BEST. MOVERS. EVER. Look, I've heard some absolute horror stories from people about long-distance moving. I was cautious about hiring any company, but a friend recommended Roadway after they moved from Los Angeles to NY. I thought their price was fair considering I had another set of friends recently move from California to Texas with another national line, and it cost them twice as much as Roadway quoted me for a roughly same-sized apartment. They wrapped up my furniture with great care (blankets, cardboard corners, plastic), protected my floors with rubber mats and covered the edges of main doorways they were moving through. Tons of communication happened prior to the move and after. OH and the best part. Our stuff arrived across the country in exactly one week. UNHEARD OF!

Moving with Roadway Moving was an absolute pleasure. Their team was professional, punctual, and handled our belongings with great care. Everything arrived safely and on time. Robert and Franklin were efficient, friendly, and stress-free from start to finish. Highly recommend them for any move—big or small!

Jose and his team were fantastic to work with. He was communicative, and the entire team was incredibly detail-oriented. They worked quickly and were thoughtful about where to park the truck and how to protect larger items.

Dzenis and his two staff helped with our move from NYC to California. They were troopers carrying almost 20 boxes and multiple furniture down our 4 flight walk up in NYC. All furniture and fragile equipment like my Dyson protected extra with padding, bubble wrap, etc. All so kind as well. They arrived on time and finished packing our 1 bed apartment in under 2 hours. This is our 2nd time using Roadway, they’re our go-to company for movers. Ken at Roadway helped coordinate the moving logistics and he is incredible.

I’ll be sure to update my review once my move is complete, but I wanted to share how great my experience with Roadway Moving has been so far. Much of that is thanks to my sales person, David Trujillo. From the start, he has gone above and beyond to make sure I fully understand the process and feel comfortable every step of the way. He’s also incredibly responsive and that level of reliable communication makes all the difference. Thanks again to David — I’m looking forward to a smooth and successful cross-country move!

The BEST experience !! Roadway was so professional through the entire process. You even get your own moving coordinator assigned so you can text/call whenever questions come up. They did an incredible job packing and securing everything. NOTHING was damaged. I will definitely be using the next time I move!!

Melvin Ponciano and crew arrived on time and were incredibly easy to work with and very efficient. They saved me a lot of stress because I knew I was in very good hands. Melvin will take great care of you, too. Too bad I can only give five stars!

This is my third cross country move. Found Roadway online, and based on their rating, record, responsiveness, and guidance leading up to the move out day, I would recommend them. Not the cheapest option but I went that way in my first cross country move and regretted it. The crew arrived on time (I was able to track their truck en route) and they were quick, professional, and good humored. Julio (crew lead) was really great too work with. Thank you!!

Brahim, Ilyas and team were the absolute best!!!! They worked so fast, took extra care of all of our valuable items. The customer service was top notch - they even surprised me with a birthday cake because I moved on my birthday!! Some of you may have seen my previous review, of an atypical and severe mishap by Roadway that resulted in a significant amount of damage to my belongings during the move. Needless to say, it was not a happy review.

But Roadway Moving was quick to address the issue, taking utmost care and responsibility to make sure they fully understood my situation, the severity of it, where it possibly went wrong, and worked closely with me to make it right. I never felt like a bothersome customer being passed around from Rep to Rep; I felt like someone who was actually heard and taken seriously. That’s a rare thing to feel from a large company.

This has proven to me that Roadway is a company that contains a lot of integrity, and prides themselves on high-quality service and commitment to their customers, and I respect them a lot because of it. It’s no wonder they have so many positive reviews.

Shoutout to Ross and Esi for taking the time to talk to me and resolving the issue, and for being receptive about learning from this unfortunate and unprecedented case.

I used Roadway when I moved from Brooklyn to Madison so I recommended that my mom use them too when she moved to Wisconsin. Jay was great at communicating with her and accommodating her schedule. Filip and his team did an amazing job packing all of her belongings (and she has a lot of little things and dishware and photos, etc.) including her baby grand piano. They were really careful handling everything and were also very friendly! I would definitely recommend Roadway for your moving needs!

I moved from HTX to NYC. From the second I booked, their team was on it. Communication? 10/10. Professional? 10/10. They showed up ON TIME, handled my stuff with care, and literally took all the stress off my plate!

Melvin, Samuel, & Omar were the dream crew!! They unloaded my move from Ohio to Texas. They communicated their arrival time with me & when they showed up they got right to work. The 3 gentlemen were kind, efficient & respectful of my home & belongings. They cleaned up when they were done, assembled my furniture and even put floor mats down to be sure to keep my floors clean. I had some packages at my door that they even helped me bring inside. I would rehire them again & again!! They had smiles on their faces the whole time & even greeted my puppy. I enjoyed having them along for my move.

Moving team was good, supportive, and efficient. However, i got charged an extra fee by their moving partners in canada of 612 dollars after they indicated roadway said i would be responsible for it. Roadway reached out and said they would refund a fee I got from their international moving partners, which I appreciated.

