Our belongings arrived in New York surprisingly fast, and the delivery team was incredible. They carried everything up, unboxed it, and placed each item exactly where we wanted it in the new apartment. They were efficient, careful, and super friendly the entire time.

We had such an amazing experience with Roadway Moving! They made our move so easy and completely stress-free. We were moving from Connecticut to Pennsylvania and they packed up our entire place, moved all of our big furniture, and handled everything with so much care. They even packed and unpacked our whole closet, which was a huge help.

All of the movers were so friendly and kind. They packed up our apartment in about an hour, then drove to Pennsylvania and unpacked everything and put it exactly where we wanted it. We’ve moved several times and this was by far the easiest and most stress-free move we’ve ever had.

the movers went above and beyond to make what is usually a very stressful day of moving stress-free. I sat back while they took everything out of my apartment and down to the truck. I moved long-distance and it only took less than a week for my stuff to be delivered. roadway moving is very communicative and provides constant updates so that you know what to expect from the beginning. I used Roadway to move everything I own from NYC down to Georgia and it was a seamless and wonderful process from start to finish!! My furniture was already wrapped since it was in storage and they double protected it and went above and beyond. The movers were so friendly, fun, and efficient! Moving is usually horrible but they made my experience such a great one. I’ve never done a long distance move before and the team handled everything flawlessly.

Wonderful service. Five-star workers. Friendly, respectful, and incredibly professional. Our move was from NYC to Massachusetts. The office staff were helpful and flexible (Momo), also Nancy was fantastic, as were the other two guys (sorry I don't remember their names). The delivery in Massachusetts was also five-star. Highly recommend this company.

I provided roadway with a box count and dimensions and they gave me a great price for my cross country move. No surprises on delivery. Everything was in great shape and no additional money owed. They delivered when they said and the men were super efficient and friendly. I would and have recommended them to other people moving.

I used Roadway for my recent move out of New York City to San Francisco, and they were exceptional from start to finish.

From the moment the team arrived, I felt like I was in really good hands. They were on time, extremely organized, and walked me through every step before they started packing. They treated my things with so much care — wrapping furniture thoughtfully, labeling everything clearly, and making sure fragile items were extra protected. You can tell they’ve done this thousands of times, but they still made my specific move feel important.

What really stood out to me was how calm and professional they were during a moment that is usually extremely stressful. Moving across the country is a big life transition, and Roadway removed so much of the anxiety from the process. Communication was clear the whole way through, everything arrived in great condition, and the timeline they estimated was accurate.

Moved from Brooklyn, NY to Chicago, IL and also had the Roadway team do the packing. Efficient move, good communication throughout and they accommodated a last minute change to the arrival window which was much appreciated. Everything arrived in perfect condition and both the pick up and delivery teams were a pleasure to work with.

Used Roadway for a long distance move and overall am very happy with the service. I had a few frustrations with my sales rep and move coordinator, but the director of customer service has been extremely kind and helpful in making sure everything is resolved.

In regard to the actual move, both move teams were great and very nice. Overall, I'd recommend them again but just make sure to be very clear in the beginning with your rep on the inventory. I would also ask them to make sure they check if they will need a shuttle to complete the move, so you don't get a surprise $300 charge upon arrival.

What a delight this experience was!
I moved from NYC to SF with about 68 boxes/ pieces of furniture. Cleveland was my go to dude and he was AWESOME! Came to my place to assess the damage, he was clear with all the info and also we chatted about video games which is always great!
The NYC crew arrived so punctually it was TO THE MINUTE of 9am. They were so efficient (even if I was having some panic moments with my timeliness) and helpful.
My window of arrival was between Oct 31st-Nov 15th and my stuff got here on Nov 4th! Krystal was super communicative with all my “on the road” updates, which is always a plus when you’re anxious like me…
And on the arrival end, Manuel and Roberto were absolute superstars. My SF apartment has a few stairs (exhausting) but they were zooming up and down like true professionals. Bing bang boom and they were done! And lovely fellas as well.
The only hiccup we had was at the end when the sticker QR code reading system had to be rebooted, which wasn’t even that bad cuz Manuel, Roberto and I got to chat and, like I said, just some sweet dudes.

I had a long distance move from Brooklyn to Florida. . The packers were very thorough and quick. Communication with me before , during and after was great. The movers at the Florida end were also great and quick. Nothing was damaged. The quality of the boxes and packing material were first rate.

