I had a fire in my apartment building that forced me to abruptly find a new place to live, and the entire experience was incredibly stressful. Between the anxiety of the situation and all the logistics that come with moving on short notice, I felt completely overwhelmed. Roadway truly saved the day. Their team came in, packed up all my belongings with incredible efficiency and care, and moved everything from my old apartment into my new place within just a few hours while I was able to step back and breathe. Every item was packed meticulously and handled thoughtfully, which gave me so much peace of mind during an otherwise chaotic time. The professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail from start to finish were outstanding. I genuinely cannot recommend this service enough — they made a difficult situation feel manageable and stress-free.

Made my move so easy and seamless! I moved from a 1 bedroom/1bath to 2 bedroom/2 bath and barely lifted a finger. They sent 3 guys and they packed everything for me. They even broke down furniture and dismounted TV’s. They loaded it all into the new place and put all the labeled boxes into the correct rooms. They were so pleasant and quick. Best moving experience I’ve ever had, will always hire roadway movers!

The process was quite smooth; roadway staff checked in periodically before our move day for clarification. The movers were courteous, fast and experienced, they wrapped every piece of furniture to ensure safe transport. We were also provided with free wardrobe boxes for clothing. Definitely booking again in the future.

I can't fully describe how amazing my experience was with Roadway. Marjan & the Truck 153 crew were amazing.

NYC just got 19 inches of snow 2 days before our move, which caused some truck parking difficulties. They didn't complain once, they just made magic happen. We had a LARGE move for NYC, they crated our marble and large TV, they were careful with our fragile items and even with the snow and wet streets not a single item was damaged or stained.

If you are moving, you should absolutely hire Roadway. They may not be the cheapest, but it was the best experience I have ever had with movers.

My first time ever hiring movers and wow let me just say I don’t know why I didn’t hire movers sooner! They were so kind and professional, efficient and took care of all of my thing like their own! They came prepared with wrap, moving blankets, extra boxes etc. Then they placed and rearranged everything back where I needed before leaving! 10/10!

I had a very short move (literally just across the hall), but Roadway Moving treated it with the same care and professionalism as a full relocation. The team was punctual, efficient, and handled everything carefully. Even though it was a small job, they made the process completely stress-free. Movers generally did a good job. A few things were broken or damaged during the move. Not sure if this is to be expected or not. My kitchen table was cracked during the move. Otherwise movers were fast and professional.

EDIT: I reached out to Roadway about the damage and they offered me the value of the table in a refund. I haven't received it yet, but I have had a good experience working with their claims department.

I just had roadway move my apt recently and I am so impressed with the entire process. My husband was extremely nervous since he had TVs broken in the past. As soon we mentioned that they went above and beyond to make sure he felt secure. They used special boxes for the TVs, wrapped every single piece of furniture we had & made sure we didn’t lift a finger. I even told them to not worry and just throw the furniture wherever since they were working so hard but he said no - he was going to make sure everything was put exactly how it was moved. They even gave us extra boxes at the end and helped pack random items laying around the house. Customer service is so important to us and they really showed that here. I am so pleased and will most def be using them again for all my future moves !!

This is hands down the best moving service I have ever used. They went to Harlem to pick up a couch for me, went to FiDi to pick up and disassemble my furniture, and then went to Greenwich village to move and reassemble my furniture. The movers were an absolute blast to be around and made me comfortable/stress-free about the big move. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!!

I’ve never hired movers before and now I understand why people do it. Roadway made my move so easy and seamless. I didn’t have to lift a single finger. Boyan was excellent in helping me move from Brooklyn to Philly! He and his teammate were quick, unloading and loading in about under two hours at each location for a single bedroom apartment. Boyan was very accommodating and communicative throughout the entire move, which was incredibly helpful as I had my own schedule to juggle, catching the Amtrak from NYC to Philly. Roadway Moving, itself, was reasonably priced, short of $2000 for an interstate move, and it was absolutely worth it. For what you pay for, you get professional, reliable service with great people and peace of mind. I can’t recommend enough!

