We absolutely loved moving with Roadway! They lived up to the hype and then some. Within minutes of their arrival, they were packing and moving furniture out the door. The wardrobe boxes made packing our closets so easy and we had them pack our kitchen for us which I highly recommend.
The team was so nice and made the day stress free. Our items arrived at the house the same day and they began unboxing and putting our furniture back together right away.

Absolutely loved my experience with Roadway. This is the second time I've used them and it was a much bigger move. Cross country instead of cross town. On every end, Roadway made it easy. Setup and prep is easy with their customer service team. The crews are professional, fast and friendly. They not only packed us but unpacked and all in a couple of hours. NOTHING was damaged either, which for a cross country move is kind of insane. I will always look to Roadway for my moving needs.

I used Roadway Moving this month and I don't know where to begin! They were excellent. Carlos and his workers were fast, efficient and very careful! They packed up my 2 bedroom apartment and moved me within the city. This was the first move I made where nothing broke. Nothing - not a single item was broken when I unpacked it. That's service!! They disassembled my king bed, unmounted my TV/bookshelves and took legs off of my desks/chairs and TV consoles and reassembled in my new apartment (sans mounting). Everything inside the boxes was wrapped meticulously - maybe that's why nothing broke! Each box was labeled with the contents or what room it belonged to and the team placed the boxes in their respective rooms so it was extremely easy finding my belongings! Along with the packing, they laid down protective materials so that nothing would get damaged within either apartments. I can't recommend Roadway Moving enough. Easiest move in all of my 8 years of moving within New York City and I will absolutely be using them for future moves.

Like many of you, I spent the majority of my 20s and 30s packing my car to the brim, bribing friends and family with 6-packs of their favorite drink and many, many boxes of pizza — ultimately resulting in some long nights, sore backs and joints, and the move getting done one way or another. Let’s just say it was far from ideal… but hey, hiring professionals to help was always too expensive, right? WRONG!!!

And boy was I ever wrong. If only I had known about Roadway Moving sooner!! My experience with Roadway has got to be one of the absolute best services I’ve had with any professional across ANY industry in my entire life!

From the initial intake call, where I was met with warmth and felt supported while trying to wrap my head around the daunting task of moving across the country, to the wonderful movers who showed up to carefully (but swiftly) pack our prized belongings up, to the pros who unloaded the entire truck into our new place in less than TWO hours on the other side — I experienced nothing but the utmost professionalism from every single person I worked with throughout the entire process. It’s easy to see why these guys are a solid 5 out of 5 stars on every review platform… they’re the real deal!!

Choosing Roadway Moving was the best decision we made for our cross country move. Moving has always been a stressful experience for us, but not this time ;) The Roadway team was a breeze to work with in advance-- they were very organized and responsive and set us up with a same day quote after a quick facetime of our place, where I showed them everything we wanted to bring. They gave us a quote for a full pack & move from CA > NYC and a quote for just the move. We ended up going with the full pack & move, and I'm SO GLAD we did. They packed everything up in 6 hours and had our entire 4 bedroom house loaded safely and securely on the truck in no time. The team was so friendly, nice & attentive. We felt like we were in such good hands. They gave us a window of when our stuff would be delivered in NYC & they even got it there 4 days before the final date! The said they'd be at our new place at 9am and they showed up right on time! They had everything unloaded so quickly, and put all of our furniture back together like a breeze. It was all SO organized with a packing list that corresponded to each box, so when they brought a numbered box in, I knew EXACTLY where to have them place it. This whole experience was an absolute dream & I cannot recommend them more! 10/10!!