I did not use Roadway Moving but leaving a review because I wish I did use Roadway Moving. They were transparent with me every step of the way and I chose another vendor because they offered a better price. Lesson learned. For any long distance move, consider Roadway as I have many regrets that I did not and the vendor I chose nickel and dimed me in the 48hrs leading up to my move. I even reached back out to Roadway to put together a last minute quote as I was trying to get out of a contract. Good customer service and peace of mind may cost a premium and I wish I listened to my gut and chose Roadway. I will be choosing them for my next move.

We had an excellent experience with Roadway Moving. You literally get a whole team of Operations and Logistics to serve you.

Their team was professional and very efficient. The move out was very fast considering everything that needed to be packed, and the move in was even faster. They also had the COI and everything we needed to comply with our building's move out policy.

I had to change the inventory a couple of times before the move out date and their team was super accommodating.

We moved interstate (from Florida to Texas) and I had a representative call or text me almost every day to give me updates. Everything took about 2.5 weeks to arrive. I did think it was going to be a little faster, but can't complain considering they saved us so much work. Would definitely recommend!

I'd give roadway a solid 4.8 if I could so instead I'll go for 5. We opted for a full pack service and moved from NY to SF. The full pack went great. Everything we received in SF was in good condition with exception of two items that were wrapped and packed up not in boxes - a plastic bin and a garbage can. So if you are questioning whether to put something in one of their boxes, just do it.
The gentlemen who did the full pack were efficient and truly packed the items like they were their own belongings.
We did not do a full unpack which meant everything was moved in, the furniture was reassembled, and all clothes on hangers were put into closets. I recommend this so you can take the time to put your items into their proper places.
The only ding on Roadway came from timing expectations. Roadway was fully within their delivery window with one day to spare. Like all moving companies, cross-country shipment depends on timing and logistics that make sense for the company. Don't assume that your items will come out "within a week" or "as a sole shipment". Assume it'll be the last day of the delivery window so you aren't frustrated with the actual delivery time.

I usually don’t do reviews, but because I had such an amazing experience with this company and the team, I had to. I used Roadway Moving for my long distance move from New Jersey to Florida, and I couldn’t be happier! From start to finish, the process was smooth and stress free. The team handled all of the packing, and when they arrived in Florida, they also helped me unpack! They were so careful unloading everything, I was really surprised with their attention to detail. They placed all my furniture exactly where I wanted it and made sure nothing was damaged. Everyone was so friendly and professional, it really made a big difference. Roadway outdoes themselves everytime. I've moved three times in the last three years and would NEVER choose anyone except Roadway! This one meant even more because I moved from Miami to Austin and I was worried about the delivery time, items breaking etc. But they came in a shorter estimate than expected and everything was perfect! There service is amazing, and I never have to worry about anything with them. I always recommend to friends and family!

We had a great experience with Roadway from start to finish. Ryan and his team were excellent and efficient. They made sure to protect our walls and floor while handling our boxes and furniture with great care. They were professional and courteous and completed our move within four hours. Roadway Moving has moved me twice. First, they packed up my apartment in Brooklyn and stored all of those boxes and furniture at their warehouse for several months. Then they moved it all from NY to Maine. Through it all everyone was extremely professional, caring and friendly. I had nothing damaged or broken. The care they took with wrapping was much better than I ever would have done so it was worth the extra expense. Upon moving day to Maine they unwrapped the furniture and put back together the furniture that was taken apart. Not a screw was missing. Very very organized. The three men who made that last move drove all the way from NY to Maine, stopped at another storage facility I was keeping in Maine, added that load to the truck and then unpacked my stuff for hours and then got back in the truck and drove back to NY! All with smiles and a sense of accomplishing the job thoroughly. I highly recommend Roadway Moving.

