Highly recommend this moving company. They were professional, prompt, friendly, and incredibly careful with our things. We opted to do a full-pack and local move. The pricing is (in my opinion) fair, and representatives contacted me before, during, and after my move. Clay, Sasha, Chaquetta, and Eduardo and his team were all wonderful.

I have since recommended Roadway to friends and will use them the next time I move.

The most seamless, professional, and easiest move I've experienced!! I used them for a local move in LA and the entire move, from packing my 2 bedroom apartment in Studio City to their perfect placement of furniture and boxes in my new DTLA apartment, took less than 5 hours!!! I had a local move in Los Angeles and decided to hire roadway moving to do the job. Let me just say— Wow! I was impressed. The movers are so fast and efficient. Moving is never fun, but I am so grateful they made it so easy. I’ve moved 3 times within the span of 2 years and had hired 3 different moving companies, and roadway moving by far is my favorite. I will definitely be hiring them again for my future moves!

We used Roadway for our local move in LA and had the pleasure of working with Carlos and his amazing team. Roadway Moving is hands down the best movers we have ever used. The staff was friendly, professional, careful and overall just so nice to work with. They made the move so easy and were so excited for us it made for an actual fun moving day! They bring all the supplies and make sure your home is well protected from floors to walls. They worked efficiently and handled all of our things with such care.

Horrible experience. Expect all your careful packing to be casually tossed around.

- I had carefully packed and marked storage bins as extremely fragile, mentioned it to them as soon as they entered, they decide it was a good idea to stack them up and drag them down the stairs... Literally slid nearly $10,000 of equipment down 2 flights of stairs and I heard the loud slamming at each step and came around and watched in horror. Reassured me that we will open boxes at destination and check if anything was broken (I was moving into storage), didn't stick around to check.

- Didn't know how to unscrew a simple sofa leg. Suggested I remove the full sofa arms because guy was too lazy to go down to get his toolbox. After unscrewing it he put a sofa screw in the toolbox. I was lucky that I counted the parts to have caught this bungle.

- Accidentally (yet unapologetically) kicked and tossed fragile boxes across the floor.

- When bringing in boxes for packing + heavy packing supplies, loudly and animatedly smashing them on the floor. This is a wooden hoist building and my neighbors must have been rattled all morning.

- Had to ask to add better protection each and every step of the way. One thin layer of blanket was thought to be sufficient for a large floor mirror.

- Talking extremely loudly across the hallways (cracking jokes this way)

- At the time of loading, I asked to help separate miscellaneous items when unloading, did not care to stick around to do that.

- Used the toilet, made a mess and did not even flush. Lol You get the whole package with these guys.

All in all I've worked with and seen enough movers to know that you can get waayyyy better moving elsewhere. (Where they actually care for your belongings like they were their own.)

Roadway was incredibly organized for my local move. The sales representative and I had a zoom consultation to see what items needed to be moved. He was very quick to respond to all questions and concerns. On moving day, they were perfectly on time. They had four men and they wrapped everything safely with a lot of tape and blankets. I moved from a third floor walk up to a one floor walk up. They worked with each other very easily. No mishaps while carrying any furniture or boxes. They took their time on the stairs so they wouldn’t fall or trip. They were wearing masks. They completed the move in 2.5 hours. I subtracted a star because they didn’t use the corner protectors which I was hoping for; didn’t protect the floors and didn’t wear gloves. But that can be fixed on their next job. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

I've moved a lot in the past several years, but my move a couple of days ago with Roadway Moving was by far the smoothest. Richard + the team were right on time at 9am in the morning, and got all of my boxes and furniture out of my old apartment in the East Village within an hour and a half. From there, I met them at my new apartment in Kips Bay, and they had everything there within the next hour and a half.

All of my furniture and boxes were transferred safely with no breakages, and Richard + team also helped me to break down and re-place my furniture. The team was extremely friendly and helpful and I felt super comfortable having them handle all of my things. Also, the team wore masks the entire time, as an extra COVID precaution.

I would absolutely use Roadway Moving again in the future, and can't recommend them enough!

Wow, very fast! I was not 100% packed up when they arrived and they basically just stuck the remaining stuff in boxes and wrapped it up and we were done!

Business end people on the phone/email also very proficient and good communication from them all the way through.

Wow, I cannot rave enough about Roadway Moving! This was the first time I used a moving company and even though it was a local move for me, I was still blown away by the service. The movers were not only timely, but were friendly, professional and efficient. They also took care of all assembly, disassembly, packing and unpacking, which made my life easier. Overall, it was a stress-free moving experience and they are the dream team that I didn't know I needed!

