Best movers I've used, and first time I've had a long distance move. The teams were really communicative, helpful, and took care wrapping my things and taking care of my home including protecting the floors, while everything was moved in and out.

I have used Roadway for every move and every cross country move I had ever made. They are like a second family to me, considering how much I have moved. This week, Roadway moved my furniture and possessions from California to New York City — and everything was on time and in the same great condition it always was. Nothing is ever broken. The moving men are always so kind and on top of things, and they move very quickly. I’ve referred Roadway to many friends and always will, as it’s always an over all easy and great experience. Thanks all!

Roadway Moving did such an amazing job with my move from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. They arrived on time and were super friendly and upbeat which really helped calm any nerves I had about this long distance move. They packed up all my things, labeled everything with QR codes and loaded it all into the moving truck within just a few short hours. I then started my 4 day cross country drive and the moving truck was just a few days behind me. I was super impressed with how fast my stuff was delivered which was super important to me and they didn’t let me down. All my things were then unloaded, put back together and put away with great care and without anything being damaged. If I ever move again I will definitely be using Roadway. It’s such a great company and the movers are all genuinely nice people.

I’m actually taken aback by the positive reviews. Maybe it’s local moves vs long-distance. This is my second time moving long distance and this is the worst experience I’ve had. The most stressful part of moving is pick up and the drop off. The logistics of pick up was not smooth but the day of went fine. Now it’s been 3 weeks and I have STILL NOT received an update on when my items will get here. It’s all vague and no one seems to care. There’s a 4-18 days “window” but you would think they would have a delivery date by now. It’s impossible to plan for work because no one has answers. I tried this because it was all over social but brands always treat influencer better than their customers.

Absolutely best experience with moving. When it comes to a long distance move, the whole thing can be very stressful and time consuming, but Roadway was incredibly communicative and kept us updated throughout the entire move. We opted for a partial pack which was super helpful for breakables/TVs/art/kitchen supplies. Our delivery arrived on time and not one single thing broke!

Extremely happy I did the right thing by choosing Roadway Moving to be my movers!! Long distance moves can feel stressful and vulnerable, especially while working on a tight timeline and hearing stories of dishonest moving companies out there charging all kinds of hidden fees and holding valuables hostage... So, I knew I had to go with the most reputable company I could find. The entire process, from getting quotes to moving days, was very efficient; their moving coordinators checked in on my inventory updates, and I received constant communication from Roadway, keeping me posted on the status of my items. My new building had strict moving requirements, and Roadway handled all of it perfectly. This is the first move where I did not have to lift a finger, and I am relieved to see all of my furniture arrive safely from all of the layers of packing. They even handled some of my oddly shaped vintage furniture with loads of care, and disassembled + reassembled everything. Roadway are total pros at what they do, and I have nothing but praises for every single team member I interacted with. Moving to a brand new city can be daunting, but Roadway made it feel effortless :)

We did a cross-country move from Florida to Oregon with Roadway and it was a breeze! Took them only 4.5hrs to pack up our entire apartment, wrap everything and load it up. Arturo and his crew went above and beyond to help me on my move day. The day before, they scout out both locations to make sure they can find ideal spots to park the truck. On the day, they came early, packed everything professionally, and when it comes to unpacking, they made sure to unpack the baby room items first (parents will understand). They even re-did our bed (I can assure you no other movers will do this). Then when they saw that our dogs were scared they went to look for and unpack the dog beds and toys and found our lamp so that I can have light since we don't have lighting in the new place yet. Finally, they spent so much extra effort moving boxes to where they should be so that unpacking is easier for us.

They are friendly, courteous, and above all, so thoughtful with how they can make the day easy for us.

I recently used them for my cross country move from NYC to Cali and it was the best decision ever. From start to finsh they made everything easy and stress free. Such an amazing experience with them! We did a huge cross country move and they made everything so stress-free! Pick up in Boston was quick and efficient, we had a unique situation once we got to California because we had to evacuate a few days later due to the wildfires, which pushed back are things being able to be delivered. I used Roadway twice in the last year for cross country moves and both times they were unbelievably professional, highly reliable and made our cross country move so incredibly easy. They triple wrapped all of my furniture and everything arrived without a scratch. They were fast, communicative and very trustworthy. I will be using them again for all future moving needs!