After 6 years of moving every 3–9 months due to travel nursing, I can confidently say this was one of the smoothest moves we’ve ever had. The team was incredibly professional, efficient, and handled everything with so much care. From packing to loading, everything felt organized and intentional.

We’ve done so many DIY moves over the years, and this experience was a completely different level. It took so much stress off of us and made the whole process feel seamless instead of overwhelming. Truly such a game changer and I would absolutely use them again.

Roadway made my moving experience super seamless and easy. I did not really have time to pack up my apartment myself, so having the packing and moving option was helpful. I would not recommend Roadway Moving. This was a terrible experience, especially for a long-distance move and considering the premium prices they charge and the level of service they claim to provide.

As a return customer, I expected professionalism and care, but the experience was the opposite. The crew was clearly rushed, and one of the movers was visibly frustrated and focused on getting to the next job. This resulted in my belongings being handled carelessly. My TV was damaged despite being in good condition prior to the move, and several furniture items were not treated with the level of care you would expect from a company positioning itself as high-end.

The packing process was also mishandled. The movers misplaced the original screws for my desk, and when it was reassembled, incorrect screws were used, leaving it wobbly and unstable. This was completely avoidable and shows a lack of attention to detail.

Overall, this experience fell far below expectations. For the price they charge and the promises they make about quality service, I expected much better. I would not recommend them, especially for long-distance moves.

I had a long distance move and Roadway helped me relieve so much stress with it! I didn’t lift a pinky when it came to moving my furniture. They took my bed apart and put it back together, wrapped all of my furniture carefully and the staff was really kind. I have recommended them to so many friends already :)

If there was a way to give them six stars, I would.

I'm in the process of moving from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. I found one company with great ratings, but was charging way too much. Then I found Roadway, who gave me a much better price. Note that they do airline-style pricing, with the cost being cheaper the earlier you book.

From the beginning through my stuff arriving, their communication was excellent. I always knew where I was in the process and got all my questions answered quickly.

Then, when the guys came to load my stuff, they went out of their way: they helped pack some things I hadn't sorted yet. And when I realized that I had forgotten to send my bike (listed on the manifest but I had left it in the garage), I asked if I could drop it off at their storage facility. They said no need, as they had another move nearby the next day and came and picked it up!

The estimate for delivery was up to 19 days but they got it there in ten. Everything was great and I even hired them to remove old furniture in the new home.

These guys were so good that I almost thought it was a scam. But it was all legit and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for movers - local or national - you definitely need to start here.

The whole process was so smooth and effortless for me.
All of my belongings arrived in the exact condition they collected them in, they dismantled and reassembled my bed and a few other small furniture items.

Moving back to California after living in New York was far from an easy decision. They made sure my television was fully protected, created a custom casing for my delicate circular bookshelf, and even placed my mattress in a protective moving box, which I had never seen before.

Moving from a storage unit (a stored 1BR + office apartment) in NYC to a house in Florida.

Everything was amazing! They picked my full apartment that was in a storage unit in NYC, repacked a lot of things to properly protect my belongings (better than I would) and delivery it to Florida. No damage, no missing items, they even did closed my storage unit contract and left the unit clean!

The delivery day they send you a link where you can follow the truck. And the delivery guys were very nice and kept asking where to drop each item and if I need help unpacking and assembling things (which I didn't since I wasn't sure of were I will want each thing in my new house).

I used Dumbo twice before while moving in NYC and Roadway was way better in communication, packing and taking care of my belongings.

Arnold and his team were truly amazing. Not only they did everything fast, smoothly and professionally but they also made my day be great. Such an amazing group of people. Five stars without hesitation. When we decided to make the move from Texarkana to Dallas, we knew we needed a team that could handle the distance and the challenges waiting at both ends. Roadway Moving delivered in every possible way.

From the moment they arrived, Melvin and Omar set the tone for what would be an exceptional experience. These two professionals approached our belongings with genuine care and attention. Fragile items were wrapped meticulously. Heavy furniture was maneuvered with precision. Nothing was rushed, and nothing was overlooked.

The conditions at our locations would have tested any moving crew. We had multiple flights of stairs, no elevator access, and hallways so narrow that most people would have thrown up their hands in frustration. Not Melvin and Omar. They measured, they strategized, and they executed flawlessly. Watching them navigate a large sectional sofa through an impossibly tight corner was like watching artists at work.

Roadway truly knocked it out of the park - I moved 2000 miles across the country and they handled everything so professionally, kindly, and fairly from sending an estimate to unloading the last box. 10x better value and so worth it versus ordering moving pods to pack / ship myself. There was great communication from the crew on arrival times for move-in + move out and they were extremely professional. From packaging my stuff to disassembling and assembling my larger pieces of furniture, the whole process for my studio apartment took less than 2 hours.

Additionally, the crew was meticulous in wrapping all pieces with shrink wrap and blankets ensuring that they would be safely transported during the move.

