Johnny and his team were superb. They took great care with all of our belongings (many of them fragile) and delivered them without one scratch or nick. They were FAST, even though we live in a 4th floor walk up. They are also just really fun and great guys to be around. Highly highly recommend!!!!!

I had such an excellent experience with Roadway and I would say it was so worth it to pay for their services. To start, I got an incredibly quick quote, and then the team was so communicative throughout the whole process. They packed and moved my items all the way across the country, and I felt safe with every item being well taken care of along the way. All the team members were so friendly and personable, as well.

I had been anxious about my cross-country move from NYC to LA for quite some time, but Roadway completely alleviated all of my stress. The process of booking my move was so easy - and the actual pick up / drop off was extremely smooth. The teams both in New York and LA were diligent, efficient and so friendly! It was an added bonus being able to track the moving truck’s progress across the country. I cannot recommend roadway enough and will certainly use them again for future moves.

The movers are amazing, but unfortunately can't say the same about corporate. Zero price transparency and unresponsive customer support. The "no hidden fees" is false advertising; I was charged $500 more for storage this month without any notification or explanation. Consider taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a trustworthy company that prioritizes your best interests.

Nothing but good things to say about the team in Fort Lauderdale. We were not finished packing when the team arrived, but Hugo Reyes, Orlando and Juan were so patient and helpful. They worked with us in other parts of the house until we were ready upstairs. Super kind and respectful of our items. Would recommend Roadway with no hesitation!! 😃

And at our destination, Aaron and Amauri were fantastic. They moved everything into our storage unit and took care to place the more frequently used items towards the front for us. The most impressive game of Tetris I've ever seen 😂 once again I definitely recommend Roadway.

I called to ask them to move 5 suitcases from hotel to an apartment. They were honest enough to tell me that they could do it but it would be much more economical to use a different kind of service. He gave me some advice despite knowing that I was not going to use them.

My recent moving experience with Roadway was absolutely flawless! It’s no secret that moving is extremely stressful (like, I was losing sleep the week before), but Roadway made my day so easy and so painless…I didn’t know moving could be this fun! The whole team was lovely and treated my stuff with the utmost care. I was moving to the top floor of a walkup and literally could not have done it without Roadway’s help. Please, if you’re reading this, stop bribing your friends with pizza and beer to help you move!! Hire Roadway and know that they’ll have everything taken care of so you don’t have to lift a finger. Incredibly smooth and snafu-free moving experience! I’ve used many companies to move and this was by far the best, most streamlined and competent process. From my first contact at the company who took all my initial info, to the move manager who was responsive, thorough and understanding, to the three-man moving team that was incredibly efficient, careful and FAST, this was a first rate move experience. I could not believe how fast Hernan and his team worked! It was my first time working with Roadway Moving and they blew me away with their preparedness and professionalism. The entire process was so easy, I dont think I could ever move again without hiring them. Everything was labeled perfectly and nothing was broken during packing or our multi hour drive to the new house. The whole team was so kind and positive even when having to move up lots of stairs or rearrange items during the unpacking. SO GRATEFUL.

We had to move from California to Virginia and after lot of research and reviews chose Roadway moving. They are just amazing and so professional in what they do. They carefully packed all large items and numbered every item loaded into truck. They tallied every item at delivery. They didn't break a thing or a box. All items arrived as they were packed in California. They assigned a person from the day of booking to delivery to update us on status and make sure everything is all right. We just moved from Los Angeles to Maryland and they were the BEST! We were throughly impressed with their attention to detail and how efficient and organized they were. They QR code every single box (we had 214!) with your name and the contents so nothing gets lost. Everything arrived in perfect order. They wrap your furniture and art and everything. They put back together any furniture they disassembled like beds too. Both crews on each coast were so kind too! Amazing experience and can’t recommend them enough!

This is my second time moving with Roadway/ Teddy moving. Both moves the movers were so professional, so kind, so fast and so competent. I have a Peloton exercise bike which is pretty heavy and cumbersome. My movers carefully wrapped and transported it up and down multiple flights of stairs and it’s in perfect condition. I could not recommend this moving company more. Thank you Teddy!!