This is my third time moving with Roadway, and as always, they did a phenomenal job. My previous moves were all local in California, but this time I used Roadway for a cross country move to NYC. Like many of you, I spent the majority of my 20s and 30s packing my car to the brim, bribing friends and family with 6-packs of their favorite drink and many, many boxes of pizza — ultimately resulting in some long nights, sore backs and joints, and the move getting done one way or another. Choosing Roadway Moving was the best decision we made for our cross country move. Moving has always been a stressful experience for us, but not this time ;) The Roadway team was a breeze to work with in advance-- they were very organized and responsive and set us up with a same day quote after a quick facetime of our place, where I showed them everything we wanted to bring. They gave us a quote for a full pack & move from CA > NYC and a quote for just the move. We ended up going with the full pack & move, and I'm SO GLAD we did. They packed everything up in 6 hours and had our entire 4 bedroom house loaded safely and securely on the truck in no time. The team was so friendly, nice & attentive. We felt like we were in such good hands. They gave us a window of when our stuff would be delivered in NYC & they even got it there 4 days before the final date! The said they'd be at our new place at 9am and they showed up right on time! They had everything unloaded so quickly, and put all of our furniture back together like a breeze. It was all SO organized with a packing list that corresponded to each box, so when they brought a numbered box in, I knew EXACTLY where to have them place it. This whole experience was an absolute dream & I cannot recommend them more! 10/10!!

I had the BEST experience with Roadway. I was super nervous about moving cross country, but they made this process so much easier. They packed up our belongings and made sure everything was protected/secure. They listed out every item and made a checklist once my items got to my destination to be sure I received everything. The organization was extremely helpful for us. The movers were extremely friendly & efficient! I made the right decision going with Roadway!

After getting multiple quotes for my cross country move from NY to LA, myself and my family decided to go with Roadway based on their seemingly stellar reviews. But as usual things are not what they seem.One of the few boxes The company packed for us was so poorly packed that our very nice coffee machine was crushed and ruined . We informed the movers packing it was a very expensive machine , and they proceeded to throw it in a box with no protection or packaging. When it made it the LA it was ruined . The foreman in LA of the movers (Who were otherwise pretty good) informed us he was in a slack chat with the owner of the company and told us he will take care of the broken machine. He said submit the paperwork for the broken item, which we did. Now the coffee machine is worth $800. In the end the company offered us about 200$. Now while I'd understand if we packed the machine this would be our issue. But the company packed this machine in their box. If you are at all using Roadway , just be aware if they say they are packing something and it's expensive, if anything happens to the item you will be out of Luck

UPDATE. The company has reached out, and is paying for the replacement of the machine.

I can't recommend Roadway enough!! This was my first time ever having movers and I won't be going back... I was so nervous getting all of my things from New York to California but they made every single part of my cross-country move so painless and eased all my fears. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and went above & beyond to make sure my experience was top-notch - from the move coordinators to the movers themselves (they didn't even complain once when we found out there was a surprise race blocking off my street and they had to park several blocks away). They were extremely gentle with my breakables and their inventory system is so smart. Seriously - book them now!

Pro tip: if you're doing a long-distance move, your timing windows won't be as specific/precise as a short-distance move. You will need to deal with some level of ambiguity, but it is clear Roadway works as efficiently as possible. I look forward to working with Roadway again for a short-distance move.

Started at 9am, ended at 8pm (I have a lottt of stuff) they took apart and put everything together for me at my old place and new place which is always the most stressful part of moving for me. I’ve done a long distance move and a local move now with roadway and I’m just super impressed. They’re always on time and always have a smile on their faces ! The most efficient. Hands down best movers I’ve had… and I’ve moved a lot. Kept all of my furniture safe with extensive padding. Wrapped all of my glass with protective padding. I moved from Los Angeles to Ohio & every item was labeled with barcodes and scanned upon arrival to ensure that nothing was left behind. Was also very fast… did a cross country move in about a week. 10/10 recommend.