I had such a good experience with Roadway Moving. I have been living in NYC for almost 10 years now and i had to move to places at least 5 times already. Moving process had been always stressful for me I have to think about million things: boxes, packing, vehicle, put together furniture, etc. With Roadway moving i didn't have to think about anything. Guys made such a good job with a providing excellent service. Customer service is on top of everything as well.

This was my 3rd NYC move and my 12th overall move and I have never had such an easy experience. I was absolutely blown away by the responsiveness, professionalism, and careful work done by Roadway Moving. They moved my 1BR apartment in NYC with ease. They were early, efficient, and fast/hard workers. The men who completed my move were thoroughly kind, friendly, and respectful! And Roadway even called during my move to check-in and make sure it went smoothly. The whole team was attentive and helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better moving team.

I got stuck in another state because of the pandemic and was so grateful Roadway movers moved me out of my place so seamlessly, everything was stored safely and they took care of everything when I was ready to move back, great bang for your buck!!

This is my second time moving this year and I couldn't have asked for a smoother transition and Roadway's stress free service! Everyone was super communicative, patient, Covid conscious and transported my items flawlessly. Definitely will be using their services again the next time I move!

I have used Roadway twice now and they were just fantastic! They moved me out of an apartment and did a full packing job into my storage facility and just moved me out of my storage into a new apartment. When I unpacked everything it was so well packed that I didn't have one broken item! They were absolutely incredibly helpful and removed all my used boxes. I will definitely use Roadway again and highly recommend them!

I've moved many times over the years in NYC, and I used Roadway most recently. They were by far the most professional, kind and fast movers I've ever worked with. Their team was also in great spirits and made the process fun, which is something I couldn't imagine a move every being. They wrapped everything very professionally and took care of everything - it was so stress free, I did basically nothing. They also de-assembled my bed frame and re-assembled which was so nice. Nothing was damaged in the slightest, everything was handled with the utmost care. They really take care of you! Thank you Roadway, I'll be surely working with you again!

Roadway was absolutely fantastic! The team was both professional, on time and incredibly responsive. We had a smaller move, but they handled it in no-time! Moving in New York City is usually a whole other level of stress, but I can truthfully state that in my experience with them the actual move was the least difficult aspect. Roadway is the best moving company I have ever used - will never use another! I was downsizing apartments and happened to be traveling on my moving date so I hired Roadway to do my move for me and they were incredible. I have a lot of vintage and fragile furniture that I’ve collected over the years as well as tons of plants and I was really careful about who I chose to do my move. I found Roadway after a ton of research and after being referred by a few friends and could not be happier with the communication from them throughout the planning process, their responsiveness every time I reached out with questions, and their transparency with pricing.

They dropped off boxes a few days before my move based on the size of my apartment and on the actual moving day my boyfriend didn’t have to lift a finger. Besides their efficiency and professionalism, the team of 5 movers was so nice and charismatic which made a stressful time enjoyable.

Can we talk about moving? It is stressful and I am past the age of inviting some friends to help us move and the payment in the form of a pizza and soda.

My husband and I recently found an apartment three blocks away from our apartment and our busy work schedules would not allow for us to rent a truck and move our own items. Roadway came recommended by a friend and it was the second-best decision I made this month next to picking our fab apartment.

The movers arrived on time, wore masks, and practiced social distancing the entire time. We opted to pack our items but we had several miscellaneous items when the Roadway team came and they quickly boxed those items in a SUFFICIENT amount of padding to protect our values. We have a two-bedroom apartment and they were able to pack up the whole apartment in under two hours. The team took about an hour to move our belongings into our new apartment and even offered to take some of the boxes we broke down during the delivery.

Using Roadway allowed me to have a stress-less day so I could focus on the larger tasks associated with moving.

My experience with roadway moving was like no other, they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The movers were very courteous and were sure to follow all COV-19 safety precautions. They arrived on time to both the pick up and drop off locations, handled all my furniture including frames and mirrors with great care, and even helped us pack a few last minute things. I cant imagine ever moving without roadway movers and will be sure to use them again on my next move!

Roadway moved me from my first NYC apartment to my second! I absolutely couldn't have been happier with the service. I truly had no idea what to expect. I was blown away by how thorough they were planning and during the move. I selected the service for them to pack and unpack my belongings. Used Roadway twice over the last year and a half. Both times had them pack things like bulky furniture and paintings, and some kitchen supplies. Took the pressure off an already stressful event. They show up on time, get the job done quickly and professionally, and we'd definitely hire them again.

