Roadway was a game changer for my move! Their team was super efficient, professional and kind, and took such great care of all my furniture and belongings. They helped me pack + unpack all of my large items and even stopped by another address for me to pick up a couch. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience with Roadway, the three men were efficient, friendly, professional, and handled my items with care. We listened to music and danced together! It made moving fun. Before this, I had always chaotically moved with the help of friends, but Roadway made it 100000x times easier and took the stress out of moving :)

We moved from San Diego to Charleston ~ cross-country and truly cannot say enough good things. We’ve done this move 4 other times on our own and this truly changed the game for us! The actual movers are so kind, timely, and respectful. The consistent follow up from the team via email/phone call is remarkable. All of my questions were always answered and they were so so fast getting across the country. Everything arrived perfectly and still organized in every box. We will never move without Roadway again - for all long distance and short distance moves. :)

Okay I literally cannot say enough good things about Roadway Moving. I was SO stressed about moving and hiring movers but the guys who showed up made the whole thing actually so fun and enjoyable. They were cracking jokes the entire time, super friendly, and somehow also incredibly professional at the same time. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Every box and every piece of furniture was handled with care. I genuinely trusted them with all of my stuff and that’s not something I say lightly. If you’re on the fence, just book them. Seriously.

I had to move my ceramics studio for the third time in two years and roadway made it soooo easy. They were so communicative, timely, and so careful with all of my delicate equipment. Especially my kiln. They were done so fast and the team was incredibly helpful and friendly. I didn't move a muscle! Would highly highly recommend!

Everyone at Roadway Moving that I had the pleasure of dealing with, was in fact a great pleasure, very friendly, very professional, the office staff, and the movers exceeded and went above and beyond my expectations, and I’m a real fussy man, everything they blanket wrapped, they as well plastic wrapped to my surprise ( included, not an extra charge ) the moving team in California did excellent job wrapping my belongings, and they were happy smiling a lot, as well the moving team in Florida were happy smiling a lot too, all my belongings arrived in outstanding condition, many thanks for a job well done 😃👍

So nice to work with, they communicated with us multiple times before moving day to make sure everyone was on the same page and there wouldn’t be any surprises. The move itself was quick, and all of our belongings were set up in the new home easily.

This was by far my easiest move. I felt so bad not helping but they read my mind and treated everything I owned with such care. The whole process took 4 hours to go from my 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom which is insane.. It happened so quick and they unloaded and unpacked almost everything. I was on my couch in my new place with a glass of wine by 7pm with almost everything fully unpacked. Not to mention they were so friendly and transparent from my first initial quote, to them leaving from my new place. Would highly recommend

The guys at Roadway were amazing! They were friendly, fast, and helped our move go smoothly the entire time. We really appreciated the attention to detail and that they not only neatly packed and transported all of our belongings (and hung up my wardrobe with ease, yay) but they also helped us get rid of unwanted items at the same time! Thank you guys for everything, we will definitely make sure to tell our friends to use Roadway as well.

Update: Amazing service on the backend. Stuff was quickly moved into a 3rd floor apartment with care and precision. Extra attention paid to the fact that some stuff was coming into an apartment and the rest was going into a storage unit. The crew was just as good as the packing crew and was thrilled with the service.

Only negative was a lack of communication once the stuff was packed, however, I think there may have been some extenuating circumstances. Either way I will not hesitate to call Roadway in the future!

Amazing. 7th move in 12 years and this was the best experience. From the very start the initial management team was very communicative and helpful. The crew who did the move was amazing, very professional and courteous. No one seemed annoyed to be doing their job. They expected nothing of me and treated my property with the utmost care. Slightly higher price than other movers, but well worth the cost for the work ethic and professionalism.