I lived in a part of California that was not a big city but they were able to drive 3 hours out of the way, pack up my items, and then get to New York in 1.5 weeks. They were extremely fast in arranging my delivery and also helped me collect my items from my storage back in NY without me actually being physically there. Phenomenal and amazing moving company! I had a wonderful experience with Roadway Moving company, and highly recommend them for your next move, because WOW. To start off, this was no easy feat. This was a cross-country move from Los Angeles to New York. I had everything already in a storage unit so their team arrived on time and early, secured all of my items, took a detailed inventory, and packed it up into their truck. They then went on to transport it across the country. The communications team also maintained great updates with me, and let me know when to expect the delivery. In less than two weeks my items arrived on the truck in NYC, and they delivered everything in perfect condition ( I WAS SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT) !!! Not to mention they also took all of my items up my New York City walk-up/multiple flights of stairs. I made sure to provide them with water and lunch for doing such a great job and left tips for both the pickup and delivery. From the movers to their comms team, I had a wonderful and seamless process. I will definitely be using them next time I move.

I've used Roadway twice now- once for a local move and now again for a cross-country long distance move. There's a reason I went to them again and would do it again! They are really the best team out there!! Not only do they arrive on time and with everything needed for a smooth move-out/move-in process, but they are also the most efficient team! Both times I've been amazed with the amount of care they put into all of my things to make sure nothing gets damaged in transport.

One of the best parts is that they take apart large furniture (bed frames, tables, cabinets, etc.) to wrap and move, then they also put it all back together just as it was on the other side during move-in.

Incredible experience! I shopped around for my long distance move and ultimately ended up going with Roadway. The service was personalized from the start - the agent set up a FaceTime call with me to learn more about my items and everything I needed. I packed all my own stuff, but they do offer a packing service! They called multiple times to confirm my items and my date of move. The day before the move, the Foreman texted me to let me know what time they would be arriving.

The day of the move was so seamless. I could not have asked for anything better! Carlos and Jorge were amazing and got straight to work. They wrapped my furniture so nicely and made sure everything was secure. I have a Peloton bike and they took special care with packing it up. Carlos and Jorge were the best and so nice and efficient, so shoutout to them for all of their hard work!

WE LOVED ROADWAY!!! We moved from California to Tennessee with a NEWBORN and it was fast and easy. It only took 8 days for them to move cross country- that's wild! They packed all of our stuff so tight and well, nothing broke in the entire process. They were also super communicative. I have had horrible experiences with movers in the past and Roadway completely redeemed those.

Incredible experience! I hired Roadway Moving for a cross country move from NYC to LA, and the team was absolutely fantastic. They were on-time, efficient, caring, and professional. Had an awesome experience working with Roadway for my long-distance move. I opted for a partial self-packing package, and honestly regret not simply letting them do it all for me, once I had the change to see how organized and careful they were packing and wrapping every single leftover item and piece of furniture. They were on time, polite and super efficient. Never once was anyone sitting still (except for me, I was sitting back and watchin, amazed); everyone was always moving and working on something. Highly recommend and would work with them again, for sure. Communication before, during and after was also consistent and reliable. Every question answered and always easy to get a hold of.

It was my partner's and my first time moving cross-country and using a moving company. We were a bit nervous about this process because we’ve always done the moving ourselves. However, after scoping out the reviews, we went with Roadway, and it was one of the best decisions for our move. Moving can be super stressful, but Roadway made it super easy and seamless. Both teams (picking up from LA to delivery in NYC) were above our expectations! They were thoughtful throughout the whole process (double-checking the boxes, the items we were shipping) and just super friendly. We appreciated how swiftly they moved (they finished everything in under 2 hours for us both times) and how careful they were with all our big items. We were surprised they even put our beds and TV together. They even double-wrapped and taped the boxes we packaged ourselves. All in all, we had a very good experience with Roadway and would definitely use them again!

