Roadway Moving was honestly unreal. They walked in, did a quick walkthrough, put someone in every room, and immediately got to work. It was nonstop from there. The attention to detail was insane. They wrapped literally everything so carefully, and I never once worried about my stuff getting damaged. The craziest part? I hadn’t packed a single thing, and they had my entire place packed up so fast. Moving is usually one of the most stressful things ever, but they made it feel effortless. I would 100% use them for every move going forward. Worth every penny.

Moving is always super stressful so I decided to hire movers this time around. Roadway sent 4 movers to move my 1 bedroom across town and we were done within a few hours. They packed everything so carefully and everything was moved into my new place in the same condition which is rare with movers. They packed all of my hanging clothes for me in wardrobe boxes which truly changed the game not having to move the clothes off hangers. I will 100% be hiring Roadway for all my moves in the future & so not have enough great things to say!

Texted updates (which I 100% prefer over calling). Showed up during the window of time as they said. Professional. Quick. Yes the stuff they had to wrap took a while, but that’s because they did such a safe job! I have no worries anything they packed will have any damage. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

I just did a cross country move from NYC to LA and I would've never been able to do it without Roadway! I had so much stuff I needed to move and they made the process so easy with full packing, and all my stuff got delivered to my new place in LA in about 2 weeks! Everything was intact and no damage :) Packing my 1 bed took about 2 hrs. and delivery (unloading) was like 30 minutes they work so fast and efficiently. Always going with Roadway they made my life so easy.

Update: Just did another move with Roadway, and they moved my 2 roommates and I into our new place so seamlessly! I was nervous of getting all of our things mixed up during moving, but the movers made sure to label every box so every thing went to the right rooms. The movers are always super kind and efficient, I don't think I'd ever be able to move again without them :)

I recently had a last minute move and Roadway was able to take care of the job beautifully. The packing and moving team were incredible, kind, and took great care of all of my possessions. Even with larger furniture, everything was wrapped and transported with no issue. I highly recommend!

I totally recommend Roadway!! I used them for a long distance move from NYC to LA. I had compared many moving companies, and Roadway had super competitive pricing despite being its own carrier (they do the entire move from state to state, vs some other companies broker out to other trucks and there’s less care for your items). I originally estimated about 330 cubic feet and Roadway estimated around $3,000+ I think, while another very reputable company quoted me $7,000+, and other broker companies quoted me a few thousand as well. I ended up only having about 200 cubic feet of stuff when I better calculated it, and my total went down to about $2,200 with roadway. This was such an amazing price to pay. The delivery to LA was extremely quick as well, which I was surprised by.
I bought moving insurance for my furniture just in case, but everything arrived in pristine condition, all items accounted for, still in their secure packaging, etc. Roadway put plastic, cardboard, and moving blankets on all furniture.
In NY, the movers put out a roller carpet in my apt which I really appreciated. Both the movers in LA and NY did a great job and seemed trustworthy, and communication prior was amazing. Definitely will use again and highly recommend for local or long distance moves!

I had an incredible experience with Roadway Moving. The movers communicated their arrival time in advance and the morning of and showed up in the first hour of their window. They were incredible friendly and efficient. They treated everything with great care, gently packing up my delicates. I was afraid since I have a lot of expensive equipment, but they treated it all like it was their own. I’ve done the moving myself before, but I could never have pulled it off like this. They were fast and I found myself looking for something to do because their systems were so efficient, they barely even needed me there. I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving for your next move. The worst thing that happened to me is that if you are a truck driver and you take a load here, get ready to be loaded and unloaded in 10 hours and start driving hell, in the end they will say that every box was unloaded in 2 hours and dragged on a cart

I understand following up with a potential customer, but this level of outreach felt intrusive and unprofessional. It made me uncomfortable and ultimately ensured I would not consider using their services.

roadway literally wowed me because i had no idea they would do literally everything! they disassembled and reassembled everything, unmounted my TVs and anything else mounted on the wall, and wrapped everything with care. literally did not have to lift a finger i was so impressed.

Easiest move of my life! They took my bed apart, rebuilt it, helped me pack, unload, etc! Kindest men, fun to be around, and so beyond helpful. They kept a positive attitude and made a day that I was super stressed about seamless. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Lured by positive reviews, I almost moved with Roadway, but their second, more considered estimate for my move, after more specific information from me, was almost double the estimate, at nearly $100 more per hour, than what I actually paid with the mover I chose instead. By then I had paid a 10% refundable deposit, also double that of the mover I chose. I canceled the move and requested the refund only 4 days after ordering service and 3 weeks before the move. I received an email response stating my requested refund would be reviewed for eligibility. I complained about that message. I was told that it was an automated response. Bad automation. I was also told I would receive the refund within 2 weeks.

2 weeks. I have never waited anywhere near that long for a refund. They generally take a few days, even 1 or 2.

Did I receive my refund in 2 weeks? I did not. I complained. Did I receive a response, an apology? I did not.

I had the credit card company reverse the charge. They advised, understandably, that if Roadway did refund the charge, then the reversal would be removed. Makes sense.

Has Roadway since processed the refund? It has not.

Interestingly, when I paid the moving company I did use, I mistakenly used a credit card different from the one I intended, which offered more advantageous credit terms. The next day, I contacted the moving company and asked if they could possibly reverse that charge and make it again to my preferred card. They very kindly agreed, saying they would charge the new card first and after that, reverse the charge on the first card. Which they did.

It took 3 hours.

Roadway made my move from LA to Miami feel so much less stressful. Their team was professional, organized, and handled all of my belongings with so much care. Everything arrived safely, communication was great, and the entire process felt smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The easiest move I have ever had. I always dread moving, but Roadway made this move the simplest experience ever. They helped me finish packing, labeling, and most importantly did all the heavy lifting. Nothing was broken, damaged or even slightly askew at the end of the move. They even helped me take apart furniture and packed everything that went into storage like a perfect Tetris cube. I will absolutely be giving them a call if and when I need to move again.