I love Roadway! From start to finish I was taken care of by Roadway. Richard helped me book my move and was very kind and informative regarding how the move would go. Roadway sent a team of 4 to pack up my entire apartment and load it into my new home. They were extremely courteous, careful, and efficient - protecting every piece of furniture with wrapping and blankets. They also laid down mats everywhere they went to avoid damaging the floors of my old and new home. The crew was super friendly and respectful. Roadway was even open to doing a multi-stop move, stopping at my boyfriend's apartment to add a few additional bulky items to the truck before final unload. I couldn't believe it! It made my moving day stress free and painless. I got to enjoy the experience and feel excited about my new home without being completed exhausted at the end of the day. BEST. MOVERS. EVER. Look, I've heard some absolute horror stories from people about long-distance moving. I was cautious about hiring any company, but a friend recommended Roadway after they moved from Los Angeles to NY. I thought their price was fair considering I had another set of friends recently move from California to Texas with another national line, and it cost them twice as much as Roadway quoted me for a roughly same-sized apartment. They wrapped up my furniture with great care (blankets, cardboard corners, plastic), protected my floors with rubber mats and covered the edges of main doorways they were moving through. Tons of communication happened prior to the move and after. OH and the best part. Our stuff arrived across the country in exactly one week. UNHEARD OF!

I have used a few different moving companies over the years but after my recent move with Roadway Moving, I will only hire them for any future move.

Communication was A+ far before the actual move with an initial overview call + an additional call right before the move. I would definitely recommend writing down everything you are moving to be prepared for these calls. They emailed me their insurance information/filled out HOA forms within hours of me sending the forms over.

As a single woman, I felt very comfortable around the whole crew. They may not realize it but their kindness and respectfulness really made a positive impact on the day for me. They generally made a fairly stressful experience so much easier. Also, these guys are absolute BEASTS. So organized, fast, & took great care in every step of the move. I could not believe how fast room were being emptied.

Another thing I would recommend is to get the wardrobe boxes. I fit my entire closet in 5 wardrobe boxes (I put my folded clothes in bags at the bottom of each box)! This was my first time using wardrobe boxes and it was so easy to just take my clothes directly from their boxes and move them into my new closet.

My other belongings arrived & landed in pristine condition. Not a scratch on a doorway or floorboard was made & they finished far earlier than I expected. This is a no brainer 100% recommendation from me!

Jose and his team were fantastic to work with. He was communicative, and the entire team was incredibly detail-oriented. They worked quickly and were thoughtful about where to park the truck and how to protect larger items.

WOW, I will never move again without hiring roadway! Three incredibly professional and hard working people came to move out my three bedroom home. We had lots of fragile music equipment and everything made it safe and sound. They were quick and professional highly recomment!

Our local move with Roadway Moving exceeded our expectations. The moving team of 5 (two trucks) packed us up and moved us to our new home in 1 day. They were hard working, careful and extremely professional. Our salesperson Belinda was amazing and she even came onsite at the beginning of our move to check in and say hello. We also received a visit from a QC manager midway through the move which was a nice touch. He took pictures, checked in with us to make sure we were happy and then spoke to the moving team. I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving and I will be calling them the next time there is a need... Hopefully not too soon!

i used roadway after considering between them and another moving company, but i ended up going with roadway since they offered the best deal with full-service packing! they packed and moved everything SO QUICKLY! i couldn't believe how fast they were packing and unbuilding everything. i couldn't recommend roadway enough!!!

from pick-up to drop-off, Roadway Moving made my first ever cross-country move the easiest and most efficient experience. Some of you may have seen my previous review, of an atypical and severe mishap by Roadway that resulted in a significant amount of damage to my belongings during the move. Needless to say, it was not a happy review.

But Roadway Moving was quick to address the issue, taking utmost care and responsibility to make sure they fully understood my situation, the severity of it, where it possibly went wrong, and worked closely with me to make it right. I never felt like a bothersome customer being passed around from Rep to Rep; I felt like someone who was actually heard and taken seriously. That’s a rare thing to feel from a large company.