We last minute booked this moving company - I spoke with the salesperson and he was helpful and told me he would be there every step of the way, until he became unresponsive the very next day and I found he had left the company and nobody told me. The 3rd party moving truck arrived - it was clearly outsourced and not associated with Roadway. We called to make sure this was correct. They only brought 2 people which resulted in our small 1 bedroom furniture taking over 4 hours to pack. They gave us a 10 day window of when our things would be delivered and it came on the last possible day which was frustrating but understandable. You have to pay even more money to get your things delivered on a specific day which is outrageous when you are already paying over 5K for this service. Again, they only brought two people and it took them 5 hours to unpack everything. I have only seen 5 star reviews for this company - but I realize you apparently need to be an influencer to receive good service - everyone on TikTok was gushing over how great this service was and I should’ve known that I as a regular person would not receive the same level. Some of our items were damaged as well, I’m happy they paid us to replace them but still frustrating. I will choose a different company next time.

This is my third time using Roadway for an NYC move and as one could assume, moving in NYC can get very stressful as there are a lot of moving parts. I don't normally write reviews, but after using this company now for the third time, I wanted to. Each time they have exceeded my expectations and made the move so seamless. Will be a forever customer!

I recently moved across town with Roadway Moving and couldn't be happier with the experience. The entire team was professional, efficient, and incredibly careful with my belongings. They arrived on time, packed everything quickly and securely, and handled all my items with care. The move itself was smooth and stress-free, and I was impressed with how quickly they unpacked everything at my new place. I would highly recommend Roadway Moving to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient moving company.

We moved in the summer of 2024 from LA to Denver, and we had never before hired a moving company, so we were unsure of any specific reputable companies to work with. Additionally, we had heard through family and friends that moving companies tend to be shady and hire third party companies to move your stuff, and hide surcharges fairly often.

We heard about Roadway through TikTok of all things, as a few influencers had used it with decent success. We reached out for a quote, and a few days later Justin was able to do a video evaluation of our space to quantify how much would be required to move. He was excellent, easy to reach via his phone number, and clearly laid out the cost of our move, with no hidden charges.

The day of the move, we had paid for the full service package, where the movers would package the entirety of our apartment and we essentially could sit back and just watch it all get packed. It really helped remove that unavoidable stress that usually is involved in moving, especially when you have a deadline to meet with making it to your new place in a timely manner.

Jose, Eduardo and Humberto came on time, called me about 30 minutes prior to their arrival and they came prepared. I was very impressed with how efficiently, carefully and quickly they packed up an entire single bedroom apartment! It took them about 4-5 hours total. They gave us an itemized receipt of the number of items packed, so that we would know on our end how many boxes/items we would expect to have arrive at our destination.

On the day of delivery, Jose and Eduardo came on time, and efficiently unpacked all the boxes without issues. Additionally, because they packaged all our belongings so well, not a single item was broken or damaged in the move! The worst thing that happened was a spilt mini bottle of vanilla extract! For a huge move like this, that is a pretty amazing result of not a single permanent item damaged!

My personal belief with hiring a moving service for a big move is that you should reasonable expect a little bit of knicks and bumps on your furniture, etc, which we had to some extent with our bed frame. But that is expected. I would argue that if i attempted to move all that stuff myself, I wouldn;'t be able to package and cushion all my furniture better than they did!

5/5 stars for Roadway, great customer service, great in person service, and I plan to recommend you guys to anyone of my friends that is looking to hire movers in the future. Other companies should probably use them as a template to mold their business around it.

This is my second time using Roadway Moving...and their team really does it all! They arrived promptly at 9am and went right to work. From packing to disassembling AND reassembling, I couldn't believe all their team does! Their attention to detail is unparalleled, packing everything with such care—and placing all their boxing in their correct room upon arrival. I’ve moved several times in my life and Roadway was genuinely the best experience I’ve ever had. They came right on time and immediately started packing my furniture and pieces with such care and attention to detail, I didn’t once feel worried or feel like I had to double check to make sure nothing would break because I trusted them completely. On top of that, they made my experience really enjoyable, they were so calm and sweet both to me and to each other and I could tell they were helping me with things beyond what they had to because they wanted to, not because they felt obliged to. Genuinely could not recommend more and will definitely be using Roadway for all my future moves!

