My husband and I recently completed our third long-distance move, relocating from Miami to Charleston, and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. My husband has moved over a dozen times, and I’ve used different moving companies before (including Flatrate for NYC to Nashville), so we know the difference between an average and an exceptional moving company. Roadway proved to be exceptional from start to finish.

From the moment we submitted our inquiry, the process felt professional and trustworthy. Richard, our first point of contact, was incredibly communicative and a true gentleman—he set the tone for the entire experience. Given a previously traumatic move where we suffered extensive damages and losses with a broker, we opted for the highest level of insurance for peace of mind. In the end, we hardly needed it because Roadway handled everything with such care.

Once our booking was finalized, Yeseni took over as our coordinator, and she was absolutely outstanding—organized, responsive, and so accommodating. We had scheduling concerns since we were going to be out of town during part of our delivery window, but she and her team worked with us to ensure everything arrived two days earlier, perfectly timed.

On moving day in Miami, the three gentlemen who packed our belongings blew us away. Every single piece of furniture was carefully wrapped and secured with incredible attention to detail. We own some valuable furniture, and the level of protection Roadway used (from tarps to shrink-wrapping) gave us total confidence. In fact, our DWR couch was wrapped and delivered so immaculately that it looked brand new upon arrival.

Since our new building’s loading dock couldn’t accommodate an 18-wheeler, we did need to pay a shuttle fee (which meant transferring items into a smaller truck), but Roadway handled this seamlessly. On delivery day in Charleston, Aaron and his partner arrived early and had already unloaded half the truck before even calling us. They worked with remarkable efficiency, set up our bed frame exactly as instructed, and patiently helped us stage furniture in our new apartment until we were satisfied.

Out of everything we moved, only one small vintage case broke in transit. Compared to thousands of dollars of damage in a previous move with another company, this felt like a complete miracle.

At the end of the day, Roadway far exceeded our expectations. They combined professionalism with genuine care, and every team member—from sales to coordination to the movers themselves—treated our move as if it were their own. We can confidently say that should we ever move again, Roadway will be our first and only call.

I cannot say enough good things about Roadway Moving! From the moment they arrived (early, by the way!), they got straight to work — no standing around, no wasting time. They broke down furniture, packed up my entire kitchen (glassware and all) with care, and even took down our TVs like it was nothing.

As a busy mom with toddlers, having them handle every detail was a lifesaver. The entire move was done in under 2 hours, and by the afternoon we were fully set up in our new home, relaxing instead of drowning in boxes.

WOW! First big move and first time using a moving company, and roadway was the best choice. They arrived exactly on time at 9 am, and by 2 pm everything was moved into the new house, rebuilt, and all in the correct rooms. They took great care of all my items, and were very nice. Not sure if we could have even made the move happen without them! Will definitely use again for my next move

I would not recommend or use Roadway again.

The movers showed up an hour and a half late first thing in the morning, which caused a ton of stress and forced me to pull strings to keep the elevators open longer both at the building I was moving out of and the building I was moving into m. They didn’t put down any floor protectants as noted in the agreement, and they arrived without boxes for the kitchen so I had to wrap all my plates and glasses using my own towels.

There’s simply no excuse for starting a move this way when this was scheduled for the longest time and I was the first person of the day.

I wouldn’t recommend.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Roadway Movers. I was told they would hold my spot and wait for me while I sorted out some legal paperwork necessary for my move. I trusted their word and planned accordingly. Once everything was approved and I was finally ready to go, they suddenly told me they were fully booked.

I understand this is a business, but if you say you’re going to wait and hold a spot, then follow through. Don’t give someone your word only to leave them hanging dry at the last minute. That lack of reliability cost me time, stress, and forced me to scramble for a last-minute solution. Would not recommend.

Roadway made my cross country move SO incredibly easy. The movers themselves were so kind and explained everything very thoroughly. They were very efficient in packing everything up and I never had to lift a finger! My items were delivered a few days after my delivery window however the movers made up for it once again by their efficiency and professionalism moving everything in to my new place. I definitely recommend using Roadway!