This has proven to me that Roadway is a company that contains a lot of integrity, and prides themselves on high-quality service and commitment to their customers, and I respect them a lot because of it. It’s no wonder they have so many positive reviews.

Shoutout to Ross and Esi for taking the time to talk to me and resolving the issue, and for being receptive about learning from this unfortunate and unprecedented case.

Carlos and his team were amazing! We used them for our Orange County move. They helped move several large pieces of fragile furniture (large mirror, italian travertine desk, etc) and everything arrived without a scratch. Would use them again!

I truly could not recommend Roadway Moving more. My husband and I received just a few days notice that we needed to fully vacate our apartment and move into temporary housing for maintenance on our building. When we initially reached out to Roadway, we didn't even have details of where our final destination would be as we were still scrambling to find a furnished listing that made sense for us as business owners who work from home. They were super patient and supportive throughout the whole process. We finally found temporary housing but we still had to pack up our entire lives. They helped us carefully pack everything and sort which boxes would be going to our storage unit and which would be coming with us. Their crew was so calming and kind which was so great during a really stressful and unexpected situation for us. They are the best and we will definitely be using them again down the road when we find a permanent home!

I'm in the process of moving from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. I found one company with great ratings, but was charging way too much. Then I found Roadway, who gave me a much better price. Note that they do airline-style pricing, with the cost being cheaper the earlier you book.

From the beginning through my stuff arriving, their communication was excellent. I always knew where I was in the process and got all my questions answered quickly.

Then, when the guys came to load my stuff, they went out of their way: they helped pack some things I hadn't sorted yet. And when I realized that I had forgotten to send my bike (listed on the manifest but I had left it in the garage), I asked if I could drop it off at their storage facility. They said no need, as they had another move nearby the next day and came and picked it up!

The estimate for delivery was up to 19 days but they got it there in ten. Everything was great and I even hired them to remove old furniture in the new home.

These guys were so good that I almost thought it was a scam. But it was all legit and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for movers - local or national - you definitely need to start here.

I had a 3 stop move with lots of big furniture, and roadway was able to finis the entire move within 3 hours. They were so quick and skilled, they even moved 2 large planters I had into a balcony section of my house where I was convinced they wouldn’t fit down some very narrow stairs. Very happy with my experience with Roadway. I did a mid distance move with them and was supported by Monica as we planned my move together, changing the pricing periodically as I made decisions about what items to take and how I needed them moved. It was easy to talk to her and she was so understanding. Elmer lead the moving crews on both ends of my move, working side by side with his team to pack and move my precious things, big and small. He was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond, it really put me at ease. He made sure my precious large plants were taken care of and checked on them overnight when stored in the truck. I recently moved apartments in LA and honestly was dreading it because my past moves have been kind of chaotic. This time I used Roadway Moving and it ended up being a really smooth experience.

They showed up on time, got straight to work, and were super efficient without being careless. I had a mix of furniture and random boxes and everything was handled pretty carefully, which I appreciated since I’ve had things damaged before with other movers.

My first time using a moving company and I don’t think I will ever move without one again!

The Roadway team arrived exactly on time - I was told they might arrive between 9-11 and planned to rot in bed a little longer but they showed up at 9am exactly and got started right away. I packed the boxes myself but honestly wished I paid a little extra for them to do it for me, because they were so clean, fast, and efficient with their work (I could never). The boxes got moved out in around 40 minutes before they started on wrapping up the furniture. They were so careful yet swift while moving the heaviest things like bed frame and dressers, and always asked questions to confirm what is okay to move. For the items that were shaky or have loose pieces, they also made sure to wrap them up securely before bring them down. The move out process took about 2.5hrs.

Move in was even faster, took about 1.5hr. They reassembled all my furniture (so I have a place to sit and sleep immediately) and left all the boxes where I asked them to. The provided wardrobe boxes made it really easy to put back my clothes on hangers. For my next move I would definitely ask them to help pack & unpack as well - it has been such a painless and swift experience.

