in general, and having to tackle the packing by myself was very daunting, but Roadway and their crew handled everything.

The movers were so friendly, efficient, and packed all my items with such care. They even provided wardrobe boxes and even assisted with the disassembly/assembly of furniture as well. They didn’t let me lift a single finger when it came to the entire move. Thank you so so much, Roadway and crew!

Wish I would have hired Roadway for my cross country move, too!

In full transparency, I have PTSD from my last move, when I moved from LA to NYC. The move was ethically and financially completely unjust. It also left me without 50% of my belongings (as they were lost and/or shattered). This being said, I'm sure you can imagine how hesitant I was to move again, albeit only 5 blocks away. I've seen many of my friends use Roadway, and I knew why as soon as I called for a quote. The agent, Nick, was so accommodating and caring to my needs - going as far as notating the most fragile items to be moved, for peace of mind that a terrible move would not happen to me twice!

I am happy to report that my move with Roadway was seamless. It was actually enjoyable! The movers showed up on time, they wrapped everything they could in reusable blankets and recyclable paper (instead of plastic bubble wrap!) and they were very careful with packing. In fact, my coats looked like they were packed by a department store :)

Additionally, I have a broken arm, of which the movers were so supportive. They partially packed my home, labeled all the boxes and fully delivered just like the agent originally slated. They were also super sweet with my dog and a move coordinator checked in with me every step of the way throughout the day.

I am so grateful for Roadway! 10/10 recommend. My only qualm? The fact that I did not work with Roadway for my cross country move, too! Thank you Roadway, for bringing back support and care to the highly dreaded 'moving day'.

Roadway Moving made our cross country move the easiest move I’ve ever experienced (and I have moved A LOT)!

From start to finish, they helped guide us along the entire moving process. A couple of weeks leading up to the big day, we connected with our moving coordinator, Shawnise. She was amazing — she alleviated so much of our stress surrounding the move. She answered any questions that came up, confirmed our moving location logistics, and helped with any last minute changes.

On the actual moving day, a Roadway Moving team of 3 came in to quickly pack up our 2 BR 2 BA apartment. They were super friendly, communicative, and efficient. They treated everything with so much care! We have a custom-made Kumiko bench that was a wedding gift from a friend — and they made sure to secure it well by triple wrapping it and protecting the corners. They also triple wrapped all of our furniture pieces and carefully handled the packing of our more fragile possessions like our paintings, artisan lamps, and some of my framed travel photography pieces.

10/10 would recommend Roadway Moving to anyone who wants a stress-free move. I’m so grateful that we went with them!

Great experience using Roadway Moving for my move from San Francisco to Phoenix. They made the move/process as easy as possible for me and the rates were reasonable. I am so happy I decided to go with them as it reduced the burden/stress of an out-of-state move tremendously. Shout out to Jordy and Daniel who moved out all of my things from SF with great care. They shrink wrapped everything so that it would not get damaged in the move. Shout out to Sam and Jose who delivered my things in AZ. They were very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond in making sure they could do any and everything to help (they even moved some of the old furniture that was in my home out into the garage to make room for the new items!).

My fiancé and I used Roadway moving for our massive move cross country and we are so beyond happy we did!! Got my stuff wrapped up so nicely! Nothing broken, even my concrete table that was super heavy was taken apart slowly and wrapped individually across country. I moved from LA to NY with such ease. I've used Roadway twice now to move and am always satifused! Once for a cross-country move and once for an around town move. Both times have been excellent experiences. I have moved 15x and this is the only company I have used more than once. Will use them again for next move! They packed up all my things and everything arrived in tact. The staff was so kind even though it was a 12 hour work day for them. They made me feel relaxed and one member of the team even ran out to get me utensils to eat lunch after they had packed my silverware! 5 stars all the way.

To say that roadway is the best moving company I have ever used is an under statement. I have never seen such professional packers, and the team treated my priceless antiques with such care. Moving across country can be very very stressful but I was at ease after seeing how well my furniture was being treated. The team communicated so well with consistent updates about delivery to our new home. I couldn’t recommend the team more even if I tried!! Truly I felt guilty on move day because I didn’t do anything - and they were so fast and thorough it allowed me to enjoy my last days as a California resident.

We are moving across the country and needed to put all our stuff in storage for a while during the process, and Roadway was so helpful to us in coordinating all of it. Since they have their own storage, we didn't have to worry about organizing two separate moves in order to store our belongings. The move out team was polite and very careful with our things. When my Wife and I decided to move across the country from VA to LA we didn’t factor in the time crunch we were in. Luckily Roadway was available to provide assistance with our long distance move with only a few days notice. The Roadway team demonstrated professionalism as well as provided quality packing of all of our items. From start to finish there were no hiccups when it came to our move. I will absolutely use Roadway again with any future moves we may have!

We have used Roadway three times now--from Queens, NY to Boulder, CO back to the Catskills in NY and now to Los Angeles. Adrian Tarnovetchi has been our point person on all the moves and he's been great. Super responsive, nice and thorough.