This is my second time using Roadway and I’m still amazed at how fast and efficient they always are! The guys are very helpful and super easy to work with. Never a bad experience tbh! I’ve had bad mover experiences so I was always a little weary of trying a company, but I’m very happy with this one.

So thankful for Carlos & his team of movers at Roadway. They made moving day stress-free and took excellent care of all of my antiques and collectibles.They even were able to move items I thought would be impossible like a piano & huge antique armoire. They treated us like family & went above and beyond my expectations!! Highly recommend this team & this company

I had the best experience using Roadway for my move within NYC. The movers were so helpful in making sure my move go as smooth as possible. They disassembled and reassembled my bed frame which was a HUGE help, and wrapped my furniture securely before putting it into the truck. Would 100% recommend this company for you next move!!

I couldn't recommend Roadway more! My boyfriend and I moved into our first apartment together in Los Angeles and Roadway made his experience completely stress free. Our moving crew was speedy, professional, and made this experience so much fun. We are so thankful to have used Roadway for this big move!

After getting multiple quotes for my cross country move from NY to LA, myself and my family decided to go with Roadway based on their seemingly stellar reviews. But as usual things are not what they seem.One of the few boxes The company packed for us was so poorly packed that our very nice coffee machine was crushed and ruined . We informed the movers packing it was a very expensive machine , and they proceeded to throw it in a box with no protection or packaging. When it made it the LA it was ruined . The foreman in LA of the movers (Who were otherwise pretty good) informed us he was in a slack chat with the owner of the company and told us he will take care of the broken machine. He said submit the paperwork for the broken item, which we did. Now the coffee machine is worth $800. In the end the company offered us about 200$. Now while I'd understand if we packed the machine this would be our issue. But the company packed this machine in their box. If you are at all using Roadway , just be aware if they say they are packing something and it's expensive, if anything happens to the item you will be out of Luck

UPDATE. The company has reached out, and is paying for the replacement of the machine.

I will for sure be using Roadway again they were very efficient and fast when it came to the whole moving process. The movers were so kind 🤍 and easy to work with especially since are next location was in a higher apt. They even reassembled my furniture so I didn’t have to lift a finger!

Roadway moving helped me not just physically move my items but took care of my personal items like beauty area and lighting with care. Moving is typically very transactional but I believe they actually understand the emotional component of moving and take note of the items that are really personal to the person, that’s the most important thing in my opinion.

Overall, I had an extremely positive experience with Roadway Moving! Leading up to my move, they were very communicative over email. They shared all relevant details with plenty of time ahead of my move, had a clear and direct process to complete paperwork, and there was also an option to speak with someone over the phone to clarify any questions I had and gather a detailed list of what exactly I was moving. Regarding the move, the Roadway movers could not have been more friendly and intentional in making time and space, asking me what exactly I needed to be moved and giving me different options of ways certain items could be packed if they were not already. They were friendly and clean! They laid down walking mats in my apartment to avoid tracking in any dirt, and we also had a great conversation. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone!

I can't recommend Roadway enough!! This was my first time ever having movers and I won't be going back... I was so nervous getting all of my things from New York to California but they made every single part of my cross-country move so painless and eased all my fears. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and went above & beyond to make sure my experience was top-notch - from the move coordinators to the movers themselves (they didn't even complain once when we found out there was a surprise race blocking off my street and they had to park several blocks away). They were extremely gentle with my breakables and their inventory system is so smart. Seriously - book them now!

Thank you SO much to Amar and his truck 62 crew for making my move the easiest experience ever. They arrived right on time and were so professional and diligent during every step of the process. This was my first time using movers and I am just blown away by how stress free this was. They broke down all my furniture and rebuilt it in the new apartment in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Cannot recommend this service enough!! I have never used movers before and I will only use roadway moving forward. They made everything so so easy. They double packaged our furniture, mirrors, tv, and dishware so everything was safely transported. Our movers were so so nice and gave us peace of mind with everything. They packed and unloaded literally everything in our apartment and helped us find a new home for our furniture in a new apartment layout (which you don’t think of but is actually so helpful).