LOVED my experience with Roadway! Did a big move from my studio apartment into a 2-bedroom and they made sure all my items and furniture was safe and sound.

I even had a last minute change and needed them to pack my entire kitchen area for me instead of packing it myself because I wasn't able to get to it, and they securely packed all my fragile items (plates, bowls, mugs) and transferred it to my new place.

Roadway made the move a 10/10 process. It was so easy it made me rethink moving, I’d do it over again if I had to because the process was so easy! I’m so happy and thankful for Roadway moving. My stuff was handled so gently and everything was cared for perfectly.

I’m not much for writing reviews, but we threw a lot of wrenches into our multi-stop, long-distance move and the people at Roadway rolled with everything. I wanted to write this as a show of thanks. Our coordinator Justin was clear, professional, and detailed. Because our move was complicated, I expected there would be crossed wires along the way, but he understood everything perfectly and there were no hiccups along the way. Christine was also very responsive and made herself available if we needed it.

The movers themselves were great! We had two separate crews (LA and SF). Both worked quickly, packed and unpacked the furniture carefully. The SF crew switched around furniture at the last minute when I ended up moving into a different unit. I deeply appreciate everyone’s patience during what was undoubtedly a very confusing job

Moved from Santa Monica to Marina Del Rey and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The team showed up on time, worked efficiently through everything, and left the new place completely set up. By that evening I was cooking in my new kitchen — that's how smooth it was. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a move that actually goes the way it's supposed to.

I filled out a form to receive an estimate about an incoming move a day and a half ago. Since then, I have received nearly TEN calls, some from different numbers, as well as multiple texts. After asking to be contacted by email, I did not receive a direct response--only more calls and texts. I finally answered a call: no response, no voice. I have since blocked two of the numbers that were used. Completely unprofessional and borderline harassment, would never turn to a company that uses these tactics.

Overall great service! They were pretty great! I had a tv get damaged and a char missing but they are working hard to address the concerns and make things right! I would use roadway again. The guys were very nice and very professional! Definitely worth it, I was able to live stress free on my move out/move in day thanks to roadway!

Roadway Movers handled my entire cross-country move from start to finish — packing, supplies, and shipping — and I could not be more impressed. They provided all the packing materials, carefully packed everything up, and got it all safely across the country without a hitch.
My biggest piece of advice for anyone moving: don't try to piece-mail it. Coordinating movers, packing supplies, and shipping separately becomes an absolute nightmare. Handing it all off to Roadway Movers was a game-changer. One call, one team, zero stress.

Got a new job and needed to get my wife and I cross country and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. The delivery window was Feb 26th to March 11th, got a delivery window of the 26-28th after pickup; then a 24 hour notice on the 26th; and we got all of our stuff delivered on the 27th.

There was some delay and a $300 charge because the truck wouldn't have worked with how narrow our complex is, the guys had to go get a van and move everything over. We have everything unpacked now and everything has come out with no issue at all. Even some models I had paced pretty poorly came out totally fine. We are most likely moving again in 12 months and will be using them again without a doubt.

They also helped with disassembly and assembly on pickup and drop off. I believe we were around their minimum to charge because we wanted to replace most of our stuff (5 year old couch, 7 year old coffee table, etc).

Total to move a one bedroom with 15 boxes, a mattress, dresser, cabinet, desk, PC/monitor, and pet ramp was $2912.

Made my move so easy and seamless! I moved from a 1 bedroom/1bath to 2 bedroom/2 bath and barely lifted a finger. They sent 3 guys and they packed everything for me. They even broke down furniture and dismounted TV’s. They loaded it all into the new place and put all the labeled boxes into the correct rooms. They were so pleasant and quick. Best moving experience I’ve ever had, will always hire roadway movers!

They disassembled all my furniture, wrapped it up nicely and then assembled it all in the new house.