This was the BEST moving experience I have had!! They handled everything so carefully and even disassembled my bed and reassembled it at my new place! I typically just do it myself with friends and family, but I wanted to take the stress off and actually hire movers and I will 100% be using roadway in the future. Im moving from Tampa to Nashville and just had Hugo Reyes’ team pickup my things and it was THE most seamless service! I used Roadway to help me move from OH to FL! They take INCREDIBLE care of your belongings—everything is very carefully wrapped and protected. I did the self-pack option, so they just came, packed up furniture, disassembled any furniture that needed it, and loaded everything onto the truck. 20 days later, they arrived to our new place and unloaded everything so quickly. I just completed my second Miami move with Roadway Moving, and they are hands down the BEST movers ever! From start to finish, they made the entire experience smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable.

One of the things I love about Roadway is the flexibility they offer…you can either pack your own belongings and have them handle the move, or you can let them pack and move everything for you. As a bit of a neat freak, I packed up my things myself but still had them handle wrapping my furniture, dismounting my TV & protecting everything carefully.

My lead mover, Job, was incredible. Positive , professional, and reassuring the whole time. He kept things moving quickly without ever making me feel rushed, and checked in with me throughout the day to make sure I felt good about the process. His upbeat attitude made the day surprisingly fun for a moving day which we definitely appreciated :)

Needed help moving into a new place and decided to hire movers this time. They showed up on time, wrapped everything, and didn’t break a thing. Super professional and didn’t waste time standing around. Even helped take apart my bed and set it back up. The whole move took way less time than I thought. Only downside was the truck was a little smaller than I expected, so they had to make two trips. Still, everything got done and I was moved in before the day ended. So glad I didn’t try to do it all myself.

After connecting the Owner/CEO, my delivery was scheduled within 24 hours. Ross is an ideal small business owner. He actually cares about his customers and wants to make sure satisfaction is guaranteed. He listened to me and offered a solution to my delivery issue. I also spoke with Shakira in customer service to confirm price and move time frame and she was incredibly professional and understanding. Within 24 hours, a talented move team arrived to my apartment (early!! YAY!!) and they were ready to delivery my household goods. Milan and Milan were super easy to work with and I just let them do their thing. They were very respectful of parking at my apartment complex along with the door and elevator rules. I am extremely overjoyed that the quality of the pick up is continuing with the drop off. The move teams are consistent with why Roadway Moving is rated so high. Customers are number 1. They respect your belongings and your property. They take such care in packing, unloading, and reassembling furniture. Roadway made good on the delivery snag and I am beyond grateful for it.

Carlos and his team were the most professional and caring movers I've ever worked with. Friendly and communicative from the start! He worked with me to align our times for delivery well in advance. My commute from work takes an hour and he told me he would be earlier than the prescribed window I was given. He offered to wait until I could make it. Luckily my new boss is understanding and she let me leave early, but he didn't have to offer to do that. That speaks leaps and bounds about the quality of customer service he provides. Manuel and his team were extremely thorough in their full day pack & move job for my wife and I. They were very professional and were VERY careful with packing everything up for us and took extra care with our fragile items. They did the most gentle pack job of any movers we’ve ever had and did it in the least amount of time. We have never moved fully in one day! They were able to problem solve when tricky situations arose such as miscommunication with the sales office and customer, tight corners with large items and they took extra care in disassembling and reassembling our items. We did a cross-country move from Florida to Oregon with Roadway and it was a breeze! Took them only 4.5hrs to pack up our entire apartment, wrap everything and load it up. I had an incredible experience with Roadway Moving! I did a short-distance move in Miami and everything was so quick. They are so professional, efficient and even arrived a little early the morning of the move.

Everything was wrapped safely and they even disassembled our furniture. When we got to the new apartment, they reassembled the furniture and also helped move around rugs & rearrange a few pieces - saved me so much time!

The entire process was so easy and everyone on the Roadway team ensured the moving details were all confirmed prior to the actual move. We are SO grateful that we finally found a moving team we can truly trust and recommend!

Wow wow wow! My husband and I don’t have enough positive things to say about Roadway Moving. Due to a last minute job change my husband and I had 3 weeks to move from New York to Florida… all while I’m 9 months pregnant. From the intake call to the packing and unpacking, Roadway Moving made our move so seamless and stress free. We didn’t lift a finger!