UPDATE SEP 2025: I used Roadway again for another move and they continue to blow me away. Their packing process is SO fast and yet they take the utmost care with your items. I especially love how they label every box so they can bring it to the proper room of your new home, making unpacking super easy. Disassembling a queen-sized bed seemed like light work for them - I could never do that myself! Plus their crews are always so nice, it really eases stress on a day that can have a lot of it. Roadway packed up my two-bedroom apartment more efficiently than I’ve ever seen - a process that would have taken me weeks was done in one day, all while I worked from my couch. But the little details blew me away even further - like how they did my dishes so they could pack them, or asked if I wanted to leave out a coat so I wouldn’t get cold on the move. When the movers came the next day, they took the time to walk through everything with me and spent extra care on the items that made me the most anxious (like my tv). They thought outside the box, finding solutions to save time (and my newly-painted stairwell walls) like hoisting my bed frame up over my balcony and through the sliding doors. I can’t thank Roadway enough for the way they put my mind at ease during the smoothest move I’ve ever experienced!

The whole experience from pick to delivery was 10 out of 10. The floor Man Roberto was respectful and handled a h of our furniture pieces with care. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks. All of my furniture was delivered in excellent condition.

Roadway genuinely took all of the stress out of moving! Starting with consultation, the team was so communicative and moved very quickly. I'd reached out to a few different moving companies and Roadway was the first to reply and get the ball rolling. After a call where I let them know how much furniture and how many boxes would be part of the move, they sent me back an estimate within the hour. From there we confirmed everything and they sent me boxes for all of my stuff within the next few days. It was so helpful that they send all of the boxes for the move and it's not a seperate thing to think about prior to moving day! On the moving day itself they were at my apartment right on time and had a really great system of moving everything out. It literally took less than two hours for them to get all of the furniture and about 30 boxes out of my one-bedroom apartment! Not to mention, they actually individually padded and wrapped every piece of furniture!! When we got to the new place they set everything up for me and made sure it was all in the right place. I'm now a huge roadway fan, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for movers especially in NYC.

I used Roadway to make the move from one office space to another. I hadn’t ever seen someone do this type of move so I was pretty lost on where to begin and who to ask for help. Roadway was incredible with the ENTIRE process. First off, they were so thorough on making sure they were prepared on where to go, where to park, instructions day of. Because of that, it was so seamless and literally only took them 1 hour to pack up my entire company. Which is another thing I loved, I didn’t even have to lift a single finger. Getting from the Bronx to Long Island was not only seamless, but the moving experience itself was easy and actually enjoyable. I’ve hired Roadway for three moves within NYC and have found them reliable, friendly and efficient. My most recent experience was with Jose Rivera as foreman, he supervised the 5-person job with smooth and easy style. Alex Artimon was always responsive and precise as my sales rep negotiating the contract, and Jurgen as coordinator of the move was helpful, checking in throughout the 2-day packing and loading of an entire townhouse, and advised me that storage fees are pro-rated by calendar month and not move-in / out day. I now have a period of storage relying on Roadway to take care of my belongings and deliver them in one piece to my new home. So far, so good!

I just had a fantastic experience with Roadway, moving from Boston to NJ! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. They checked in a couple of times before the move and confirmed all the details. They arrived right on time, handled all of our belongings with care, and professionally packaged the rest of our items. Mario and George were amazing and I couldn’t recommend them enough! this was my first time using a moving company in NYC, and roadway exceeded all of my expectations. richard and alex were punctual, efficient, and so kind. they made a stressful process so seamless and quick! they were able to pack up all of our belongings with ease, even objects i wasn't sure how to wrap/pack/etc. they took apart and reassembled our large dresser and bed frame perfectly as well. overall a 5 star experience-- i'd recommend roadway to everyone i know!

Good company, and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. There was a slight hiccups communication wise woth the amount of Boxes I mentioned would be getting moved but they still took care of it well and had the space regardless to move my mom out of her apartment well. The crew was very professional, friendly, and very helpful. They helped me break down and dispose of furniture I did not plan on taking with me. They wrapped all of my items securely and even checked to make sure I packed the remote for my tv. When they delivered my items, they got everything into my new place very quickly. They asked me where I wanted them to leave the boxes and moving bags, and they even assembled some of my fixtures like my bar cart! I was very pleased with the service. They made the whole process manageable.