Roadway Moving made our move smooth and stress free. We sat back and watched as they came in in safety gear and they all practiced social distancing. All the moving blankets were brand new and clean. We felt very safe and taken care of.

I was extremely disappointed at the way Roadway took care of our move in the pandemic. My fiancé and I are both now sick with COVID and all signs are pointing to our move. One person was not wearing their mask correctly, one kept taking his off and another to my shock was not wearing one at all. Instead of 3 people moving our belongings there wound up being 6 which we would have not preferred during COVID. Random guys just kept showing up and there was no communication more people were coming in.

Moving is already a stressful situation with a million things going on and I couldn’t rely on Roadway to do the bare minimum to keep us safe. Please be cautious.

Roadway was honestly the best moving experience I've had. The team was able to come early, they were super prepared with covid precautions and careful with my belongings. Friendly, professional, efficient, they were in and out of my new apartment in 45 minutes with everything unloaded and reassembled. Highly recommend for your move!

I used Roadway for my Local Manhattan move and they were beyond professional. They arrived early, packed everything, moved it, unloaded and unpacked everything except the kitchen (at my request so i could clean everything). They all wore masks and were SO fast - I moved to a walk up and the stairs were nothing for them. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Roadway helped me move from one apartment in Brooklyn to another. I lived in a fourth floor walk up and moved into an elevator building. In 3 hours they arrived, packed my belongings, got to the new apartment and unloaded everything including a massive sofa and dresser. The team was timely, the account manager was quick to answer all questions and they followed many safety protocols for COVID including using FaceTime to coordinate with me while I waited elsewhere for them to pack.

This was one of the shorter distance moves for me using Roadway however my experience is consistent across all of the moves. I would recommend this company to everyone.
Even when accidents happen the team was very determined to fix the damage best they could. A leg of a heavy dresser was cracked and not only did they glue it but they took the time to put in a screw to secure it. Once dried they used colored putty and made it look almost unseen. Look moving sucks no matter the scenario so I don’t stray from whom I trust with my possessions.

We used Roadway for moving within our same apartment building last weekend. They did an AMAZING job and far exceeded our expectations of a moving company. I had called a few movers to get quotes and one of my main concerns was we have the Peloton Tread and it would have to be taken apart - a service Peloton usually offers but suspended during covid. Roadway was the only company who assured me they knew exactly what to do - the others basically said they might not be able to move it or couldn't guarantee it would work again! This was a no brainer to go with Roadway. They also helped us mount and dismount 3 TVs. I was so impressed by how quickly they got everything out of our current place and into the new and everything was done flawlessly. They took all the covid precautions as well and felt super safe! I highly recommend Roadway for any moving needs.

We recently moved within NYC from the financial district to Chelsea and had a terrific experience moving with Roadway. Our team from Roadway was quick, efficient and took great care of all of our stuff, even up the stairs in a fourth floor walk up! They were also very extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure our experience was a good one. Moving during COVID was a bit stressful, but we felt safe the entire time and protocols were followed along the way! We will certainly use Roadway for future moves!

I've moved a few times over the years in NYC and I've done everything from loading up an SUV, packing out a work van, renting a u-haul with a couple friends, and hiring a couple people from task rabbit. Every time I moved was such a stressful experience that this time I talked my girlfriend into hiring a moving company. We reached out to a few places and they were all priced roughly the same, but Roadway had some of the best reviews so we went with them. Now I understand why, they definitely made the entire process much easier than we ever thought it could be.

They were quick to respond and did a virtual walkthrough to check what needed to be moved, once that was done they sent me a quote that detailed everything including the time the movers would arrive. We approved that, and Roadway followed up to confirm everything with me.

On the day of the move we were a little worried because we had more small items that we originally thought. We informed the movers and they contacted Franklin who had been handling the process and he reached out to give me an updated proposal for the additional items. The price was very reasonable, we agreed to pay the difference and Pedro and his team of movers had the entire apartment packed under two hours. All we had to do was travel to the new apartment and let them in, and direct the placement of items. They even disassembled and reassembled our queen bed, dining room table, and a 3 piece sectional. Rather than spending the entirety of a day struggling to move everything ourselves, we got to just relax as a team of professionals moved everything faster than we could imagine.