My wife and I moved across the country - NYC to California and Roadway made it a peaceful move. I first considered renting a U-Haul, packing it myself, and driving it cross country but received a quote for $7K. This was the price just for the truck and the keys. Tools, boxes, gas, or any other kind of help was not included. Roadway provided a much better service at a fraction of that cost. It could have been much more stressful, especially with a 17 month old, but this moving company delivered on their promise. I spoke with Adrian, the sales rep, and he told me that I would be impressed. I often hear that to only be disappointed but Roadway definitely impressed me. I was most surprised by the disassembly AND the reassembly of our furniture. I'm pretty handy but our queen-sized bed frame has a lot of intricate parts so I was relieved that they efficiently took care of the furniture for me. Roadway movers brought their own tools and even made sure I didn't lift a box upon delivery. They placed everything exactly where I wanted them to be placed and even asked multiple times if there was anything else I wanted them to do. These guys clearly work hard and had plenty of jobs to do that day but didn't make me feel rushed. There is so much more I can say about my positive experience. I will be calling Roadway if I ever move again for sure. 5 Stars.

This was my first time using Roadway and I cannot recommend them enough. I had a huge from Los Angeles to NYC, and kept going back and forth with how I wanted to ship/move my stuff. I found Roadway, as they are able to do long-distance moves from these cities. I had a few friends recommend them from their moves (both local and state to state) as well, so I decided to go with them! I am SO HAPPY I did: both the LA and NY teams were so friendly and efficient (literally moved me in and out in 20 minutes for 15 boxes). They even packed up my clothes for me in their wardrobe boxes, which made it super easy to unpack those. They gave me 48 hours heads up before delivery cross-country and a checklist so check off each box they brought in to ensure I had all my belongings from the long move. Everything arrived safe and sound and I couldn't be happier!!

Did a cross-country move and Raodway was amazing! They came and packed all of my furniture and boxes in less than two hours and they were super gentle and wrapped everything so it wouldn't get damaged during transit. During delivery, they were also super quick and unloaded in less than an hour. They set up all my furniture for me so everything was ready for me when they left. Definitely using Roadway for all my future moves!!

I can understand how frustrating finding the right mover as right price is. I was in the same situation few months back. The moving industry is very infamous for their hidden charges, last minute surprises and very hard to trust someone's words over call. I had same doubts for Roadway moving. But they give me very fair quote for cross country move (NJ to CA). Eugene was the representative and he gave me words that I can trust the process and there won't be any surprises along the way. I booked the move with them, the price they gave me was really good and competitive. I got Krystle as assigned move coordinator (what a fantastic person to work with). I never had to reach out to them, they used to get in touch with me from time to time to update me with move. On the day of pickup, crew came on time and they were nice, accommodated our small requests. The packing/wrapping of furniture and organizing small items were very thoughtful. When stuff was in transit, Krystle used to give me text update every other day. On the day of delivery, the crew from Roadway moving itself came. They delivered all items (without losing any single item). The crew at delivery, Elmar, was amazing and easy going person. They were polite and respectful of all asks. Guys did fantastic job.

Overall, very very positive experience with Roadway moving. I would very highly recommend them and will work with them again if the need comes.

Lost irreplaceable items in my cross country move as well as delivering items that did not belong to me once I arrived at my final destination. Did not have any sense of urgency to locate my items nor did my coordinator call me to apologize for the inconvenience.

I hired Roadway Moving to move my husband and I out of our first apartment in Los Angeles together. They made every single part of the move seamless and the least stressful. They really took care of all our items we’ve collected over the years in our move, were incredibly careful with packing- I really trusted them. They came right on time and packed all of the furniture very efficiently and kept in communication throughout the whole delivery window and gave me enough noticed to be prepared upon its arrival in Los Angeles.