I used Roadway to do a move from Manhattan to out of state. They did a great job from the start of the process thru to final delivery and cleanup. Alex A. was the representative that did the initial move assessment/proposal and supported us thru out the process. He was extremely helpful and very responsive. We had a lot of questions and last minute changes and he was great in helping to make sure that all happened. The crew that came in was also terrific. Ivan, Louis and Juan were great. They quickly packed us up, safely protecting fragile items. We had many antiques and pieces of art both with and without glass and all arrived in perfect condition. They were very quick and efficient in their loading and unloading and were sensitive to both the building we were leaving and the several hundred year old home they were moving us into. It was a great experience from end to end! Thank you.

We had a very complicated and difficult move leaving SoHo after 50+ years moving to Brooklyn. 3 generations, huge art pieces, antique furniture and several moving pieces. I vetted moving companies months before the final day and Roadway came through with flying colors. From Alex coordinating everything and always being accessible for last minute questions to Nick and his amazing team on moving day. Two huge trucks, over 500 boxes, furniture in crates, they came in and were beyond efficient and professional. They work like a well oiled machine and I never felt nervous or pressured. I cannot tell you how pleased we were and will only recommend and use Roadway.

My husband and I recently completed our third long-distance move, relocating from Miami to Charleston, and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. My husband has moved over a dozen times, and I’ve used different moving companies before (including Flatrate for NYC to Nashville), so we know the difference between an average and an exceptional moving company. Roadway proved to be exceptional from start to finish.

From the moment we submitted our inquiry, the process felt professional and trustworthy. Richard, our first point of contact, was incredibly communicative and a true gentleman—he set the tone for the entire experience. Given a previously traumatic move where we suffered extensive damages and losses with a broker, we opted for the highest level of insurance for peace of mind. In the end, we hardly needed it because Roadway handled everything with such care.

Once our booking was finalized, Yeseni took over as our coordinator, and she was absolutely outstanding—organized, responsive, and so accommodating. We had scheduling concerns since we were going to be out of town during part of our delivery window, but she and her team worked with us to ensure everything arrived two days earlier, perfectly timed.

On moving day in Miami, the three gentlemen who packed our belongings blew us away. Every single piece of furniture was carefully wrapped and secured with incredible attention to detail. We own some valuable furniture, and the level of protection Roadway used (from tarps to shrink-wrapping) gave us total confidence. In fact, our DWR couch was wrapped and delivered so immaculately that it looked brand new upon arrival.

Since our new building’s loading dock couldn’t accommodate an 18-wheeler, we did need to pay a shuttle fee (which meant transferring items into a smaller truck), but Roadway handled this seamlessly. On delivery day in Charleston, Aaron and his partner arrived early and had already unloaded half the truck before even calling us. They worked with remarkable efficiency, set up our bed frame exactly as instructed, and patiently helped us stage furniture in our new apartment until we were satisfied.

Out of everything we moved, only one small vintage case broke in transit. Compared to thousands of dollars of damage in a previous move with another company, this felt like a complete miracle.

At the end of the day, Roadway far exceeded our expectations. They combined professionalism with genuine care, and every team member—from sales to coordination to the movers themselves—treated our move as if it were their own. We can confidently say that should we ever move again, Roadway will be our first and only call.

I worked with Orlando Triana group, and they were extremely efficient and impressive, I recommend requesting this group. They got my studio moved out in half an hour with no damages. It’s hard to find interstate movers who will transport smaller loads for a cost that feels within reach. I’ve used Raodway for two interstate moves and would do so again. The moving teams at each location have been great. So fast, friendly, and professional. And the communication from the representatives from start to finish is great as well. I’m a fan and while I hope to not be moving again too soon, when the time comes I know who to call.

I had the misfortune of moving twice in less than two months. The first time, we used Piece of Cake and it was an absolute disaster. Things were broken, lost, forgotten, assembled incorrectly, etc. Not only that, but they failed to complete the move.

In contrast to that, we used Roadway for our second move. It was fantastic, it went as smooth as a move can possibly go. They were professional, careful, fast and extremely competent. They even took the time to repair some of the damage that Piece of Cake caused.
