Having moved over 6 times in the last 7 years, I've learned to expect the worst from moving companies. However, Roadway did not disappoint!! Not only did they arrive at the time they said they would, everything went smoothly and was handled with care. Having some cheaper furniture pieces, I was worried how they would hold up during the move, but the packers actually wrapped each piece of furniture in cardboard, plastic, etc. before putting it in a box. Then everything was unwrapped, put back together, and in one piece when they delivered! Seriously impressed. Prices are competitive and they gave us peace of mind during our out-of-state move!

I used Roadway for a move out of NYC to New Jersey, and I was definitely anxious about my first interstate move. Luckily, Roadway made the process super seamless. They showed up and moved out over 30 pre-packed boxes in less than 20 minutes, plus they wrapped all my furniture with care, including three mirrors, a couch and a ton of framed art I worried may be at risk during the move. Turns out, I had no reason to worry at all! The lovely team assured me everything would be safe, and it was. They got to my apartment in record time and moved everything in in the blink of an eye. I’d assumed they’d just plop down the boxes and leave, having fulfilled their duties, but they stayed and made sure I was one hundred percent happy with my furniture placement, even offering to help build my bed while we waited for a final rug to be delivered! I can’t thank the team enough for being so lovely, and for making a sometimes-stressful process seem like a breeze. Rather than worry, I was able to spend the day excited about a fresh start in my new space, and for that I’ve got my Roadway crew to thank.

Roadway made my move a million times easier. They let me know they were on their way and texted periodically with updates. When they arrived, they were extremely friendly and prepared. They wrapped all my furniture safely and swiftly, helped me dispose of trash I had lying around, and quickly packed up the truck. When they got to my new place, they asked a lot of questions to make sure everything was in the right place, helped me move stuff around to visualize it in the space, and kept track of all my boxes to make sure they didn’t miss a beat. Overall, everything was handled professionally, compassionately, and thoughtfully. I was so stressed about this move but thanks to Roadway, it was a breeze. 10/10 would hire again!

Roadway Movers absolutely saved our lives with our cross-county move in southern CA. They carefully and efficiently moved us from a 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor of an elevator building to a single family home in one day. Not a single item damaged. Not a single wall scratched. Also they wrap anything that is even remotely breakable in movers blankets and plastic wrap to ensure safe transit! The roadway team was polite, responsive, respectful, and overall a great investment in our sanity during a normally very stressful moving process!

I just used Roadway to move from DC to Brooklyn and had a wonderful experience. I've used movers before locally, but this move was above and beyond. They wrapped all of our expensive and heavy art, furniture, mattresses, beds, etc from our 2 bed apartment with care and not a single thing arrived broken, chipped, scratched, etc! They even re-assembled our terribly tedious bed frame upon arriving to the new place and worked super efficiently, taking all the trash with them as well. I'm 100% using Roadway for future moves.

Somehow calling Roadway “the best” is still an understatement. They were friendly, very informative, asked questions about everything (which gave great piece of mind), and went above and beyond to make sure I felt happy and comfortable with my move. the smoothest & most professional moving experience i've ever had (and I've had quite a few). you can truly tell roadway movers + the movers assigned to you actually care about doing a job well done. they take care of your things as if it is their own.

they communicated and double checked things with us to ensure proper wrapping and moving which I appreciated instead of just assuming. the care to detail was great.

on top of being professional, they were also very kind. having strangers in your space for 7+ hours may seem invasive, but it did not feel that way at all, as they were very friendly and I enjoyed the small conversations we had in passing.

I've moved with Roadway twice now (one long distance and one local) and would never move without them! Truly makes moving a much better experience. Roadway is always on time, responsive, and takes so much care with your items. They are organized and the movers are always in great spirits. I had no idea how to properly pack large items like mirrors or art, but I trust Roadway with how thorough they are with fragile items. They also take care to protect sofa and chair materials so no marks on my white linen sofa! I've also used their storage option and it's by far the most efficient and safe way to go between moves. Love Roadway so much and recommend them to everyone I know who is moving.

So friendly and efficient! We moved from Manhattan to Jersey City with 2 different pick-up spots and we were all settled into our new place in 3 hours. I was so impressed with the speed and care Richard and his team took with our things. They were super friendly and made what could have been a stressful day so easy :)

We just had our second move with Roadway and Daniel and his crew were the best - professional, efficient, and courteous throughout the entire process. They handled my belongings with utmost care during the move-out, and I couldn't have asked for a smoother moving experience!

My best moving experience to date! Roadway was a pleasure to work with through the whole process from planning to the day of the move. The communication from the team before the move was excellent and the movers showed up on time and were courteous, professional, and hardworking. We bought the full pack and delivery service. The moving team completed the full pack and move for a two bedroom apartment in 6 hours (9AM-3PM). They packed our items with such care. Nothing was delivered broken or damaged. I have worked with other moving companies in the past, where the communication is sparse and unreliable and then my belongings show up damaged. Roadway was the opposite of this and showed that not all moving companies are slimy. I would 100% use Roadway again and would recommend them to my family and friends!