This last crew was run by Abdel, and he and his team were super buttoned up and by far the most conscientious packers we've had. Extremely considerate and careful, taking extra care of our things, but also efficient and courteous. All really nice guys.

Roadway helped me move my belongings from New York to Houston. Every representative that I spoke with was super professional and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. They arrived on time to pick up my items from the origin location and to drop items off at the destination location. When they dropped my items off they made sure to protect my floors. Asael then stayed in touch while my stuff was in transit and always checked in. Yusuf transported my stuff and delivered it to an empty apartment as I was not there yet. Even though I wasn't there, he left the boxes in each room they were labeled for, carefully placed the boxes and bulky fragile items, and even put together my bed frame for me, which I already wasn't looking forward to so it was a great surprise to see he had already done that for me. Everyone was so professional and genuinely kind to work with. You'd be doing yourself a disfavor looking anywhere else for moving help-Roadway is the best (and trust me, I've moved a lot)

I waited months to post this until I had unpacked everything from my cross-country move. Roadway moving was absolutely excellent! They were incredibly communicative throughout the quoting and hiring process, the movers were very friendly, thorough and fast, and scheduling delivery couldn't have been easier. Not one item in my move was broken. While overall a little more expensive than other quotes I received, it was absolutely worth the cost given the professionalism and care with which my items were packed.

The entire experience was seamless, from setting up an appointment with Luciano, to the kickass, 0 complaints, good energy movers arriving. (I partnered with Roadway for my move but all opinions are my own). This was my family's first big cross country move and Roadway made the experience a lot less stressful. The crew of 6 guys showed up on time and were very friendly and helpful. Our Foreman was especially kind and made us feel at ease with the whole process. I was also impressed with how they wrapped and packaged our items and furniture. Overall, we are very happy with the move. Our only complaints are that they forgot to pack up one of our small bathrooms. So we ended up having to get rid of all the items in there because we couldn't take them with us. Luckily, the items were not valuable or sentimental so it wasn't a huge deal. The movers also left one of their drills behind. I wish one of the guys had done a final check of the apartment to make sure they had packed up/cleaned up everything. But other than that I feel like the whole process went smoothly and that our items are secure in the truck.

I HIGHLY recommend roadway. I am doing a cross country move and wanted to make sure I found a reliable company to trust with my things! From start to finish they took such good care of my things and even going the extra mile to put down protective carpet to protect my wood floors. Can’t recommend these guys enough if you have an upcoming move! My husband and I moved cross-country from San Francisco to Boston and the entire process from consultation to delivery was so seamless. We went with their full-pack service and it was worth every penny (they packed EVERYTHING for us, we literally did not pack a single box, so were able to enjoy the last few weekends leading up to our move instead of being stuck at home packing). Communication is key with a big move like this and despite the fact that we had so many moving pieces on both ends of our move, their customer service team was fantastic and never failed to provide me with updates or answers to the numerous questions I had along the way. On moving day, the teams were quick, efficient and so careful with all our furniture! Roadway is the most professional (and fun) moving company you’ll come across. They took all the stress out of packing & getting all our things to our new city safely — there’s no way we could have survived this cross-country move without them!

We just used Roadway Moving to fully pack our NYC apartment for our move across the country. It was so amazing! A crew of 5 super friendly guys showed up right on time and assessed what we had. Very quickly, they had everything packed securely and well organized. You’ll get a bunch of barcodes on each box that identify that it’s your stuff. Quick and easy! Now we are heading west and will meet them out there! I would highly recommend this service, especially the full pack. It is so worth it!

Showed up on time, did all the work, packed everything very nicely, not even a hint of damage on anything, and were responsive to my needs. When we got to the new place, they unloaded everything exactly where we wanted and even offered to move things around as we decided where everything should go. Roadway Moving made my cross country move from NY to LA so much easier! I was extremely stressed about such a long distance move, and Roadway made me feel assured and at ease. From the pick-up in NY to the drop-off in CA, all items were scanned against an inventory list and labeled, and all my furniture was packed with care. They even created a custom crate for my 75" TV, and double-taped all my boxes. I couldn't have felt more secure and wouldn't trust a long distance move with any other moving company!

Roadway moving is the best. I never thought I would be excited about a moving company as I figured how can moving companies be different? They are detail oriented, responsive, polite, and customer oriented. The customer care staff would call me everyday to see how the packers were doing and if I had any questions. The staff was phenomenal: they asked questions during the packing and worked efficiently as a team. The items were wrapped, sealed, and protected which you can’t experience until you hire them. All the employees were polite, courteous and efficient. They even drew pictures on the moving boxes which were already clearly labeled. I highly recommend them and trust me I’m very picky. I cannot say enough things about how amazing Roadway Moving is! From the moment I called them to get assessed, to the day of the move, to after, they have been the most professional and amazing movers I've ever had! A cross country move is typically associated with an incredible amount of anxiety and all my fears were mitigated once my lead mover, Luis showed up. He was incredibly attentive, packed up all my things with care, and was able to navigate my tricky hallways and staircases. We had all our stuff packed up and shipped off Friday afternoon and by Sunday morning our items had already arrived! It was incredible and I could not be happier with my experience. I hired Roadway to pack and move my two bedroom apartment from Brooklyn to Virginia. I was consistently impressed with them, from the estimate process (done via video due to COVID), to scheduling, packing, moving, and unloading.