My movers worked non-stop to get my apartment packed and moved in one afternoon. I didn't have anything packed prior to them showing up. They arrived, asked for a tour, told me to identify items I wanted to keep extra safe, and got to work immediately. Roadway was one of the first places to reach out and explained everything plainly and in great detail. The quote they gave me was almost exactly what I was expecting, if not a little lower! I moved from upstate New York to Brooklyn, and I had to change my inventory a bit a few times. It was not a problem at all, and the price barely changed. Everyone at the company has been professional, communicative, and timely. I didn’t know the building I was moving into needed a COI, and their team got it done same-day. Incredible! On the day of the move, I was still prepared for something to go wrong, just because I’ve heard stories of other people’s moves have unexpected caveats or issues. Nope — none whatsoever. The moving team was incredibly efficient — I barely began to wipe down the furniture before they had everything set up! I truly can’t imagine a better moving experience. They even brought their own tv boxes and packed them up, no extra charge. They had some extra space in one of their boxes and took sons extra pillows I was needing to shove into my car. The movers were personable and completely took the stress away from the whole event. I would highly recommend moving with roadway and will most definitely be calling again when I need to!

They were so helpful and explaining every single thing every step of the way, show me when there was something that was damaged so there wouldn’t be any confusion when unpacking taking the time to make sure everything I wanted was where it was gonna go at the apartment. Was the supervisor on the job so nice easy to talk to assisted in me and everything I needed and went above and beyond If you have a question about this company, this is the review you need to read. I was very impressed and very thankful for such a smooth transition. We got things from Connecticut then from a location in the Bronx to finally delivering into an apartment in the Bronx that’s a lot and everything was done in less than six hours. Talk about efficient work!

Movers were efficient, careful, and very nice. They arrived on time, took furniture apart and put it back together quickly, and considering they had to move my stuff up to the 5th floor of a walk up, they seemed to do it with ease. Had a great experience!

Diego and his team made my move a seamless experience. Their service was exceptional and they even helped to carefully pack up the remaining items small items I had laying around. This was an all day, local move from start to finish but they moved my boxes and big furniture out of my unit with the speed and efficiency needed. I also decided to pack up my own apartment. They sent me a 2-3 Bedroom Delivery Box Kit (which included ~50 boxes) weeks ahead of my moving day so I could handle boxing my belongings up on my own time. This offer was a huge selling point for me when making the decision to go with Roadway. I couldn’t be happier with my overall experience. I’d absolutely work with them again for my next big move.

Roadway and the team were seriously amazing. From packing larger items, wrapping literally everything, to even packing up our closets and drawers. This team worked so hard to get it done quickly and were super friendly and professional throughout the entire process. Once in the new home they unwrapped all items, asked where everything should be placed. They even reassembled larger items like bunkbeds. We had the best experience for our NYC move! The team of five was led by Johnny, and they were absolutely fantastic. They arrived ahead of our scheduled start time and got right to work.

The last move I had was a nightmare but the amazing team at Roadway that loaded my stuff seriously restored my faith in movers many times over! Communication pre-move was so easy and reassuring--it's clear that they know what they're doing with the necessary prep work (building access, moving materials, etc.) They fully packed up my apartment as is--I didn't have to do anything to prep. They packaged everything carefully and SO efficiently, and put boxes and furniture exactly where they needed to go in my new apartment. They even disassembled my bed and standing desk and reassembled in the new place. Thank you Roadway for making a move ACTUALLY stress-free and shout out to Elmer and his Bay Area team for going above and beyond with their care--they were amazing!! I moved from Chicago to NYC - Alon and his crew did such a good job! They were very patient and did not rush the job at all. They assembled all the furniture and asked where every box would go before placing it. My experience in Chicago was not as smooth, but Alon and his crew in NYC were incredible. Roadway also sent someone to do an in person quality inspection while the move was going on. So happy with the move and would recommend Roadway to anyone I know, especially in NYC!

The experience was easy and insanely helpful! The team came, did a walkthrough, packed and moved all of my things in just over an hour. They were detail oriented, and made sure to place all of my things where I wanted them. Amazing experience :)