I recently moved apartments in NYC and Roadway made it extremely easy. Everyone I worked with to schedule the move was very helpful and responsive. The movers arrived right on time and got to work right away. They moved so quickly and paid extra attention to fragile items like my glass desk, tv, and peloton bike. The whole process was smooth, especially when disassembling / reassembling the bed and large furniture. Roadway truly made it so easy, couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommend!!

I had the pleasure of working with roadway to move out of my first nyc apartment and they showed up in such a timely manner and got all of my furniture wrapped and packed in less than an hour. I originally went with a different company that picked up my stuff in CT but ultimately my things ended up being delivered (to TX) by Roadway- and wow, they were great! Luis was very responsive, so professional, and the whole move in was smooth and quick! Luis and his partner Miguel took care to not crowd the space and protect the floors. The company can be expensive but you get what you pay for- my stuff may have been delivered quicker too if I went with them originally (per my coworker who went with them for her move).

Roadway Moving made my cross-country move from LA to Buffalo effortless and stress-free! Both teams (pickup and drop off) worked efficiently and took the utmost care of our things when loading up and unloading. They were also very kind and respectful during the whole process. The most stress free move EVER! I’ve moved about 15 times in my life and I have never felt in better hands than with Roadway! I underestimated how much I had, but the team was super accommodating with extra boxes and helping me pack and wrap a few last-minute things.

A lot of my items are vintage + fragile and they took *such* good care of packing them up and ensuring a safe delivery. Even my plants, which I really appreciated.

I couldn’t believe how fast the team was and we got all of my items moved out in an hour and a half, with the total move only taking 4 hours.

As a single woman who also isn’t super handy, I appreciated that Jesus and his team set up my TV for me and also my bed.

BEST MONEY SPENT! Osvaldo and his team helped us with an out of state move. They were beyond professional and took away the stress of moving day. We packed our own boxes but also had a mix of large to small furniture. They wrapped every piece in a furniture blanket and then wrapped it in plastic. Everything was packed and moved with care. It was also drizzling on our moving day and they had these non-slip water absorbing runners to lay down on the floors (which was very appreciated at our new place). We were anxious about a few bad reviews but we had zero issues. We highly recommend requesting Osvaldo and his team, if you can.

I was extremely stressed about moving into my first ever solo apartment but Roadway moving took all of that away! They packed my clothes they unpacked it in my new apartment. I can't say enough good things about Roadway! My move was so painless and easy. I was in and out of my old place to my new place in one day and completely unpacked at the end of 24 hours. I cannot recommend this moving company more! This was my first time moving in NYC with furniture and they could not have made my experience smoother. Roadway and Robert's team have been AMAZING!! This was by far the easiest move I've ever done as they packed everything with so much attention and care and were so fast!! I have moved a lot and I would highly recommend using Roadway and the packing service as they did such a great job and saved me at least a few days and a huge headache.

Roadway help me with my cross country moved from New York to Los Angeles and they were incredible. They packed my apartment for me which was amazing and they were in and out of my house within a couple of hours. Everything arrived safely. I was so nervous about moving out of my five story walk up but Roadway Moving made it the most SEAMLESS experience EVER!! I felt supported from beginning to end, they checked in with me multiple times regarding how many items needed to be moved, if I needed to make any modifications, etc. I actually had to reschedule my move in date to earlier because I signed a lease much earlier than expected, and they were able to accommodate a change to move ASAP (only a few days out).

They came on time, packed everything up for me, took apart large furniture pieces (wrapping all valuables up nicely) and were so efficient in moving everything to the truck. When they arrived at my new apartment, they put all my furniture pieces back together and arranged the rooms to my liking for me. The entire move from end to end took about 3 hours, which was crazy and totally impossible without their expertise.

I would recommend Roadway to anybody in NYC. I understand moving on your own is a nightmare otherwise!

First time using a moving company and I cannot recommend it enough. I had Steve and Jonathan help me out and they were as professional and courteous as can be. Really quick working, careful and helped way more than I even imagined! Highly recommend! (Also they deserve a raise!)

My fiancé and I recently moved from NYC across the country to CA and we heard about Roadway through social media reviews, but were completely blown away by the quality of service and speed of the move. They dropped off packing tape and boxes to our apartment a week in advance so we would have plenty of time to pack, and they were responsive (text/email/phone) through the weeks and days leading up to the move to ensure we were all set for the move day and had everything we needed. When they arrived the morning of the move, they arrived 30 minutes early and waited patiently outside to ensure they'd find street parking in NYC, and they were seriously in and out in an hour. They carefully wrapped art, broke down furniture, and labeled all of our boxes to make for an easy move in to our new place. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!

I have been moving for 7 years almost EVERY year at this point and this was by far the most stressless, quickest, smoothest, easiest move of my life. The customer service is A+ from the corporate team to the movers. I will use Roadway for future moves