Their crew chief was highly professional and took great care with every item he handled. They were able to pack and load my entire apartment in seven hours, then unloaded at the destination in about four and a half.

Because I hired them to do all my packing, the move wasn’t cheap! But it was worth every penny thanks to their efficiency, care, and professionalism. And the final charge was slightly under the estimate!

Roadway made it EFFORTLESS for us to move across the country from NYC to Florida. I packed up my clothes and things I needed, but they did the hard work, packing all the delicate objects and furniture.
In a matter of hours my apartment was empty and then within a few days everything was securely delivered to my home.
Every single item is given a unique number, scanned in the system and double checked before it is loaded onto a truck, so there is never any worry about anything being missing.
I couldn't recommend this company more, and even though I don't plan on moving again anytime soon, I would use them, if I were going to.

The team at Roadway was such a pleasure to work with. Everyone was super helpful, responsive and extremely helpful. Moving can be so stressful and they made the process so much easier. The estimate I received was quick, accurate and informative. A week before my move they dropped off boxes with plenty of tape and supplies. On the day of my move, the moving team was clean and professional, they all wore masks the entire time and wrapped up all my belongings with care; they handled all my fragile items with extreme care too. They disassembled my furniture and wrapped everything better than when it was delivered when I bought it. On the receiving end in FL the delivery team updated me with their scheduled arrival and kept the lines of communication open. They showed up on time and immediately got to work and they left everything clean and in place. They took all the empty boxes with them and unloaded many of my boxes at an off-site storage facility neat and organized. Just completed an NYC to NJ move of a heavily furnished two-bedroom apartment with crew chief Christain, and his four-person team: Chris, Ishmael and two Alexes. Can't say enough good about how well they managed a complex load in the City with tight serviceways and distribution of furniture and 60+ boxes to multi-level home in icy conditions after freak snow! All of this with absolutely not a scratch on anything due to astonishingly careful and skillful wrapping and crating and consistent extra care, particularly of items identified as valuable monetarily or sentimentally. No rushing, slamming, thumping, bumping or cursing. Just quiet, courteous, efficient and complete professionalism from all 5 team members. Have done lots of moves; this one absolute best, hands down. Not incidentally, all wore masks consistently and correctly, maintained distance whenever physically possible and used lots of sanitizer. Back office support and estimation process was great too, as was management accessibility for routine questions and last minute adjustments to the move. Hire 'em! Period.

Cristian and his team did a great job with a difficult move. They were punctual, professional, and seemingly able to bend the laws of physics in getting a big couch up a narrow set of stairs and around a tight corner. This is the third time I've used Roadway and would not hesitate to do so again.

I moved from NYC to Denver and used Roadway for my move. I'd never done a long distance move and wasn't sure what to expect. Roadway was fantastic. They made it simple, explained each step, gave a good quote, arrived on time. I'm glad I used them.
What's important to know is they are not a broker. They transport your furniture end to end.

I had to move across the country during the pandemic and was looking for a safe moving company that I could trust. I found roadway through some friends and was really pleased with how they moved me. They took such great care of my stuff and extra wrapped my furniture and TV's since they knew it would be a cross country move. They also followed COVID protocols and moved me out all on their own. The team was super friendly. I would 100% use them again and I recommend them to all my friends who are looking for reliable movers.

This business is the worst. I chose it because it had great reviews. The only part that went well was the initial sales call when they sold me a bunch of lies. I overpaid for an experienced NY team to get out to Portland, OR to move my high end furnishings back to NY. I requested full coverage insurance prior to their arrival because I was worried about my items being damaged - in particular one expensive chandelier. The sales rep told me they would have crates for all the items I asked to be crated - some glass & marble table tops/ the chandelier, artwork - I even sent him pictures of the items so they would have the supplies on hand. The movers didn't lift ANYTHING. They rolled the items that were supposed to be crated down the hill to the truck. They flipped my very expensive couches down the hill. The shoved my nice lamps into boxes without removing the shades. I even took a video of them rolling an octagon marble table and sent to the company. I was overcharged for insurance and crates that I did not use. I wouldn't even trust them to take the chandelier after I saw this. They ran out of packing paper twice. When I went back to check everything to make sure nothing was missed - I found a cabinet of glasses. When I asked why didn't they pack - they said we didn't have the paper. I found some paper and began packing myself. They were just going to leave behind!! They were so rushed so the lead mover could make a flight - he packed haphazardly. The whole thing was unreal. Their customer service team says they will give $1k credit for crates - which I haven't seen yet. But that's not the point - the didn't even give me the requested insurance until day after the move, which was mostly to cover for the chandelier - so that was a waste of money because they didn't take it. They have been a nightmare to work with - $1,000 credit on a $68,000 move is a joke. Horrible service and treatment of items. I have such anxiety about how much will be damaged and broken upon arrival. Stay away from this company unless you don't care about your stuff.