Best moving company everrrr! Had a wonderful experience with them in both locations (NJ and South Florida) I had read so many reddit threads before choosing and my grandmother went and booked them without my knowledge) Well her intuitive choice was right! I was very happy with the care my very old antiques received. They wrapped things beautifully and there WERE NO HIDDEN FEES like their competitors (or so I heard through others' experience). If you are moving from the northeast to south Florida I totally recommend! Thank you to the team that handled my items - they were very important to me and the guys that helped pick everything up went above and beyond (these are 100 -120 years old antiques so I can't replace them). So happy to also report they came early (almost too early because I'm not done with the space but it's all good- they made it!) thank you roadway!!! ❤️

I’ve used a lot of moving companies over the last 10 years (because of what I do for work). Tbh, I’ve had pretty good experiences across the board with all of them (although were typically a few details that weren’t ideal). However…… Roadway is in a category of their own. If you are someone who values attention to detail & employees who are not only friendly, but are also really good at their job……the experience truly feels 5 star. From the initial call to get a quote, to the moving coordinator (who was AMAZING……kept me in the loop every step of the way, was super on top of every detail & was spot-on with the arrival date), to the team of guys who arrived to meticulously pack my things, the team of guys who delivered & reassembled everything (Eugene, the team lead on the delivery side was fantastic)…….its a well-run operation from start to finish. Roadway moving was seriously excellent, from sales to coordination, to moving on both ends across the country. The main reason I chose them was because they don't use any brokers or third party companies. It's all Roadway from start to finish, which, if you've ever moved, is where you can get really screwed. I was coming in with moving ptsd from a bad past experience and Michelle, my coordinator was patient in answering my endless meticulous questions. The movers on both ends were amazing and treated my stuff with so much care. Everything got there and not a single thing was broken. On the move-in end, my elevator broke days before they were supposed to arrive and they accommodated me with no hesitation or extra charges. Will use roadway again and recommend to anyone. 100/10. First time using roadway and I highly recommend! Hugo and Orlando delivered and reassembled all my stuff with such care. They were super fast and efficient and had great communication. Roadway was PHENOMENAL! My husband and I were doing a long distance move from Albany, New York down to Marietta, Georgia. From the very beginning - the team was incredible. The communication was quick, thorough, and clear. On moving day, the team came in right on time according to the moving window. The team was very sweet and made sure to take immense care of our things. They laid down blue carpets to protect the floors, and strategically worked through our apartment to pack all of our things. We are in the busiest season of our lives: recent weddings, dance competitions, building businesses - so the fact they packed EVERYTHING was beyond helpful. It felt like a normal work day. I will never go back to moving the old way again. They got our stuff safely down to Georgia - nothing was broken - and unloaded everything into the respective rooms in the house. They even reassembled the furniture! I really cannot recommend Roadway enough. The people - so friendly and hard-working. The service - fast, excellent, efficient. Don’t hesitate to hire Roadway.

I don’t have enough good things to say about Roadway moving! From the first second I spoke to the team on the phone to when Dorde, George and Milovan picked up our stuff and loaded it all, there was nothing but professionalism and ease. I've moved with Roadway twice now - once between two apartments in Manhattan, and once long-haul from North Carolina to Long Island (both including them packing). They are the best in the business: not a single thing is ever broken; they are fast & efficient, but never rushing or hasty; they are extremely communicative and punctual; and they are polite, thorough, and help you arrange your furniture how you want it (even when you change your mind after the first place you had them put something!). They legitimately make it a stress-free move: I changed nothing in my lifestyle up until the day before the move, when I just packed an overnight suitcase for myself, and let the movers do their thing. I did a long distance from New York City to Fort Lauderdale. The movers in NY were fast and professional. The driver Luis was punctual and check in with me about all items. Once I received notice my items were in Florida, Hugo Reyes and Orlando moved my items into my new place seamlessly. They were fast, careful and very friendly. We moved from NY to California. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like without Roadway. They came to our 3 story house in NY and over the course of a day and well into the evening packed everything that we had not already packed so beautifully that, when the furniture, etc. came less than 2 weeks later, everything was in perfect shape! Once here in CA, they unpacked the biggest pieces and moved them carefully into our 1200 sq ft new home and, of course, into the garage. Everything was labeled so well that we were able to organize ourselves and our stuff within another 2 weeks. Worth every dollar that we spent!

I’ve used Roadway moving 3 years in a row—2 local moves and 1 long-distance—and they’ve always been reliable and professional. While they may be a more premium cost, it includes white glove service and they do a very thorough inventory estimate so there are no surprises. I have worked with Anne, the sales rep, on each move and she is wonderful. She even FaceTimed to help put together the inventory list so nothing was missed.

For our most recent move, we were supposed to have 3–4 movers, but only Isma (the foreman) and Bilo showed up. Honestly, we didn’t even realize anyone was missing until later—that’s how efficient and hard-working they were. They handled everything with care, especially the kitchen, which they packed and labeled perfectly.