As much as I never want to move again, the next time I move I'm definitely going to be contacting Roadway first.

The entire staff wore masks and gloves upon entry, showing they prioritize health and safety. They were incredibly in depth with their description of the process of how things worked. Once the process began, the team had a majority of my things boxed and in the truck within an hour. Once we arrived at the end destination, the team handled all of my items with care and had them unloaded AND unboxed within 45 minutes. I was so pleased with the speed and care they took. Only way I’ll move in NYC going forward!

My husband and I had lived in the same apartment for nearly a decade since we first moved to NYC so naturally we were intimidated by the moving process especially considering we were making that move during COVID. As soon as our crew showed up and started the move, those worries went right out the window! We had three movers for our one bedroom who were very professional and extremely fast. They moved about 15 boxes, the TV, a bookshelf, couch, mattress, bed frame, and two dressers all in about 2.5 hours. Not only was the process surprisingly seamless, but their use of PPE made us feel comfortable having strangers in our new and old home. Thank you Roadway, 10/10 would recommend.

What a fantastic move during Covid-19! We were nervous, but the movers/Drivers were all in full safety gear and equipped with hand sanitizers, masks and gloves. They even had extra masks for us!

The move itself was also amazing - they took such great care with all of our belongings and everything got to our new home in perfect condition. Would use again for sure!

Roadway was not only professional, but they were over- accommodating. They actually refused to let us leave with anything but a backpack. They were very kind and everything arrived safely, in good condition, fairly quickly. They even put our bed together which would have been a gigantic task for me to do on my own.

Once you go Roadway, you don't go back! I'm never moving with anyone else. This was my first time using a professional moving service and WOW! The movers were SO quick and were so delicate to make sure nothing got broken, and even took apart and put together my bed frame for me. My in-state move was done, top to bottom, in less than four hours!!

Excellent service. They moved our bulky furniture and heavy boxes in a torrential downpour and nothing was damaged. They took everything apart and put it all back together exactly where we wanted it. They were also very polite and friendly. They were pricy but worth it. Five stars!

We were hesitant to move, even a local move, in the epicenter of the pandemic, but luckily we found Roadway Moving who was completely understanding of the situation and made this decision easier as our move date continued to change due to things out of our control.
Our move couldn't have gone any smoother. Roadway arrived on time, and even a few minutes early to get the boxes set up outside before coming to our apartment. We were told 3 guys would be coming to do our packing and move, but 4 arrived! Out of the 4, 2 were veterans of the US Army. We've never seen 4 guys work so hard and efficiently, while being sweet and attentive at the same time, and in 90 degree weather, and during the pandemic. It was obvious that these guys were true professionals, knew what they were doing, and actually enjoyed their work. Cleveland, James, Jason and Ishmael were great and Roadway was amazing! We will definitely be using Roadway for future moves!

I can’t praise this moving company enough. When I made an initial online request, I received a call right away and was guided through the entire process. Joseph had incredible patience and kindness. He walked me through everything and told me not to worry. And he was right! Everything went seamlessly and the movers went above and beyond. So professional and nice. My apartment was completely set up by the time they left. I can’t wait to share them with any friends and family that have moves in the future.

I've moved within NYC 6 times, and my experience with Roadway Moving was hands town the best I've had, by a long shot! Even before the actual move, the customer service was incredible helpful, efficient, informative and friendly. The scheduling process was easy, as well as receiving the necessary COI. Moving day itself was a complete breeze. My movers were Alon, Kimmy and Mandale - they were all very friendly, professional, and took great care of my belongings. Everything remained in perfect condition. Couldn't recommend Roadway Moving any more!

I used Roadway Moving earlier this year to move from Manhattan to Paris. The move was not very big, but had some pieces of art. The initial communication and quote was fast and seamless. However, once I paid the security deposit, the service completely changed. They were extremely slow to answer any questions. There were also pretty bad at informing me of many of the details of the trip, including extra taxes and insurance. I remember asking several times and getting different answers from different people. My art pieces required special wood crates that were supposed to be opened by the delivery guys in France. However, they they sent a single guy without any tools! The guy was never told he was supposed to open the crates which were very heavy and complicated to open. We spent hours opening them! I also had to paid extra taxes in France which, again, I was not informed of. Overall, I think they might be good to do simple local moves within NY, but if you are moving internationally, or you need to move art, don't use them!

The guys that helped with our move was very efficient timely and respectful. They handled our goods with the utmost respect and I would recommend them for any long distance or local move. I personally will use their service again In the future.