So far the entire experience has been excellent. Everyone has been super clear and transparent, the moving team that came by handled all my items with care - they even reinforced what I had already packed for extra safety. They moved very quickly and made me feel very comfortable with the entire experience.

I don’t think I can ever move without Roadway Movers again. This was my first time moving out of a home with actual furniture, and I truly could not tell you the first thing about doing that securely and efficiently for a long distance move 800 miles away.

BOOK WITH ROADWAY! From the beginning, the customer service with Roadway was THE BEST. I had great communication with Roger to book our long-distance move from TX to NY, and there were no surprises on pickup day (which is so rare in this industry!). Jonathan and his crew that came on pickup day were SO friendly, so meticulous, and overall did an incredible job. It was actually an enjoyable day, which I feel like never happens on a moving day. 10/10 would recommend and will use them again.

They made moving from Texas to Virginia so easy and for a better price than a lot of other companies. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They call and update you on everything in a timely manner and make sure you understand everything every step of the way. My movers called 30 minutes before they got to my apartment and Melvin took away all the stress of packing up my apartment. They wrapped all my furniture so well to prevent damage and the same for the extra boxes they helped me pack. Everything is double and triple wrapped to protect your items and they put QR codes on all your boxes so you can track them the whole time. Everything they did during the packing process showed that they too cared about my belongings and ensuring they safely got to Virginia. Every person I spoke to with the company is kind, helpful and more than willing to give you any information to ease your mind during your move.

I’m not much for writing reviews, but we threw a lot of wrenches into our multi-stop, long-distance move and the people at Roadway rolled with everything. I wanted to write this as a show of thanks. Our coordinator Justin was clear, professional, and detailed. Because our move was complicated, I expected there would be crossed wires along the way, but he understood everything perfectly and there were no hiccups along the way. Christine was also very responsive and made herself available if we needed it.

The movers themselves were great! We had two separate crews (LA and SF). Both worked quickly, packed and unpacked the furniture carefully. The SF crew switched around furniture at the last minute when I ended up moving into a different unit. I deeply appreciate everyone’s patience during what was undoubtedly a very confusing job

Roadway moving services moved me from California to Texas. And did an excellent job I wasn’t there for pickup but the delivery to my new home in Austin, TX by Mevin And his 2 associates whom are based out of Dallas was everything they showed up 30 minutes early on the 1st delivery window day . Nothing was broken or misplaced I give roadway moving services a 10/10 . And will be definitely using them for future moves

I hired roadway movers to help with my cross country move. The team arrived early, got straight to work and took care of all of my things like they were their own. I cannot say enough good things about how my stuff was wrapped, handled, and loaded. Pricing and customer service was great, I will recommend this company over and over again.

Incredible service and value. If you’re considering moving, use roadway. The entire team is great, Ivan and Pedro helped us move in SF and they were able to navigate tight stairways and streets like absolute professionals. They knew what they were doing the whole time all of our furniture arrived safe and undamaged and protect protected and clean.

I moved from Miami to New York so it was a far move but they do local moves too!! They were actually amazing and packed everything up for me & told me to sit and relax lol. All my plates, cups, breakables were individually wrapped. They made custom wooden boxes for my TVs, wrapped my couch, bed, vanity.. etc… in layers of plastic wrap and blankets. Amazing crew.

Roadway Movers handled my entire cross-country move from start to finish — packing, supplies, and shipping — and I could not be more impressed. They provided all the packing materials, carefully packed everything up, and got it all safely across the country without a hitch.
My biggest piece of advice for anyone moving: don't try to piece-mail it. Coordinating movers, packing supplies, and shipping separately becomes an absolute nightmare. Handing it all off to Roadway Movers was a game-changer. One call, one team, zero stress.

Got a new job and needed to get my wife and I cross country and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. The delivery window was Feb 26th to March 11th, got a delivery window of the 26-28th after pickup; then a 24 hour notice on the 26th; and we got all of our stuff delivered on the 27th.

There was some delay and a $300 charge because the truck wouldn't have worked with how narrow our complex is, the guys had to go get a van and move everything over. We have everything unpacked now and everything has come out with no issue at all. Even some models I had paced pretty poorly came out totally fine. We are most likely moving again in 12 months and will be using them again without a doubt.

They also helped with disassembly and assembly on pickup and drop off. I believe we were around their minimum to charge because we wanted to replace most of our stuff (5 year old couch, 7 year old coffee table, etc).

Total to move a one bedroom with 15 boxes, a mattress, dresser, cabinet, desk, PC/monitor, and pet ramp was $2912.

Boyan was excellent in helping me move from Brooklyn to Philly! He and his teammate were quick, unloading and loading in about under two hours at each location for a single bedroom apartment. Boyan was very accommodating and communicative throughout the entire move, which was incredibly helpful as I had my own schedule to juggle, catching the Amtrak from NYC to Philly. Roadway Moving, itself, was reasonably priced, short of $2000 for an interstate move, and it was absolutely worth it. For what you pay for, you get professional, reliable service with great people and peace of mind. I can’t recommend enough!
